Cory came today to service our furnace. He was very polite and friendly which is important when you are dealing with the public. He was thorough and told me about the mechanical condition of my furnace.
Prompt service and technician found and fixed our burned out capacitor problem in a very efficient manner. He was courteous and helpful.
have had very good interactions with this company. they installed a new unit in 2016. have had them out 3 times with issues, have always resolved them in a timely manner this last one corey did a very good job finding a difficult problem. he didn't give up until it was resolved .

Masters installed an entire geothermal system at our new build, and handled every detail from start to finish with impeccable attention to detail. Our minimal knowledge of geothermal had us initially excited but we had tons of questions. One call from John at Masters completely put us at ease. He answered every question, and expertly guided us through the process. We now understand that improper installation of these systems is the main cause for problems, so having the best pros in the industry at Masters became everything to us. We feel lucky to have such an important system of our home installed by the guys that know how to do it right. This is who Mike Holmes would recommend hands down. Go with Masters. I was able to get serviced on a Saturday. Bryce was on time, friendly and repaired the issue quickly. He provided excellent advice and information around the current state of the furnace and what to look for when replacing the unit in the future. This is the second time I’ve used Master’s and will continue to trust them for my needs.

We had a great experience. Called this afternoon and they answered the phone on the first ring and were able to send someone within 4 hours to our home that felt like 100 degrees! Then when the tech was on his way we got a text message with his picture and a brief bio. He also called to apologize that it was near the end of the time window ( but it was in the window) . Then the whole time he was very friendly and professional and got the job done and our home is cooling again. He went above and beyond too by taking some extra small steps above what we hired him to do.Thanks Levi!
Mike was professional and made room in his schedule to come out and fix a problem with my furnace. He found out it was a smaller repair than initially thought and we were charged a fair price. I have used Masters before and never had a problem with their service.
Corey arrived within the specified timeframe, was extremely polite, and immediately began work. He kept me advised as to his progress and was extremely neat leaving no visible sign that he was even there. I appreciated the job he performed and would happy to have him service my Trane AC/heating unit in the future.

Originally when I called the receptionist said it would be about 3-4 weeks before they could come but, she said that she would have the local technician call to confirm. Not 10 minutes later the technician called and, said he had an opening next week. Not only was he there when he said he would be but, he was early!!! My furnace is a dinosaur and, though he was going to try and, sell me a new one. He didn't!!! Chris did a tune up and, made a few suggestions on what needed to be done down the road. That was it!!! He did a really great job!!!! Thanks a lot!!!

A great experience with Masters heating & cooling. My technician Victor Ward was very pleasant and respectful to me and my home. I like how he took the time to show and explain my issues with my ac and the different options he showed me in order to be able to rectify the situation. I felt that he was a very honest person. I really don't have any other experience to guage the affordability by but once again he gave me options and let me pick what was affordable for me. Will continue to use them from here on out.
We just chose Master’s to replace our 29 year old furnace and air conditioning. The pricing was good and the install was fantastic. You can’t go wrong with Master’s

I am very well satisfied with the service Master's provided to me. They were as prompt as they could be after having to order the part and they honored the fact I'm a platinum service contract member. The only complaint would be the cold cigarette butt my wife cleaned up in the driveway.

long story short, furnace stop running, call out Masters repair guy he check for Carbon and told me I needed a new Heat Exchanger. $1100.00. he told me they would have the salesman call me to negotiate on a new furnace $3000-$5000, or just replace the old H.E. 5days go by never heard from them. like I stated long story short my issue wasn't the H.E. it was a $12 dollar blower motor capacitor, it stop holding the charge to spin up the blower motor. So What did I not like about this business? well seem to me their whole end game was to sell me a brand new furnace vs repairing a simple issue, And My house had no heat for 5days waiting on a return call from them. I just hope the trainee that was with him don't pick up these traits

Great service! Cameron was very helpful. I usually don’t write reviews for services like this, because I’m not especially mechanically inclined. However, Cameron explained everything that he was doing and answered all my questions, as well as giving me tips for future maintenance and ideas on how to make my system run more efficiently. I always appreciate when someone takes the time to lay out the specifics of the repair they are completing, and he definitely put my mind at ease. He was friendly and efficient, and helped clean up after the job. During the first diagnostic visit, Jacob was also very polite and helpful and Taylor went out of her way to ask the techs questions while setting up my appointment prior to the visit so that I could understand what was going on. I’ll definitely be calling Masters in the future for all my HVAC needs. Thanks!

We have used Masters for our HVAC systems since purchasing a house in 2018. We have won a furnace from Masters and purchased a new AC unit from Masters since that time. We just had our yearly furnace check up done by Gabe Hess, and we continue to be extremely satisfied with the service. We appreciate that we get a call 20minutes before they arrive so that we can put our dogs away without scrambling to do so after a knock at the door. Gabe was honest with me when he saw something he was unsure of regarding one of the sensors in the furnace. He was able to get guidance from his boss very quickly, and was able to provide me with a quote for the cost of the repair if it is required in the near future. We have been recommending Masters to everyone in the area since our first furnace check up in 2018 and will continue to do so!

I own a duplex in Columbia City. One side was having trouble with their furnace. Called and was told since I was a property owner not in their club they would not come provide service. The girl on the phone did not bother to give me information about joining their club for property owners. I'm thinking how do you join something if you have never needed the service? Oh well, too bad for them. I'm sure there is a business out there that would be glad to have my business. I own and manage 25 rentals thus far.
After arriving home from our vacation in Aug this summer only to find our A/C was not working we called Masters that morning & a few days later we had a new HVAC system installed in one day. With todays Busy schedules & shortages of materials, This was Amazing. I believe it was Joe & Ben that arrived at 8:30 am on a Friday & was done & they were leaving at 3pm the same day with COLD air once again cooling our Home. They Were Both Awesome.
Today, a few weeks later after the install, Skip came out to double checked the system & tweaked a couple things to be sure the system was able to run as efficient as possible.

He took the time to coordinate with me via phone (including sending pictures and links to sites to help research) and explained everything he did. My initial rating of 3 stars was not fair. I had a new HVAC system installed - The techs that came out were very polite and professional. After they were finished and left, we noticed that the new AC unit was damaged. I called the next morning and spoke to the supervisor about the issue. He was very understanding and also noticed the damage. Later that day the techs came back out and replaced the unit. I was a little irritated this happened, but the promptness of correcting the issue made up for my irritation. I would recommend Masters Heating & Cooling.
Bryce was very professional and polite but, he told me he would totally disassemble my AC unit for my annual tune up as a comfort plan member. As I watched him, he brought no mechanicle tools, just his testing tools and a hose to clean my unit. All he checked in my basement was the filter, (which I do regularly). I'm just a little skeptical that we really got a complete service on my unit. The operations that he performed were not what I have seen in the past. He did check the temps on the outlet and return vents.

The receptionist was useless. Couldn't schedule any kind of an appointment. Many of us actually have jobs, need some sort of a window, not just when they get to it. After a 1 star review the company did reach out and try to rectify the situation, for that reason I've changed my stars rating to 3. I ended up using a different company for this repair, but I have used Master's in the past with good results.
Our tech James was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and professional in every way. He answered all our questions and explained potential future system upgrades. I’ve requested that he perform our future scheduled maintenance. He represents Masters very well and we couldn’t be happier with his visit! He “gets it”! 👍

Arin was very polite and truly professional. He put the protectors on his shoes before he came in the house and explained what he had done. He also showed me how to clear any clogs in the drain line in our Geothermal unit. Although this was just a regular “check up” on the unit, he told me that the unit was working better than spec. It is nice to have things explained at my level. Also it is nice to see young techs getting into get into this field.

Monte has been our service tech for past few years. Twice per year on our maintenance contract. He's always punctual and polite. He provides good service on our equipment, explains any needs we may have in a courteous fashion and make recommendations based on our needs. Definitely a gold star representative of Masters Heating & Cooling.
Masters Heating and Cooling technicians have been great. Most recently, Dennis has gone above and beyond to make my recent install of a new HVAC system with Masters Heating and Cooling a great experience. I have a newer Geothermal Furnace that was installed by a different company. I noticed it was not running right and my old company was no longer was willing to come out and look at it. I called masters who quickly sent out a tech and was able to get it running better than before and was able to fix the things the other company could not figure out or wanted to do. Thank you. Arin Did a great job as he always has done. He arrived on time and called before to let us know he was coming. He had to work in the rain cleaning out the outdoor compressor unit from all the leaves that had gather during the fall & winter and work in the hot attic to get the drain to the blower ready to go. Our technician; Dustin Casteel, arrived 10 minutes early, was very pleasant to talk to and did the work in good time. I am very pleased with him and the work he did.
When the AC stopped working on a hot day other places weren't going to be able to get to us for a week, but Masters gave a next day appointment. The repairman was professional and thorough and our unit was working again within the hour.

They came out to do an HVAC tune-up. Received a text 20min before they arrived. Very knowledgeable about the system and thermostat. Educated me on a few things. Professional and would use them again.
TERRIBLE SERVICE!! We called for a diagnostic because our furnace was making a ticking noise. They originally said that it was just a loose pin. By the time he left he said he “accidentally made it worse” and that it would need to be replaced entirely. They said not to run the heater at all until it’s fixed and refused to give any sort of discount for their mess up.
Came back from a weekend away to a boiling hot house. Masters H&C arrived the same day I called and the technician had me up and running in under an hour. 10/10

I would never recommend this company again. I hired them to install a new furnace and ac unit and it went well. I recently hired them to repair that same furnace and they left me hanging with no heat. Lied about coming back to fix it then refused to explain why they never came back. Had to wait 3 more days without heat until another company took care of me. Avoid using this company at all costs. I use to think they were good, not ever again

I felt the capacitor price was high, but would gladly use then again with more research on pricing/ quotes.

We had called them for an emergency no heat. Even when its -4 degrees out. They have no respect to help those who are in need of repairs needed done to the gas heater. Our air conditioner quit working on the hottest and most humid night last week. I called Master's at 8 am on Friday morning, fully expecting to wait days for service. Was so surprised they could look at it that afternoon. Tech Shelby called at 10 am to tell me he was on his way. He was very respectful and patient explaining everything to us. Repairs were completed in less than an hour and we had air again. Thank you for a great experience, Shelby!
Jeff was awesome. He came out after hours and got here within an hour. He was super quick identifying and fixing the problem. He took the time to explain everything to us. He also showed us other things we can do to make our furnace function better and things to look for if we have another issue.
He had the part in his truck*. The repair itself took about half an hour. I called their service at 7:45 pm and my furnace was fixed by 9:00 pm! Pretty cool.
The after hours price seemed on the high side, but I’m not sure what the going rate is in the area. Regardless, the cost was definitely worth it. Our dogs are very happy to be nice and warm again.
Masters will definitely be our go-to place.

Paul Wakeland was our service tech and he was AMAZING! I would recommend him and your company to anyone who asks. Not only was he fast and efficient, he was beyond polite. Paul also took the time to make sure I understood what he was doing. The last company who had to come out as an emergency one night walked in did 2 things made me pay and sign then walked out and 2 days later we needed more help. So greatful for your service. At most places customer service is gone not with Masters Heating and cooling.
Had a problem with our AC unit and they were able to come out and repair it promptly. They were entirely professional and courteous. I would hire them again in a heartbeat, and will definitely use them again when it's time for our yearly maintenance.

AC went out during the hottest days in late July. I had another company in to do quotes since they had a 24 hour call line and the AC went out after hours. Turned out their call line really just took the call, and scheduled repair for the next day. The guy who came to do the work could not quote a new system (what I really needed), and just took measurements. They were professional and I got a quote a few days later. David at Masters came out and actually was about to show up while the first company was still on the job, I let him know so he waited down the street (oops!) David gave me a quote right away, including a couple options and worked with me until I had just what I wanted so I signed up to get the work done. Of course, Masters had the units already on-hand, the only issue was they had work lined up ahead of me and if I recall right my install was a week or so out (better than I got from the other folks, but when it's near 100°F out it still was not soon enough for me.) I called & talked to Donna and she said she'd see what Masters could do. As it turned out they were able to shift a couple guys from a bigger install to do mine the next day without losing time on the other project. Duane showed up and had the install wrapped up by about noon that next day. I do not recommend service providers to people generally speaking, but I make an exception for Masters. Top notch people, top notch work.

We were having issues with our HVAC not producing cool air to cool our entire house. It was getting hotter despite our AC running. We called in for an Emergency Service and Cory Sharkey was able to rush out and diagnose and fix the issues on the spot! Got us back up and running within a couple hours! Need a new water heater. Call center couldn't provide even a range of prices, and wants to charge me $125 to just come to the house and assess whats wrong. Imagine paying $125, and then they show up and say, yeah that will be about $5000. I'd be out $125. The fact that they can't even provide a range like 1200-2000 or something like that is madnesss.
Routine annul inspection. The unit was operational until their work completed and nonfunctional when they left. Sent email and no response.
They broke electrical connection removing defective capacitor and wanted $536 to repair it (no joke?) I told them a capacitor was $9.00 on Amazon and new 6 wire $.41 at Home Depot. He left after trying to extort and I had capacitor next day and fifteen minutes later I was back in business. To say the least they have performed their last work for me.

They came out today to see what was wrong with our unit. He was great! Fixed our situation quickly. Was very nice, even wore booties over his boots after he went back outside. Very knowledgeable and quick! Answered all of my questions since I have never had a heating system (last home had baseboard heaters). Would recommend them highly!

Very unhappy with our decision to use Masters. We replaced our HVAC through them. Every year without fail we have to spend hundreds of $$ to have it repaired. One would think a new HVAC would not need major repairs for a few years after install. This has been a bad experience.

While I don’t want to change the 5 star rating since the new furnace, a/c and water heater, installation and service have been very good, I do want to note my dissatisfaction that service tech yesterday, Jeffrey S., was about to walk into my home unmasked until I asked if he were fully vaccinated. I remain amazed that so many in Indiana remain unvaccinated and so willing to expose the rest of us to this disease that has already killed almost 16,000 people in our mid size state.
John and Rick with Masters Heating & Cooling provided service to today. They were very competent, articulate and timely. This maintenance service gives me comfort that my heating and air-conditioning equipment is working, keeping us comfortable and safe. Well done.

I have so many words, and all of them good. My AC died last summer , and it was due for replacement . I went through 8 different companies for estimates, and masters really shined . The salesmen was prompt, courteous and professionall, took the time to answer my questions and give in depth explanations for my questions , he was very knowledgeable about not just the products they offered but applicable rebates through the state as well. It was a genuinely great experience working with him . The pricing was very fair and competitive as well. I called after the initial contact with questions , and he returned my call withing 20 minutes . That's some awesome customer service !!! I went ahead and scheduled the install for my new AC system , and the technician and his crew were prompt as could be. They went right to work , and knocked out my install. They even checked over my furnace for me while they were in it !!! They left zero mess!! I couldn't even tell they had been there !! Aside from the shiny new AC of course. There was even a plastic wrapper left from their work.
To make it even better, my thermostat tanked 5 days after install , so I gave them a call and they are hooking me up with a new thermostat, installed, in two days. That's awesome customer service that cannot be beat. As a homeowner , I dread dealing with service companies, but Masters made it as painless as possible. From the office staff to the service men, they have some great people and Do great work. 10/10 recommend, and they will be my go-to from here on out .
Suddenly had an issue with my AC not working properly during the hottest week of the year so far. The tech that came out, Caleb, was knowledgeable and easily explained the issue to me. Response on the repair was also quick once the part was in. I would definitely recommend this service if needed

As a former customer of theirs for nearly ten years, I had a generally good experience with them, however upon my latest attempt to schedule a regular maintenance check-up appointment with them, they told me that they couldn't get to me until January of next year (four months from now). I won't wait that long and I am now searching for a replacement HVAC contractor to meet my needs. If they are that under staffed then the odds are that if I have a heating or cooling failure that I'll be waiting for a long time before someone from Masters will show up to fix the problem.

Two weeks ago a service person came out to do routine maintenance on our geothermal unit. He thought there was a problem with one of the pumps on the unit and a work order was put in to replace the unit. Today a different technician came out to replace it and I asked if he could please Verify that it was not working. The technician determined that there was nothing wrong with the pump. I am very grateful for his honesty as he could’ve easily said it was broken and replaced it and then charged me with the labor fee. It’s nice to know there still honest companies out there. Thank you

Masters have been servicing our hvac for years. They always arrive on time and have always repaired or performed maintenance on our system to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend them.
Had masters out 4 time in 1 yr for problems with system not heating or cooling all 4 technicians replaced thermostat 2times replaced defrost board condenser motor and it was just a broken orange wire in thermostat wiring it was miss diagnosed 4 times after 1900 dollar in repairs technicians was complaining because I was hovering over him during repairs I feel the first technician Mike misdiagnosed the original problem due to improper trouble shooting all 4 technicians who came out was always in a hurry and complaining about how many calls they had tech Dennis didn't like anyone watching him work he charged 193 dollars to flip 2 wires which was spares in thermostat wiring didnt last 24 hours and conveniently the condenser fan motor went bad another 900dollars for a 200 dollar motor and tech blake wanted to do is make excuses on his other techs very disappointing during the year of problems I had a service contract and never found problems according to techs I questioned tech blake on a 69 dollar full evaluation of system check that just a code they use so they never did any full evaluation last 3 tech never even hooked up thier gages for no reading what so ever I feel due to misdiagnosed problems caused damage to my condenser unit I believe I should be refunded my money due to all the misdiagnosed issues thanks masters u prove again there is no honest people in the service field instead of proper trouble shooting they practice swaptronics very very upset with this company

After owning homes for over 40 years and using a number of heating/cooling companies, Masters is the only company we will allow to touch our equipment. They were here to do our Spring A/C service this week. No cursory once over lightly service. The furnace was opened, coil examined, fan speed adjusted, filter checked, gauges placed on both return and supply sides of the air ducting and a paintbrush was used all over the unit to assure it was clean. The outdoor unit was handled with equal care and detail. All electrical wiring and controls were checked and tested. Refrigerant pressures were checked (ours needed just a bit to run optimally). Then the top cover, fan section and all side panels were removed to all complete coil access and thorough cleaning. The fan section and all panels were cleaned prior to reassembly The tech even assured an annoying buzz between panels was eliminated during the reassembly process! Thanks to Jhon for doing such a great job! And thanks to Masters for being a great company!

Our air conditioner was not properly Cooling. Chris from Masters came injected some fluorescent dye indicating that we had a leak. He came back a couple weeks later and found a flare fitting that was leaking and repaired it. Now our house is nice and cool :-). Chris is a true professional who takes pride in doing his best.

Master's replaced a furnace for us back in Sept. They undercut a competitor by $4,000! We had our consultation & 2 days later it was installed. Fast forward to this past week when we had terrible storms. Afterwards, the furnace wasn't working. I called them & they were there less than 5 hours later. Very thorough & fixed in no time. Friendly service too! So thankful we had them instead of the other company.
We have been using Master's for at least 10 years for annual maintenance. I made an appointment back in February for my A/C to be serviced in the spring. The earliest appointment they had was the end of May. I just got a call cancelling our appointment because they had higher priority service calls. I was rescheduled for the end of July. This is unacceptable. We are loyal customers and made an appointment well in advance. I will be switching to another company after this service call. I prepaid so I want the service they owe me before I switch companies.

Dennis was the HVAC tech that Masters sent out. He was on time, thorough, professional, and made sure I understood why specific repairs were needed and what my repair options are. I will be using Masters for my future HVAC needs.

Masters Heating and Cooling are always a great company to deal with. The service guys are always great to deal with and office girls are always helpful when you call. The knowledge of the products they sell and maintain are a big help in todays unfriendly service world. From the day they installed my dual stage Central air/ heat pump unit I have never worried about my system.
Horrible people you guys have install furnaces you installed my high efficiency furnace not even 6 months ago and the two Geniuses to put it in screwed it up in the most dangerous way it's been leaking water on to the very top of my furnace running down inside of it it wasn't working today so I went to see the furnace only to find out I have drywall that's been falling on it from the water and my ceiling is covered in mold there super healthy to breathe in I have propane here at my place furnace gets wet furnace fries which could ignite the propane going into it well I don't feel like I need to explain the rest by the way it's cold and snowing where I am right now and I can't turn my furnace on great job geniuses I took plenty of pictures to and video
Hot, hot Saturday and John travelled 60 miles to fix my AC, and he still had a smile on his face and a pleasant attitude. OK, I lied about the smile because he was wearing a mask 😷, but I knew he was smiling underneath the mask!

Paul did well. Explained everything and was very friendly. Would recommend.
They installed a new furnace took out all pipes on roof and replaced with new then my roof leaked so come out redone it and guess what little over 2 weeks my roof is leaking again water running down the pipes they put in new. Plus on the new furnace again.

We have been Masters customers for many years and are not going anywhere. We appreciate your promptness, professional approach, kindness, and friendliness.
John didn't mess around. He completed his work. Briefed us on a part then he replaced that was about to go bad, and signed us up for our contract again, took payment, and moved on to his next call.
All your team members have been the same. Many, are over-friendly. We've seen photos of family dogs, heard about vacations, and the like. When we've had the time, we've enjoyed the discussion assuming he had the time in his schedule to do a little public relations with us. We knew John needed to get to his next call and he moved on promptly.
A neighbor had a recent call with Masters with excellent service followed by a long talk by your service man (1/2 hour) about how much he loved President Trump and how terrific his second term would be. We were glad to see he was not our service representative. We keep our politics to ourselves and pointedly do not discuss politics with anyone but very close friends and family. Who we vote for - either candidate - is a private matter for us. If he had been our service man, we would have cut the discussion short and reported the incident to you.
Our experience with John was different - terrific. He is excellent!

The tech arrived on the scheduled date. I was not at the residence when he arrived so it was planned for him to enter using a passcode for the door lock. He called before hand to tell me he was entering. He asked if there were any issues. I gave him two that were not directly related to the furnace operation. He resolved both of them. He called when he was ready to leave. I had various questions about the system and his analysis work he performed. He took the time to answer all my questions. It was a good normal experience you expect from beginning to end with Masters Heating and Air.
Serviceman Arin was very thorough in his job and explaining things so we could understand. Very professional service.
I called Tuesday morning and had a service tech there by noon that same day.

2 kids 2 dogs one mom...a preferred customer that i paid extra for....waited patiently for 18 days for one part for our funance. I had to call them every 2 days, only to be lied to about the part been shipped. The last time it was supposedly shipped on the 9th. Finally they left a message on the 15th that my part was coming at noon by UPS, that i was on the schedule for Saturday the 16th. Surprise...no call no show from anyone at masters. I called Monday only to be ask if they could call me back. I stated i was at work i would call back at lunch to discuss a discount on labor before the part was to be put in for waiting so long and using electric heaters and large water bill. They sent a technician to my home with out my permission and told the person that was here i sent them...455.00 dollars...full price quoted. I called manager; only for him to yell and say he never left a message about Saturday (i have voice mail) and it was convenient to put in part then since they had tech with my part was in the area...hmm wonder how that tech got my part in one hour and drove here so fast. So i ask for owner to call me back....the manager said he might and might not oh well. NO CALL YET. I am really upset on how it was all handled. Being i paid extra for preferred customer, just amazed on how I was treated. My next review will be with BBB in a few days. Think i should get my preferred money back as well.

Thought someting was gonna EXPLODE!!!!!!! 17 DEGREES and FREEEEZZZZZZZZIIIIIIING!!!!!! Called within 6 mo and complained about thermostat...they came out the 2nd time and charged over $100 The 3rd time charged $169.00. It's NOT keeping up!!!!!!!! I'M FFFRREEEEEZING!!!!!!!!!!! When they installed they were rude and barely talked to us. I have made several complaints about how the furnace is running to no avail. The thermostat does not function correctly. They checked it and said if i had anymore probs w them to let them know. When i did they just hooked up same ole thermostat. AND CHARGED over $100. It won't come on or turn Off when it should. It doesn't keep up at all like the other we had for 30 years...for 2-3 days recently I heard a bang like gas is trying to turn on every 15 - 60 sec When they came they changed the 'filter' and charged us $169.00. It made the noize when it was OFF! Now it doesn't come on for 5 min when you turn it up..........and i just want to add... I'M FREEZING!
From start to finish we were taken care of. Company went above and beyond to help us with new AC install. After multiple quotes and experiences, I am so glad we went with Masters!

My AC quit on me. Masters was able to get a technician out to diagnose it within 2 hours of my call. Mike was great he was up front with me about the cost and very thorough. Even though it was 8 at night when he got done looking at it he still offered to fix it before he left rather then make us wait until the next day. I asked if he could do it first thing in the morning and sure enough he was here at 8 am the next day and had my ac up and running before the heat set in for the day. Could not have asked for better.
Positive experience. Semi-annual Service call went well. Had a part that needed replacing. Serviceman Monte B. explained the workings of our unit in detail on a couple of issues we did not know how to handle. He was pleasant, professional and we were impressed with his knowledge and friendliness.

I recently moved to a home with gas forced heat and air, and the thermostat went blank. The Masters service tech quickly assessed the issue and fixed it. He also checked my filter and changed it for me. I have never had to change a filter. My last house had a boiler system.

Arin was very knowledgeable and helpful as everyone who has worked on our system has been. Unfortunately, we were sold a unit that wasn't right for our house/us. We found out that the way it was installed requires us to rearrange our house to make it work (our house is too small for this to be possible). We also found out that some periodic, messy cleaning needs to be done that we have never been told about and also isn't mentioned in the owner's manual. We had a great relationship with masters for years with our geothermal unit in Monroe, that's why we didn't hesitate to buy the mini-split (we had never heard of this until Masters' salesman suggested it) even though the quote was a couple thousand dollars higher than the other 3 we got. Other companies told us that we shouldn't go with the mini-split, but we trusted masters. I still think masters does a good job, just don't trust one salesman when everyone else is telling you something different.

We built a home with Granite Ridge builders who use Masters Heating and Cooling for the HVAC system install. We have been in the home less than a year. Once the weather turned colder we turned on the furnace and noticed that one side of the house was not as warm as the other side. I finally called Masters and explained what was happening. They were nice and scheduled a service call and were going to charge a $90 fee to come to our home, because it had been more than a year since the furnace was installed. At that point I cancelled the service called and contacted a service we have used for over 30 years. They came out today and found multiple issues with the duct work and the pvc piping. They re configured the pvc pipe into the furnace as there was water collecting in it. The owner of the company came out and checked everything out. The way the duct work is set up is causing the furnace to be over worked, we need 2 more cold air returns and some of the flexible duct replaced. The estimate to fix the heating system and duct work is between $4000 and $5000. We will be calling Masters as well as Granite Ridge to file a complaint and hopefully they will work with us to fix our heating system.

They went over and above what most companies might have done and couldn't have been nicer or more attentive to my needs.... Masters recently replaced our A/C unit in July and we found them to be very competitive in pricing, knowledgeable, and timely. They were back out to service our HVAC system and answer multiple questions this week. Once the initial service technician was finished, he called his supervisor who also came out to provide excellent service and answers. Would highly recommend.
We are on the maintenance program for our HVAC. It's a new unit, a Trane, which was installed a year ago. Therefore, both the fall & now the spring maintenance has been performed & each time we had a different technician. Both were very professional & very informative. Corey was our most recent tech who check our AC & was very thorough in cleaning out the unit free of debris & is now good to go this summer! He was a really nice guy. With his advice, we learned more about what we can do throughout the year to help protect our investment which is very important. We plan to continue the annual maintenance program. The way we see it, is it's really no different than maintaining your vehicle.

Purchased heat pump and furnace from Masters.
Great system.
Only problem we've had with unit was taken care of today with excellent service from the Technician.
Parts and labor were still under warranty.
Great service....
Matt did a fine job, on time, professional, and explained what he found.
The technician was thorough, courteous, and professional. He explained to me what was wrong, why it matters, and what I can do to address the issues. As a DIY kind of guy, I really appreciate that as I'm sure I can do it myself for less (I don't have an hourly rate to worry about).

Paul did an awesome job explaining the furnace issue. He went above and beyond in detailing the upkeep and maintenance of the equipment. I'm glad that I have Masters as my HVAC contractor.
Service tech is always courteous and puts on his shoe protectors before entering our home. All services are explained and service is completed in a timely manner. We would reccomend Masters to anyone needing HVAC services.

Our tech, Arin, was super friendly, efficient and arrived on time. We have been Master's customers for 6+ years and don't see a reason to look elsewhere.
Corey was prompt, very friendly and got right to work--he was very thorough in preparing the furnace and the care he took in cleaning the air conditioner. He was meticulous in checking everything when he was done. I felt very confident in his work, his attitude, and his friendliness. Thank you!
Bryce did his work quickly and professionally. He informed me about the condition of my furnace and the costs of any potential repairs. He didn't try to sell needless products or services - which I really enjoyed! I enjoyed working with him and hope he returns in the spring!

I want to caution everyone about this companies pricing for parts. I was charged $474.00 for a part that costs around $99.99. Taco valve 555-173RP I understand that they need to make some money and they go by the national average, and you get a 1 year warranty, blah blah blah. Call me crazy, but I feel like paying over 4 times the retail price for parts is not fair. When I called in to ask about this after the part failed, I was not treated with respect. The lady tried to spin it like the valve was free and I had paid $474.00 for labor lol.The tech was not sure of himself working on a geothermal unit and had to come back the next day to fix still leaking pipes that were not properly repaired on the first visit. Overall I am very disappointed with my experience with Masters Heating and Cooling. Thanks Don Hoekema

We heard a humming sound coming from our new HVAV system. We called Master's and talked to Donna. She contacted Dennis and he came out to respond. We also recently had our ducts cleaned and requested a new filter be installed. Dennis was great! He fixed the issue with the humming noise and replaced the filter. Now it is running quiet. Dennis is a real asset to Master's Heating & Cooling and the Company and staff are very efficient.

My HVAC blower went out and Masters got the new blower (unique variable-speed type) in one day and sent an experienced technician who now does office work out the same day to do the repair. My experience with Masters HVAC has just been fantastic. Wow!

The technician was very knowledgeable. He detected the problem and in the same day he sent the sales guy. They installed the new furnace in a couple of days. Easy, clean service and good price. I definitely would recommend to my friends.
Corey was super. At every step of the process he told me what he was working on and what he was finding and what it would cost to repair. He was very helpful and was always willing to let me ask questions. He did a great job and it is nice to have things working properly again!
They were able to squeeze me in on short notice and accurately diagnosed the issue. Our tech went above and beyond.
They responded quickly and were able to pinpoint the issue right away. The new air conditioner unit was installed very soon.
This company absolutely ripped us off.
They came to service our air conditioner for $89 when I wasn't home.
Technician told my wife we needed two new capacitors. Since she couldn't reach me on the phone she told him to go ahead and change them.
They proceeded to charge us $300 for the two capacitors that can be purchased for under $40 at any retail store. Absolute rip off.

I have used Masters Heating & Cooling for a number of years, and I've never been disappointed with their service and that continued with today. Caleb was welcoming of our (sometimes over exuberant) dogs. He did suggest a couple of part replacements to help our aging system last a little longer and run slightly more efficiently and was quick in getting those taken care of. Caleb also showed us the old parts just to confirm how bad they really were. We will continue to use Masters Heating & Cooling for our regular maintenance, and we would love for Caleb to come back out for this service.

First, I was happy to have a quick response to my issue and the technician was super friendly. Unfortunately, that was the best part of my experience. I was told by the tech I had a major issue that he could not resolve but to keep my unit running for a week it would cost $788.00 in coolant and I would then have to contact a company salesman to come out and sell me a new condensing unit. I'm glad I only paid the service call fee and sent him on his way because later that day another company came out, added the needed coolant, and charged me $90. One of 3 things is true, either the tech needs more training, he didn't do a very good job explaining my options, OR I was about to be gouged over $1,000 for something that $90 would have fixed. I hope the latter is not the truth but I don't know at this point. I definitely would be hesitant in calling this company again.

Bryce called to say he could come early and showed up when he said he would . He is very friendly and informative. He was very courteous and wore shoe covers the entire time in my home. He explained what he did and also shared a concern when he found evidenced of mice in my basement. He was very professional and did a complete job.

Paul came out and helped me. He was great. But explain to me WHY, if I have a service warranty that covers parts AND LABOR WHY I have to pay a $250 diagnostic fee? You figure out how to diagnose my ac without using labor, and I'll gladly pay. Don't sell me a parts and labor warranty, then try to charge me to figure out why a warranted unit stops working.
Be careful when choosing your contractor, after mini split was installed it does not preform as stated in proposal (heat down to -19 degrees F), not saying it does not work per manufactures specs but unit was not sized to fit application, below 20 degrees outside temperature you heated space will not go above 62 , manufacturer’s input was that the contractor must not have sized appropriately.buy be ware we have been a Masters customer for over 20 years and and spent well over 100k in all transactions, however this is the 2nd time they have said one thing and set my equipment up differently causing it not to work as promised.We will be looking into further action after speaking to Carrier
The service techs that came out worked diligently to repair the unit , but I think it’s pushing it to its limits based on being installed in a garage , I think this is a sales issue and a misrepresentation of the unit’s capabilities as the salesman said he personally had a unit in his garage and had no trouble heating in the winter
UPDATE 1 :
Masters has agreed to install a larger unit that is sized for square footage of the garage, I will further rate after the install
UPDATE 2:
Masters came in today and installed a new unit of the proper size to heat our garage , it’s only 19 degrees right now and the unit seems to be heating well , they took extra care this time to correct the install issues we had with the previous install .I can say it took several service calls to get the problem resolved, but once we were in agreement on the previous unit being sized to small they eventually stood behind their wit and corrected the problems were having , for this I think they should receive 4 stars for their efforts in correcting the problem, I did not give them 5stars due to all the hoops I had to jump through to convince them there was a problem with the unit but in the end we are happy with the outcome.

My rate and review is for Bryce who was the responder to my call and to the company as a whole. From my initial call, to the response time, to diagnosis and what to do about it, and the fix. Bryce was extremely professional and courteous from time of introducing himself to the time he collected his tools after a job well done. During the time of my call and service, I got to witness a company work as whole to figure out what my best options were. And to help guide me in a direction that was best suitable for my situation and quite honestly my pocketbook. I can't begin to thank Masters enough for the quality of service and knowledge to help me and my family when in the eve of what is being called a polar arctic freeze! Thank you beyond words!

My heat wasn't working. I called let them know what was happening the dispatch routed my call the tech Joel was there within a half hour. Polite, knowledgeable. Let me know about costs.
Did not add extras. Very reasonable for a Sunday emergency call.
I had them install a new HVAC system in a different house 2 yrs. ago very reasonable professional.

I have been working with Masters for about 2 years. They come out twice a year to do preventative maintenance and service as needed. The techs have always been quality guys and its always easy to schedule your service appointments when you call in. I would recommend them.

Cory did a great job getting our hearing system up and running. Masters is my first call for heating and cooling issues. I’ll continue to use them in the future.
Have used Masters, a few times, for furnace service work (tune-up & replace a part). Those experiences were good & fair. However recently, we attempted to contact them for our annual tune-up. For two days straight they were unreachable & could not leave a message
The last appointment we had, we consulted their technician with future furnace replacement questions. He was polite. Later, we discovered that we were given some inaccurate information, by that technician, that would have cost us about $2000 more than we needed to spend on a furnace replacement. I can't express how upset and frustrated we were researching & budgeting for more than we needed to. This was a dishonest upsale tactic. $2000 is considerably a lot money to cost someone to overspend, unnecessarily.
We will not be using Masters for any of there services. Buyer beware!

The technicians showed up promptly after being called. They were friendly and knowledgeable about the equipment. The equipment was not faulting every cycle so it took the technician a little while to figure it out but they stuck with it . In the end the problem was addressed and fixed. At least we thought it was. We got the same fault code two days later and the technicians had to come out again. This time they made sure the faulty wire connection was repaired. Once again, they were very friendly and efficient and made sure we had the weekend number to call if the unit decided to act up again.
In my book, this company is top notch. They have always taken excellent care of us from the installation five years ago to now.

Masters list several types of jobs, large & small they do. However, I've called twice in 2 years time to get a gas line put in. First time the reason was not licensed in my county, which wasn't true & this week boss didn't want to do, so couldn't give quote.
I will need a new heating & cooling system in a few years. I won't be using Masters.
Our technician, Corey, was incredibly helpful. Corey was inspecting the furnace and AC prior to us purchasing a home and did a thorough check into the functionality of the equipment. He was able to explain in lay terms what the issues were and was willing to spend the extra time to explain our various options. We will happily use this agency again!

Technician performed semi-annual check on my heat pump. He arrived on time, was very professional and friendly. He had to enter my attic to check the air handler (I have blown in insulation). House was kept clean and loose insulation from attic was cleaned up completely.
One of the best maintenance/repair men I have used. Highly recommend.

They responded immediately to my call for maintenance on our furnace and air conditioning. Caleb was very polite and answered all our questions. He really knew what he was doing and more importantly he knows how to treat customers with respect.
Quickly identified the problem and had our heat going again. Explained everything to us and answered all of my questions.
Do not know what work they can do...contacted the supervisor...let him know that I had my house inspected..sent him on email the things that needed to be fixed from the inspector...I thought that we were supposed to meet on a giving date. Evidently, he said that I didn't get back to him..he assumed I didn't need the work done any more!!!
We were fortunate enough to have Monty from Masters Heating and Cooling service our furnace today. He was pleasant, informative, explained and showed me what he was doing and left the area in which he worked immaculate. The next time I schedule an appointment I will most certainly request Monty as he did a great job!!!

The technician arrived right on schedule (he called 10 minutes out to tell me he was on his way). He explained what he was doing and did the maintenance on our furnace quickly and thoroughly. He explained the results of his inspection, and ensured I had an appointment set up for 6 months to do the air conditioner. All was good!

I went into to masters to buy a heating element. I work surgical gloves as soon as I took it out of the box to install it to make sure my fingers did it touch anything. They had to have touched it! The minute I turned my furnace on it blew out. I called them within 30 minutes of leaving their store and they told me that all sales are final. I wouldn’t buy another thing from them and I hope others do not either.

My furnace stopped working when it was 30 degrees outside. I called Masters at 8:00 am, the technician was at my house by 10:20 am. He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced my gas valve. He did a good job and also had the part needed in his truck.

The A/C quit working on day 1 of a 3 day 90 degree forecast, and on a Holiday weekend too. We left a message and a service tech returned the call within approximately 30 minutes and Service Tech Shelby arrived approximately 40 minutes later. Very efficient and friendly service - and such a relief to have the unit working again! Thanks Shelby! We appreciate the great service!!
