Five stars for customer satisfaction, 1 star for pricing of my particular problem. Read this in its entirety: Two days after having a technician go to my house, the business called and offered me a refund for the $69 service fee. I applaud their customer service, however I do believe their prices are high for snaking a drain. Here's the story: Water was being backed up from the washer drain pvc pipe. I called Atomic and told them it was likely a clog. Their prices are set based on the job, not the time required to perform the job and I was not given a price over the phone for snaking a drain. So, I asked them to go out to the home and knew I would be charged $69 for a service fee. So they called me and wanted $250! to snake the drain. A 25' snake costs $25 from Home Depot and will take about 5 minutes to complete. Absolutely ridiculous. I should've done it myself in the first place, but never thought they would charge that much. If you have something that you can fix yourself, do it and don't waste your money. However, if you're in need of a company that does care about its customers and for projects that you may not be able to do, give Atomic a call.
