Fast, efficient, friendly, excellent value and on time! We just had a bad experience with another plumbing outfit, so we were a bit apprehensive. So what a pleasant surprise when Daniel shows up and does a great job. Right on time, he gets to work first with scoping the problem and asking questions, giving us options including cost and patiently fields our questions to help us arrive at the best solution for us. Daniel quickly got to work and did thorough testing to insure the job was done right, the first time. He fielded a few more questions and further helped to educate us on things to look out for and then thanked us for the service call and off he went. Bottom line - we will definitely recommend Calello Plumbing to friends and neighbors.

Called Calello plumbing at the suggestion of a neighbor who had had an excellent experience with this company. Mark came out quickly as it was an emergency situation even though it was after working hours. He was the most polite, professional service person I believe I’ve ever had. He was quickly able to pinpoint the source of our water leak and repair it. The cost was very reasonable as well. He himself also had very positive things to say about the company he worked for and I always feel like that is a true sign of a good employer/company. Just thrilled to see a young man with such nice manners, so respectful and who enjoys and is good at his job. They are hard to find these days.

Had a non emergency slow leak and short list of other things needed to be fixed. Jay came out quickly the next morning to take care of them. Im doing some remolding and had a cosmetic fix. I didn't think of the cosmetic fix but since Jay was already here I asked for his help so he ordered some parts and was out the following day to take care. I had a last minute leak pop up 1st thing Monday morning. Jay arrived in a timely manner. He was professional and friendly as well as a willing teacher..I am a new landlord so anything I can pick up is helpful. Price was very reasonable and all the work was done to completion . I will certainly return to Calello for my plumbing needs.

I contacted Calello Plumbing for a new water softener that I needed in my home. They took the time to discuss with me the best option for my house. Just had one of their guys come out and change the element. Just one element: $225.00
Of course they use the cheapest product. Expensive but it was done.

Of course after he leaves I realize the tank is pumping wanter out via the relief valve. Which not sure why not on the same visit. I call and you guess it $$$$$$$ another $150. Not this time!, paid $11 and took me a whole 5 min to replace.

Mind you this is a very small water heater. Which the sencond guy told me “yes needs to be replaced” before getting to my place. And of course $$$$$$$

So I asked the original guy, hey can you take a look a the delta shower valve cause it’s lose,l. He start using a drill to remove, im like what the heck? figure he has a plumbers technique. Nope could not do it. A “plumber” who can’t tighten a standard delta faucet. I think allen wrenches must have gone into hiding.
Did that myself as well.

Horrible experience with them. The project managers never respond to emails or texts for weeks to months at a time. Then when they make mistakes they wont own up to it and try pushing it off on to your other trades. The actual plumbers themselves that come out are nice people and do a decent job but the people running the company are ruining it. Personally do not recommend, especially in todays market where you’re doing your best to get things done.

We are so thrilled with our recent experience with Mark at Calello Plumbing. We called several plumbers to get a long-standing issue with a flooding washing machine drain line resolved. Calello Plumbing was head-and-shoulders above the other plumbers we called. Mark really took his time to find out what the problem was, and tested to make sure it really was the problem he thought.

The estimate to complete the work was fair, they showed up on time and fixed it a few days later. I am happy to report that after dealing with our washing machine backing up for the past 18 months, the issue is now 100% resolved.

OK, now it is 3 years later, 2020. I could not find how to do a new review so I am doing a follow-up to my last review. Here goes: I was so pleased with Calello Plumbing the first time that I hired them again for two leaks. This time they sent out Jake and Ahisbel. These men were outstanding. What phenomenal work and at a great price. Courteous, friendly knowledgeable - really, really nice.. Their work was awesome. If you don't hire Calello you're nuts! Ditto if you don't ask for Jake and Ahisbel. That is twice I have used and received awesome service from this company.

I called Calello Plumbing because my water heater elements .... upper and lower were bad. These were tested prior to my call so I already was aware of the problem. Jay and another very young plummer came out to do the water heater rebuild. They were pleasant and friendly however that isn't enough to do a job.
After bringing the wrong elements to my house they had to go to HOME DEPOT to purchase shorter stubby elements... the young plummer wasn't going to sweep out the sediments from the water heater originally but Jay thought that was the reason why the elements that was too long didn't fit. He did perform the sweeping then installed the shorter elements and proceeded to hook up the positive and ground electrical wires back up. 3 or 4 different ways! Both plummer had no idea how to hook the power wires back up to make the water heater work!
I was told that it was functioning and would heat up in 20 minutes. After 3 DAYS 3 PHONE CALLS TO THEIR OFFICE, 3 DAYS OF COLD SHOWERS AND COLD WATER, AND 3 DIFFERENT PLUMMERS INCLUDING MARK JAY AND another YOUNG GUY of coming to my house, I was told that the water heater was burned up and was unrepairable and Jay even went as far as to say that he smelled burnt wiring and insinuated that it had be messed with. They offered to do a $350.00 install for the $285.00 that I paid to repair if I bought a new water heater. I told them I would think about it and let them know ... and the VERY NEXT DAY, MY BROYHER IN LAW who is HVAC certified came to my house .... to FIND THE THE WATER HEATER POWER WIRES WERE HOOKED UP BACKWARDS and there was NOTHING BURNED OUT AT ALL!!!
After 30 seconds, it was hooked back up and fully operational and heated up in 20 minutes with NO FURTHER ISSUES!!

In fairness, they did refund my money .... but that wasn't the issue. The issue is THEY COULDN'T COMPLETE A JOB and even after coming out 3 times.... they still could not figure out that THEY wired it back up with new elements BACKWARDS!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!

There aren't many plumbing companies in Pinellas County with serious gas work credentials -- at least we couldn't find them, until now. Calello Plumbing is the go to company for any gas line leaks or other problems. Ok, lots of folks can hook up a dryer or hot water heater...BUT try fixing an underground line from the meter to the other side of the house. Well, they did it! And without having to break up our whole pool deck.

Jay at Calello Plumbing is the man! Experienced, knowledgeable, polite and prompt. He handled our complex job quickly, efficiently and within an acceptable budget. I doubt there are many more qualified guys out there to work on your gas line issues. Thank you, Jay.

We developed a water leak. Calello sent a plumbing tech immediately on a Friday afternoon and we discovered it was a slab leak. No charge for this visit. Sonar done to slab and leak located. Calello was at the house promply in the morning. Tech worked all day. Final cost was lower than estimate in spite of having to do a second slab hole when the sonar company was off by a few feet. Tech Steve is an energizer bunny!...who keeps on going, and going... They'll be my first call again should I ever have another plumbing emergency!

Service is good but very expensive. $250 to cut and replace 1 inch of plastic pipe that took 15 min (technician was really good!). Used their service in the past and was very satisfied, we paid the same amount to replace shower metal pipe and it was done on Sunday (I believe double price). This time it was normal working day. Asked about water heater draining for future service, was told it takes 1-1.5 hour and the price is $185. Fee doesn't properly reflect technician efforts/time. Will look at another service, really too expensive...

Jake and Ahisbel are the best plumbers in Tampa! They are friendly, yet professional. They did incredible work. They ran into a couple of complicated problems, but they were able to solve them with no problem. They went out of their way to make sure things were done correctly as well. I just had a serious plumbing emergency. Calello sent a technician on Sunday morning, at the exact time they said they would! Thoroughly inspected and diagnosed the problem and provided the estimate on the spot. The estimate was very fair and they completed the work in 3 hours.
