It's Sunday afternoon and the two plumbing repairs I attempted went very wrong. Randy C. arrived quickly and made the repairs necessary to undo what I did. I am so relieved! I was able to turn my water back on without fear of flooding! They advertise 24/7 Emergency Plumbing Repairs and they delivered!

Need plumbing done in St Louis? Be sure to check with Sutter!

Local company with excellent service. We had Sutter install a new hot water heater with expansion tank. Walter, our installer, was very professional and knew exactly what needed to be done in order to get the new system running.

Install area was clean when done and we have had no issues with the new tank (8 weeks since install).

Beware of this outfit. My water heater sprung a leak from the drain valve so I called them for a repair estimate. They asked me to text them pictures of the unit and where it was leaking, which I did. Back came an email with the estimate: $2,900 for installing a new water heater. No explanation why it couldn't be repaired; no consultation with a plumber about the pros and cons of repair versus replacement. Just $2,900 for a new water heater. So I decided to fix it myself. Removed the leaking valve, drove to Home Depot and bought a replacement, and screwed in the new valve. Fired her back up and she works like a charm again. Cost? $10 for the valve from Home Depot; tips from Kevin on doing the job were free. Unfortunately, these are the people (as Classic Aire Care) who took over Averill Heating and Cooling after Mr. Averill passed away. Like I said at the outset. buyer beware.

The HOA for our building used these guys to replace valves in our building. They left the water running in our bathtub with it plugged. When we got home the tub had over flown and flooded the loft. The water was dripping down the stairs and had was pooling on our wood floors. very careless service.

(UPDATE: After much back and forth, they agreed to give me a refund, yet never admitted that they had made a mistake) Sutter used to be a good company before they were purchased by Classic Air Care. If I could, I'd give them zero stars. This year I've had to use them twice now in one month. They charged me full price for the second visit even though, I suspect and the evidence suggests, they didn't do a thorough job the first time. They, of course, never represented to me that, after paying them to snake my main line, problems could still persist. Had I known that that was a possibility, we would have a different story. As far as I knew, my main line had been cleared. Then it started backing up again and they claim that they can't guarantee their work will completely clear the line. Are you kidding??? Charged full price. The manager Dave tells me that he has to rely on the notes of his employees and trust that they are being honest...sorry, that's not very comforting to me. Of course I can't prove it, but it seems to me that they do the job half a$$ the first time so that they can charge you again the second time. Again, just my assumption but, nonetheless, I will never use their service again. Attached is a photo of the gob of roots they pulled out on the second visit. That's a lot of roots to miss the first time around. Never again will I use their service. I feel completely ripped off.
