I purchased this stove from Best Buy. When the stove was delivered, there was only one person sent to haul it into the house and install it. The stove was clearly too heavy for him to handle alone and he was unable to handle the weight and could not get it into the house on his own. He then asked me to help him lift it in. I have peripheral neuropathy and a host of other physical problems which prevent me from doing a host of physical activities. I did find someone to assist him and they got the stove into the house. This was totally unacceptable after I had paid them $140 to install this stove for me.
Then, much to my dismay this morning with the morning light shining in through the kitchen windows I noticed a chip in the paint off to the side of the top which is right at the counter level and not all that visible, but still, I paid good money for this stove and I want it right. Again feel certain that this problem was caused by the installer not being able to handle such a heavy appliance on his own. I am not blaming the installer. It was not his fault. Two people were needed for this installation
