Todd Turner was our reverse osmosis plumber sent to install our under the kitchen unit. He was very personable and professional. He did an excellent installation and no problems. We would highly recommend him for any filteration unit installations as he is extremely experienced and knowledgable in this area as well as other more complex installations. We will be using him again for the whole house filteration installation in a few months. Todd is an asset to any plumbing company that hires him to do filteration intallations. He is a quality installer that knows his stuff. Five stars to him and Sunrise Service Plumbing. Casey the owner sent us a top quality installer and we thank him.

Placed multiple calls and an email to service department just to get a appointment for someone to come out and replace my unit.
They did not respond and call back.
As I called... I kept getting forwarded to multiple people and no one would schedule an appointment or was able to give me any pricing... Or I would get voicemail boxs.... They clearly have no idea to Handel customers! I am now giving my business to someone else. Bad way to run a company. No one knew who to talk too.

I have been a customer of Sunrise for both AC and plumbing repairs and they have been honest and ethical the entire time. I connect with Mike in the office and he dispatches the tech who can best service my home. Most recently, I needed a 2nd opinion on a plumbing leak. Ryan F. was sent to my home to diagnose/find the leak. It was a homeowner's claim with a challenging location and a more subtle, slow drip. It took some time and Ryan was able to locate and repair the leak. The entire time, he was patient with my questions and concerns as a homeowner. He arrived on time, was neat and clean when working, and took his time to check and see that repair was done correctly and made sure no additional leaks were present. He was available afterwards to answer additional questions I had and was always easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend Ryan F. and Sunrise for plumbing repairs.

Mr. Phillip Cape, Sunrise Service Technician, arrive at my home early and immediately went to work to troubleshoot my A/C issue. Mr. Cape discovered a pin hole leak in the system after careful examination.
As he went about his work, Mr. Cape explained in detail his assessment and what my options were. I decided to purchase a new Carrier unit and not reply on the current builder grade unit that in all likelihood would fail again.
Mr. Cape is a most knowledgeable and professional technician and an example of Sunrise committment to excellent customer service.

Jerome Logan ( fantastic man ) turned us on to the air filtration system. OMG: I haven't sneezed in a week, amazing! I dust once a week now, no longer a slave to the half inch of dust every two days! You must talk to Jerome if you have had the constant sneezing and coughing due to the dust in your home. My woes are gone, thank you so much Jerome. Hopefully you don’t get tech by the name of Kevin. He is dishonest and only out to make a dollar. Only problem was a dead capicitaor and he recommended to replace the entire unit.
My AC unit was no longer blowing out cold air. A Sunrise service technician inspected my system and stated I needed a brand new unit for many thousands of dollars and more thousands of dollars for installation.
I decided to get a second opinion. The next company I called fixed my AC by replacing a part and recharging my refrigerant for alot less money.

Tremendous Experience, all around. Not only were they able to come out to our house and Troubleshoot the problem, on the same day we called,but they were able to band aid the issues so that we could have AC until the new unit was Installed only 4 DAYS LATER!!
Install group (2 very personable and knowledgeable guys) arrived on time and completed the project as promised. They cleaned everything up,removed all old equipment and ran us through the proper instructions for using our new HVAC unit.

We've been using Sunrise since they installed our heating/AC units in our new home about 20 years ago. A few years ago, they replaced the old upstairs AC unit and earlier this week the downstairs one. They provide excellent service and have fair pricing. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, we were nervous about having technicians in our home but they followed all health and safety protocols. The people in this company are great to work with, but two standouts are Jerome Logan and Cody Martinez. Jerome is responsive basically 24/7. He responds to questions at nights and on the weekends and is extremely thorough in his follow-up. I recommend this company highly.

The technicians that came out to fix our AC were super friendly and even worked late into the evening to make sure we were happy. Sergio took time to explain how the system works and tell us what to do to make sure we don’t run into issues again! Aaron worked hard to drain the overflow (two separate days) and ensured the system worked again before leaving!

I called 4 HVAC companies for estimates to replace my 30 year old AC unit. Sunrise AC came out on top! I called their live 24/7 operator, then spoke with Michael Hahn. He and Cody jumped in a truck and came right over. Michael gave me options and pricing before he left and emailed a quote, yes, put it in writing. He was professional, competitively priced, and very straight forward. No sales b.s. like you hear on the radio. After installation I received a follow up call to make sure I was completely satisfied. I highly recommend this company. Ask for Mike, he takes care of everything.

I'm renting a house an had an a/c issue, I gave sunrise a call to get a tech out. They where able to come out an get me squared away I was told the tech would be there in an hour. DAN the tech showed up probably 20 minutes later. All business came in an got straight to where the problem was an got it squared away. Dan was very polite an able to answer any questions u had confidently. It was overall a very good experience with this company for the 1st time. If their employees like DAN are a reflection of the company's leadership then they are in good hands.

Sunrise Mechanical offered very professional assistance to me from their office staff answering my many questions regarding their various services, to the technicians that arrived at my home to address replacing my water heater in one day, to addressing my air conditioning issues. I appreciated all of their timely and very professional help. I would definitely utilize this company again and would recommend this company to others.
We chose Sunrise because of our neighbor who was quite satisfied with her new HVAC system. We needed replacement because of a problem with water condensation on old coils in our attic. We went with their mid-range air conditioner from Carrier (Model 24APB6) with up to 16 SEER. Their price was not cheap but competitive. Their service was outstanding. The finished the entire installation of two Acs and two furnaces with all new ducts in less than one day. Their supervisor, Cody Martinez was excellent. Their crew caused some minor damage to the attic panel. He came back with a custom made replacement with a perfect paint match in three days.

Having issues with my air conditioner and spoke to 4 people this morning with no help...called Sunrise and spoke to Caroline and she was super helpful and scheduled a service and knew everything about my unit. Installed an AC unit less than three years ago and the capacitor is bad already. Only a one year labor warranty. Apparently they know the products they are installing are not quality.
Been using Sunrise service for years and I recommend them to my friends and family. The technicians are friendly and honest. 👍👍👍

Very unprofessional and overheard technician saying very unpleasant words about me wearing a mask, will never use this company again.
The technician arrived on time and within about 4 minutes told me the problem was a bad capacitor, and that the part would cost $210.00 dollars because it was not a common part because of the age of my unit and it needed to be a 35+5 dual capacitor. (This in addition to the standard $85 dollar trip fee) I had them replace it, took less then 3 minutes and everything was up and running.
Later after researching the part, I found that it is a very common part, and can be bought just about anywhere for about $20, including Amazon and Ebay brand new, as well as about 30 other stores online.
I feel cheated, I paid over a 1000% markup on a very common and easily obtainable 20 dollar part. That is just robbery. This is just not right. , I hoped Sunrise would reache out to me to resolve this for me but they simply told me how expensive it is for them to maintain their trucks and inventory.
I have never felt this cheated before in my life.
Have used their service for more than 15 years. Consistently reliable with quality results. Many qualified staff, most recently work performed by Jose Ortiz was thorough with excellent results.
We have had a maintenance contract with them for over 15 years and found them to be professional, on top of all the latest recalls, alert to all the potential problems. An ounce of prevention is worth thousands in cost of cures. Alway explain everything clearly. Highly recommend this service,
The service technician was great. He showed up on time, was knowledgeable and courteous. However, they will rip you off beyond your wildest imagination on parts. They just charged me $255 for a part that I could have easily ordered myself online for $19.40 and $5.99 shipping. That is over 1000% markup. I will never use this company again, and they should be ashamed of their predatory practices. I don’t mind paying for skilled labor, I think there is a shortage of it in this country. I also wouldn’t have minded paying double, or even $60 for this part. But this was just flat disgusting. Do yourself a favor and find another company to service your needs!
UPDATE 01/22/13I received a call from Dell at Sunrise Mechanical. He claimed the technician “accidentally” overcharged me $90 for the part. However, since I had a $20 off coupon, they were only going to refund me $70. (I guess if you have a coupon, you pay more for the part???) I asked him why they are charging me $185 for a $20 part. He claimed it was because the part online doesn’t come with a “free” 1 year warranty like they are offering. But, how is it a free warranty, if I’m paying for a second part and one and a half hours of additional labor UP FRONT, for a warranty I will likely never use? Again, I would highly recommend you find another company.

The annual hook Sunrise Discount Club $159 for a summer/winter maintenace tune; needing service, I say call someone who itemizes the bill; separating the service from the parts and don't get hooked into an annual service contract. Unfortunately, i already paid them, but i don't have to call them back. Regarding the service call, i googled the part on the internet; price ranged from $15-25 for a Bryant hot surface ignitor; service $259, mostly labor i say. Watch out Seniors! $418 total for the day; half hour work.

We are very impressed with the routine service request fulfillment. Technician went out of his way to educate and complete necessary work. We learned more about out system than with any service provided by other companies in the past. We highly recommend Sunrise Service for your heating and air conditioning needs.
We lost our air conditioning last night, in the midst of this heat wave. We were able to schedule someone to come out the next day, with a time window of 4-6, but Jerome came almost an hour earlier to open our unit and assess the problem. He called to see if the part was available, but got a voice mail. Rather than wait (because the store would have closed if he waited for the return call 45 mins later), he took the initiative and drove there, got the parts, returned and had our a/c running again. He saved our Father's Day weekend as we had family travelling from out of state. Thank you Jerome!

Really a great company. The CEO, REED, is an awesome guy who cares about the people.
Was hoping to get urgent plumbing completed but was charged $85 to tell me what I already knew and quote me three times what another plumber just quoted. I have to wait in either case but $85 in five minutes is a great way to make money.
Prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and honest.
Serviced my heating unit without trying to upsell me unnecessary items. Very happy!

Didn’t fix plumbing issue the first time they came out, but company said they did. They then had to come back out a second time and still charged me for the first time when they didn’t fix the issue.
Over charged for parts in an extreme situation, part is nominally worth 8 to 20 dollars, charged 258.00
On July 7 2017, I noticed my bed room AC was not working , hottest day of the year 116, I called Sunrise Services , they advised me they could come the next day July 8 2017, service call is 85 dollars , I agreed the service person Adam showed up around 8am on the morning of July 8th, he did his checks of the thermostat , then proceeded to check the outside unit. within 15 min he diagnosed the unit as having a bad Capacitor, he said these things go all the time , I agreed since years ago I was in a similar business, Adam went to his truck, had the part and installed it , worked right away. he told me total was 343.00, I had not seen the invoice it was going to be invoiced to me. When I opened the email and hour later I noticed the total for the invoice was 258.00, I was confused since I just paid 343.00, so I called Sunrise Services left a message for Magen in accounting , told her my invoice does not add up , could you either credit me or correct the invoice. an hour later I get the corrected invoice , 85, for the service call and 258.00 for the part. The actual cost of that part is between 8 dollars and 25.00, I believe they are price gouging due to the desperation people are in because of the heat. I believe they are taking advantage of the situation. Please investigate before more people are ripped off

My fiancé and I have a warranty under Sunrise Cooling. Before in the past, we did have AC technicians come out because we had a problem with our AC unit. These technicians were not as great as the one we had today.
Mr. Poom came out today and serviced our AC on 8-2-23. He was very professional and on time. He had explained to my fiancé and I about what was going on. He was also considerate on any questions we had. Anytime in the future if we have any AC problems, we will be requesting his service.

How about ZERO stars. My house is 11 months old. The AC is out and this website says there is 24/7 emergency services. I have been calling the emergency line non-stop since 11:00pm and it’s now 1:00am. Who the heck is even working the after hours tech line? Don’t publicize and promise 24/7 emergency services when I’m in an emergency and no one is contacting me!

Very disappointed with Sunrise Heating and Cooling. We have lived in our newly constructed home for 1.5 years and our AC compressor went out completely. Compressors can go out early, but this is very uncommon. Most compressors last 10-15 years. The motor and dual capacitor were both fine and the compressor was grounded. Through my research, in most situations (not all), this is due to an overcharge of liquid refrigerant. I explained this to the service department at Sunrise and all they did is argue and say that there is nothing that they can do for me except to feel bad for me. They only have a 1 year workmanship warranty (there's a lot of companies out there that have more than one year). Since this happened outside the 1 year mark, they just say there is nothing we can do for you. They did say they would send out a technician for $85 (seems high to me), but when I pressed them, they said they would send him out for free and then just apply the $85 to the labor cost of replacing the compressor--a charge of $1100-$1300. I had quotes from 2 different quality AC companies to replace the compressor for $650, if Sunrise wouldn't cover the labor cost (which of course, they did not.) Sunrise took no responsibility and made little to no effort to extend themselves to figure out the problem for us. I am not a happy customer and will not use them in the future mostly for two reasons. 1. They are more expensive than other quality AC companies in the valley and 2. Poor customer service by showing little care for the situation and taking no responsibility.

Sunrise installed the equipment at my new home I purchased. I tried calling the company to get the information to warranty the equipment. After calling 6 times and leaving 6 messages with 6 different voicemails, I went online and had to email them 2 (two) times to get the info. HOW SAD. I was an Office Manager for an HVAC company for over 20 years, and my girls would have been fired for not handling a call/email after 6 times. GET IT TOGETHER SUNRISE!!!!!!!!
I moved into a brand new house at the end of March 2023 and my AC unit has malfunctioned four times, three of them were within the span of one week (the week of July 11). It all started on 6/19/2023 when the AC stopped working in the middle of the night and I woke up in sweats. A tech from Sunrise showed up and said the reason was the float switch being at the wrong place (see pic 1). BTW I was forced to take a day off from work that day because I wasn't able to fall asleep in 80F+ temperature. Then on July 12 the AC failed to cool properly, Sunrise sent techs out and told me it was caused by leaks and malfunctioned damper (see pic 2). Then just 4 days later on 7/16 the AC failed to cool down again and Sunrise's tech came and told me it was the malfunctioned damper AGAIN (see pic 3), which means they did not fix the problem 4 days ago. Then on 7/19, exactly 3 days after the last repair the whole AC unit was shut down and woke me up from my sleep again in the middle of the night. When they finally decided to show up at 12pm that day, they looked at it and told me the float switch was unconventionally attached to the PVC drain pipe rather than the secondary drain pan so the condensation on the pipe falsely triggered the float switch and the unit was shut down. If you have been keeping track you would know that the positioning of the float switch was the cause of the shutdown on 6/19, which means they did not properly fix the issue the first time!! BTW the temperatures in the week of 7/11 was in triple digits all week.
To sum up, the last two repairs could have been avoided had they been competent enough the first two times. The level of incompetency is astonishing. And this is a brand NEW unit!! BTW I requested the owner of this company to call me on 7/19 to explain all these to me and I am still waiting to speak to this person at the time of this writing. Excellent customer service!
If you want to wake up in sweat in the middle of a hot summer night and have your brand new AC unit be serviced on repeatedly on the same issues, let Sunrise HVAC take care of you. If not, look elsewhere and avoid them like the plague.
Made an appointment and agreed on a time for the service man to arrive.
The appointed time went by and I called to ask where the serviceman was, I was told he would arrive at the same time the next day. The next day appointment time came and again no show. I am done with them. I am looking for some one else.

Unfortunately, our AC went out in the middle of the summer. Our home is a brand new home that is one year old. It was determined that the compressor in the unit was bad which it shouldn’t have been for being such a brand new unit. I was able to coordinate with my home builder which then coordinated with Sunrise to get the issue resolved. Had the privilege of dealing with Dan R. at Sunrise who was very professional and was awesome overall guy. Dan and I kept in contact over the few days and he was able to get back out with the new part and install it in a couple of days. Overall great company and great professionalism from their employees. Will continue to contact this company with any AC issues as the years go by.

They came to fix upstairs and down stairs ac units, he fixed the upper and said it's good to go, but the down stairs needed a new motor. So 30 mins goes by wondering where hes at, I go look and hes gone, I call him he says he doesn't have the motor and that he has to come back tomorrow, he also says you have ac upstairs I said what about my mom that lives downstairs, nothing. He agreed to come back after 10am the next day, he didnt show up till 8:30pm, so my mom slept in the heat and was in the heat all day. When we spoke he said hes in North Las Vegas, I'm sorry but you started a job with us, you finish asap not 12 hours later. So I see how they treat the elderly, he didnt care the my mom had no heat. I called his boss the next day and he wouldn't even call me back. This place has horrible customer service, I'm so pissed that they made my mom stay in the heat. As soon as my warranty is up I will go to somewhere else.

We have been using Sunrise Service, Inc. for many years for our home as well as a rental property. We have always been exceptionally satisfied with the service. The technician that we always request is Jose Ortiz. He is very knowledgeable and extremely professional. He is always on time and very helpful with any of our air conditioning or heating concerns. I highly recommend Jose Ortiz and Sunrise Service, Inc.
Thank goodness they have general contractors to review them and are to lazy to go find a good HVAC company. They are over priced and do crappy work. My general contractor had them put two new units on a building and move a swamp cooler. The broke the swamp cooler in the process of moving it and then wanted to charge me $700 to fix it. I called my own people and showed them the contract and they told me that they would have done the same work for $600 less and would have not charged to fix the issue with the swamp cooler that was not hooked up right after the move. Maybe there prices would not be so high if they did not have to do so much paper work that makes no sense. Liens on property from day one.
Update So I hired another company to come over and look at the swamp cooler that this POS company moved to have them give me a bid. The new company showed me how the swamp cooler was only half hooked up they did not hook up the water pump. No wonder it does not work. Sunrise Mechanical is unethical or stupid so find another company

Sunrise replaced our HVAC system. They were professional, clean and quick. Michael Hahn was our representative and followed through from quote to finish. We could not be happier with Sunrise.
I work in the hvac field on the commercial side and had a warranty issue with my home , that was missed on installation . They informed me over the phone that they weren’t responsible for that specific issue but they would still send a tech out . Here’s what justified the 5 stars , warranty tech Johnny , came out confirmed the issue , and he called the builder and got an electrician out for me even when my construction supervisor , Kb customer and warranty service and the electricians weren’t answering . The electrician was at the door before he even left . Much respect for Johnny he deserves a raise . He’s the reason I’m not being a cranky home owner right now so dispatch owes him lunch lol

Good company to work for
Our builder used Sunrise to install two AirKing AK200LS exhaust fans in our garage to remove some of the hot air so the aircon could work. One of the fans developed an extreme rattle. On June 1, Sunrise's tech determined that the fan was defective and needed to be replaced under warranty. Since then, crickets. Sunrise didn't even have my paperwork on file, I sent it to them. Twice, because they also lost the first set I sent them. While waiting for the new fan, we have called over and over and over to find out what's going on. We've been passed around from Donna, then to Jan and now to Hailey. Nobody returns calls. If you actually reach someone, they promise to look up the status and call you back, but NOBODY EVER RETURNS CALLS! Then I found out that the fan has been readily available online from numerous suppliers, including Ferguson here in town, but Sunrise won't use any source but their own (unidentified) distributor. Apparently their distributor is incapable of getting the same fan I could order online and have tomorrow. This kind of BS has gone on now for SEVEN WEEKS. The last word was that the fan would be in July 18 and we'll call you, but guess what, 3 days later nobody has called. They don't even bother to call to say it wasn't delivered. Are they completely incapable of returning calls? I've been patient for weeks now but this is too much. This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with.
The techs are fine, and probably very knowledgeable (quite ignorant when it comes to HVAC) the issue I have had has to do with scheduling. I bought a new home in December and since April we noticed we had AC issues. I schedule an appointment and the tech doesn’t show up. Turns out they scheduled a different day. The issue wasn’t resolved and I had to make numerous work requests (6 by my count) and 4 of the 6 the techs did not show up. I am constantly given excuses in an attempt to overlook their unprofessional. Excuses include “the tech couldn’t make it because he was stuck in traffic, our guy fell through the ceiling, we only have two techs etc”. My main issue is that they wait hours until after my appointment to tell me some excuse. As I write this I am waiting on yet another technician to fix my AC. We have waited 6 hours and it’s 91 in our house. We were fed another excuse that the tech will be at our home at 1130PM (2 1/2 hours after our appointment window.)
When my husband asks me to write a review for a business we used, they must have done a phenomenal job. Sunrise was able to repair our A/C. Brandon and Raymond were the techs assigned to our residence and they did an excellent job in fixing the problem. We appreciate it very much! Dave and the team at Sunrise helped us out of a bind where another contractor let us down with poor quality work. They were courteous, always on time and willing to work through a challenging situation with the county (is there any other kind?!). Very knowledgeable, highly recommended.
