I was recruited to be an operator for Sundt, I quit my last job and gave up an amazing schedule and benefit package. I did 2 trainings over 2 weeks to be on an Intel site. The day I was supposed to start my wife got covid and I called in to inform the supervisor and to ask what I should do. I was told to be tested and regardless of the results I needed to quarantine for 10 days. My test was negative as it was sent in and after the 10 days, the foreman called to inform me his work was put on hold and to not come in until further notice. As about 2 months passed by I was given the run around and never contacted or had calls/texts replied to. Contacted the recruiter and was told in the system I was inactive and terminated. Thank you Sundt Constrction for coming to me for work and taking away what lively hood I had and not being able to pay bills, support my family, and wasting my time. Horrible business practice, unprofessional supervisors and I’ve never been this disappointed in a company who says that have “values”…

We recently partnered with FHR on a bathroom remodel for our main bath and hall bath. Our vision was brought to life and we couldn’t be happier. Oron and Antonio were professional and helped us through the process as this was our first remodel. I would highly recommend!

The preferred insurance vendor wasn’t a match, so I sought out dozens of contractors, interviewing each one, digging in deeper as I had an entire home water loss and extensive work to be completed.

Jodi was the first voice of Bethom and was excellent. Their project manager/superintendent CJ Castro was on site within hours, professional, detailed, and assured me his estimate would be inclusive of all damages. I requested referrals to review Bethom’s prior work, and Jodi eagerly provided. I called EVERY SINGLE referral, sometimes multiple times to make a determination, asking several questions. All referrals had valuable input and realistically provided areas of opportunity for Bethom. Each referral spoke highly of Bethom and if they had to do it again, stated they would hire Bethom again, and many have used Bethom for additional projects.

My home is 65-70% complete and I’m ecstatic to see the final touches. For now, hands down I’d recommend Bethom for residential and commercial. Their project manager works hard and goes to bat for his clientele. CJ is knowledgeable, responsive, transparent, and involved in the process. He keeps you in the loop as often as you prefer. Any delays were outside Bethom’s control.

We are in the process of remediating a complete remodel that had gone wrong with another builder. We tapped 4 GEN for the remediation and we cannot speak highly enough about 4 GEN Homes and David.

Background: we were new to Arizona and the previous builder we had hired to remodel our recently purchased home — after 16 months of ongoing workmanship problems and error — left us with a complete disaster and abandoned the project: having falsified their licensing, falsified their insurance, having not pulled a valid or legitimate permit, or having proper inspections done, and hiring many to perform work who were not licensed or properly skilled. You can imagine how difficult it would be to discover this after the fact, and what a complete mess and stress this would create in so many different ways. Any whole house remodel is, by itself, a daunting process in which you feel lost and need the guidance of an expert contractor. Given the difficult situation we were left with we needed someone to come in and not only do a whole house remodel (complex as that is), but, adding to that complexity, to remediate a remodel that had gone very wrong. Not many would be able or willing to take this on.

We are so thankful that we found 4 GEN Homes / David Mikes, and that he was willing to take on this huge problem for us. He is an amazing contractor — he listens, he is calm, always pleasant, very careful, intelligent, insightful, and experienced; and he speaks, consults, and guides us with the authority of confident construction expertise and extensive home building experience, and yet without ever presuming upon us. He is reassuring in how he counsels. He also has a cadre of vetted professional subcontractors he’s used many times and knows they can perform the work to an acceptable level — he’s not trying to find just any subs as he goes along. He takes the chaos of the situation and calmly organizes it and makes it seem manageable and clear, and he always wants to come to the right result and covers nothing up that needs to be done right. He is your advocate, not primarily an advocate for the subs or workers. He usually answers calls or quickly returns calls or messages and is always ready to help and address any concern — and he is usually way ahead of you in identifying any issue. If you bring it up, it’s likely he’s already on it. His eye for due care and detail is likely better than yours.

Another reviewer said David treats you like family. I would wholly concur with that.

I needed a block wall built since my house has an alley in the back. The reviews of Charlie and his crew are spot on. He was responsive and professional from the start which gave me the confidence I needed to move forward. I shopped around before going with Charlie and his pricing is more than fair for the quality of work performed.

Crew was punctual and the wall was finished the same day! I highly recommend No Limits Concrete and Construction, LLC for concrete and block wall jobs.

The Construction Zone, ltd. (CZ) is known throughout the U.S. for it's signature style of refined Desert Modern Architecture. CZ & principal Andy Byrnes, have been the featured builder for Custom Home Builder Magazine, highlighted in Architectural Digest for their work with Lake|Flato (San Antonio, TX) and hand selected to produce the designs of noted architects (Will Bruder, Al Beadle, & Wendell Burnette). They take extreme pride in their work and are often quoted as saying, We are architects that build things.

Our condos UNFORTUNATELY contracted this company to complete balcony restorations. In addition to severely under quoting us with financials AND time, they take ZERO responsibility in securing their workplace. They have slowly, and surely stretched their legs out, taking up more room than originally described. Each time, they have given us the excuse that this was “unforeseen”. Because they do not have the correct equipment to appropriately complete the job, they have invaded on our freedom by leaving their equipment on our property, and expect US to be responsible for what happens. This job was too big for them, they should have never let us believe that they were able to do this. The original proposal stated that we would be without full use of our property for only weeks. Weeks turned into months; SEVEN to be specific. But I was one of the lucky ones. Some have gone without access to their balconies for OVER A YEAR. NOW, apparently a transient accessed one of their scaffolding, and instead of them being responsible and securing their own equipment, they SEALED our back doors, leaving a sliver of sunlight in many instances tacking on our prison sentence for who knows how long. Funny thing is, they locked us in, and those on the outside have access to the locks. When I asked if the reason they locked us in is because of ONE person that they were unable to control, “Paul Lo Pinto ie; PJ” said, “Yes, we sealed 51 units because of one man”. Who does this? I pay an excessive amount of HOA money only to be stripped of my amenities because this construction company got in over their head. We are prisoners, and management finds it amusing. How much more will you strip from us? Haven’t you taken enough? Lastly, there is NO WHERE in the contract that gives permission for these people to board us inside, take our parking, block private streets off and threaten tow people who try and park on the street, wreck rooftops, cause deep seeded cracks in resident’s ceilings, take our lounge, proudly begin construction at 5:30 am, 5 days a week for over TWO YEARS, etc. If they only would purchase the equipment necessary to complete the job on time, and hold themselves accountable for their equipment, we wouldn’t be TRAPPED in our homes. Don’t hire these guys! It is a HUGE mistake! They do not think about the residents, they only think about what will save them money, so they can put more in their pockets. See picture attached. This is what we have been dealing with for well over a year, even if they aren’t working on your specific property... because it’s “easier”. Keep your money, Porter. Us homeowners regret the day you stepped on our property.
