I contacted Tweedy Plumbing for an estimate to replace old cast iron pipes, drains, p-traps, waste and over-flow, copper pipes as well as other work. A plumber from Tweedy came out, evaluated the job and informed me that I would receive an estimate within a few days. Four days later I reached out to the owner's son, and was told that he would get to it when he had time. Over a week later I received the estimate and contracted them to do the job. Mid stream of completing the work, I was told by their plumber that other problems were found and I agreed to the additional work. I was also informed that the other work on the estimate would be done when my contractor removed the bathtub and completed the framing. I was informed by my contractor that some of the work was done incorrectly and had to be fixed before he could proceed. I contacted the plumber and he had to return twice to fix the work. I was also informed that per the owner's son, they didn't know when they would be available to complete the remaining work on the estimate and I might want to find another plumber. Tweedy plumbing might be able to handle small jobs like clogged drains but certainly not larger jobs like mine. The owner's son, Channin, was very unprofessional and communicated like a child. Although I was left in a bad position, I did find a competent company to complete the work that Tweedy plumbing abandoned.
