I am glad I called Rich. He came the same day that I had an outage and noticed a fire hazard that a previous electrician did not tell me about. He was very professional, courteous and definitely recommend his services.

I used this company to service my generator and perform electrical repairs/work in my home. They came promptly, were professional and neat and made sure that I was satisfied. A bonus - the electrician noticed that the electrical line to my house was low and suggested I call PSEG. The suggestion led to a $50 reduction in my monthly bill! Thank you Haines Electric. During major construction on our home, we discovered that the electrical work was not executed according to the plan. With time being a major issue, we were very fortunate to be referred to Rich at Haines Electric. Rich was clearly very competent and extremely customer service oriented. He and his team came in and corrected / completed the work we needed. It was done at a reasonable cost in very short order. Everything was cleaned up perfectly after they left.

They impressed us so much that we have definitely decided to use Haines for all our electrical needs.

We would highly recommend them to anyone needing an electrician - especially if you plan major electrical work!

Rich arrived on time and quickly installed three new external 15 amp outlets. He also gave us advice on the best way to make a 20 amp supply available outside the house by using the 20 amp outlets in our kitchen. This was extremely helpful advice. We had a further discussion about automatic alarm systems with a camera that could be installed using our front door bell push.
This was not our first experience of this firm and we would never think of anyone else now.

After 3 unsuccessful attempts to get other electricians to return my calls, I found Haines Electric and I am thrilled with the service they provided. Rich returned my phone call, came on time to spec the job, gave me a reasonable price and promptly began the work on the agreed upon dates. His team works cleanly and efficiently. A snag was encountered during the installation that, with a less knowledgeable company, would have meant tearing out walls, Rich was able to solve with no interior damage. Needed an emergency shut off switch for a water heater. Rich offered fair quotes and provided a solution that another electrician did not offer. Paul completed the actual work. He arrived on time and left the area spotless. Both of them were very courteous and professional. I will be calling them again for other work.

Everybody at Haines Electric are professional and really great people! I’ve called in then for several different jobs already. They’ve installed electrical outlets for my Smart HD TVs as well as ground wire and GFCI breaker installations for my portable outdoor hot tub. I have been searching for a good electrician for years. They all seem to want to put outlets in the middle of the wall and arrange light switches in ways that have no logic what so ever.

Would not use anyone else for electrical work. Besides outstanding quality work, Haines electric is about customer service. Estimates are clear and complete. Top notch service. Rich, his son RJ and Chris are the best. Show up on time, my house was cleaner once they left and the service was superb. Not only did they do what was promised they did extras. Also, Rich is not there to sell you what you don't need. He gives you honest opinions, expertise and estimates. Is there a way to select 100++++++ stars.

I have been using Rich for over a decade. HIs company is always professional, does a great job and is reasonably priced. Recently I hired him to replace 53 year old bulbs and wiring harnesses that were not working. While doing the job, his team diagnosed and fixed an electrical problem that may have resulted in a fire had they not fixed it. After redoing the outdoor lights, it is better than ever. The outside is better lite then it has been in the past, uses less electricity with new bulb technology and is better insulated against the weather and insects. I highly recommend Rich's company.
