I would recommend Shaun to anyone, I was in a jam because another electrical company bailed on me at the last minute, I called Carolina Blue Electric and he came out the same day within an hour and fixed my problem within minutes. His pricing was fair and he was very professional. I am glad to see that there are still companies out there that take pride in their work and appreciate the clients that hire them.

I had Shaun out to repair a tripping GFCI. He replaced this along with other related upgrades. But the issue was not resolved, continued to trip leaving part of my home without power. I asked him to return to resolve the issue with multiple emails and texts, but did not receive his commitment to honor his work. Looking for a new electrician. Communication is not good. Would not recommend.

I called Shaun about a potential wiring issue in the home I just moved into. Shaun spent about 15 minutes not only walking me through the concern but then sharing his expertise with me about the overall project I was undertaking that led to the concern! Of you have electrical needs or concerns...call Shaun. Absolutely excellent experience!

I have nothing but good to say about Carolina Blue! Scheduling was a breeze. They were awesome and even sent a Google Calendar event invite which was really nice. Most services that I schedule for home repairs never show up on time, not with Carolina Blue! They were here right when they said they would be. Shaun was an absolute pleasure. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He answered my (many) questions about random electrical things about our house. Pricing was straightforward and very fair. When I need another electrical project done, I will absolutely call them again.

Shaun set up a transfer switch on our well pump so we can hook a generator up to it when we lose power. Only took about an hour to set the whole thing up. He was very professional and gave me multiple options on what we could do, even one that the power company would have do bypassing him completely. I knew then he was a good guy. I would totally recommend him to anyone needing electrical repairs because I'll be using him going forward.

He came to our house on a Friday afternoon after he was already done for the day and heading home! He was so nice about the situation and even came back around 6p.m after we discovered the electricity was not flowing properly.When we had to call the second time, he did not hesitate to come over and fix the problem. Very honorable and fair company!

Shaun first offered over the phone support to a smaller problem I had to assist in saving me time and money. After I mentioned a larger job, he scheduled an appointment and was on time for the set appointment. Work was quickly competed and looked very professional. Shaun was very courteous. I would definitely recommend!

Excellent job! Shaun has been to our home on at least 3-4 different occasions. He installed a light fixture in our foyer that required scaffolding and did a great job, also added outlets, repaired our panel with needed updated equipment. He is thorough and very conscientious about safety, which I appreciate. He installed lots of outdoor lights and found something that was causing a problem and repaired it. Our back patio had two ceiling fans connected to 2 bright can lights and he had very economical solution to resolve the issue of having fans on without the bright light and I really appreciated that vs ripping out the ceiling and creating a pricey job. Highly recommend!

Shaun exceeded my expectations. I needed an emergency repair completed before power could be restored to my home following a recent storm. He came out, provided an estimate and completed the repair in the same day as promised. I will certainly keep Shaun in mind for future needs.

Shaun was on time and got right to work. He figured out my problem super fast! He also showed me where the light switch was for the light I thought was broken. We both got a chuckle out of that!

I have used them at my home on 3 occasions. Each time they were prompt and professional. The job was done right the first time, in a very reasonable amount of time, and for a very fair price. The projects all look great, and they left no mess at all. I completely trust them, and won't even think about calling anyone else.

Called 7/3/19 to schedule an estimate. Spoke with the office manager and agreed to 7/8/19 @ 4:30pm. Less than 5 mins later, had voicemail from office manager needing to reschedule to 7/9/19 due to a conflict. Returned call after getting off work and spoke with Shaun describing what work I needed done and confirmed an estimate for 7/9/19 @ 5:30 pm. That date and time has come and gone with no-call, no-show, and no estimate! It appears your reply to a previous review had a corrective action of bringing onboard a office manager to prevent a no-show / no-call from happening again. There is no need to call or email to reschedule as this career naval veteran of 3 wars will find another electrician to wire up my new garage.

Nice guys and great service but was totally mislead on how the $125 per hour works.

They arrived at 8AM, scoped job and left at 8:10 to go to Lowes, came back at 8:50. Then finished the job at 9:20 AM.
So they worked 30 minutes. My estimate is 1/2 of $125 plus materials, yet I was charged $371 for two hours of labor plus materials.
Like I said good guy and good job but completely misleading.

$383 for 30 minutes of work more expensive than my lawyer, pathetic!

Backstory: The sewage ejection pump FAILED on our home. This pump keeps raw sewage from backing up into my home because my home is below the roadway level. It failed. Alarm on it went off, red light flashing and horn blaring warning, I freaked out, called a plumber emergently, he came and said no, its electrical- not plumbing. The box was fried. So called Carolina Blue Electric and once I explained, he was at my door in 20 minutes!

He worked his tail off, managed to save the unit, spent a ton of time sorting it out to ensure working properly (I was having nightmares I would go to bed and wake up with raw sewage in my house) and showed me everything, reassuring me that it's fixed and working.

Thank you so much!!!! Awesome service!! Absolutely cannot give this guy enough stars! Will never use anyone else!
