James was timely, polite and efficient. He reviewed his work with us at every stage of his diagnosis, repair and post work cleanup. It wasn't cheap, but good work is worth twice it's weight in gold. Thanks again, James!

They charged me $355 to unscrew the old pipe vent and screw a new one in.. The part is like $30. So they basically charged me $320 for walking into my house. I wouldn't recommend them.

I live in a condo that still has a lot of the original fixture from 1968 or fixtures that were not installed well. I am disabled so I have specific requirements. When I described what I wanted, i was given reassurances that the new toilet would be appropriate and I was given a price. The plumber arrived on time, did the work well and cleaned up afterwards. I now have a toilet with the correct height, low flow and the right color to match the tub and sink. It was more expensive than other plumbers, but I have no worries that everything was done correctly. I have more work to be done and I will not hesitate to call them.

M Cary sent Ian Carby out to do an estimate on work in my kitchen and bathroom. The main work required them to turn off the full water in my condo building which is 100 years old (gently). They had to install turn off valves (5), install a new toilet and flange, new sink, new faucet, remove garbage disposal and put in new supply lines, etc. This was a 3 visit process due to tile repairs, etc. They were on time and did this on budget. Ian is the plumber, nice guy, respectful, flexible and good at communications. Michele one of the owners is great too in helping me with scheduling and getting insurance docs, etc. Lastly, there was a need to make an adjust to the water temperature - no problem Ian came right back out and handled it quickly. They are not the least expensive but they stand behind their work and I appreciate the ability to do business with a local business. Try them and make sure you ask for Ian Carby - he's the best!

First call out for hose spigot, man was very friendly and knowledgeable and gave us a fair price. Second time was for install of garbage disposal which we provided and was $355 on top of the disposal. They said this is their standard cost, which is more than our dishwasher purchase and install. Next time I will be calling around for quotes.

I called M. Cary & Daughters to see if they could fix a kitchen disposal problem day-of. The friendly lady on the phone initially said they were booked solid and wouldn't be able to come out, but she didn't stop there. She asked me to describe my problem in full, and walked me through how to fix it myself over the phone. I was FLOORED! Rather than pay a fee for someone to come out to my house to simply press a button, this company helped me do it myself, free of charge. I'll definitely be calling M. Cary & Daughters the next time I have a plumbing issue.

A part was ordered by M. Cary for a broken faucet. I had to follow up with them 3 times to find out if the part was received and when it could be installed. On top of that, M. Cary could not give me a window of time they could do the work. They said they would call in the afternoon 30 minutes before they arrived. Who can work/plan a day with no idea when a plumber will show up?

I had some sediment water coming out of my hot water heater, the plumber arrived, took one look at it and said it needed replacing. Which took all of 2 minutes. They charged me 60$ for that. Didn’t offer any advice on how to fix it or trial and error with sediment.
In addition, they quoted me 850$ to put in a water filter under the sink which is beyond ridiculous.
This company is unreasonable and greedy.

These are the nicest professionals ever! Seems like everyone in Decatur knows about M. Cary & Daughters. They did a great job installing a new toilet - even sent me a handwritten thank you card! Who does THAT anymore! I'd like to refer them but every time I mention M. Cary to my Decatur friends they already know about them!

I called M. Cary to get some information about my misbehaving water heater and they were so helpful in getting me the information I needed about my warranty. They were honest, helpful and friendly. I will definitely call them for my future needs. Thank you!!

Seem friendly on the phone. But you can't just book a service (ie: replace washer line, run a pressure test). You have to pay 60.00 dispatch fee if you want them to show up, on top of whatever you need done. It's not refundable and it doesn't go toward the repair cost...it's just a fee on top of your repair bill.

Good service

Even when all the pipes around Atlanta were busted because of the Christmas deep freeze they were quick and thorough and got the pipe fixed with minimal intrusion and prompt service. Very highly recommend!

Made my plumbing problems worse!

Maybe we had unrealistic expectations. We paid $60 to get a quote which took 8 days to receive. The bid came in 3x higher than any other bid we received from other highly rated plumbers in the area. We will be using a different company.

This is a great local Atlanta intown team, they have come out to my house twice one for an install, and then when we sold our home replaced ductwork from our hotwater heater. Their prices are competitive, their techs have been with the company 13+ years. Great people.

Excellent service from the time the service call was made until the job was finished! David and Charles came to my resident to check my water heater.They quickly diagnosed the problem. I expected to have to replace the water heater, but David discovered that the gas had been turned off during a furnace repair and the pilot was not relit.He discovered that the leak was not coming from the heater, but from a line that needed to be tighten.I asked them to check a toilet for a possible leak. David checked for the leak and stabilized the toilet. Both men were professional and worked together to get the job done, and not costing us an arm and a leg for service. I'm making this company my plumbing choice.

These guys are awesome! They will break everything down for you so you understand the situation and are honest. Watching their videos on Facebook makes me laugh. You can see they have personality and know how to have a great time. You need a twisted sense of humor to work in this profession. Will highly recommend!

We've used this company three times now for both plumbing and gas work and they are always prompt friendly and professional. They're great!

Needed an emergency plumber and they were not only quick to answer the call but in a comprehensive cost overlook and repair.

David was on time, friendly, and did a great job! I needed a gas stub put in a new/old home I purchased for my oven, and he was very helpful. I felt completely comfortable having him in my home. They are my go-to plumber now, and I will request David every single time.

They responded promptly and quickly identified and repaired the problem. We have used them for years. We have been very satisfied.

Give these folks a call if you'd like them to waste your time and take your money. Their pricing is outrageous at best. They came by to quote some pretty basic work and once they started talking numbers I couldn't get rid of them out fast enough. I followed up with an administrative request for a signature on the DeKalb Certificate of Compliance - trying to get literally anything for the $40 they charged us - and they instead offered to take more of our money and waste more of our time.

I had a plumbing crisis today - a shower that wouldn't turn off. I spoke with Michelle and even though they had no one immediately available, she took time out and accurately identified the part I needed to replace and provided a website for the part which I then replaced myself. This shows real integrity and care for customers. After this experience, they will be my first choice for any plumbing needs.

We've used M. Cary & Daughters for the last 20 years. They bent over backwards to help us the same day we called with the issue. Kudos to M. Cary & Daughters Plumbing!!!

James is super smart, quick, and professional. Diagnosed and repaired the first sink, and then addressed another issue and installed broken stoppers in our sink (when every other company I've called has said we could find them ourselves and refused to help), and even took a quick look at our hot water heater to let us know what model it was. I love that they wore masks and booties unprompted. Also dispatchers are super pleasant and efficient. Best service in Atlanta.
