This company repaired and glued less than 12 of PVC for me, worked for less than 3 hours, and charged over $700. I believe they overcharge. How many years is plumber school? They're not Doctors.

Plummer was very nice.He did a quick and good job.
I had family from the mainland come in the night before and the next morning I had a mess on my hands in both bathrooms and they were completely unusable. I called EPS and James came out in an hour. He was awesome! He was on time, personable and friendly, and he was able to answer ALL of my questions with confidence and ease. He worked for HOURS on the stubborn clog in the main line, and was willing to stay longer and descale the line. He was pleasant throughout the process and professional. He had an apprentice come and bring him more equipment, and he too was very pleasant. I will definitely call them again!

we needed a plumber same day because my main cracked open during the quarantine, others said they could come next day but soon pushed even farther out. Ryan knocked it out quickly and corrected whatever the last person did, the job was done right this time. Awesome service! I would highly recommend them, this is actually the second d time they helped me in a pinch and came out same day. So Ryan thanks you were awesome

Emergency Plumbing and Solar , they had done a Plumbing job and weren't responsible to build back my kitchen floor (which a different plumber's company cut out) and pantry wall,but my landlord was dragging their feet to fix,meanwhile I was being infested with cockroaches coming through those openings..after hearing my concerns after being ignored by my landlord for 12days ,Kyle sent a team to at least seal any exposed cracks, although his company wasn't responsible his humanity and sense of urgency helped me to get a good night's sleep knowing I wasn't going to be woken by roaches crawling in my bed..MUCH MAHALO
Appreciated that EPS was able to send a tech out to my house on the day I called. They kept me informed of the status until the tech John arrived. He communicated very well at all times. He developed a progression plan on how he would work on our clogged toilet problem, with a cost estimate at each step. Fortunately, he resolved the problem in step one, expediently. EPS followed up shortly after John was done to make sure everything was good. I was a happy customer that day!
These guys are a bunch of rip offs. To change 2 shower faucet sets and put in shut off ball valve with check valve they wanted to charge $4700 that is insane!These guys are out to rip off Locals! They wanted to charge $500 to put in ball valve. Took me five minutes! If I were you find a more honest company!

We hired Emergency plumbing and Solar when we discovered a leak in our cold water pipe. We had someone come out and give a quote same day(I believe his name was Jake) he was well informed, professional and friendly. The next day we had Jimmy/James and Austin come out to fix the line.
They both did an outstanding job, they had to dig a long trench from our garage all the way to the front of our house—it was a long way, but they didn’t complain about it at all. They remained in good spirits throughout the whole process, even with the hot summer temps and having to dig so far. Once they installed the new piping they were able to cover everything up nicely, even the grass that had to be dug up was put back in a beautiful manner.
I would 100% recommend Emergency Plumbing and Solar—you get get prices, great people like Jake, Jimmy and Austin and they get the job done. What more can you ask for? Thanks so much for your help!!!!

Had an issue with my garbage disposal unit. Called and had a guy over same day within a few hours. (Could’ve been earlier but I had an appointment elsewhere) Excellent service. Highly recommend.
EPS's LYLE & LANDRY and are plumbing rock stars! They're responsive, professional, reasonably priced, and did a great job on a recent job for me in Haleiwa. It's hard to fine dependable plumbing pros who go the extra mile to help you out. Don't look any further, these guys will get the job done.

Kyle came out to do an emergency plumbing issue when our tenants pipes was clogged outside and toilet paper was coming out of the pipes flooding also the toilets.
He was there in less than 15 min from the time I called. The bill was reasonable and the emergency charge was very minimal. I will use them again for all my needs. Thank you so much!

0/0 - I asked for them to fix a leak in my kitchen. They fixed 1 out of the 2 valves that need replacing. I asked for them to come back because it continued to leak. The plumber rescheduled 3 times super last minute. Now they are asking for more money (double the price) to patch what they were supposed to fix the first time. Disappointing!

After calling and making an appointment and getting messages for time for a late night emergency service. Plumber never showed never answered phone calls repeatedly called and only got answering system. Called the next morning. They did good work. Might have caught them on a bad day.

All he did was cut a pipe and cap it. when I paid him I asked for a receipt and he said the office will send me one and they never did I even called to ask about it. Never got an answer wow ($1000.) Hope the office got the money.
The guy who came in to give us an estimate was professional but the price to change a valve was over the top expensive! The turnaround time for an estimate took long as well. Not sure if I will be using their services with that price tag!

Response to our call was within 30 minutes. So fast that my husband sent him away because I didn’t get a chance to tell him an agent was coming! The diagnosis and repair was expedient and the agent was very friendly and professional.
He is a great representative of your company, he was honest forthright and showed up early. I would definitely recommend your company to anybody I meet.

Called EPS 9 am on a saturday and was happily told we could get a new water heater installed the same day. Other companies were called and some stated we needed to wait till Monday. James and his assistant made sure we had hot water before leaving. Felt we were well cared for.
Very rude female phone operator. Choose to work elsewhere because of this.

The shower in our guest bathroom had a bad valve/diverter; water would mostly spray out of the faucet with very little from the shower head. Called EP&S on Thursday, Frank came out Friday morning and the problem was fixed! Super friendly guy, as was his assistant (I think it was Matthew, I'm bad with names). Would definitely call again!
These guys kept attempting to charge my girlfriend more and more money for repairing his own poor work. We had to hire another plumber to repair all the leaks and incorrectly done work. The plumber even harassed my girlfriend via text, that we still have if we end up taking them to court over this. The office eventually said they would stop trying to collect the bogus charges. Well two days ago my girlfriend got an almost $5000 charge attempt on her credit card from them yet again after a year. We contacted the banks fraud department and they will be pursuing an investigation into this company. We're not even going to bother trying to talk to these people again after the 25 calls from last year. Dont do business with this shady rude company. Half thier plumbers don't know what the heck they're doing. And they think they can keep changing costs whenever they feel like it. And the threats are ridiculous from these people. Bring it on. We're ready for you this time.
To replace a bathroom mixer, shower head and a small part to hook up the air gap cost us $2751.84!
2 stars for Kyle's great work and their prompt response.
Our bathroom mixer had a leaked when the faucet was turned on. This job does not require emergency service. We were told the mixer had to be replaced. Kyle made a bigger hole on the tiles so that he can get to the old mixer in the wall. He then cover the hole with a bigger plastic plate to conceal the hole. All that took him 2 hours plus another half an hour to hook up a brand new air gap on the kitchen sink.
Jack gave us the quote earlier and we were told that was a big job, it will take about a day. It was not true. I then asked Jack to give me a break down of his quote, he said he was unable to do so because it was a fixed price.
I hope this review will make you think twice before you make any decision to hire them.

Emergency Plumbing & Solar is the company to call when you have a HVAC problem. Todd fit me into his busy schedule to fix the furnace at my rental property. He did a thorough diagnosis, ordered the part, came back promptly the next day, and got the heat running. He made me aware of a dangerous exposed wire and also repaired it. I'm grateful for his expertise. Thanks Todd.

Lyle came out and saved the day! Had a backup in our main waste drain and Lyle and Landry came out and cleaned the line and showed us the inside of the pipe! It was badly built up and the flow was terrible. Afterwards he showed us how clean the pipe had come. A couple days later had another buildup and I got my personal snake stuck trying to clear the line. Lyle came in like a superhero and removed my snake and flushed the lines real good. All is good and I highly recommend Lyle, Landry, and his team.

Recently discovered a major leak from my solar water heater which cause major damages to my drywall and hazardous mold and toxins to my family. When original plumber wouldn't return my call, I contacted Emergency Plumbing and Solar, who was highly recommended in my neighborhood. Jesse Mitchell, the plumber in charge, was very professional, reliable and worked efficiently with Myron Yamashiro from HI Restoration Service to save me time, money, and reduce stress! In fact the entire team including Josh, Reuben, Cody, Keoki Jr., Jan, Kahela... were all friendly, accommodating, and provided top-notch customer service! The whole team saved me a lot of time and money, and reduced headaches during this stressful emergency. Reliable, honest, dependable, and friendly team! Highly recommended company!

Went the extra.mile; many miles, on a stubborn clogged drain pipe. Wonderful job and cleaned up after.
My experience was extremely positive. I tried three other plumbers (random) all of whom committed to be at my house at a certain window, then changed the window, then changed the day. Emergency Plumbing And Solar not only agreed and met the time they said but they did it after hours.
The people who sent explained how my solar water heater was working and what could be wrong. We discussed existing equipment, replacement parts and even a new hot water heater. In the end they made adjustments to existing equipment that worked exactly as they thought they would. I have hot water after four days of waiting for other companies.
I will use these people again and would recommend them to others.
Every experience has been great. Always call them. Highly recommend them for all your plumbing needs.

Was in need of an emergency plumbing on Christmas Eve! It was very easy to contact someone and have a licensed plumber over. James and Kaievee came over to work on the project in the morning and got done by the early afternoon. We were able to have running water before our Christmas Eve dinner.
Josiah came out on short notice to install a new garbage disposal. He was very professional and installed the new one quickly with no leaks and no mess. Would hire this company again.
Extremely over price, please everyone, get a quote before you have them work on the repair. They were gonna charge me $471 to unclogged the toilet. I was very upset that they didn't tell me before they started. Other places charge for this kind of services $270. Very unhappy about this services. I will never call this company ever again.
My HVAC stopped working recently and like anyone I made the mistake of getting somone to fix the HVAC system for cheaper. Eventually to save 300 dollars which I thought I was saving. The people who came and installed the new hvac system didnt know what the hell
they were doing and they were not able to configure and wire my system for 10 hrs. Eventually I had to let them go.
Next day I called Emergency Plumbing, great scheduling service tech was at my house within 3 hours came with proper tools, with shoe cover on saw the system and fixed and repaired the hvac within 2 hours. Clean wiring, professional system and great techs at a very reasonable price. Dont go with low ballers the way I did you will end up paying twice. Get it done right the first time with Emergency Heating and Plumbing

James responded to a call a couple days ago to fix an ongoing leaking problem we’ve had with the toilet, fixed it, however a day later I noticed that the leak had resumed again and was worse, EPS sent James back out and he quickly found the problem and got it resolved!
Great lady at dispatch, got me Robert same day, we got it fixed!!! Not his fault it’s so expensive, but I have’nt needed a plumber in quite awhile. Very understanding, communication great, even talked a few stories while he worked, Thanks again.

The service was on time but after it was complete I asked for an itemized receipt (parts versus labor) at least 3 times and no response was ever given - no returned calls and no reply to my emails. This practice allows them to overcharge as they did to me. Get commitments and pricing upfront from this business.

We were treated to a backed up septic tank Monday morning and our regular plumber wasn’t available until later in the week. I called EPS and they were able to fit us in that morning!! Jesse took the time to test various options until he narrowed the issue down to the worst case scenario, a dead pump. Even after hours Jesse helped us find someone to clean the tank out Monday evening so he and Rey could start fixing the issue first thing Tuesday morning. Professional, calm and calming (!), clean, Jesse was someone I felt I could rely upon. A really good experience for a really unhappy situation.

Called for the very first time last night (Friday at 10:30pm!) and spoke to Camille, who was very pleasant and professional. By 11pm, Todd arrived, in work gear, tools in hand, worked quickly and efficiently to diagnose our heat pump problem and had me back up and running by midnight. Wow! It was 35 outside and freezing inside. By 1am, house was back to normal. Can hardly believe the level of service given. Highly recommend! No need to call anyone else. This group is the best! Give them a try, doubt you will be disappointed.

Kyle and Chad fixed the clog in my Mom's shower and so fast and efficient. I was amazed at their cleanliness and how professional they were. Their company says emergency service. It was done within a few hours of calling them. So amazing !!!

We are truly grateful for EPS. A real human answers the phone to assist with the process of sending a technician out to assist which is what companies like us really need when we are in distress. They were able to fit us in on the same day and had updated text alerts showing who we are to expect via text with picture and name. Very efficient system and we are now on a regular maintenance schedule with their company at their recommendation to avoid large emergency call requests going forward. An experienced technician explained everything very thoroughly and gave us options before starting the flushing of our lines. They have helped us before and the tech had access to all the previous notes to understand our situation even better without us having to repeat the process. We had a clogged tub drain and Charlie Stowe arrived and did a great job in unclogging it. We asked Charlie if he would be our plumber when we call for our plumbing issues and he said yes!! Called EPS last week and I have to say this company was very responsive, professional and friendly from the person who answers the phone to the tech that came out. Competitive prices. These guys are great. Service and the cost for what they did, can't be beat. Now I have these awesome SOLID Brass faucets that have 100 year warranty, even on the finish. I think the brand is Wolverine Brass and when I picked it up, I was not expecting it to be that heavy and I almost dropped it on my foot.

Great staff, great job as for now. Work was finished on Thursday last week, (descaling, religining, coating...big project) and so far no issues. Didn't rate 5 due to some minor miscommunication that affected my schedule but overall, I recommend it. Price is ok, about same as the competitor (I guess being on a island not much choice left, all very expensive). I chose to work with Calvin because he sounded more professional than the others that we quote.

Todd arrived at the time he committed to even though I was a first time customer. He was professional and got right to work diagnosing the problem. In a short time he figured it out and fixed the problem. I believe you can feel confident to call if you have a problem with your hvac system.

These guys showed up for a backed-up drain at 8pm on a Sunday night. Turned into a nightmare project involving 3 hours and 5 days of digging and pipe replacing / lining / cleaning. Kyle and his crew were polite and cleaned up after themselves nicely, despite encountering problem after problem that kept them here till all hours and way past their original projections.

Fantastic experience! I tried fixing my toilet...diy style...big mistake. Fixed one small issue with a washer...but broke the water feeder valve and the flush mechanism inside the tank...dang! Called EPS...Britney picked up...told her about my problem...she said they're booked but can come out tomorrow. I told her we can't wait until tomorrow...we need our toilet. She said...give me a bit...let me see if I can get someone out today. In the meantime I called 3 other companies...they all flat out told me no can do today. About 10 mins later...Britney called back...said they'll have someone there between 4 and 6pm...cool. About 2pm...I get a text...Daniel is on his way...right on!!! Daniel gets here about 20 mins later...ready to work. Very personable and professional...with 30 years of experience. Gave me a quote...gotta admit was a little higher than expexted...but Britney gave me a couple of discounts which brought the cost down to a more comfortable amount. Anyway...Daniel got right to work...said would take 45 mins to an hour. Guess what...30 mins later he was done and we had our toilet back! I have to say...it seems a lot quieter now...so whatever he did...it worked wonders. Thank you Daniel and EPS!!! This is probably the 3rd or 4th job they've done for me...another excellent experience. Hire these guys...you will not regret it.

Drain was backed up. Called them and asked how much it would be to run a snake through the drain. She said that they have a $99 rate to come out to the house and charge for whatever the work that needed to be done. I said all I wanted done was to snake the drain but she insisted that she could not give me a price but that the $99 will be credited to the work done. When the plumber came to my house he said the basic snake job would be $669! He said that since it was the weekend and at night that was the price. Why wouldn't she just tell me over the phone that the basic snake job would be $669. I would have just declined and not have them come out that night and wait till the morning so that it would be at a cheaper rate. So basically threw $100 away for nothing. Thanks Emergency Plumbing & Solar for stealing my money....

They did a great job and I’m very satisfied with the outcome. They could not find the cartridge needed locally and we finally had to change the faucet it cost a little more, but I have peace of mind going forward.

As a building manager I call a lot of contractors out for various projects of all sizes. EPS is one of my trusted go to companies. Alex A is one of if not the best plumbers they have. He's prompt, hard working, thorough, and clean, the job site always looks better than when he arrived. The guy is a total rock star and will tell it to you straight. If you need an awesome plumber, ask for Alex A!

I was Extremely Happy with Emergency Plumbing and Solar .I called them this morning and they were there at my place in 30 minutes .
After I had a schedule appointment a week out with Allen’s plumbing . They called me and cancelled that morning. I was totally blindsided.
But Thanks to Emergency Plumbing and solar I was saved.

Worst plumbing I have ever received. I have asked them to fix my bathtub when my house got flooded, the plumber said I could fix it with hot water then said he would be right back to fix my toilet. 20 minutes later did I realize the plumber just up and left. If I could rate 0 star I would

I'm only giving 3 stars because we where lied to about a few things. Such as the $100 off our bill for the tech not showing up when scheduled, the tech Josiah said he would flush out water tank for all the confusion, but he never came back out and he was suppose to change the rode thing in the water heater. This was upsetting cause don't say you will do something and not do it. I'm a business owner and that wouldn't go over well with my clients. I had to call to find out when the tech was coming I was told between 12-1pm I called at 230pm. A tech did not arrive till after 5pm. I had to rework my whole schedule. The tech Cody that came out was great he got the work done quickly and was professional. This seems to be a good company but we where lied to from the start. What one tech said the other tech didn't know about. Plus I have not seen a paper bill of what I was charged for. I feel this company was a little deceptive about things.

Excellent experience! We called several companies for an emergency repair but only Emergency Plumbing could come same day. We had a large leak and Rob worked hard to fix it. He did a great job. Also, he is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Overall, I would recommend this company 100%!

We had a massive water leak from behind the wall in the bathroom all of sudden at night on SATURDAY........
Plumber, Grant, came in about an hour and a half and worked till midnight to find the weirdest leak ever....
HUGE Thanks to Grant for fixing the leak to enable us to use the kitchen water and the other bathroom while the condo is going thru the fixing. Can not imagine not being able to use WATER!!!

Highly recommend! We were in a bind and needed a plumber out to our home for an inspection as soon as possible (we were hoping for same day or next day, if possible), and they were literally able to send out James within an hour of us calling — amazing!

Came same day when my kitchen sink clogged but estimated $471 + tax to snake my drain. I had to pass and pay the dispatch fee.

Our old electric water heater needed to be replaced and EPS installed an electric tankless heater for us. They came very quickly and the work was exceptionally neat. We got the most powerful model our electrical system could serve and it is so much better than a tank.

21 yr old solar water heater finally gave out and since we already had PV panels for electricity savings, we opted to replace a more expensive solar water heater system with a conventional electric water heater since they're more efficient than 20yrs ago.
EP&S was readily available by phone with courteous staff, timely next day site evaluation by Jack and following day R&R of old unit by James.
James was courteous, knowledgeable and performed the necessary project work efficiently.
Purchased the 3yr annual maintenance plan as well since it ensured regular timely heater (and whole house) plumbing surveys to head off more expensive often neglected maintenence.
Thanks to all the office and field staff for a pleasant experience.

Got a backed up main line ? not no more , Thanks to John Henry and Emergency Plumbing and solar. Called these guys , and John was here in about 20 minutes . Great Customer service . John Henry did a very good job . He was very kind and patient, as i watched him the whole time asking random questions. I really like how clean he was when coming in and out of the house with his equipment wearing covers on his boots and covers on his wheel equipments . I’ve worked with other companies in the past and i would definitely recommend John Henry to service . Thank you for helping us on a night call on a friday of Memorial weekend . I had an urgent plumbing emergency late in the afternoon going into evening & this plumbing company came to my rescue! My kitchen sink faucet would not shut off. The shut off valves were old & worn & we could never locate the main shut off valve to the house. Ryan & John came. They even located the main shut off valve (at least 2 other companies could not locate it either)! They went to work. They communicated so well. I decided that this was the company that I want to work with to upgrade all of the plumbing in my home. A day later, Jack came to go over my plumbing needs which included replacing all of the old & worn valves in my home, relocating & upgrading the main shut off valve to my house, replacing a toilet tank assembly, replacing a corroded joint begin a wall in one of my bathrooms & fixing my outside water pipe. The plumbers, Gosh & John, were wonderful. They were efficient & VERY meticulous! They communicated completely & easily. I am completely satisfied with their level of service!

My experience with Kyle Colborn (plumber) with Emergency Plumbing & Solar was excellent. He was able to stop the leak on my solar water tank and take control of the emergency. He then was responsible with communication when the tank he recommended was not immediately available but was courteous and available at the earliest possible date (within 7 days) to replace and relocate my new solar water tank. He was able to inform me of possible complications that may come up with my existing solar panels. To be aware of in the next 1-2 years. I would recommend and use Kyle again for future plumbing issues.

They arrived within a few hours of calling for a leak on the water heater at our rental property. The dispatcher was informative and understanding that we live out of state and reassured us that they would keep us informed through the whole process. The service technician they sent was Robert G. and he was amazing at keeping me informed on what was wrong and what needed to be done to replace our water heater. To my surprise he removed and replaced the water heater that day and stayed late to make sure the job was completed 100%.

i called them 1:33pm and they came at 2pm... Very fast and very good service. will definitely use them coz they are very professional from phone to Ryan Thomas who came to the house. they will send you video and pictures on what they did with a reasonable price... WILL NOT GO BACK TO ROTO ROOTER AGAIN.
Michael came out for my service call. He is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with his recommendations. I would call EPS in the future.

After doing a great job I decided to buy their membership for plumbing services and it came in handy as my toilet was leaking and they changed out my kitchen faucet. Frank did an expection which is covered my the membership and found that our water pressure was too high and could have done a lot of damage to our pipes and would have cost me more to fix the damages. I'm so happy with Calvin and his amazing company from the office staff Jan and Austin to Frank, their service is amazing. Thank you and I would recommend anyone to get their membership it's reasonable and I feel like I have a personal plumber when I need them. Mahalo again and God bless.

The second time I have called Emergency Plumbing & Solar was not disappointed with the service. Alex Mina and Glenn, his assistant were the best. The job was done professionally and efficiently. They made sure that everything was clean and tidy before leaving. I'm so glad Alex told me about the membership program and it is definitely a program the customers can save money on. Absolute rip off. Wanted 500 dollars to unclog a toilet. Keep in mind they refused to give me a quote over the phone, insisting the person had to be onsite to provide a quote, thenn they wanted to charge me a 100 dollar dispatch fee for their trouble. If you like getting ripped off this is the company for you.
Contacted EPS due to problems with our Tankless Water Heater.
Technician Charlie S. was very knowledgeable and explained the situation. We look forward to having the unit replaced as soon as EPS is able to get it for us within a couple of days.
Will plan to create a 'follow-up' review once the work is completed.

So, here's my follow up review:
There honestly was a bit of disappointment due to the cancellation of the scheduled appointment(s) throughout the expected day as the 'time frames' continually got pushed back. *Cause reported as unexpected emergencies elsewhere.
Relieved that Charlie Stowe was able to come the following evening to complete the installation. He was thorough in making sure that we were satisfied with the performance of the new heater. Very satisfied!

Not sure if $700 is a reasonble price to unclog 2 showers and put a toilet seat together. The job was done but now I feel broke.

Called for a tub obstruction. They had Kyle out within 2 hours of the call. Had an estimate and job done within 1/2 hour! If you need great service that comes with a plumbing service, make the call to EPS!

This company refused to repair a water heater that was still under warranty and wanted to charge us $2,500 more to fix it. I am reporting them to the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, the contractor’s Licensing Board and the Better Business Bureau.
