But they came over to fix an issue, told us they couldn't or wouldn't fix it, and then proceeded to charge us $189 for absolutely nothing. I was extremely offended. Our appliances are good appliances. If they had just charged a nominal visit fee, that would have been understandable, because gas is expensive. We have had very positive experiences with this company. They have handled a few different jobs for us, including replacing our sewer line. Their plumbers have been professional and friendly. They show up on time, they do good work, they take the time to explain what they’re doing, and they are reasonably priced. I personally don’t understand the negative reviews on their Google page at all as our experiences have always been positive. But I would say that it also says a lot that they respond to any negative reviews and appear to try and work out the situation. We have been very happy with Owen Plumbing.
