Use With Caution! It is not my practice to leave reviews. However, I contacted this company today and spoke with Brian, the office phone person. I was interested in having some sewer line service performed. Before hiring this company, it was important to ask normal business questions about their plumbing service so that I could make an informed decision. After asking only a few questions, such as 1). What is the charge (Brian explained to me what to expect with the price)? 2). Is the company insured? (Brian seemed very bothered by this question) 3). Is there a warranty on work performed, and 4). When is payment due? Brian was disturbed and ask me if I wanted them to come out in a pushy fashion. He was very uncomfortable and irritated to answer my questions. I replied that I was trying to get information to make an informed decision. I requested to talk with Mr. Wiggy (since office people do not always represent the owners well), and he placed me on hold and quickly the phone hung up. I called back to see if he intended to hang up or was it an accident, and he said he did not hang up. Again, I was asked if I wanted them to come out. I asked to talk with Mr. Wiggy, and he told me that this time he was going to hang up on me. Hanging up on a potential customer who is not rude in any way is very unacceptable.
**The take away is that this company has been in business 30 years, according to Brian, and in my opinion... the company is All About The Money!!! Professionalism and customer care/service are seriously lacking, so much so, that as I was only trying to have an intelligent conversation with him about the services and their business practices, and what to expect if I hired them, he told me that I was grilling him. According to Brian, he has been with the company 5 years. So surely by now, one would think, that receiving common business questions presented by a customer would be the norm, as well as, addressing them in a professional manner and the company taking the opportunity to leave the best possible impression with a potential customer. One would think,... but that was not the case with Wiggy's plumbing. Be careful potential customers. Proceed with caution!
