Water Wise Plumbing

Shady company during a HWH replacement via home warranty... currently active and 8 calendar days in now.

Tech walked in and instantly said those copper hoses need to go continued to take off and replace with stainless steel then further tell me it's a modification... Why? What was being modified, what was wrong with my hoses/pipes to begin with? He said they were leaking. Great, if they were damaged or not up to code they should be replaced as part of the warranty coverage per my terms and conditions for my policy. Additionally, the plastic pan to be replaced underneath the hot water heater saying it's not covered yet, in the same sentence saying it's a code requirement and home warranty will pay for code items? Although he stated he wouldn't charge me the $95 for a pan if I went out and got one myself for only $25.

I've emailed your company 3x, contacted via phone to your office but only allowed to talk to John the dispatcher who cannot assist me and the warranty and the company with no explanation other than stating we approve items based on how it was submitted. These are not modifications. How is a modification a replacement or repair? We are not remodeling, improving, customizing, refashioning, adjusting, transforming anything. We are REPLACING parts that were defective, inoperative, faulty, flawed, etc.

I NEVER SIGNED ANYTHING UPFRONT to identify the scope of the job; I even asked for a breakdown of what was being charged beforehand but never received until the out of pocket costs were determined. Verbally stated only, the job will be about $780-ish and you 'may' be out of pocket some costs...

I fully understand the cost of business however this is really perceived as upselling me and theft of copper... Prove me different?

Then a professional company would have explained this to me on the phone rather than reactive to a review. Your person was short on response, provide no insight as you just did, and the perception was exactly what i provided a one star for. Had that Agent responded or explained in the manner you just did (which i believe is only for your reviewers to believe you arent what i described and more of what you are attempting to say you are) then i would have provided a different review. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. You are only responsive and reactive rather than proactive in attempt to save face on this review. Maybe in the future your agents can be more proactive than reactive.
This company has poor customer service and doesn't want to earn business. Their truck just arrived to my neighbors home Two doors down. So I use thier marketing tool which is their phone number on the side of the truck. I asked if someone can come look at my water softener while he is here to tell me if it could be repaired or not. This is a Callihan water softener not some major plumbing job. Again. I did not ask for repair but look at it to see if it could be repair and I'll make an appointment later time for this company to repair. Nope, he has to run to the other side of town. Really, a diagnosis of a water heater is not rocket science especially if I may already know what the problem is. Any other company I call would be glad to at least try to appease to try to earn a sale. I guess they are too popular and don't need the business. Any company that can't take 10- 15 mins to look isn't a very good company ans shows how deplorable their customer service is. Glad I missed that bullet.

Curtis was excellent! They fixed every issue even though it was after my 60 days.

Water Wise Plumbing was assigned by my home warranty company, American Home Shield. The shower head was leaking and needed replacement. Curtis was sent out and he diagnosed the problem quickly and efficiently. A part was needed to be ordered and Curtis came back a few days later to complete the job. I would like to say that Curtis was professional, on-time, careful and very experienced with his trade. I would definitely request him the next time.

We were referred to this company through our home warranty, which is usually a horrible experience. However, this company was extremely responsive and had amazing follow up. Our plumber Christian was always on time, knowledgeable and great follow through.

I had an awesome experience with Water Wise and their technician, Roshon. Not only did he fix my icebox water valve quickly and efficiently, but he was incredibly knowledgeable and also had a great sense of humor that made the whole process enjoyable. I have been in the service industry for over 20 years, and I know customer service or lack thereof. I was not given a confirmation call that I was even scheduled. they did not know the tech they scheduled had left early for the day, I made all the calls to find out if I was even on the schedule and if they were still coming. That's the worst thing to do to a customer is make them call you to find out about the services they are paying for. That's why you have irate customers. The issue that was supposed to be fixed was not fixed, something I could've done myself, but I thought I was getting professionals to handle it. I should've read the reviews on warranty service before agreeing to using this company.

I owe this company a improve excellent review as I once said that a company that is trustworthy and good is when you have a problem with them backing their workmanship and in this case last month with Water Wise Plumbing rose to excellence. Ryan Carl, the owner, rose to the level to ensure that a repair that required to be redone were made and he went up above and beyond the call of duty to stand by the warranty and workmanship of his plumbers. The repair was done in the most professional and efficient manner requiring opening up the wall, repairing the part, and building back the wall at no cost. This superbly demonstrates an excellence in customer service and commitment. Along with this repair, I learned that Water Wise Plumbing has more experience and does more extensive plumbing repairs then any other plumbing company in Vegas. As a matter of fact, we had two previous plumbing companies that was very limited in plumbing repairs whereas Water Water does more extensive plumbing work. Water Wise Plumbing is also much more reasonably affordable then any other companies around. I give this plumbing company exceptionally high marks and their willingness to keep improving customer satisfaction is this company ultimate quest. I highly recommend this company in every expect of your plumbing needs from basics to extensive.

I would like to complement water wise and one of their employees. Mr. Peoples assisted me with a repair of my toilet. He provided excellent customer support and personally took care of my needs. Mr. Peoples allowed me to upload photos of my bathroom to ensure that toilet matched our bathroom decor. Mr. Peoples searched locally for replacement but was unable to locate one but special ordered one for me. Though out this entire process, Mr. Peoples continually communicated with me. Mr. Peoples is an excellent employee and asset to Water Wise. I have used Water Wise in the past and all service techs are very friendly and courteous.

Water Wise Plumbing was dispatched to me through my Home Warranty Company. They quickly called to schedule an appointment and able to work around my schedule. Eric called me when he was on his way to my house. He quickly diagnosed what was wrong and had the repair done in less than an hour. I will use these guys if I have any other plumbing issues in the future.

Mike T was on time, knowledgeable, and willing to answer all questions. Made a great suggestion that will help us prevent prevent the lint build up in our vent which in turn will extend the life of our unit and help prevent a potential fire hazard from occurring. This company was referred by our home warranty. They had us scheduled same day to look at our garbage disposal, and the technician, Mike, was very pleasant and professional. It needed to be replaced, and they ordered it immediately. They scheduled an appointment for the same day the part came in, and Mike returned during the scheduled appointment time and replaced the disposal in no time. Would definitely recommend this company!

Keith came in very professional ,I showed him what the situation was. There was some miscommunication between what was expected versus all that was supposed to be done but he took care of that.I would and will use them in the future for all installation since I had a situation with another plumbing company in town and I believe they gouged me severely. I will be more than happy to refer them to other friends and family and use them for all my other plumbing needs from this point going forward.

Just got off the phone with the company, DO NOT USE!

We arranged for a quote at our house and on the day they were suppose to come they informed us they were going to be on their way. Before they left we called to CANCEL. The guy NEVER showed, NEVER gave a quote and NEVER did anything on our property. I’m a stay at home mum and no one appeared at the house after we spoke to him on the phone to cancel.

However we have just received a charge of $75 for ‘completion’ of a job.

This is a huge lie. We called the company and three times and each representative refused to do anything about it. They said it was marked complete so they have to charge. They were rude over the phone and unhelpful! Oh they did give us a phone number to call… which was a made up one 😂

All they want is your money and they will OVERCHARGE YOU!

Excellent! Excellent! Company & Customer Service. I bought my reverse osmosis system from Home Depot and they provided the name of 3 companies to come out free of charge to give a quote to install the system.

1st Company quoted $363+
2nd Company quoted me $800+ (I’m not kidding). He wanted me to buy insurance from him in case there was a problem with his work.
3rd Company was Water Wise Plumbing. They quoted $187. The plumber also went to Hone Depot to purchase a part at no extra cost to me.

I had also reviewed handymen on neighborhood website and no one was close to this price.

The only plumber I need! They are polite, clean gentlemen. Their prices are reasonable and their work on the mark. A family owned business you get that special touch and attention a hired corporate worker doesn't provide. Seriously, I recommend James and Ryan without hesitation. The two techs from Water Wise (Trainer/Trainee) arrived on the earlier side of the 4-hour window. I received a text & a call before they came. They replaced my leaking garbage disposal with one that has a little higher motor, for the same home warranty trade-call fee. They were both friendly & professional. I also asked if they could please replace the battery pack for the reverse osmosis alarm that had gone off when the disposal was leaking, while they were already under the sink, as it was hard for me to get to it. They graciously hooked it back up for me. Very pleased with everything!

Thank you so much to Eric and the Water wise plumbing team. We moved into our home over seventeen years ago, and after a year of moving in, we started having issues with our sewer when it came to our toilets.

Everytime family would come down to visit, without fail, our toilets would clog. We eventually had someone come down and try to determine what the issue was, and we learned that it was a pipe heading towards the street.

We didn't have the funds at the time to resolve the issue long term, so we had to wait. Now that we have the funds, we were directed to Water Wise through American Homeshield, and I'm so thankful they recommended them.

Eric and his team are professional, efficient, friendly, but most of all, affordable. They had estimated that it would take 3-4 days to fix everything, and they were right. It took a total of 4 days, and every night, they would put the pipe back in place so that we could use our bathroom and shower at night.

Eric walked us through what would be done to our pipe, but as he dug further, he found the real culprit, and it was buildup from way before we even moved into our house. Eric explained the situation to us, and got the tools that were needed to finally fix our problem, and even though it would cost us a little extra, it was completely worth it. So, again, thank you so much, Eric and your team.

We are definitely satisfied with your company's work, and we recommend them to anyone who needs help with their sewer. Also, we learned that they are 24/7 on call, so if you ever have issues at night during the weekday, and even the weekends, you can call them for help.

I had Water Wise install an elaborate home filtration water system bought from a home improvement store. Keith came out to do an assessment and bid. He was very professional and did a great job on the installation. There was no need to run around for parts like with some other guys and he completed it in one day (my last plumber almost accidentally burned down my house while sweating pipes). I am very happy with the work and highly recommend them.

There is not enough I can say about my experience with Water Wise Plumbing. It was all positive and one of the main reasons is Roshon. My water heater broke and the company who installed it absolutely refused to even touch it. I was without hot water for five weeks. As a matter of fact the owner of the company who initially installed the water heater screamed and slammed the phone on me and refused to help me. Roshon was absolutely fabulous. He was patient and kind. He explained everything and spoke with the warranty company. On the day he replaced the water heater he stayed in contact with me throughout the day letting me know when he would be at my house and when it was finally completed. When people are in this situation without water, he is the example of how to handle customers. Thank you again Water Wise. I truly recommend this company and will use them in the future.

This company is a vendor of American Home Shield- Birds of a feather as they say.
They were scheduled to come out on a Thursday between 12-4 and called at 2:30 to reschedule. We were understanding and R/S'd for the following day 1-5. At 5pm, no call, no show. We called AHS which got in touch w/ Water Wise- who then called us at 5:20, & stated they'd arrive which they did approx 5:40. They were here for no more than 10-15 minutes and suggested an upsell camera service which wouldn't be covered by AHS and a consumer product from Amazon called Bio Clean (50$). We paid AHS 100$ for this.

After getting the official cameral denial and declining the 275$ camera service- we sought out to get our 100$ back from AHS.

(Note that we had our own plumber out to estimate the issue (Wax Rings) on a prior AHS call- determining that Wax Rings ARE Covered- when we were told initially they weren't)).

AHS won't refund the $ and offered a follow up visit for WW to come back. We speak to them about our issue and what the 1st techs stated. They schedule an appointment for 2/19 12-4 and not only again do not show (At All), but never called.

I reach out to them after hours and get a call back the next day at 8am (Thanks?) and their response to why they never called or showed up was that AHS canceled our call.

I of course call AHS to validate this and WW lied. AHS had not only the tech name, but date and time of the cancellation on 2/16.

Both companies dropped the ball here- but we made the appointment with WW and they cancelled it, lied about it and never took responsibility for it other than offering a lame apology stating it fell through the cracks.

If they can't manage communication, and then they LIE about who canceled the call, do you trust them with expensive estimates to get your plumbing needs met?

They couldn't pick up the phone to communicate to us they were cancelling the call.
They Lie About it...I certainly wouldn't trust this business to come into my home to service delicate AND Costly Plumbing issues.

In hindsight, the Camera Upsell was a ploy to get the call complete at least for the night. It was the end of their work day, they were late, they didn't call. They knew the camera upsell would be declined and hoped we would go away.

Well, we are, but not without giving a review. I want to thank Water Wise Plumbing LV for not only costing us 100$ for their late visit the first time, but for suggesting the bogus Bio Clean solution (which didn't work) and then blowing us off and lying about it on the recall.

If businesses and people can suck at what they do and how they do it... Water Wise takes the cake.

Be Wise, DON'T USE WATER WISE....OtherWISE, you'll be disappointed, just like we were.

(As a side note, don't work w/ AHS either- Those that Scam Together, Stay together)

I cannot praise this company and staff enough, they are very professional, accommodating, helpful and caring. They were very diligent in looking for a resolution to my problem and came up with a fix to correct the issue. They repaired 3 items for us, we would definitely call on them again.
Miguel was our technician, and I would always request his service if needed again.
The office staff Rebecca and Coral were very helpful and always courteous. The communication is also A+.

After several challenges, Mike and his assistant went well above the norm while troubleshooting some issues. Mike is a master with hot water heater installation.

I was worried when I saw the AHS-related reviews that we would get some sort of run around but so far this company has provided excellent service. They repaired the air gap that was spurting water when we ran the dishwasher and they fixed a faucet that was not quite right. We are waiting for them to install a new faucet in our bar sink as well. So far so good and I liked the plumber, Curtis, who has been handling our case. He has done a good job with what he has fixed so far. Hopefully the rest of the repair goes off without a hitch! We will definitely call this company when we ditch the AHS policy.

Water Wise Plumbing scams homeowners into expensive and unnecessary restoration and asbestos removal. I was told that work was pending due to permits from the city. The city hasn't had a record of any permits on my home in the last 2 decades. My 3 small children and I have been living in subpar conditions due to the greed and dishonesty of this company. Never ever do business with Water Wise or their sister restoration company WFM

I had a pipe break and it flooded the upstairs and half the downstairs and the garage. They came right away. They took out the water installed humidifiers and fans through out the house along with a lot of other things that needed to be done. They were very pleasant and walked me through everything. They worked with me. I have never had a better company come in to do a job. They were polite and concentious and did a wonderful job. I would recommend this company 100%. This company was made aware that my new water heater needed a part since August 27,2019. The company representative came to my home (on the 29th) diagnosed the problem and promised to order the part. On the 31st, I telephoned Water Wise and was told by the receptionist I would receive a call back shortly. This company did not return my call; and, I learned (from the manufacturer) Water Wise did not order the part. The manufacturer had to reassign another company to diagnose the issue and order the part. Hence, I had no hot water from August 31st until September 5th. Had this company ordered the part as promised, I would have had the part installed and hot running water in a timely matter.

Christian is a great technician.. he’s very helpful and informative! He’s also a cool person too, he’s not stuck up and a jerk like other workers!! Thanks for your help man!

Plumber made erroneous statements about normal wear and tear on a 50 year old wall mounted toilet so insurance Old Home Republic will not cover the replacement . Plumber noted no problem but also took monetary incentive knowing his description would void my insurance claim. Do not use this company for claims as you will end up paying a service fee to them or your insurance co. Both my insurance co and these plumbing companies know if they work together they save money and the customers end up paying. Think the Fed Trade Commission should know the game they are playing.

Wall mounted toilets do break from normal wear and tear according to my research from local hardware suppliers.

Beware and make a dispute with your credit card company for services not rendered if they charge you an outrageous fee for a 5 minute erroneous evaluation.

They diagnosed the problem remotely via an app similar to FaceTime. They were at our door in a couple hours after our first contact. Completed the job quickly and efficiently. Curtis was very polite and professional. He also followed COVID-19 protocols properly. Overall a great experience. Would definitely use this company again.

We were referred to Water Wise Plumbing by our home warranty (AHS) when our water heater went out. Christian was patient and answered all our questions regarding the water heater. The tech was professional and helpful - he came out for a warranty service on our water heater, explained what was causing our issue and told us how to follow up further to get it fixed, but moreover he was kind enough to point out things that are not up to code with our connections - explained what we needed and why it was dangerous to leave those things unaddressed, which I appreciate as a homeowner, not only to extend the life of our water heater but also to make sure everything is safe for us here.
Next time I have plumbing issues, warranty or not, I will be contacting this company again.

Our technician was Bo. Prior to showing up Bo let me know he would be on his way. He showed up just shortly after. Bo came to our house to set up our dryer that we purchased though Costco. Bo was very friendly and polite he answered our questions and gave us helpful suggestions. We are satisfied with the service provided by Bo. He was quick and efficient. This company is not customer friendly or punctual at all. Scheduled an appointment with a window of 11-3. They failed to inform me that their tech was running at least three hours behind. I had to call them to find out the delay. They were not apologetic or accommodating in anyway, and basically told me if I wanted their service I would wait on them.

I would not recommend this company to anyone, and I haven't even had the service yet.

i have had the worst experience ever with this company i was referred to them from my home warranty company. fist off they showed up late in the evening after the appointment was between 2-3 pm only to tell me that there is nothing we can do too bad we will have to handle it tomorrow. ok i will live with that but the next day they came and disconnected my old water heater and then said we don't have the parts to install the new one. You will have no water until tomorrow and we will come in the morning. they showed up 3 pm. i had to take my expecting wife to a hotel which made it very inconvenient. after coming the following day they installed a pipe then said wait a few hours it will fill up and will work . well to my surprise i have hot water but i have zero water pressure so we are still unable to stay at home yet again. This has been the worst experience i wouldn't recommend them to anyone. they clearly don’t t care for your time nor do they stand behind there work. i wanna point out the disaster they made in the process they didn't clean anything up behind themselves leaving metal shavings broken pipes screws ect all around pretty disgusting that the quality of work is so bad.

Words cannot explain how amazing of a job Sierra did on a short notice. We had a main waterline pipe leak. Our plumber Sierra arrived on time, was kind, friendly, efficient, her service was cost effective, and even great with a very doubtful HOA neighbor. She respectfully answered all his questions, killed him with kindness and completed a major job that would of taken 2 people to finish.
Very impressive even the doubtful neighbor took her business card for future repairs.
