After having Goettl plumbing come out last night and try to soak me for 3500to4000 dollars to remove a water purifying unit which was leaking all over my kitchen bottom sink. The bottom was caving in due to the water collection over a period of time. Trish from Roto-Rooter got Tony out right away. He removed unit..wiring..capped it and replaced floorboard after Jason the mitigation expert came out and inspected for mold and water damage thank God there wasn't any or very little no mold. I paid half of what the other company charged. After experiencing such devastation with the loss of family members and a son who took advantage of mom with dementia and took everthing in these tumultuous times I was so happy to have Roto-Rooter on my side.
From Trish on the phone to Tony and Jason and their reputation is impeccable. I cannot thank you enough it was simple and quick and very professional I will use again if I need and refer to my mobile home park. Thank you so much!

There aren't enough words to describe how happy I was with their service. They presented themselves in a professional manor and repaired the laundry faucets in such a way that I believe they will outlive the house. They arrived early and were done in less than an hour. They cleaned everything up, took the old parts and left things cleaner than when they arrived. Do not hesitate to call them for your plumbing needs. You will not be disappointed at all. Be sure to let them know if you are a senior or veteran.

Plumber was able to come out same day I called and he picked up toilets I bought at will call. He could furnish toilets but I wanted to choose myself. He had to go buy parts, but he was here early next morning & completed job quickly, professionally, & left no mess. I would call them again.

Jimmy was good. He arrived within an hour of me calling to schedule an appointment and was very professional and genuinely nice. He had to cut a hole in the ceiling to gain access to the leak which resulted in a moldy mess. However, he was prepared and had already moved furniture out of the way and laid down a drop cloth to protect my floor and contain the mess. When he was done he wrapped all the contents in the drop cloth and took it with him, as well as, cleaned up some dust and debris and moved the furniture back into place.
****EDIT: A month later, I still stand by what I originally wrote. However, during my appointment I was told this wasn't a plumbing problem and I needed a new shower. I was referred to J&J Contracting who contacted me to setup an appointment to come out and give me an estimate on a new shower. Due to my shower and Roman tub being connected, I was told the tub would be destroyed while removing the shower. I hardly use the tub and didn't want to pay the extra thousands of dollars to have a new one installed. So, I only received a quote for the shower which was almost $6,000. It has taken me a month dealing with my homeowner's insurance, adjusters, contractors, and other plumbers to be told the problem IS fixable and I DO NOT need a new shower. I'm not sure why I was told I need a new shower or why the actual problem was never really explained to me.
The person that referred me to Butter Plumbing had a good experience with them (other than the cost being higher than expected) and my only interaction with Butter Plumbing seemed good, even though they didn't end up doing any work, with the exception of cutting a hole in my ceiling. I know how hard it can be to find good, honest, and affordable plumbers, contractors, mechanics, etc., in Las Vegas. I'm trying to give Butter Plumbing the benefit of the doubt, I'm not sure why I was told I needed a new shower by their representative, when I was told by several other plumbers and contractors that I didn't. My shower was fixed by another plumber for $500 and is working great! I have left the hole in my ceiling so I can monitor the fix and ensure no leaking is occurring, and I will have it patched up in a few months. I wish I would've called the plumber I ended up using before I called Butter Plumbing, as he doesn't charge a diagnosis fee or a fee to cut a hole in the ceiling (this would've saved me almost $200). Is there a possibility that I do indeed need a new shower? Maybe. But that's why I ensured I received several diagnoses/estimates before having it fixed, which by the way cost me zero dollars to receive. My feelings about Butter Plumbing are neither bad nor good. I won't be using them again or recommending them to others, but my only interaction with them was pleasant, until I received other diagnoses and estimates all stating I didn't need a new shower. Please do your research and receive several estimates before proceeding with any repairs, if I hadn't, I'd be paying $6000 for a new shower I didn't need.

Citywide offered same day service, but I chose to have them the following morning. Frank arrived on time. He needed parts, left to purchase, returned and finished the job. Everything looks and works great. Keeper!

I called this business because I received a letter from the Water Department advising me that I possibly have a leak. Called spoke to Carla she was able to get me scheduled for the next day to have them come out. Monty and his crew were able to tell me where the leak was and what would need to be done to fix it. the only thing is I would have to wait for 2 days because they were all booked. needless to say I waited the 2 days and it was fixed as promised.

Jason was one of the most professional plumber I had worked with. We had a problem with our tankless water heater. Jason came within the hour and got it working. It wasn't actually the water heater issue. It was a corroded pipe that was making the equipment not function properly. Thank God for Jason. Previous plumber have over looked this, but Jason was able identify the problem and got it working quickly.

I've lived in Las Vegas since '02, and of course have had a lot of service calls for Air Conditioning units at a lot of different residences. By far, Number One is the best. Both of the girls at the office I spoke to, and the tech (Donovan) are the most organized, professional, efficient, honest, punctual, cordial, etc.etc., crew I have ever dealt with.
We had a complicated service situation, since we were dealing with a home warranty company and a house we just moved into this April that was built in 1993. At first, I thought to call another HVAC company that we used at another home, to just get an inspection, and do any necessary preventative maintenance. The home inspector of course didn't do any of this thoroughly, so it seemed like a good idea. Well, that first company and the tech ended up basically fixing something that wasn't broken.
Their tech had mentioned that the fan motor MIGHT need replacement soon, and the bearings were most likely worn. Coincidentally, the unit started making noise almost immediately after the first visit. It was operating fine before. When we called the company again because of the noises it was now making, the same guy came back with an attitude, made some adjustments and the sound was gone. But only again for a day or two. It was really bad at this point, and even FAILED just last Sunday. At this point, we called our warranty company to have them create a work order, and the first service company never even got back to us. We left the house that afternoon, since it was almost 90 degrees inside at that point. When we returned several hours later and turned it on it was working again, so we thought maybe it was a fluke and overloaded, etc.
The unit worked for a couple days, but was making noise even worse now. When we called the warranty company again on Tuesday, within 30 minutes a different HVAC company (Number One) responded immediately, and the tech Donovan came out within 30 minutes. Of course, as he was en route, the A/C unit magically stopped making noise. He ran a thorough inspection and test of the whole system, checking amperage levels and variances, the physical unit and clearances, compressor, capacitor, fan, you name it. There was nothing more he could do at the time, it was working properly.
Our hands were tied. The warranty company would not allow the replacement of any parts since the time Donovan was there, nothing was at failure. We all pretty much knew the fan motor was on it's last leg, but it didn't matter. We paid the deductible, and had a 30 day time frame that if any issues arose again with it, he would come out without us having to again pay a deductible.
Again this being Tuesday, everything ran well for a few days. Up until around noon yesterday. This time, we noticed it was getting hotter and hotter, and outside the unit's fan was BARELY moving. It was toast for sure. We called Number One, with excellent response and phone service again. We we're afraid that it would do the same thing, and magically start working again. When Donovan called me, He told me to turn the unit off (since I said we were leaving it running, in effort to prove that it was in fact failing) as to not damage the compressor. He said he got a pre-authorization from the warranty company to replace the fan motor, and not too worry. Prior to talking to him I thought a little video insurance would be a good idea, so I took a two-shot video of the thermostat, noted the time and dysfunction, as well as the sound the unit outside was making and how the fan was barely operating at all.
Surely enough, he again arrived within 30 minutes as he said he would, and replaced the fan motor. The fact that he got the pre-auth, and saved the hassle of having to prove anything to the lovely home warranty company in that short period of time is nothing short of outstanding. Now, the unit runs great, makes no noise, and our house isn't a sauna. Thanks Number One! Look no further folks, the team at Number One really is the best.

My 20-year-old gas water heater started leaking from the bottom this morning and needed to be addressed immediately! Luckily I connected with this technician, he explained the situation, sent him a couple of pictures of the tank, and he promptly called me back with a fair estimate to which I agreed. Nice job.
