Although a bit pricey, these guys were AWESOME!. The Norman tornado (Sunday) left me without power for 3 days to the point I had to go get a generator. The problem was that I had no way of hooking it up to my house. I called Barnett Electrical and spoke to James (a good omen). I am also named James lol. He said he could have someone out that afternoon (Tuesday). They ended up arriving at around 11 am. Sam and his colleague were great. Knowledgeable, tidy, and efficient. They came in a truck fully loaded with everything they needed. Sam walked me through the options and even recommended a new surge protector that comes with a $75k guarantee. For me, that is very important as I run a lot of computers and hard drives with priceless video footage and photos I have taken over 24 years. He looked at my generator and knew exactly what I needed. We ran through the quote, agreed, and he began work. Sam and his colleague finished in just over an hour. The photos speak for themselves. Fantastic job, guys. Thanks to Barnett, I am now ready for the next power outage. Not too soon, I hope. HIGHLY recommend Barnett Electrical.

Omar came out and installed a 240 volt connection for a new Tesla in my garage. He also added a generator transfer switch for emergency power at my house. Outstanding service from this company.I had an emergency electrical problem that in my mind needing to be taken care the same day. Yes, they were able to scheduled a visit to my place only 2hrs after getting off the phone. Now that is a 5 stars service. Dallas was great on the phone in setting the appointment. Lane your technician arrived on time and what a professional guy he is with great integrity. Follow up to my previous review...We did need to have a replacement. We were over the top pleased with Barnett Electrical Heating and Air!! First of all, the initial appointment was on time, thorough and timely. We received a quote within hours of the assessment with THREE options that would serve us. We picked an option and we received an appointment for 2 days later. On install day, they were on time also! They allowed 2 days for the job but they were finished in one. Our house hasn't felt this good in SEVERAL years. To think, I just googled A/C repair near me on a Sunday morning and had new and cool air that Thursday, start to finish! I now have a friend calling Barnett for an assessment because I have raved about how great their customer service was and how great a job they did!Previous Review:We were very happy with the quickness of getting an appointment and their promptness at showing up. We were also very pleased with the detail in the final information and estimates. Just frustrated we have to get a new unit...which has nothing to do with Barnett Electrical. :-)

I made an oops and fried an outlet. It lit up like a Christmas tree. Killed the power in both home offices! BES was here and gone in less than two hours from the time I called and on a Friday! Whoever answered the phone was wonderful and our technician was twice that. We’ll be using their services for all our needs/concerns and future updates/services required. 10/10 :)

Great experience! Needed electrician last minute due to a kitchen project, but not an emergency. I received a call when they were on the way and a text showing a picture of the person coming to my house. They sent Richard out same day. He was super personable and knowledgeable. I will be using them for any future needs!

I spoke with a representative over the phone to schedule an appointment with Barnett to vacuum test and pressurize a mini duct system. The representative stated that was something Barnett electricians could do.The electricians came and looked at everything and said they could easily complete the test but would have to send photos to their supervisor for a cost estimate. The supervisor quoted a price of $2,800, just to test 2 systems!!! I realize we’re in the middle of summer, but that seems excessively high. They still charged a $69 service fee. While the technicians were professional, I would not recommend Barnett.

I simply needed a breaker replaced. But I was told I needed to have the entire breaker panel relocated, rewiring, grouding, etc. at the cost of $7k (lowest estimate) and $9k (highest). What happened to the days of doing a job you are being asked to do, not TELLING the customer what job you think they should have done. When I sell my house I will do a complete electrical overhaul at that time if required. But not with Barnett, sorry guys. You just got $69 from me for your service call, but you didn't earn it.

Barnett Electrical is a stellar company! They made room in the schedule to get a tech out very fast when we had issues with power loss on a hot summer day. The technician, Sam, was thorough and explained everything in a lot of detail! He also made sure the power company made repairs that were causing the issue! So thankful for this quality company and stellar customer service, especially being new to the area as a military family!

Richard was on time to our appointment, and then immediately found the issue with my AC and corrected it. He even went above and beyond to provide recommendations for other electrical issues he noticed in the process, and included quotes for bringing everything up to code. He did not pressure me to correct any of the other issues today, and he really seemed to care about the safety regulations, which I appreciate! I highly recommend him, and will be using Barnett Electrical Heating and Air for all future electrical repairs.

Sam was incredible. He showed up on time, took his time listening to my numerous items that I needed done (EV charger, pool pump panel, outlet repair, etc), and wrote up an estimate that gave me several different options based on budget. He knew all the codes pertaining to my work and his work was beautifully done. I couldn’t ask for me. This will definitely be new go-to company for electrical and HVAC.

We've never had to use electric service before but they did amazing. Pricing was very upfront with no surprise fees. Less than 2 hours later and we are back to normal. Richard was very personable and explained what was wrong and what he was going to. Need. to do to fix it. He gave us recommendations to things we'd need to update in the future.

Dustin came out to do a tune up on my AC unit. He cleaned all the debris that were on the back side of the unit, tested all of my levels on the unit among other things. He was very professional, called ahead to let me know he was on his way to my home and letting me know how long until he arrived. Highly recommend this young man.

I was having some issues with a couple switches and outlets in my house. I called Monday afternoon when they had no open availability and had a tech out to my house first thing Tuesday morning. Had them out to give a quote for install, showcased some other defects in safety inspection that weren’t pressing but could use repair in future. Super quick repair time. Appreciate the non-pushiness for the major repairs and have multiple avenues on quote for electrical assembly installation. Will use them going forward for electrical repairs.

Richard and Shawn provided advice to install a home generator, whole home surge protection system, and low voltage landscaping lighting. They both were very responsive and totally professional in response to all of the many questions I asked. I needed a hot water booster wired to my breaker box, so I read some reviews and called Barnett Electrical. The person I spoke with was friendly, helpful, and dispatched someone within the hour.Daylen and Mason arrived promptly and were phenomenal. Both of them were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The plumber I had hired to install the booster on my water heater had failed to install the wiring harness, and had also installed it in an all-but-inaccessible spot. Despite this, Daylen and Mason went the extra mile to figure out a solution and got me squared away.It’s not often that I’m impressed enough to write a review, but I could seriously not be happier with my overall experience with Barnett Electrical.

I’m usually on here leaving reviews where I’m a little unhappy but let me tell you, I was so pleased with the service we received from Barnett. We called because we smelled an electrical burning and they had Omar out within thirty minutes. He was so awesome and helped us understand what had happened and did a great electrical inspection. Bill my service tech, was the most knowledgeable, experienced and friendly Electrican we have ever used. It is a brand new unit that was installed in August 2022, but because I did not move in until 2023, it had not been turned on. This gave me peace of mind that all was working well. I also purchased their customer plan. I cannot thank Barnett and Dustin enough for always being so responsive. I plan to use them foe all my electrical and HVAC needs. Sergio was great! Fast and professional. He actually made our install better than we had envisioned. Made quick work of the installation of our transfer switch and installed canless lights with a precision that I definitely couldn’t have done myself. His apprentice Lorance was also professional and friendly. They double and triple checked before drilling any holes and had me fire up the generator to make sure the transfer switch was working I found the company that I will be getting ALL of my electrical work done through. Our furnace stopped heating during the night. Called around 8AM, and someone was at our home by noon. Dustin spent about 15 min. in the attic checking out our unit and gave us a diagnosis, ran to get the part and we were back up and running in about an hour! Very thankful for their expertise (feel like most would just recommend a replacement of an old unit).

My wife and I bought a pair of space heaters. We plugged both of them in the same room, but on different outlets. The power went out, and was not restored, despite resetting all the breakers. This was around 5:30 PM. I was looking up electricians to call for the next day to handle the repair and saw that Barnett Electrical Services was open 24 hours. I decided to call and explain my situation. Jordyn was the person who picked up. Before she even suggested sending over a tech, she walked me through on how to remedy the problem. She took took the time, and had the patience to help me locate the GFI outlet, followed by instructions to reset it, along with my breaker panel. That did remedied the problem when my previous methods did not. Everything was troubleshooted over the phone. So very much appreciated that I'm leaving my very first Google review

Had an electrician come out to get a quote for future electrical work involving battery backup and solar. The electrician was honest and upfront and let me know that their team didn't have the expertise to perform the installation. I truly appreciate the honesty and not being strung along.

I googled local electricians and Barrett’s came up with many highly rated reviews and they are all accurate! I have plans for remodeling my house and I got some great help and advice. Bill was very pleasant and professional. It took him very little time to replace some complex light switches, inspect the full house electrical, and do so much more. I will be using them again for my future projects!

I have used many different electricians over the years. Barnett’s just moved to the head of the class. Very thorough, extremely professional. The tech, Omar, was so knowledgeable, answering all questions. Next time I use Barnett. I will be requesting that send out Omar again.

Sergio was an excellent technician! We deal with many good and bad contractors with the upkeep of our office building. Our experience with Barnett Electrical started with Dallas who was beyond helpful in getting us on the schedule as quickly as possible. Sergio showed up on time for both appointments and each time was efficient and very kind. We will be using them again in the future for an electrical needs.

I requested their services to install a LED kitchen light that I was having difficulty with installing myself. They were very quick to come out and get it installed correctly. They did a safety inspection to see what would be need brought up to code and left me a detailed estimate of anything that they recommend be upgraded. Great guys. Bill came over ON TIME and called ahead to be sure I was home. He had a look at my problem with my ground rods, and was able to determine I might not need to have anything done but offered to even help me dig up my pavers in the back to make it easier to find for an inspector. Once we realized nothing was going to need to be done he didn’t even charge me for the visit! Really appreciate the help guys!

Richard is very knowledgeable electrical journeyman, professional, and a great crew leader for the three apprentice helpers who worked on our home. Richard conducted a safety assessment/investigation of my circuits to determine problems. I have 1972 home with aluminum wiring. I had a burned wire in the panel that another electrician replaced but did not make time to repair my troublesome kitchen circuits. Barnett Home Services has a $69 service charge to investigate problems and charges by the job once problems or recommendations are agreed upon. Barnett Electrical Services was quick to respond to my requests for service. The work took about a day and a half to complete multiple upgrades and repairs to include running new circuits. The work was expensive, but the $69 service charge was waved. Cleanup of jobs was conducted. I have confidence that my home is less likely to burn up and I would recommend Richard, representative of Barnett Electrical Services, for any home rewiring jobs.

Richard did a wonderful job of installing fans and routing electricity to our newly built pergola. He did it in a way with minimal amount of wiring showing. What does show we will paint to blend it in with our pergola. Courteous, knowledgeable, and conscientious. Our landscaping company that we used did not get back with us to make sure their electrician followed through. Landscaping guy was wonderful there, but they fell short with the project manager. Dustin & Brandon were quick & helpful with our annual furnace tune up! They also sent me a quote for a new furnace platform since ours is looking a little weak, we’ll definitely be using them when we replace it!

My mom was at my house when they came. She said the techs were incredibly friendly and nice. But their costs were outrageous. For replacing 4 LED flush lights, (when I had the lights already) cost me $573. That’s just nuts. $573 for replacing 4 lights when the lights were provided to them and all they had to do was wire them in. $126 per light plus the visit charge. My mom approved the work so I’ll eat this but that’s just a ridiculous amount to charge for replacing 4 lights.

I use this company a few times, and each time they have been very upfront with cost and are willing to do the job on the same day. Big shout out to Richard and Mason for being efficient and transparent with the job.They listened to my requests and honored them. The total cost also was cheaper than expected so that is a huge plus.

Wow, it is rare in today's day and age to find exceptional quality work let alone customer service and top notch care. I had planned on having 2 outlets brought up to code unfortunately I have had nothing but headaches buying a 1941 home and this issue while beyond repair due to electrical code and compliance issues with the home I need a Ton more work than I expected. Just not able to do right now due to other insurance claims, costs, etc. Needless to say while they were not able to do the work the owner said they would not charge me which I agreed to pay and had no problem paying, they waived the service call fee after the technician was here for over an hour and a half. Needless to say they have earned a life time customer in the future and anyone else I will highly recommend them to as well. I had an electrical safety concern after a light switch and outlet failure occurred, at my home, in the evening. Barnett Electric came in the evening, completed a general diagnostic and stayed until my home was considered safe for the evening. They returned early the next morning and began upgrading my electrical system to code and completed all necessary repairs. We originally hired them to install new LEDs for our bar. We had a high powered fan switch break on Monday while waiting for their services, I called and they just added it to the order the day of and were able to get our fan back up and running before the weekend. They did a great job, they came in under on all the quotes i got. The team that was sent was nice and explained everything and even offered advice. They made suggestions and told me thing I needed to have done. They did not push upgrades they just suggested them and then went back to what i requested allowing me time to google and decide. Andrew was supposed to give me an estimate on the job right after the walk-around. He was quick to charge a $59 fee for it; to my astonishment he left without providing an estimate and now, over 48 hours after the visit, I haven’t heard from Barnett Electric, no estimate, no follow-up.I was sold on the positive reviews and rating, but it is likely deceiving.I am willing to revise my review if Barnett Electric makes up to me.

I have had these guys out to the house multiple times for really big projects (a panel upgrade) and smaller issues (repairing a can light). They are awesome. Good, hardworking crew of professionals who show up, are responsive, and know what they are doing. Shout out to Sam for giving us guidance on some of our electrical projects. I called them on a Thursday and they had availability the next Monday in the morning. They took care of everything the same day. It's good to know financing is available if unexpected costs pop up. They give you a quote before they start any work and the work is done efficiently.

Andrew, along with Garrett and Mason, completed a large job at my house. They removed an old electrical panel and relocated the wiring to another panel which they also replaced and updated. This review is not about an actual technical service provided but about the customer service that saved me unnecessary cost! My electricity went off and I thought it was another outage like we experienced last week in our neighborhood but when I reported it, OG&E called and said it was not their service. I tried flipping all the breakers and nothing worked. I called and got Jordan. She was very personable and after I explained the issue and what we've done, she explained they have a tech that can come and the pricing, which is the weekend and considered an emergency call so it is understandably going to be a higher service call. Jordan then, instead of just scheduling and sending someone, said ... let's make sure you've reset the breaker because sometimes that main one can be really tough and you have to put your body weight into it.... I called my son and had him try it...apparently I didn't give it enough umph to turn all the way off then back on... he did.... and we now have electricity! When most companies would just send someone, even knowing that it could be something that simple, Barnett's did not. I am beyond appreciative of the friendly and professional customer service Jordan provided by helping to troubleshoot my issue before sending someone and paying unnecessary cost. I didn't explain this to Jordan, but our family had experienced a medical emergency with our family pet this week that cost us a couple thousand dollars and we are providing palliative care for our sweet Jellybean at home right now. This really meant more to us than a simple breaker reset. I didn't need their technical service today but they did earn a future customer for when I do. From calling in to get an appointment setup to having them visit our house for the repair, all of my interactions with Barnett Electrical Services were great. The electrician that came to our house was Sam. He was very friendly, super professional and extremely thorough as well as efficient. We really appreciated the work that he did for us and will definitely look to use them again in the future!

It didn’t start off good by a no show no call but after expressing my displeasure one of the owners called and apologized and had a tech out the next day and waived the service fee. There weren’t any parts needed but if there were the owner said he would work out a good deal. We all make mistakes and we should attempt to correct them, Barnett more than did, definitely recommend, 5 stars.

I only received a safety inspection (highly recommended when buying a house) which only requires a $69 dispatch fee. Andrew was professional and provided me with multiple options to bring my home up to code. I appreciated his expert opinion and being real with me.Unfortunately it is too expensive to do the required repairs/replacements ($11,000-$30,000). They do offer financing at 0% interest (I think he said 6, 12, and 18 month options are available) with approved credit of course. I’m happy with the information I received, I just don’t have the extra $11,000+ or an extra $800 a month to do even the minimum required work.Edit: Andrew was sent back due to losing power to my ring doorbell and my microwave. The microwave worked fine plugged in elsewhere, and the last video on the doorbell was Andrew coming inside with a ladder to get into the attic last week. I assumed a wire was accidentally knocked loose in the attic when the inspection was done. Andrew didn’t find anything wrong with wires in the attic today and left with the microwave and doorbell still not getting power.Sergio was sent out about an hour after Andrew left today. Sergio went above and beyond to figure out the problem and to get power back to the microwave and the doorbell. There was a wire knocked loose in the attic for the doorbell, but my microwave was due to a whole different plug not being done correctly. (THIS IS MY WARNING FOR BUYING FLIPPED HOUSES). Sergio and his guy still fixed it! They really didn’t have to, but I greatly appreciate that they did!!Once I have the funds to get the whole house rewired and up to code, I definitely plan on using Barnett Electrical Services! After contacting two other companies to repair one of our main kitchen lights (one of which wouldn’t call back and the other told me to wait on the repair until my kitchen remodel starts in a few months and don’t invite people over so they don’t notice the hole in my ceiling), I called Barnett Electrical because of their good reviews. Daylen came out the next day, on time, professional, fairly estimated the repair and got the work done, all in about 3 hours. I was in dire straights during the very cold snap we had last week! First, the response time was excellent! But with the problems I had it could not be repaired right away and couldn't give me a quote because it already dark time. But Sam, re-routed power to my fridge that day. Thatwas awesome! He returned the next day to give me a quote. I did not shop for pricing, after I got the estimate for the repairs because of the can do attitude from Sam. Second, to make the major repairs, he and his apprentice were out in freezing weather for 7 hours!! All power was restored! Sam returned a day later to finish the job. Another 4 hours in freezing weather! I can't express the gratitude for their efforts.He cared that I was going to be comfortable because of his expertise. I will use Barnett Electrical again for any electrical work I need done! In the meantime, I have recommended them to 3 other friends that needed work! Kudos! OMAR and ANDREW did an excellent job replacing our old unsafe zinsco panel today! They were very friendly and patient with our dog and kiddos. They worked hard and stayed late to ensure we would have heat after a recent storm fried our box. They also were very helpful answering any questions that we had. I really appreciate the fact that they do not cut corners when it comes to the safety and integrity of your electrical system. Also the quote they give is the price you pay... so you know exactly what you are getting and exactly what it costs. Our new panel is very neatly wired and organized with custom labels... 1000% better than the mess of a box we had! You get what you pay for and Barnett does it right!

I chose Barnett Electric because I felt Omar was very competent and treated my wife and I with respect. You could set your watch by their timeliness. If they were running a few minutes late they called and texted to make sure we we informed of their arrival time. Over the 4 days it took to do the job everyone ( about 6 different guys)bent over backwards to get the job done right. Even though they were not the cheapest estimate I got, it was because of their attitudes and work ethics that would have me to hire them again.

Barnett Electrical was awesome! Richard and Cade were fantastic, they were on time, friendly and courteous. They installed a ground wire for my home, relocated two outlets as part of a kitchen remodel and replaced a switch as well. I had asked them to do some other replacements and they were open and honest with me that in order to do that it would require a major update to my panel for code reasons and would be extremely expensive. Overall I am incredibly happy with their work, and appreciate their open, honest and forthright manners. They also took the time to show me what they had done, relabeled my panel appropriately and kindly cleaned up my garage when they were done. If you need electric services Barnett is a great choice! He was very by the book, followed a strict set of guides, and was clear on what he can and cannot do due to company policy/legal dilemma that enabled me to trust him with ease, I'm normally skeptical of workers in my home. In fact, when he noticed our previous electrician didn't post a service date on our circuit breaker box, Omar provided a courtesy inspection to ensure everything was up to code. Fortunately for me, because he found unresolved issues that the previous electrician left due to taking shortcuts. Barnett's costs are reasonable and whenever I need further assistance I plan on requesting Omar specifically.

Today Sergio and Garrett came by my house to upgrade my panel to 200 Amp service, by far these were the two best electricians I'va ever worked with. Barnett is privileged to have these two working for them. I am beyond happy with all the work that was done and can't express enough how great it was to work with James who got everything started for me, Sergio who made it all happen, and Garrett for helping to execute the final product.

These people are genuine! Ryan and Richard worked relentlessly for two days brining our electrical system up to code and replacing our old electrical panel. They also suggested and installed a surge protector and a generator plug. They were professional and yet so friendly. They worked together like clock-work. They are super knowledgeable and concise. And, when the job was complete, they left no mess behind. One more thing that impressed me with these two young men, was how they interacted with my 97 year old dad that lives with me. Although my dad can't hear, they stopped and talked with him regarding the work being done and even about basketball. It made my dad feel involved and informed. That meant a lot to me. I called Barnett at nearly 5pm because most, but not all, of my electricity went out in my house. I had wet clothes in the dryer and a just filled refrigerator. I spoke to a very nice lady named Lydia. She listened to me and I could tell that she really wanted to help me. Very quickly after we spoke, I received a call from the on call electrician, Ryan. He asked me a bunch of questions and diagnosed the problem over the phone to be an OG&E problem. Then he spent time explaining it to me so that I could communicate with OG&E and get the issue resolved as quickly as possible. He could have come here, charged me for the after hours service call, and then left me still needing to go to OG&E, but he took the time to call, diagnose, and explain so that he could save me money. He was incredibly nice and explained in a way that I could understand. This isn’t my first experience with this company and they have all been extremely positive. They are and will be my “go to” electric service company. Thank you Lydia and Ryan!

Barnett's customer service is exceptional. They have done several small projects for us. Their work has always been top notch and their prices fair. They always answer the phone when you call, and they get your job scheduled quickly. Sergio and Nick were always on time. They were polite and professional. They worked very neatly, covering cabinets, etc., to prevent collateral damage, and they cleaned up their “mess.” In fact, they left everything cleaner than they found it! You expect good work from a good company, but the difference between a good company and a great company, in my opinion, is customer service, and Barnett is remarkable. The first job we had with them was installing an exhaust vent. We did not give them specifications for the vent, so they installed what they thought suitable. Afterwards, we decided it wasn’t powerful enough. They came back and installed a more highly-rated vent, which involved considerably more work (larger duct work, etc.), but they charged us only the price difference for the more powerful unit. They could not have been nicer or easier to work with. The quality of the workmanship coupled with outstanding customer service earns them my enthusiastic recommendation. We will definitely be using them again.

When I called Barnett Electrical Services about an issue with a light in the dining area of my house, I was greeted by James in a friendly manner and immediately added to the schedule for a next day appointment. Andrew, the technician, arrived on time. He was friendly and professional. He diagnosed the problem and explained the work that needed to be completed, including the price. He also answered a couple of electrical questions that I had outside of this job and took time to do a safety inspection, making minor suggestions. Used them twice, highly professional. Probably expensive to some extent, but we have been happy with the their work so far!The only issue this second time was they did not have us on their schedule on the day they were supposed to come (after making an appointment over the phone) - this everything got delayed by almost 3-4 weeks. Also, when they actually arrived, they gave us the morning time frame and came later in the day, so they could not complete their work on the same day, needing another visit the next week, this essentially meant me taking a day off from work twice instead of once. Just wished this was handled a little better.

After the recent ice storm, I had cables down in the yard. I thought one of them was the electric cable. Barnett's costumer service, even just calling to set up an appointment, was the best I experienced. I was placed on a two week wait list due to the amount of damage in our area. Barnett's contacted me and was able to get out in half the time estimated! My technicians, Richard and Grant, where professional, courteous, and patient with my questions. Fortunately, things were in better shape than expected. I appreciate that they were honest and didn't try to upsale me on services, but did describe services Barnett's offers I might be interested in the future. Thanks Richard and Grant!!!

We needed to upgrade our electrical panel to have upcoming work done. The appointment was easy to make and they came out right away. They were very courteous and answered all my questions. The panel was installed well and looks nice. A military discount also helped keep costs down.

I called them and had them come to Norman to restore power to an outlet. The guy got there the next day. Bill was awesome. He came in, explained the pricing and got to work. Had it fixed in 45 minutes. Was super polite and explained everything in detail.Only problem I had with this company was that I asked for an estimate when I called after explaining my problem in detail. The person who scheduled me said the person who was sent out would assess pricing after coming out for 70$. When Bill got here, he had labeled pricing depending on the problem, which tells me the person answering calls could have given me a fairly accurate estimate. This is the only problem. Otherwise, everything was great and I am very happy with the work done.

I asked Barnett Electrical Services to upgrade the overhead electrical entrance, weather head, distribution panel and grounding for the house. They replaced the existing overhead service to the garage with an underground conduit. They also rewired and installed lights, switches and receptacles in part of the house and garage. Andrew was polite, professional and walked me through everything before and after installation. I am very happy with the work.

They did a great job, arrived early, and had a fair price. The tech showed up about 15 minutes early and acted professionally and nice the whole time. Very good experience. As promised by the scheduler yesterday, my technician was to arrive between 8a and noon. At 8:02a I received a call from Bill who gave me a 25-30 minute window of arrival and he stayed true to his word. He assessed the situation and quickly fixed the burnt wire that caused the whole kitchen to go out. Bill couldn’t have been more courteous, professional, or efficient with his time.While I enjoy flat rate pricing, I felt like that the actual work done was a little on the expensive side, but taking into account I received an appointment in under 24 hours with exceptional service AND some advice about a separate situation, everything worked out to my satisfaction, so no complaints here. I’ll certainly use Barnett in the future.

Lane and Richard did a great job replacing our outdated service panel. They arrived on time and finished when they said they would. Lane explained to me all what he was doing and why and performed in a very professional manner. I sleep better at night knowing the electrical service to our 43 year old house is now up to the current standards and codes.

To the man, these guys are the absolute best, but one clear standout is Bill. Do yourself a favor and ask for him. The price was competitive and every time I called the office to set something up, they were able to be clear and concise about the services and scheduling. The schedule to work was quick. We had a very long list of needs and wants. Sean our technician was very methodical in working through our electrical needs and then our wants. Sean was here when he said he would be, was professional and mindful of our children. The areas were cleaned up once the work was done and attic access doors locked. I called Barnett Electrical approx a month ago to repair power loss to 2 rooms of my moms house. They went above and beyond the norm and resolved the issue. Yesterday, 8/04/2020, my mom called me, after 5pm, and informed me that she had the same issue again in the same location. I contacted them and they fit her in their schedule early the next afternoon. They came out and had the issue fixed in a very short time. They stood by their work and didn't charge her for this repair. She said they were very nice and told her not to hesitate to call if it happened again. Unfortunately she didn't remember the techs names. I have never encountered such an awesome group of people. I would give them 10 stars if it were possible.....on second thought I DO give them 10 stars!! I highly recommend these guys!!!

Several of the team members came to help with a repair of a fallen electrical pole which ripped the meter and cables off my house! They had a full crew with all the necessary equipment to my house in just a couple hours and stayed until I had power again. The neighborhood was a mess and they were able to get the job knocked out like it was nothing. Super friendly team and they communicated with me every step of the way. Omar and Lane did an excellent job of listening to what I wanted and explaining what they needed to do to make that happen.I will say that the pricing model, which they explained to me was a fixed price based on the type of work I was requesting, was what I would consider expensive. I am not an electrician, I have never needed an electrician before, and I am in no way suggesting that they price they gave me was unreasonable. It was just what I would consider expensive. For anyone curious I needed to get a new wall socket installed for my dryer, this is an old house that was designed for gas and didn’t have the socket I needed, and it ended up costing me $674 including the service charge.Other than that they did a super good job, and I’m very pleased with the timing and quality of work. They even went a step beyond and hooked up and tested my dryer for me, so that I knew it worked like I wanted before they left.If I ever need electrical work again I will most definitely be going with this company.

During the October 2020 heavy ice storm, our power line and riser came off the house, and our power line dropped due to heavy ice. Barnett Electrical was quick to respond, give an estimate, and get the job going. Sergio S., Dustin S , and Kyle P. did a great job on our electrical panel upgrade and restoring power for us. I called up Barnett Electrical Services because I needed a power source installed for my hot tub that was going on my patio. They were able to come out the next day and start the install. The electrician was very professional and knowledgeable. They were able to get and outlet installed in no time at all and at a great price! I was able to get my hot tub hooked up and going. He drove from Edmond to Shawnee during the COVID-19 pandemic and fixed a smoking outlet for our family on a last minute basis after I made seven other calls that either would not or could not provide the service. Ryan used PPE and was very health conscious which was a major plus. The company seems very professional and I felt confident the job was done right. Another electrician made an appointment and then postponed and then cancelled. I called Barnett Electrical Services because that was the first one that showed up when I googled, and I needed someone fast. They answered on the first ring and were at my house the next day. We had them install 9 light fixtures. They gave us an estimate up front, and when they ran into trouble, they let us know clearly what was wrong and how much it would be to fix it. Sam was very professional and obviously knows what he’s doing. Quality work - I definitely recommend these guys, and will use them again if I need an electrician.

Daylan replaced a driver for one of our LED light strips under a cabinet! His first visit he shared two options with the cost of each! We made our decision and he installed it! We had yard lights installed a few months ago by Barnett Services and were very happy with the work. During the last major rainstorm, our yard lights stopped working. We called them and they sent Ryan out that day. Turns out it was moisture on the sensor. Ryan patiently explained what the problem was and then proceeded to show us how to reset the system should it happen again. We've been nothing but pleased with this company.

Highly recommend Barnett Electrical Services. They moved the electric panel in my house last June and ran electric to a building in the back. They did excellent work and honor the work they do. Technicians were able to come a day earlier than expected. They were very professional and completed voltage checks for power on all circuits. Spoke with someone named Mike Barnett. Was very helpful at first... Could not even get them to come out and look at the job (even offered to pay a consultation fee, but was told it wasn't necessary). After a week of no emails he finally responded back to me after our initial conversation and requested photos...(again wouldn't come out to actually look at work needing to be done) after I sent him pictures I haven't heard anything and when I called the just give me the run around. UNLESS YOU WANT TO WAST YOUR TIME DON'T EVEN BOTHER CONTACTING THEM.

They did a great job. Everything looks neat and professional. They were prompt, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. Worked hard to get our electricity restored after the ice storm damaged our meter and riser. They had to move our panel out of the closet to bring it up to code. I will definitely use them again if I need an electrician.

Sergio and Dustin replaced the 'weatherhead' on my roof which was partially pulled out by a big heavy limb falling on a power line during the historic ice storm here in Oklahoma City. Both Sergio and Dustin were very nice, courteous and professional. It turned out that there was damage to the roof which I could not see so I really appreciated them letting me know. Hi, I've used Barnett Electrical Service for years now on all of our large commercial projects. Barnett has more than delivered on each and every project. Their service and workmanship is excellent. But most importantly is their diligence in completing projects on time. Contractors are notorious for missing deadlines and allowing projects to drag out. We just needed the pole the fuse box is on secured to the house. When i scheduled them to come out nothing was said about cost. Their website states: No Surprise Upfront Pricing.Never worry about the costs of service. We're one-hundred percent upfront about the cost of service and never add surprise charges.However when the really young guys showed up. And wrote up an estimate we were blown away with the cost. We were not ready to pay thousands of dollars. We said we couldn't afford that and one of the young guys, Bill Mclellan i believe, said there would be a $69.00 charge for them to just come out and take a look! So much for no surprise charges!

When I first saw this company and noticed it had received nothing but 5 stars I was some what hopeful. I usually end up choosing a company based off the reviews and being disappointed with their service. However, this wasn’t the case.I was remodeling my kitchen in my 40 year old house and to nobody’s surprise nothing was up to code. To make matters worse, after I swapped out all the outlets and switches I couldn’t get any of them to work. So I did what any normal struggling person would do and tried to YouTube the answer. I was shocked (literally) many times to no solution. So I called this highly reviewed company and they sent out someone within 2 hours.This guy named Derek came out of his van with all smiles and asked what the problem was. I explained everything and all my failed attempts to fixing it. He was calm and listened without interrupting me and at the end of my rant told me the problem. He pointed out all the problems with the old wiring and how my old breaker box couldn’t support the required amperage needed to power a modern house. At first I didn’t want to believe him but then he started showing me where I would need the extra outlets because all the codes and regulations require them within certain distances of sinks and oven tops. He broke down the bottom line price for me and said he could be out the next day to fix it.Derek and his crew arrived at 0800, like he said, and went straight to work. His team seemed knowledgeable but I’m really glad Derek was there. He corrected his team on multiple occasions and was able to teach them in the process. It was very impressive to watch. They would even indulge me and answer my questions when I was bored and wanted to learn something.When everything was done Derek made sure all the outlets and switches worked and looked neat. He also made sure every circuit breaker was working and relabeled everything for me.I can see why this company receives nothing but 5 stars. Moreover, I feel this company receives the rating they get because of their amazing employees. Called to say that could come several hours earlier if we were prepared and we were. Showed up professional in uniform very pleasant and conscientious. I am a general contractor and Hope to use their services many more times in the future.

Called Barnett Electric to schedule some work, day of our appointment comes, call to confirm and they no-showed. I should have billed them for making me miss work. Re-scheduled with them for October 9th, my wife stayed home this time because I had to be at work. Was told by the dispatcher they would show up fully stocked, quote the work, if we accepted the quote they would do the work immediately. Derek arrived at my house and I got on the phone with him to walk him through what needed to be done:4 existing outlets in kitchen (under remodel) replace old metal boxes with poly and replace standard outlets with GFCI, step down to 110 existing cooktop power under cabinet and install box/outlet, move one light switch over 1 stud, replace existing bathroom fan with new light/fan combo already purchased and sitting there, replace two outside outlets with weatherproof GFCI. He says he will get me a quote, tells my wife he has “another appointment he has to be at so he won’t be able to do the work that day.” He’ll need us to take off a third day, because he’s apparently double booked. I called the service manager immediately and explained this was unacceptable. Derek called me with an outrageously high quote, clearly trying to bid himself out of the job so he didn’t get pinched on the other appointment. At this point I have waited over 3 weeks on this company to do some simple electrical work and I cannot continue my remodel until it’s finished. I asked how much for just the kitchen work, we agreed on a price, I asked him to proceed and complete the kitchen work. Of the 4 outlets he only replaced 2. Charged my wife $652, used about $40 in parts. Derek started working in my kitchen at 9:55 am and my wife called when he left at 11:13 am. This company will waste your time and cheat you out of money, and leave the job unfinished. I called in 3 times, spoke to Marlin, tried to get them to come out and make it right. Nothing. Asked for Marlin to send me a copy of Derek’s license, nothing.

We had a lightning strike and it knocked out part of our power. Sam and Omar came out to look at everything and also found that water was leaking into our breaker box! They are honest and fair with pricing. Their Head of Residential New Construction, Dustin, was absolutely wonderful to work with in the construction of our new home. Richard and Bill did an amazing job at my moms house. She had a mess going on in her breaker panels and had some burned up wire. They replaced everything and moved it all into one breaker panel in one day they even worked into the evening to finish it. Super clean work can tell they take pride in their work. Sergio and Justin did an excellent job replacing my undercounter lighting. They were punctual, polite, did the job quickly and cleaned up after they finished. I would highly recommend this company.

I will preface this by saying the people were very nice, but my experience did not instill confidence that they know what they are doing or are interested in their customer's best interest. My main breaker kept tripping and was very hot so I called them out on a Friday evening. I paid $269 for an after hours service call and they told me it was just the way my box was configured and that I likely needed a new breaker box - but they did nothing to fix the issue. They quoted me over $4000 for a 100 amp box. I called a second electrician the next day when it tripped again, and he correctly diagnosed and tested the problem. Ended up being a bad main breaker, total cost was $317 to fix it. He also told me a new box would run about $2500 - much higher than Barnett quoted me.

Richard & Bill were able to come out within 24 hours after we called. We had a general inquiry about our electrical panel and if it could be the cause of our new A/C unit compressor going out. Turns out, we have the blacklisted, Federal Pacific, panel. Richard was very knowledgeable when explaining our options to us. Bill even called an HVAC guy to get some more info for us on what the possibilities could be with the panel, compressor, and disconnect box. As a realtor, they are definitely a company I’d recommend to my clients. Knowledgeable, professional, kind, and timely!

The recent ice storm caused tree limbs to rip the electrical drop from my house which lead to the damaging of the weather head and electrical main attached to my house. I was surprised when I was informed that my electrical system was not up to code and several things were considered “illegal” and even the breaker panel is “blacklisted” as a highly hazardous panel. I had to get the system replaced and brought up to code before OG&E would be able to reconnect my power. Barnett Electrical was able to get someone out quickly, albeit them being very busy with everyone else rushing for electricians to come out, and they were able to upgrade my entire system in one day. As someone who is very particular with how things look, I was VERY satisfied with the appearance of their work and everything looks clean! I would HIGHLY recommend Barnett Electrical if you’re in the need for any electrical work - I know I’ll be using them again if the need arises in the future.

Due to a trucking accident, the power wires connected to my house were ripped out, causing damage to my meter base and riser. I was without electricity for most of the day, so I called Barnett Electrical and they were quite prompt about coming out to replace the damaged equipment, even though it was after hours. However, even after they replaced the damaged equipment, I was still without electricity for the entire weekend after the city of Edmond had finished repairing the power lines along the street. I was later informed by the city of Edmond that Barnett Electrical had apparently installed the wrong type of meter, so they needed to pull permits. I immediately called Dustin at Barnett Electrical and he was most apologetic and said he would take care of the problem. He and Derek came out after hours to replace the meter...and within a short period of time, I had my electricity back on. Dustin told me that had made an honest mistake...and that he was very sorry that I was without electricity for the entire weekend. Anyway, I greatly respect a company that owns up to their mistakes and immediately takes care of the problem, even if it is after hours. Therefore, I will continue to use their services whenever I need electrical work done in the foreseeable future. They are definitely a top notch company!

Explained what they would be doing and cost for service, ask for my approval before procedeing with work. During installation of ceiling lights they ran a test so I would have an idea of how they would look before final install. Could not have been more pleased with the job they did and the clean up performed after instrallation. Only small issue is more of a company policy than job satisfaction. I purchased the lights I wanted installed and if I am not mistaken I was surcharged for uising them. If I am mistaken about surcharge I applogize. Other than that great experience. Thanks.

We had an issue where our breakers kept tripping. We replaced the breaker ourselves and it kept happening. Decided to call these guys. Daylen found the problem was actually a hidden outlit that was shorting out. He replaced that one and gave us advice on what to look for to replace the others. Highly recommend.Note if you notice the lack of professional marked on here, to me that is a good thing.Daylen was polite and fun to talk to and didn't act like a person that was here because he had to be.

I needed to have power restored after accidental usage of appliances. Barnett Electrical had previously installed outside front house lighting, and I have been so pleased with all they do and provide.

Great experience. I was looking for someone to repair a blown fuse on a Sunday morning to get the AC back on. Bill showed up, diagnosed the problem in minutes, and had electricity back to the no time. Also, he explained the problem I created to me without making me feel like an idiot. I'll use Barnett again.

Used for a hot tub install quote. Omar, the electrician, was very communicative, on time, extremely respectful, and professional. Explained the process, provided me two quotes to try to fit my budget.

I called to have an outlet put in under the sink in my kitchen. They were quick to give a quote ($170) and then install the outlet. However, I did not realize that they would be running it through the cabinetry, which I planned to replace the following day. They also did not disclose that. I thought that the outlet would be put inside the wall, but instead it is mounted to the wall and the box sticks out. When I called the day after the installation, they told me they would send someone out to look at it. The tech they sent out warned me that there would be an extra charge for being off the clock (~$260). He didn't tell me the price, but I called the number again and they spoke to the owners who told me the prices would be $260 on a weekend or $160, to essentially figure out something to do with wire running through the cabinet. A manager was supposed to call back, but never did despite reminders. In the end we drilled around the cabinets in order to replace them. There's also a 2x4 ish hole in the dry wall where they ran wire from an old outlet.Edit: After almost two months, the owner issued a full refund for the work, so I changed my two star review to five.

Sergio came out to work on a GFCI outlet on the outside of our building that in the past was causing other electrical issues.They GFCI was still under warranty. They came out to swap for a new one at no extra charge.He was done quickly and power was back.

I am not sure where to begin with the wonderful service Derrick and Brian have provided. They explained what they were doing in laymans terms, asked where I wanted the light switches, offered suggestions which were spot on and so much more. What was most impressive though, was the way they have cleaned up each evening, even through they were coming back the next day. When I have an electric problem we call for Bill at Barnett electric. He is kind, knowledgeable and efficient. I couldn't ask for a better experience!

Scheduled work in advance, was called by Barnett electric two days before the confirmed appointment and asked to reschedule out by one week. Day of newly scheduled appointment, Barnett was a no show and no call. Called Barnett and they said they had rescheduled again and unfortunately, no one had notified me because they were really busy. Lots of excuses...dog ate my homework, etc... In the end, not dependable and don't meet their commitments. If you don't care about your time, can wait for weeks and hope they show up, might be the right company for you.

Unfortunately to my surprise, I found myself needing emergency electrical work recently. When Nick arrived, I told him I thought this would be a week long project because it seemed like a nightmare to me. However, he had me fixed up and ready to go in less than 2 hours. I was impressed with the work ethic shown by this young man. There's no better electrical company in OKC! I will always use Barnett Electrical Services from this point forward.

Was charged a $69 fee to even look at my house to restore power after the Oct 26 ice storm. Then, because I need my circuit breaker replaced as well to get up to code, I was quoted over $8,000. Almost everyone I talked to asked if they were completely rewiring my whole house. Found another electrician who is doing the work for about 1/3 of that. It feels like they're profiteering during an emergency.

Sergio and Dustin were right in time. Called 15 minutes before arriving as they said and were quick and professional. No mess, clean install, and reasonably priced. They are my 'go to' electricians going forward.

Terrible service from the men on this job!! i caught them on multiple occasions standing around doing absolutely nothing or running out to the truck to sit inside. Got an estimate on panel and service upgrade. While by no means a small ticket item, the price was fair. Technician was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. Will be using them in the future to get the upgrade done.

Technician Richard is an asset to their business. They are extremely lucky to have him. He was very professional very courteous very respectful and explained everything he was doing. A wonderful experience.

I work for a low-voltage security company and I was working at a job site called Nashbird’s. The jobsite required more than just myself but with how busy the company is I was Sent out to start it unfortunately by myself. one of the journeyman’s or apprentice by the name of Lane I believe he’s last name started with a C.. noticed I was struggling pulling the wires around a few corners and noticed I was getting frustrated and he offered to help but I noticed the Electricians we’re headed to lunch so I said no thank you but he said he was waiting for another Co worker anyways so he pulled up a ladder and help me with the longest and last wire run which took about 10-15 min of help he didn’t have to do. So it was just cool to see that there is still company’s that have genuine guys that are willing to help out other trades.

Uninstalled a broken outdoor light timer and installed a new one. The electrician was able to install it quickly and tested to ensure it worked. He answered questions I had about it as well as some other general home electrical questions.

I have a 12,500 sq ft commercial marijuana operation that these guys helped with several months ago. They helped with upgrading transformers on the back side of our building and prepared everything for the installation of the bigger OG&E transformer once it delivered...10 WHOLE WEEKS later!! I have to say that out of ALL the contractors I dealt with throughout this entire process, they are by far the most helpful, professional, down to earth group of contractors! They were the only contractors that every single time I saw them I was greeted with smiles and upbeat spirits! The crew worked insanely fast and completed jobs in a fraction of the time it took other electrical companies. There were many electrical issues due to the substantial increase in power. These guys were always there for me! Anytime my power went out while I was awaiting my transformer, they were there instantly! In this industry you have to have an electrical company that has your back, and these guys did everytime! They will be my electricians for life!!
