I had a difficult slow draining kitchen sink that I could not clear on my own. Tried everything...products, plunging...no luck. Decided to call in the pros. Moses from MRP Plumbing & Rooter Services arrived on time, gave a free estimate, I said “go ahead”. Not an inexpensive fix, but comparable to competitors, and fair, given I was unable to fix on my own. Moses was knowledgeable, friendly, and, most importantly, confident he could clear the drain. Needed a quick fix to resolve a leak. My tech from Pacific Discount Plumbing was very responsive over text and we had a quote and an appointment in the first 30 minutes. He was over the next day and the offending pipe was removed, dried, and replaced within the hour. He is very professional, polite, and answered our questions on future maintenance. I would recommend Pacific Discount Plumbing for those who need a certified plumber to help them out.

Drainage pipe for kitchen did not have a cap on it when it was built so it leaked when backed up. We found the leak and had to wait a week without our kitchen for them to come and just put a cap on the pipe. They can't put a cap on a pipe as it leaked a few hours after the cap was placed from the cap they placed. Called them back to come fix it but since it was Friday they said they don't work the weekends and they'd come Monday. Even after I insisted they still wouldn't come until Monday. Very disappointed in their service.

Good customer service and expert plumber.

Richards Rooter and Plumbing has great reviews but my experience was disappointing. First, it was $250 to even come to our apartment building (which would then be applied towards the repair.) Then it was $750 (so an additional $500) to cut open the wall and find the leak, even though I correctly identified where the hot water pipe was leaking based on feeling a warm spot on the wall.

Richard suggested a temporary clamp for another $500 (though he said it’d be free if it didn’t work) and coming back to fix it the next day (it was 2:30pm). I asked if it could just be fixed today and had to leave for an appointment and he set about cutting open more of the wall to see the extent of the corrosion. By the time I came back at 4:30pm, he’d put on the temporary clamp which didn’t fully stop the leak (still requesting $500 for it) and said he could fix it at 9am for $2000 with the clamp $500 going towards it (so $1500 more).

I felt like the charges were really high, especially since water was still leaking into the units below. The way Richard seemed more focused on getting paid than actually fixing the leak made me feel like he was taking advantage of the situation and didn’t seem to care about water dripping into people’s homes.

Later that evening, another resident called their own plumber unbeknownst to me and had him fix the leak that night (for $600). I texted Richard as soon as I learned of this so as not to waste his time and he got a little salty, texting things like “And we have a contract if that means anything to you” even though he only wrote an estimate for the repair.

All in all, Richard was available, communicative, and showed up when called, but he was ineffective, expensive, and then snarky when he didn’t get his way. He couldn’t fix two pinhole leaks (even temporarily) for $1250. He would have charged an additional $1500 to do a job that someone else did for $600. I only hope my experience informs others.

WORST experience with a plumber ever. Did not pull the permit that we told EZ Roth plumbing that we needed for an inspection with the city of Los Angeles. Costing us a lot of money in re inspection fees. After we paid another contractor to pull the permit and 3 months after the furnace was installed EZ Roth plumbing finally pulled a permit because they knew they could not get paid without it and of course at this point it was useless as we already had to pay the other contractor to pull the permit so we could finally pass our inspection. When EZ Roth plumbing installed the furnace it was failing to light because the installer had bentdamaged the pilot light. I had to fix it. Rude and Unprofessional.

Called me back in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend ninja plumber to my friends and family anytime.

I have been using E & J for years now and they are so efficient but more importantly they are honest. I sit on the board of our HOA and we recommend to all residents/owners to use E & J in our 87 unit building. They are insured, experienced and will give a fair price for any job you have. I highly recommend Jose and his team.

They were quite kind each time we called. We were not let down in the same manner that so many others had been! Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. Went out of their way to help us with our pool plumbing repair! Thank you very much!

Excellent service

INCOMPETENT and UNETHICAL are the two best words to describe my experience with Morganized Plumbing and its owner, Morgan Spiegel.

Morganized cut the water lines to my house without my authorization. Morgan personally admitted to me that he knew what he did was wrong, but justified his actions by saying that the neighbor who asked him to do it was a long-standing client of his, and she didn't like the fact that my water pipes were visible. How crazy is that? It sounds like he is saying that he can be bribed or persuaded to do anything?

Morgan also lied to my tenants about how long the water would be off, by saying that it would only be a short while. However, due to screw-ups by Morgan and his guys, the water was off for the bulk of the day. When the water finally was turned back on, there was so much dirt and mud in the lines that it literally took two hours to flush them out because Morgan's incompetent plumbers also somehow let the debris flow into the water heater.

My tenants had to cancel their plans on a Friday night and stay home, while Morgan removed the debris that he let enter the line. Morgan promised to compensate my tenants for all of the inconveniences he caused, but then refused to honor his agreement.

I would never entrust Morgan and his incompetent guys to work on my house, as he clearly lacks both skill and integrity.

There are much better options for plumbers, so I highly suggest that you save yourself the heartache and disappointment, and go with a different plumber.

Richard and MAtthew were so great! Can on time, fixed the toilet and the regulator and we just wonderful to work with. They looked thru the whole house to be sure all other things were working right and did fina another issue that we'll deal with. Found a long term plumber for me!

Very rude during customer service, they rush over things to get it done. They never came back to finish my toilet .

BEWARE: They will rip your elderly family off!!!!

My mom called Ford's Plumbing and Heating to check out an old manifold heating system. Long story short, the techs who showed up said that they don't work on manifold heating systems and charged a $99 service call fee for coming out.

To make matters worse, my mom asked them for a quote on a toilet install while they were out there. They must have been licking their chops when they quoted $1660 for a 1-piece toilet and install. Unbelievable! My mom unfortunately paid the $99 service call fee, and I installed the toilet myself for $425 in about 30 minutes.
