Jeff Johnson from Soderlin installed AC in my 1920-built house and also put me in touch with an electrician Soderlin often works with to upgrade my electrical panel and fix some illegal wiring first (I had asked for this service; it wasn't a surprise add-on). Install was faster than expected and Jeff was very friendly and professional. I appreciated that Jeff gave me realistic expectations of cooling on the second vs. first floor of my house given the old vents. He was right that there's far less airflow to the second floor but still definitely worth it and I appreciated the warning during the initial estimate. I've already recommended them to my neighbor.

I want say to upfront that a) the technician was friendly and b) the costs were given to me ahead of time. I was quoted $879 to get my boiler cleaned. Good news is there is no service fee for this call to get it looked at. I could say that hearing you can't legally run your boiler until it is cleaned was part of the reason I immediately agreed to it but that is splitting hairs. The cost, and saying they'd have to come back to do the work, made me think it was going to be a big job. I never had this done before given this is the first house I owned. The next week they came back and were here less than an hour and a half. Something doesn't add up here. I called their office and spoke with Jason, and asked to give me an explanation and his explanation was simply that's what it costs. I said, that works out to be over $500 an hour, then he says it includes the original service call, but I have paper work that says it was zero. I would suggest calling around to get some more estimates before going with these folks. I wanted to support a business that is in my same neighbor hood instead of one of the bigger outfits in the cities and I have to say I am just disappointed that I won't be calling them for future work.

My main water was off for several days in my attempts to remove 2 corroded valve stems for the hot & cold tub handles that were the cause of water dripping. After checking out endless plumbers with ridiculous fees and labor charges I accidently came across Soderlin. I'll admit I was hesitant to make an appt to remove the 2 valve stems because if their reasonable service and base charges but I did. I was then told they're booked for the day (Friday of course lol) and may not be able to come until Monday but several hours later I received a call saying Jason was on his way!! Jason was so courteous, respectful, professional and very determined to get the job done and with great effort he did!!
Thank you Jason and Soderlin it means a lot to know there are still trustworthy people around. Job completed! No price gouging and no leaks!!

The folks are Soderlin are amazing. Joel came out to check out a leak and some water pressure issues that we were having. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, laid out several options for fixes (long term vs. short term, variety of price ranges). We chose our fix and got on the schedule quickly. Joel came back and got the job done quickly and neatly. He walked us through all of the fixes and made sure everything was functioning before he left. Highly recommend this company and will be using again!

He installed a new garbage disposal, repaired a gas leak and installed our new electric dryer--including capping off the gas line from the old dryer, bringing the new dryer up from the garage, bringing the old one down to the garage, installing the water line for the dryer's steam feature, and putting in a new dryer vent. The crabby woman that answered the phone the multiple times I called, should've been the first red flag. We needed a radiator moved to have a sump pump system installed in a small condominium building. I was told that the entire boiler would need to be drained and the radiator cut and moved. We drained the boiler and radiators ourselves with a couple short phone calls to ask a quick question. The next day, Chad was here for 10 minutes to make two cuts with skill saw - and had a moving company come for 10 minutes to move the radiator. We were charged $700 for 20 minutes and no materials. Then we were quoted $2200 to move the radiator back and refill the boiler system - and told this would be a complicated and very time consuming project. We hired a different company that was half the price and said this was very routine and only took a couple hours with no issues. They also said that the system didn't need to be drained in the first place. I want to support local businesses but this experience was classic price gauging.

EXTREMELY POOR. Nothing fair about them. Called them and set up a time during the day to avoid the emergency service fee but was never told there was a regular service fee. The guy shows up, I show him what's wrong and what I wanted, he quoted me $600 for a minor project that I figured would be $200-300 since I could do it in a few hours myself for $80 in materials. I of course declined but was charged $59.95 for him to show up at my house, 8 blocks from them, for 15 minutes and tell me nothing. I asked him what service he provided and had no response but to tell me they charge it to cover gas. Very poor way to conduct business.

I have used Soderlin over the 20 years I have lived in my old house. They have come when I needed them and even in the middle of the night.
Jeff recently came to repair toilet tank inner workings. He also replaced a leaky faucet. He was early, worked efficiently, cleaned up after, and he was pleasant, as they always are. I am moving so I will not have them service me anymore. I will miss the great service and work that Soderlin Plumbing have provided. I'm a first time homebuyer and my water heater broke in my first month in the house. I worked with Chad and he made a bummer situation feel so much better! Chad was so kind, attentive, and communicative by giving me a walkthrough of things I needed to know in the house. He did the impromptu water heater change quickly and in the install looks great. I called up Soderlin because of the great reviews they had on Google and I was not disappointed. Jeff showed up in a snow storm and quickly diagnosed my issues and resolved them efficiently. He delivered excellent customer service and I will not hesitate to call Soderlin up in the future!

I called up Soderlin again for a look at the gas line to my dryer. Justin came by and was super helpful. He got my issue fixed and even gave me great suggestions and thoughts for future work that might need to be done. I will continue reaching out to them for service!

Jason from Soderlin Plumbing was here this morning and fixed a low water pressure issue in the hot water of our bathroom sink. His knowledge and expertise made this job easy for him, we now have plenty of hot water coming out of the tap.

While here Jason also cleared the back-up sludge in the kitchen drain. It took awhile because this buildup was over many years, but Jason cleared it so it drains just like it supposed to. If I need more plumbing work I want Jason from Soderlin Plumbing to be the plumber to do the work, he is a professional and very personable.

They installed a new water heater for me and initially it worked very well. After a few months it started getting flaky -- it warmed the water inconsistently, sometimes hot, sometimes cold, but usually lukewarm. I called and they sent someone out who admitted he didn't know anything about tankless water heaters and said that the problem was that all my showers and sinks had developed flow issues such that they didn't draw enough water to fully engage the heater. I've measured the flow and the sinks, at least, draw sufficient water that the heater should provide hot water.

We have been in our home for 25 years and have always looked to Soderlin for maintenance and repair of our gas hot water and forced air heating system. Called Soderlin about a possible leaking basement bathroom sink at 8am and Jason was walking through the door at 9:05am! He checked the sink, pipes, walls, etc. and found that the leak was probably from the snow melt finding its way to our basement. Helped us problem solve a few potential issues with the sink too. Our heating system went on the fritz yesterday, and Soderlin sent Jeff Johnson out today (Christmas Eve). Jeff did a masterful job trouble shooting, and determined that there was a short in a wire that would be very difficult to replace, buried in a wall and under a floor. We went with the wireless thermostat, which he was able to obtain the same day. Jeff was professional, very easy to work with, and did a superb job. Given the issues, the holiday, etc., we couldn't be more pleased and grateful for Soderlin and Jeff's excellent service.

My wife set-up an appointment to have an undermount bathroom sink bowl installed, to replace a sink bowl that had cracked. Joel arrived within the service window. It was immediately apparent that it was not work he wanted to do, for whatever reason. He informed me that it's a 'very rare' job...which is hard to believe as these are quite common. I had a replacement sink bowl purchased and ready to go. After pondering it a bit, he came back with a quote of $752. According to several contractor friends I'd spoken with, this is DOUBLE what the high-end cost for this job should've been. Joel noted that the job would take about 2 hours; it's was only sealing the sink to the marble and the reconnecting the pipes. So almost $400/hr for his time? I feel it was a straight-up swindle and he just inflated the cost so he'd walk out without any work and the $69 visit fee. I'm assuming this is a common practice with Soderlin, to inflate prices and then laugh all the way to the bank when they've conned the customer or walk away with $69 for 10 mins of poking around. We were scammed. I would caution working with this outfit, especially without any price range estimate before the service visit (which Joel said they don't do). Wait time was about three business days plus a weekend. Jeff was prompt, courteous, and thorough. Located and fixed a toilet leak and installed a shower drain and made sure everything was working properly in about 2.5 hours. I wouldn’t say they are “cheap”, those 2.5 hours came to about $1100 but I believe the job was done right and I won’t have any problems with the work in the future. Will definitely consider them for future projects!

Soderlin was easy to schedule with and got the job done quickly and right. However, during the initial service call, I felt a bit pressured by the fast talking. Perhaps it’s true that more needed to be done than we had suspected, but the initial job quote seemed outlandish. After a few more prodding questions, I realized I didn’t have to go the route that was originally explained to me, and so we knocked off a few hundred dollars. Although the final quote still seemed steep for what needed to be done, especially for something that ended up only taking an hour, we went with Soderlin because we were in a time crunch. The final product does look amazing and is much more functional than our original setup. All in all, Soderlin does great work, but I’m not convinced all the work prescribed is necessary.

October 1, 2020. Just had Jeff Johnson from Soderlin do an inspection and safety check of my older gravity boiler furnace for the upcoming winter. He arrived with a mask and was very careful to keep it on while in my home.
He was friendly and professional and worked efficiently. When I asked if it was possible to check the function of the boiler expansion tank and drain it if needed, he cheerfully agreed to let me know what the extra cost would be and take care of it while he was there.

He then proceeded with draining the tank and the entire radiator system. He recommended installing a new valve on the tank and temperature/water pressure gauge on the furnace. I can see why people still like dealing with smaller and experienced companies like Soderlin, that have people like Jeff, who take pride in their work. Mark S., Minneapolis

Soderlin charges $59 just to come look at the job. Yes, it is refunded if you pick them but it costs you to find out an estimate. Not worth it!
While I appreciate that they are spending time and money to come look at the job, that is an expense incurred in doing business. If a store on the corner charged people to come in and look at what they had to sell and what items cost, without knowing if the store would even have what someone wanted, they would not be in business long. They have the expense of keeping the store open and stocking the shelves - a part of doing business. Think of it as a homeowner: I get 3 quotes for $240 dollars to find out what it costs and who can do a particular job. Either way, I am out $160. Perhaps a more thorough phone triage would help. A discussion of the job for 5 minutes on the phone to find out if it is possible and a ballpark estimate - then a follow-up thorough estimate for a fee? It isn't a service charge as they called it, if they are just coming out to look.

I have a very complicated hybrid system that has scared many a plumber away. It includes a boiler, holding tank, and air blower, and six zone regulators, but the component that wasn't working was a single floor board hot water radiator. It just stopped out of the blue, even while the rest of the system continued to work properly. I contacted Soderlin after they closed on a Thursday evening, leaving a message and their technician Chad came out on Friday morning. Chad took about 20 minutes to diagnose the problem, what it would cost, and how long it would take to repair it. Within an hour and a half the problem was resolved. It was air in the pipes. Chad gave me confidence that should anything happen, they would return to fix any issue, which was very reassuring because of the complexity and age of the system. I cannot thank Soderlin and Chad enough and they will always be my go-to plumbers in the future.

Just bought this house, and the old owners of 20+ years definitely had some DIY goofiness going on with the boiler. Long story short, needed a new back-flow preventer installed, along with an extra valve on that pipe to put it up to code. Jeff Johnson came out and did the job at 7:30am sharp on a Monday. Got it done in less than an hour, and gave me some pointers on bleeding and filling the boiler as well. These guys are definitely not cheap, however the job was done right, and he made me aware of my costs up front before starting.

The plumber who stopped was personable and professional and I have no issues with him. My issue is that Soderlin agreed to do a job (clearing a clogged drain) that they were not equipped to do. After telling me their tools were not sufficient to clean the drain, I was given numbers of who to call and charged $69 for the service call. I made it clear what my issue was when I scheduled the appointment and they accepted the job. If they were not equipped to handle the job, why did they accept it and charge me to be in the same predicament I was in before they arrived?

Soderlin Plumbing has become my go to plumber for all my jobs. It started with fixing a hot water heater which instead of trying to sell me a new water heater, Soderlin's tech actually diagnosed the problem and fixed it for under $100. From that point on, I call them for everything. They recently installed my new furnace and I could on and on about how great that is. The staff is friendly, professional, and does fantastic work, but most importantly, you don't feel like they are trying to get as much money out of you as possible.

I had a issue with a slight gas leak over the weekend on one of my rental properties. Called these guys to come fix it. They charged me almost $250 for a trip charge which i was ok with since it was a weekend but was shocked to find out that it was just for them to stop over at the place and not to do anything. They bid the job 3 times more than what it would have costed. When asked why........all the guy had to say was Its the Weekend. Wish they would told me from the beginning that the$250 was for nothing but to show up to the house. The guy was extremely rude and unprofessional. Felt robbed by these guys in the middle of the day. Would never recommend or work with these guys. Paid almost $1,300 for something that would have costed 1/3 and got shitty service and attitude in return.

Save your time and money..........................these guys are not worth it.

Jeff Johnson did a real nice job for us. We moved into our new home in November, called Soderlin for a boiler inspection. The boiler was not burning right. Jeff got it running OK, then came back a few days later to tear it down and fix it (quoted $879). When he opened it, he found some debris clogging the burners, removed it, reassembled, tested, and went on his way. Cost us $225. I felt that I got a square deal, from an honest contractor.

Avoid this company at all costs. We bought a new air conditioner from Soderlin 3 years ago. Rather than installing it, Soderlin contracted with another company to do the work. We never saw or heard from Soderlin again. It was a bait-and-switch. The air conditioner broke last summer, and Soderlin would not even come out and fix it. Other companies said they would have stood behind their work; Soderlin would not (even though it did not do the work in the first place). Soderlin previously broke two toilets in our home. I recommend Residential Heat and Air. We have had great success with that company.

Well THAT couldn't have been better. Our central air conditioner was making noises and the fan wasn't spinning, so I called Soderlin. They had a tech here withing FIFTEEN minutes! Jeff solved the problem, took care of some neglected clean up of up of the equipment, gave us some good advice about maintenance, petted our little dog (who uncharacteristically loved him at first sight) and drove off in his truck. I imagine part of the timing was good luck, but I am now SOLD on Soderlin. What a swell experience that was!

We've used Soderlin's services for probably 17 years now and happy to call them our go-to plumbers. We can always get one of their people out when we need them, they show up when they say they will, and they have always been very competent and professional. The service we had from Jason yesterday is a prime example. We needed a leaky kitchen sink U-bend and 3 slow bathroom drains fixed, and he took care of all the problems very efficiently and very well! And it barely took him over an hour. No, it wasn't cheap because we needed one section of pipe replaced and another removed -- but (a) you get what you pay for, and (b) because the slow drains were very uncomplicated he charged us a fraction of what snaking them out would usually cost. Plus Jason was very personable and professional. HIRE THESE GUYS.

Terrible...clowns...
The tech quoted me $600 to investigate my residential boiler (installed new by Soderlin) problem and admitted the repair could take as little at 30 minutes. I would still be liable for any labor and/or material in excess of $600. He tried to convince me this is normal procedure.
After a short inspection of the the clown told me I need the entire boiler replaced. Cost=$10,000
The following day I have a different plumbing company on site. Within 1 hour they replaced a simple fan motor for a total cost of $240 labor and material.

Soderlin=clown show. I don't know if the Soderlin guys are more dumb or dishonest.

We had a leak in a tub faucet whose intermittence masked a more complex problem. This, obviously, was not Soderlin's fault, and yet despite the need for two follow up visits they stuck to their original bid for fixing the faucet. Sadly such integrity is the exception these days, but undoubtedly it's a key reason they've been around for 100 years.

We had Roto Rooter come in for a clogged basement drain and after $300 we went from a stopped drain to a slow moving drain. One month later the drain completely clogged up again so we called Soderlin. They came the next day and for a smaller charge, actually fixed the clog. They are local and familiar with local problems (like tree roots in 100-year old pipes) that require special tools.

I had a burst water pipe and needed a plumber quickly on a Saturday. Soderlin Plumbing had high reviews online and were courteous and helpful. Jason came quickly and found a hidden shut off valve, allowing the main water valve to be opened again. Are you looking for a plumbing company, with rock solid techs? What about a plumbing company with techs who have soft skills, and don’t grunt as form of communication when you speak to them? Perhaps you’re looking for a company that does more than unclog messy unmentionables from a toilet? Or maybe even a plumbing company that employs experienced techs that are going to show you what the problem is, and offer to repair it?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then look no further. Soderlin has all this. They’re techs are fantastic. Best I’ve ever encountered. Dave J came out to look at my radiant heat system, and not only pointed out how to operate it, but explained the basic fundamentals on how the system works. The old saying, “it’s normal price to watch, but double if I need to explain it.” does not apply here. Dave explained and answered my questions with a great deal of accuracy. He was on-time and professional. If I was Dave’s boss, I’d probably have to consider giving him a raise for being such a valuable asset to the company, and for being awesome.

The negative reviews here are old, and have no weight in the present. My experience with Soderlin was 5 stars from beginning to end. I reached out via their contact form online, and had a follow up phone call to schedule service within hours. The person on the phone was pleasant and articulate. No problems with customer service there.

The team at Soderlin is solid as a rock, and not messing around with their customer’s time. I would recommend Solderlin to anyone in the Twin Cities area to turn a plumbing nightmare into a plumbing success! 5 stars, men! Keep up the good work!!!

Every one of my interactions with Soderlin has reflected their expertise, professionalism, promptness, and courtesy. I'm late in writing a review so I hope I've not messed up names from history: Mary is very kind as the voice of the office. Jeff and John have been very helpful with furnace issues - John giving some very good advice I should have taken at the first opportunity rather than the second. Jason recently cleared a good ol' fashioned let's join these pipes with molten lead clog, also offering some preventative and maintenance advice - which I plan on heeding. (See lessons learned John's advice, above.)

Each time they visit things are not only better than they were before in terms of working state, but I know more as well. All are very willing to share their knowledge, which makes me a tiny bit wiser for those future home projects.

I also know who to call when I'm on the verge of making the next home project worse than it was when I started fixing it: Soderlin.

I called during a very cold spell because my furnace wasn't running. The people on the phone were very helpful and polite. She told me they had a waiting list and would get to us as soon as possible. Within 2 hrs they called back and said they had a technician available.Chad showed up and within minutes diagnosed the problem and had it fixed 10 mins later. I want to write two reviews so I can give Soderlin 10 stars. I called late in the afternoon about my water heater leaking, and originally we scheduled someone to come out first thing the next morning. I got a call back less than 10 minutes later, someone agreed to take an extra job for the day to come check out my problem and help us out. Jeff Johnson was absolutely fantastic!! He helped explain everything to me in a way I could understand, was polite, professional, kind and quick! I couldn't think of a single thing that could've made my experience with Soderlin any better. We hired Soderlin Plumbing for our upstairs bathroom leak and repair. Our experience consisted of incompetent work, leaks, and attempting to bill us (twice) for work that was part of the original contract

• Our new tub wasn’t properly vented upon installation.

• Upon removal of the old vanity the sink drain needed to be relocated. We had plumber Ken return to do. We created an access through the main floor living room ceiling to re-route the drain and join it up with another upstairs bathroom drainpipe. (Since this wasn’t included in the original bid, we paid extra for this work.)

• When scheduling the inspector, Ken told us to not let the inspector look at the tub drain (since it was a replacement there was no inspection needed on this work). He said it was done ‘correctly’ but keep the inspector looking at the sink drain and not the tub.

• The inspector flagged the tub drain.

• Ken returned to fix the issue and presented us with a $1,200 bill to fix what he didn’t do right.

• My husband and I patched our living room ceiling and applied a labor-intensive Italian Carerra finish.

• Soon afterward the living room ceiling began leaking at the joint where the 2 drains came together.

• We fired Ken and had another plumber from Soderlin come out. Three holes were opened in the newly finished ceiling and was determined the ring around the joint wasn’t tight enough.

• Immediately the blame game started saying it was the contractor (who did the ceiling) that caused the joint to leak.

• My husband and I did the work and didn’t shove a 2x4 (that ran the length of the ceiling) under the pipe. The 2x4 in question had been there for years.

• Jason in management insisted someone else caused the issue and refused to come and look at the 2x4 that was removed. He stood by his plumber Ken (who was the one who did a shoddy job on the tub ventilation and told us to not let an inspector look in that direction.)

• We put this debate on the back burner and asked Jeff to come and finish our bathroom. The toilet, sink, and fixtures needed to be installed (the price of the toilet and installing the sink and fixtures was all included in the original bid.)

• When Jeff put the fixtures on the tub and tested it, there was water on our living room floor. He had put an O-ring on incorrectly.

• Jeff insisted we needed to pay $1139 for a new toilet and installation. He refused to look at the original paperwork showing the toilet and installation of sink and fixtures was included.

• Jeff wouldn’t leave our property without a credit card number to pay a bill we didn’t owe.

Just this week we were having a strange experience with a big-box retailer installation team and Soderlin came to the rescue with a same- day solution. We had a leaking water heater that needed to be replaced. We had called the original installer to fix it. We spent days trying to get them to give us a quote and install a new water heater, all the while having to mop up leaking water regularly. Exasperated that we were getting no where, I called Soderlin this morning. They sent Jeff Johnson out within the hour. He was fabulous! He discussed our options with me. Also, he took the time to get on the phone and discuss the options with my husband, who had many questions. With all questions answered, we went ahead with the new water heater, which is part of a high energy system, and not your usual water heater. By 1:00 pm we had the new water heater installed! It was incredible that: 1) Soderlin had the one we needed on hand, 2) that they could get it to us within an hour, and 3) that it could be installed immediately. Jeff was fantastic to work with - professional, personable, knowledgeable, patient with our questions and all around a great person to be working with. We are totally satisfied with the process and workmanship.

Unfortunately, we had a bathroom pipe freeze and burst on Christmas Day. Luckily we were home. I called Soderlin's and they picked up right away, which I so appreciated. We turned off the water for the day, spent the night elsewhere, and promptly the next morning, (day after Christmas), Jeff came out and identified our leak, and made it so that we could use water elsewhere in the house. Then just a couple days later, Jeff came out again and replaced the broken pipe. We were so happy and relieved. Thank you so much!

I called Soderlin Plumbing because they have been around South Minneapolis for years. From the first call, to problem solved, I was impressed.
The issue was, I have had such horrible water pressure going to my outside water faucet for years. My sprinkler was only able to get about 3 feet high.
Ken came over and assessed the issue within 10 minutes and recommended a solution. I agreed and he got to work. Ken was trustworthy and experienced. I am 100% pleased with the results and I no longer have sprinkler envy of my neighbors. Thank you so much Ken!

Our hot water heater went out recently and needed to be replaced. Soderlin was able to set a specific time on when they could stop by and followed up with me before they arrived to confirm the appointment, rather than showing up and not allowing me to schedule around my own work.

Jeff Johnson provided me excellent service on the spot. He was able to provide a quote immediately, alert me of potential issues that could pop up (but didn’t), and provided suggestions for things to consider in the future on things that didn’t require repair.

We have an old house and the complete replacement was done in 2 hours from the time Jeff arrived, even though at the time I thought it was only a small repair.

Looking forward to reaching out to again in the future.

One hour after my initial call to Soderlin, Chad was working on the furnace. He had to replace the motherboard so after going to the supplier and getting an OEM board my house has heat again. Here is the rub: Chad gave me the option to go and get my own board and install myself (HVAC school 40 years ago) because I have some knowledge. Who does that? Certainly I could have saved some dollars but I would have to go get the part and install. If for any reason the new board is defective I cannot return it once it is installed. If they do the work it is under warranty. Maybe you could find a place a little less expensive, good for you but I will recommend Chad and the Soderlin company to do furnace repair. Others comment about Soderlin's other employees doing a good job so I guess if your furnace fails, call them and STAY WARM! +

Jeff Johnson, master plumber just left the house. We discovered our water heater had sprung a leak. We called Soderlin. We have a service contract with them, Jeff showed up at our house within in an hour. By the time he had the old heater disconnected a new 50 gallon gas water heater was delivered.
All went very smoothly. Jeff was quick, clean and courteous. Thanks for a job well done.

Amazing quick repair of our kitchen leak behind the wall at a fair price. Our plumber was on time and courteous. I am very happy to know this has been repaired correctly. We had a different plumber out here a couple weeks ago, obviously trying to take advantage of us, but Soderlin gave us a fair quote for the job.

I am 100% satisfied with the help I got from Soderlin today. I called this morning about my broken kitchen sink faucet and it was replaced by 2pm. Jason was friendly, professional, hardworking and helpful. He answered all my questions about some plumbing related matters with patience and expertise. Really didn't want to write this review, especially in times like these but i feel it's necessary. Had an issue with two pipes in my home and was quoted with an upfront price of $310 to clear both of them after several calls with their office. When the plumber (who i believe was contracted) arrived he gets into my home, surveys the situation and says in total both pipes should take around 1.25 hours to clear but if it takes longer it would be $50/15 minutes it took longer. I found this off-putting considering no time-limit was mentioned when i initially set up this appointment, and definitely no mention of additional charges if it went over said limit. That being said I didn't make a big fuss at the time given he was already in home said both should be relatively easy. The plumber completed the work, while being very friendly and talkative throughout job and while i'm not here to criticize work ethic or style, he seemed rather casual with his time given said time-limit. That being said he completed the work and notified me that by his calculation it took 30 minutes longer than expected so i'd be charged $100 additional. Not wanting to get into a discussion there (we had two people working from home in small apartment) i provided payment. I called the next day to discuss with office to get further clarification on this pricing structure and while initially was met with openness and professionalism it rather abruptly turned south when i expressed that i wasn't satisfied with the solution to refund me 50% of the additional time charges. In fact whoever i was speaking to on the phone accused me of trying to take advantage of them and was forced to hang up on me before They were going to say something they regret. Let me say I did not raise my voice or resort to personal attacks throughout this call, I am very empathetic to small businesses especially during these trying times but I must make a stand when i feel i am being taking advantage of as my main issue were these fees that were unclear, arbitrary, and not communicated up front.
