Tom it's the best ,job excellent and good prices he was on time i recommend.
Made an appointment for 9am Friday, finally showed up at 9:15 Saturday...no apology.
Was quoted a price of $600 to install new faucet and garbage disposal. Tom was very belligerent.
He complained that he had to go to the Home Depot to get parts. (You would think he would have them on his truck) After 2 hours of work he demanded $800 for the job which we paid to get him out of our house.
Later on we discovered that our pipes where leaking. He claims to be a Master Plumber
Lost without Tom! My wife recently lost her engagement ring down the toilet. We live in a townhouse community so odds were pretty good that the ring was gone. We called Tom, midway through a Saturday, and he was there, with a camera, in less than an hour. When he realized what had happened he told me he'd stay until it was recovered. 7 hours later the ring was back on her finger (washed of course). Without Tom's compassion and service we'd be out a very special ring.

James came out to our home to fix an issue with our dishwasher drainage. He was able to resolve it and fix a few other issues he found. Our home is old so I don't expect this will be the last issue we will have with our plumbing. I will reach out to his business again and I would recommend you do too.
I called to make an appointment, it was set for a few days later. The date arrives and its no show/no show. I called back to make another appointment, and it was another no call/no show. I called again and James the plumber then calls me back. He apologized and said he was sorry and would be there the next day. The next day was another no call/no show. I called a third time and gave my info again, no call back. I called a fourth time, and was told I would get yet another call back. I then called a different plumber.

Kept us waiting for an hour without any heads up. Total attitude the whole time then walked out saying I ain't doing this and left.
I had a very unprofessional interaction with a The Dunwoody Plumber employee, or I guess could have been the owner as he looked similar to the guy on the truck.
Stopped at Jersey Mike’s to get lunch and saw a sign in the door stating masks were required. This guy has one in initially but the takes it off to make a phone call and then doesn’t put it back on. When I said to him that I would appreciate it if he would put his mask back on as it was required, his response to me was ANYTHING but professional! Then he only put it on covering his mouth and not his nose. I again asked him to put it on correctly so that it was covering his nose, I was again met with his rude and unprofessional manner. As I was leaving, I saw this same ‘gentleman’ get into a van emblazoned with ‘The Dunwoody Plumber’.
Not the best representation in my opinion and you can bet should I need a plumber in future it won’t be The Dunwoody Plumber! If you can’t be respectful to others I certainly don’t want to support your business.
How smart of you to drive the company car, recklessly. Enjoy your day 🙂
Our Rheems water heater stopped working. The water heater was still under warranty so we called Rheems and they diagnosed the the problem over the phone and sent us a replacement pilot light assembly. We called Dunwoody Plumber and talked to Mary. She said it would be $150 to come out and replace the part. We agreed and Tom the owner came out the next day and installed the new part. The water heater still didn't work. He then installed some other parts from his truck, a generic gas control thermostat and a generic burner assembly. The water heater worked now. He said the total charge was $650 for his time and the new parts. He asked that we pay him, Tom Connolly directly the $650 instead of the company. We paid him the $650. He said he would reimburse us for the parts $240 if we were to get them from Rheems. We have now received the the gas control thermostat from Rheems. I have called the Dunwoody Plumber 4 times now to get reimbursed and Mary says Tom is too busy to call me back. On top of that it looks like the Dunwoody Plumber repair job is not up to code with an exposed electrical wire outside the water heater.

We had a leak in our master bath shower. Tom's team came out and broke the shower wall handle...then left without fixing the leak. Now we can't use the shower at all.
We've called and left multiple messages but they won't return our calls at all.
Wish I could give zero stars.
I've had good experiences and bad experiences with this plumber. In the previous years, if I called I was able to get plumbing repair work done and had no issues. However this week I needed repair work done at a new address, called at 9 a.m and was provided a time window. It was only when I called back (at the appointment time window 6 hours later) that I was told Oh, I plugged your address into my GPS and I'm not coming, you're too far. Find another plumber. Well......it would have been nice to have been told that 6 hours earlier when I could arranged for another plumber to come out and not wasted another day waiting off of work for a plumber who knew he was not going to come.

Called them with an emergency and she was abrupt and rude. Never again!
Absolutely a pro. Always there when we need him.
I have nothing but great things to say about Tom and the entire team!! I discovered water spouting from my front lawn and initially thought it was an irrigation leak. The irrigation company came out quickly and determined that my water line from the meter to the house was the culprit, so I immediately did a Google search and called The Dunwoody Plumber. Tom arrived at my home within 2 hours and started his diagnosis. He walked me through the proposed solution and then instructed me on the call I needed to make for emergency utility location services, so that they could safely dig the new trench for the new water line. While we did go through 1 night without water, Tom and his team arrived as planned the next morning and completed the required work as quickly as possible with a warranty on both parts and labor. They did a great job, left my property in great shape, and were very personable and professional. I will definitely call Tom in the future!
Tom has been fantastic to work with, he showed up on time, replaced our water heater was pleasure to deal with. We couldn't be happier!

We had a problem with our basement bathroom a month and a half ago. Mr Connolly came and several hours and $500 later supposedly he had fixed the pump. This pump is located in a storage closet and when we came in to get something from there the stench was terrible. We had to take everything out. I have been calling Mr. Connolly for 3 weeks and the lady who answers says he's extremely busy and will call me back as soon as he can. I don't think it's fair to have to pay someone else to fix whatever he did wrong but apparently he doesn't stand by his work

Awesome service and value. Showed up with two hours of our call to assess the work. Back on time the next morning and completed exactly what was needed. Very reasonable for six hours of work.

Tom is the worst! I called him on Tuesday, Tom said he would get to my location by Thursday and said just send him a text with the information, I did. Thursday morning I texted him to get a scheduled time, no response. Called him Thursday afternoon, he said he could not make it and was not sure who I was but he could make it at 12:00pm on Friday. By 12:45 on Friday he was a no show, so a called him again. Did not know who I was again and said to remind him again of what I needed. Said he could not make it for a few hours, needless to say I cancelled. What a joke.
I called Dunwoody Plumber and James came out to my house within two hours and had the problem diagnosed and fixed within another two hours. He even checked a few other areas of concern and educated me on the life of my pipes given the age of my home the work that had and hadn’t been done to the home. He provided reasonable quotes for preventative repairs and was very nice. I will definitely be a returning customer!!
Tom was hired to install a gas line to my outdoor grill that was already assembled. He could not get the grill to work and blamed it on missing parts from the factory although I showed him in the user manual that all QTYs were there. He still insisted the factory did not include everything. So I had him install 2 sink fixtures. $800 for his time to install 2 sink fixtures and I will have to call and pay someone else who knows how to install a gas line to a grill. Preposterous amount of money for this job which was left incomplete.
Did great work. Came out on a holiday and didn't charge me extra. Recommended.
We have used Dunwoody Plumber several times now, mostly for 'emergencies'. Fast response and they don't overcharge for coming out on short notice. Highly recommend to everyone.

Thank you Bobby! I called Zoom Plumbing at 6:00am when I was getting ready for work I found I had no hot water. Not what you want to wake up to on a Monday morning. I went to my basement to look at my water heater only to find the room it was in covered in a huge puddle of water. I called Zoom Plumbing and Bobby the plumber who took my call was at my house before 8:00am that morning. He found out that the 15+ year old water heater died (but he used much more plumbingly words) and the tank leaked all over my floor. He gave me an estimate and by 1pm that day I he had switched out my older water heater. What sold me was that as Bobby was writing up the estimate he noticed I had a very old dressing table given to me by my great-grandmother that I had completely that was submerged in at least an inch of water. He didn't mention that he took the time to lift it up and put it on some blocks to keep to keep it from being damaged further by the water before I had agreed to have Zoom Plumbing do the work! Thank you for the extra care and concern, reasonable prices and great service, I highly recommend!
Called to get an appointment, they told me to text them my address and email and then hung up stating they had another caller. I called back two days later after text sent with no reply. Finally got an appointment setup and they were a no show. A lot of wasted time on my end.

I called when the water line to the refrigerator broke during a DIY project. Tom came timely and went the extra mile to help fix the pipe and extended the line so that would never happen again. Also, he was very patient with our dogs barking at him for 2 hours. Would recommend to all Dunwoody residents.
Tom did an exceptional job. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
