Chris came out the very same day we called. Instead of just going right at where we thought the problem was, he took some time to understand our house's whole configuration, and then he solved the problem at a site that was quite remote from where the problem seemed to be. This was a far cheaper fix than it would have been if a less-capable individual had tried to fix the problem by going straight at it, where it was manifesting. And, by doing it same-day, our general contractor could keep working. Then, Chris explained the organization of our house's plumbing system. That knowledge alone was worth the price. A nightmare situation was avoided, and it could not have gone better.

I have been using Proudfoot for a few years now and they are the only ones that I trust at this point. I know that they will be honest and tell me if work needs to be done or if it won't help do anything and I am wasting my money.

Called Dave after my own unsuccessful attempt to unclog my bathroom sink. He was punctual, friendly, reasonable and very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain how the plumbing is configured in my bathroom which I appreciate. I would use his services again and highly recommend.

We are selling our house and buyers’ inspection said there was a clog at the house trap. As a large family, plus just hosted another family of 5 for a week, we didn’t believe there was a clog, however, agreed to hire a plumber as part of closing. Tim called a day early and said there was a cancellation and could he come for the appointment. We agreed and explained the situation. Over the phone he said, “I can come, but we often can’t get our cameras through cast iron pipes. I can’t guarantee after I come out, they’ll even get their cameras through” We agreed to have him come as we were under contract to but LOVED his honesty! He was WONDERFUL. Turns out he was right, no clog. But our bill was exactly what he stated, no lies for extra services, no hidden fees. Will definitely hire again!

Not a very happy camper. I called them to take care of a leak at my house that I had noticed. They were prompt, came out a lot earlier than I thought they would. The ended up replacing a wax ring and bolts on an upstairs toilet and then looked at the master bath about a leak in the drain. When I asked them for an estimate they told me about $2700. I texted a contractor friend and said no way do I do this, NO WAY! The contractor was at my house today 6/28 and replaced the seal and the piece of ceiling that needed to be cutaway to access under the shower stall. $200!!!!! Make sure you question them about everything, never felt so uncomfortable dealing with a local business, that I have trusted in the past, no more. You lost a good customer.
