Always choose Mid-West.. their service is second to none.. we have tight finishing deadlines on our stores and Mid-West always comes through! If I need help with an emergency, they are always there.. not only there.. but there quickly. Meritage home builders contracted this company for electrical with my house. Wiring and plugs have worked well. My light switches have not. I have replaced about 15 light switches in my house to date. They are defective. My home warranty covered electric for 2 years. I replaced about 3 by the two year mark. After replacing approx 5, I realized this was more than a coincidence. I asked House of Power to furnish new switches and I would replace them myself. Their representative was rude and replied that it was not their problem. I offered to give supply the broken switches and that it was abnormal that switches that new were problematic.This company uses defective equipment. They are not customer service centered. They lack business integrity, being that they do not support their craftsmanship or product. A terrible experience overall.I am worried about the quality of the electrical system in my home and hope that I will have no further problems, other than possible having to replace the other 70 switches in my home over time. Each plug costs roughly $10. Right now I have spent about $150. Additionally I have spent about 20 minutes to replace each switch, approx 3 hours I will not get back.I hope that this review helps you to avoid using a company of such poor standards in both product quality and customer service.

We used EMC for our basement renovation and the team was amazing! They allowed us to customize our basement and upgraded our electrical throughout your house. Pricing was affordable and the team was reliable. Which I loved. The project was done on time and in budget.

CPL was quick to schedule my service call. The technicians were friendly, professional and took care of the job quickly. They were also very honest letting me know the issue and how it was resolved. I was very pleased with the quality of service so would definitely use CPL again and highly recommend to anyone looking for an electrical contractor!

Ohms did some work for me a couple years ago and did an excellent job. So I recently asked for a quote to do some additional work and they were very disappointing to work with this time around. It is unfortunate that their customer service is going to cost them this work and future work with me.The details - They failed to get me the first quote, and I had to call them to find out what happened and to get a second visit arranged. They then failed to show up for the second visit. When I called to find out what was going on, they fabricated a story that I had called them and said that “I was confused and didn’t want to get the work done”. After expressing my frustration, Tonya at Ohms proposed sending me a quote without having to do another visit, and recommended that it would make sense for my situation to split the work up into two quotes to tackle one at a time. The quote I received was not split and was incorrect in a few places. When I asked her to make the corrections, part of which was reducing the scope of work, she increased the cost by 30% in the updated quote, citing that the reason was efficiencies lost by having to make multiple trips (Ohms is 10 min from my house). She then lied to me for a second time when she stated that she never recommended multiple trips. It was at this point that I chose to go with another service provider.

Horrible customer service from both Ronnie and Kristine Fox. I called to check the status of a maintenance request for one of our properties. The tenant had stated she had not received a service call and needed service. Kristine was very rude when I asked her to confirm the contact number for the tenant. This is a reasonable request when the tenant states they haven't received a call for a maintenance request that was submitted over a week ago. Instead of resolving the issue Ronnie would rather cancel service than get to the bottom of why the service tech and the tenant did not connect.I have been in the business over seventeen years and a service company like this should be avoided. There are allot of good service companies out there and I recommend finding one of them like I was able to do within an hour of speaking to Ronnie.

Probably shouldn’t drive a company car if you’re going to run someone off the road. TERRIBLE DRIVER

Jolt installed a whole house generator for me. I paid for the generator upfront which was ~half of the cost, then the balance after install. Marilu took care of the administrative part dealing w/ permits & CenterPoint Energy. Vladimir handled the install. They both did a great job & made the process as painless as possible. They're also both very friendly & great about addressing any questions or comments I had.

If anyone need assistance with any type of electrical work and pulling permits for the work being performed I would HIGHLY recommend using Alpha Electric Company. I worked with Jeanne Stubbs, she is amazing and has a lot of knowledge in this area. The technician arrived timely and did an excellent job. Simply amazing work! Thank you so very much! We will definitely keep you all in mind for our future needs!

Worthless. Called for a bid on a job and the rep told me I would have to submit a bid request in order for them to see if it was even something they would be interested in!! What a joke
