They did another great job for us! Very professional organization!
They are available on the weekend and always give a time window for when the Technician will be there. If that time changes for any reason they always call before hand to let you know.

Expensive! Cost over $400 to unclog two drains! But they were friendly and responsive.

The Roto Rooter in Nicholasville was very pleasant from making the appointment to the plumber fixing to clog pipe. Gave me a quote prior to fixing the clogged drain and did a great job. No mess no fuss. Will definitely use again if another problem occurs.

It was a stressful situation (as most plumbing repairs are) which took time due to limited access to the lines in my townhome. Jacob was optimistic, determined and skillful in locating the blockage and finding a solution to the problem. They were professional, kind and kept me informed throughout the entire process. They all treated me like family and I trusted them which also reduced the stress associated with home maintenance problems experienced by those of us with limited knowledge about plumbing. Would not recommend using roto rooter in lexington ky unless u have a extra $300 you can afford to spend on unclogging a kitchen drain . Service man was here a hr used a big electric snake and he said they have a flat charge of $273.00 for a clogged kitchen sink . I would definitely recommend trying someone more affordable if you can first because whether it takes 10 mins or 4 hrs you are paying atleast $275.00 no matter what .

After multiple calls and expense over the last 3 years, I called Roto-Rooter. What a change! Joel Marlow my technician came out looked at my sewer with a camera explained to me what he saw, and fit me in the next day. He spent the whole day replacing and installing new piping and in fact found the problem no one else had found. He put in a new clean out and stayed even into the dark to make sure my system was working. After spending over 10,000 dollars on previous repairs that didn’t fix the problem my first call will always be Roto-Rooter!

Replaced/relined sewer pipes, redirected sump pump drainage to storm sewer. Very pleasant and easy to work with, called when they were on the way, even put back a hosta they'd had to dig up. Came in much cheaper and faster than the other quote I had for the same work.

Last night at Georgetown-Scott County EMS we had a plumbing emergency, our sewer began to back up into our building and caused quite a mess. Brian Smalley responded to our station late at night to come and resolve our problem. He unclogged our sewage line, fixed and reset our toilet and then he even offered to mop up the mess after everything was resolved. Brian was awesome!! We would love to have him back if we ever run into another problem. Thank you Brian!!

Amazing! Came out last minute on a Sunday to fix a toilet emergency at our restaurant. No one else would come until next day and they came within hours. Professional, fast, great work = highly recommend!

Called for an emergency. Bad leak from the connector to my tub faucet. The gentleman on the phone became angry and hostile when I asked him for rate information. He abruptly put me on hold without warning in mid sentence. I waited the 3 minutes til he came back. He said he had 3 other calls coming in and I was taking up too much time. Never got my question answered which was simply if they charge a flat rate to come out or after the job was done. This seems like a routine question. My wife could hear him grow upset with me and also couldn't believe how he was talking to me.

He basically said they weren't doing emergency plumbing and had no plumbers operating, though it clearly says on Google and their website they do 24 hour service. I was just trying to find out IF there was a minimum cost to come to my house. I didn't even care what the rate was. He said he had absolutely no information about that, so we never got that far. I was also advised to call my local municipality to turn the water to my house off when this should have been a simple fix.

I was able to get a local friend who knows some about plumbing to come out give me a stop-gap temporary fix to slow it to a drip until I could find a professional tomorrow.

This happened close to 2 AM. I was already stressed from waking up to a serious leak under my tub. I didn't need someone getting smart with me on top of it. Unreal. I even asked him to please relax. I am writing this at 3 and I am still amped up from the way I was treated. I run a local business. I honestly don't even know what I would do if my secretary treated someone like that during an emergency. Will use any other service before this.

We recently had a water damage and roto rooters took care of everything in a very professional way. They have state of the art equipment, they are super nice, clean and serious. Amazing team, and Sarah is great!

What a great experience all the way around. We had a clogged sewer line, and everything in the house had to stop. Toilet, tub, kitchen sink, dishwasher, washing machine--well, you get the idea.
Every place I called was super busy and couldn't get us in today. Roto Rooter was the earliest, but it was the next day. Imagine how surprised I was to get a call from them saying they had an opening right then.
The plumber, Zach, was really nice. He took a look at things and gave us the estimate. It was better than I expected. He got right to work and soon had it done.
I am so pleased with this company, from the nice dispatcher who worked to get us in early, to the great price, to the fabulous service from Zach. I hope I don't have this problem again, but if I do I am definitely calling Roto Rooter!!

Great customer service and on-site repair work!

I almost threw out my washing machine thinking it was leaking but it turned out to be a clog in the line that is shared by the washing machine and the dishwasher. Roto rooter came within an hour of my call and did an awesome job - the clog was fixed in less than an hour as well. Everything was quoted before sevices, step by step, and I got a 6 month warranty included in the price. The water cleanup service was an awesome bonus especially since she showed me how to file an insirance claim which covers rwplacement of my entire basement carpet and bathroom floor as well as damaged baseboards. The rep/techs helped a lot. I am very grateful for such prompt service.

Jacob Kincaid was sent as the technician. He really went above and beyond the call of duty! I had a blocked sewer line in a rental property and he came out in the evening, the day before a holiday, and got it fixed. I only had to wait a few hours after I made the phone call to get a technician to the property. It was fixed after just a few hours of hard work by Jacob. I am very impressed and will do business with this company again.

Placed a request at 730am and tech was onsite by 9! Then the Techs that came out were awesome. They got me up and running by end of day and spent all day here (8 hours) and shopping for parts and then worked in pour down rain and in very tight spaces. They were sensitive to my dog being around and having to work around a terrible space layout. Clean up was thorough as well. Only downside is it was more expensive than some others but they were so fast to get me fixed up, the work is warranties, & he did a good job so it was worth the extra cost.

The guys that came to do a water heater install were very professional,efficient, and extremely nice!! Did a fantastic job!!!! Would highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs!!!

We had a plumber come out and snake our drain yesterday, he was here within an hour of me calling! He was polite and communicated all the details I needed to know. He got right to work and fixed our drain. He even put my dryer back and re-connected the exhaust hose which I thought was super nice of him!

Brian Garrett and Triston Robertson are very professional and hardworking, they are very dedicated to getting the job done right. They diagnosed the blockage in my sewer line and hand dug to find and repair the blocked line, and even replanted my daughters flowers when the project was completed. They kept me informed of every step of the repair process. I would highly recommend Roto -Rooter to any one needing plumbing repairs.

Came to address one problem, determined that what I asked for would be a waste of my money and what to do myself to better deal with it, and then at my request to take a look at something bothering me, he fixed another, bigger problem that was an ongoing issue that was damaging my home worse than I knew. Kudos to Roto Rooter for efficient and clean service! This morning we had a blockage in our plumbing. I called our usual plumber, who spent 2 1/2 hours, but was unable to fix it and who created a huge mess in our basement when he cut a pipe. At this point, I called Roto Rooter. Despite the fact that it was a Saturday afternoon, the service technician (Chase) arrived quickly. Instead of cutting pipes, the service technician did careful diagnostics to determine where the blockage was and then efficiently removed the blockage from the affected pipe with ZERO mess. Despite working inside our house on messy drains, he was extremely careful and neat. I was very appreciative to have my home treated so respectfully. Roto Rooter's fees were also very reasonable, especially considering a weekend emergency service call. Overall I was very impressed with the service we received.

I’m a contractor and they are my go to when I’m in a pinch. Always very honest and do whatever they can to help me.

Dale arrived st time promised, assessed the issue and gave me two different options and estimates. After I chose the option, he promptly started on the problem and had it fixed quickly. LOUIS ORAMA was called on a Sunday evening to our home following a sewage pipe burst in our basement. We were unsure how long the problem had been going on since my parents do not go down into the basement. Since the issues had been happening for an extended period of time, the content of the drain had covered the ground and extend throughout other areas of the basement. LOUIS arrived on time and spent around 2 hours taking pictures and assessing the damage in all areas of the basement. LOUIS contacted the insurance company and was able to get the process started that night. LOUIS explained every step of the process and was very respectful and professional despite the unimaginable mess. Once the arrangements were made for LOUIS and his team to start the clean-out process, LOUIS was in constant communication with our parents (who are elderly) and showed them every object which he thought may be salvageable. I cannot say enough how kind and respectful LOUIS was to our parents. He would call every day when he was on his way. He would keep them and my brother and I up to date on the progress. Louis set up barriers to keep everyone safe. Once the clean -out was completed, LOUIS then started the process to remove all contaminant and mold from the entire basement. This was followed by dying out the basement. LOUIS came every day to check on the drying out process and took care of anything else that may have come up. Again, I cannot say how fortunate we were to have LOUIS be the person from Roto-Rooter to be assigned to our home. LOUIS was very knowledgeable, very detailed, and most of all RESPECTFUL and KIND to our parents LOUIS also called after he was finished with the project to make sure there were no new issues. We highly recommend LOUIS ORAMA and expressed that to our insurance company and will recommend him to anyone who requires roto-rooter service.

EDIT: The clog reappeared 2 days later, and the apartment had to hire someone else to properly fix it. I am editing the rating to reflect that the problem was only temporarily solved. I've left the original review untouched below.

Woke up to standing drainage water in both mine and my roommates showers. Called our apartment complex to get the problem fixed, and they hired Roto-Rooter to take care of it. Because it was a sunday, there were only a couple tech's available, so it took a while before one could get to us.

Around 6:30PM, Arturo from Roto-Rooter arrived to help us. Took about 10 minutes to get an estimate, and about 45 to get our apartment owner to approve the work. Once he got to work though, Arturo was quick and efficient, and was able to locate the clog and remove it in about an hour.

Arturo was polite and a pleasure to talk to the entire time. He also informed us of what is likely the cause of the blockage(long, multi-apartment shared drainage pipe at a shallow angle). Muchas gracias Arturo!

The technician came out and took his time to really locate the cause of the drain problem and then went right to work to fix a problem that wasn't really very obvious. The repairs were successful and we are very happy with his diligent efforts to solve our problem.

Had a corroded pipe leaking over the ceiling in our basement. Because we’ve received such amazing service from Roto Rooter in the past, they were my 1st choice to make this repair. From scheduling to finished repair, they were quick, professional, friendly and efficient. The service was all completed in a timely manner, no mess to clean up and the price certainly didn’t break the bank.

In the uncertain times of this new normal in which we all find ourselves, one thing i know I can depend on is a wonderful experience with Roto Rooter. Thank you, guys so much!

Roto-Rooter saved our Sunday!!! 1 bathroom in house and shower and toilet stopped draining! Yikes!! Larry was here 2 hours after distress call made. In a little over an hour the issue was resolved!!! Bonus- Larry talked to our dog! You know that goes a long way with parents of fur babies!

We've now had Roto Rooter in Lexington, KY come out 3 times for different problems (replace our main water shutoff + a sink shutoff, unclog a bathroom drain, reset a leaky and uneven toilet) in all three cases, they came out very quickly, fixed the problem, and left things tidy afterward. In the case of the leaky toilet they came out the same day.

Today Jacob was the person who fixed the issue, and he was really wonderful and pushed me over the edge on writing a review.

2 of these events have happened during the pandemic and in both cases they wore a mask the whole time (which we really appreciated).

The prices seemed fair to me (not a ton of reference points), but i am not a penny-pincher when paying for fairly-compensated skilled labor.
