They sent a great technician (Rich B.) who arrived when promised, was professional in his evaluation of my plumbing issues, was clear with the quote, and was excellent in the delivery of the quoted service. Rich B. ensured the space was clean after the services, walked me through his work, and then followed up days later to ensure I was still satisfied. Was a great service experience. Highly recommended.

They came out on a Sunday night at 8pm in the rain to deal with our problem. Nick was great. He was here within an hour after we called , is very knowledgeable, and had no issue with going out in the rain to inspect our main line with the camera. He was up front and honest about the pricing. No extra charge for weekend or evening service. Will use this company again in the future.

We contacted John Mcaffee for a toilet that wasn't flushing properly, and seem to be overflowing as well. John was very pleasant, respectful, on time, and let us know when he was en route and his ETA which was helpful for us. He worked throughly and cleaned up afterwards. After John was finished we went ahead and set up another appt to have him look at our other bathrooms. We will be recommending him to others.

They charged us over $730 to take the toilet off the wall, snake it, then put the toilet back on the wall (2 hour job). They refused to provide a breakdown of services but informed us they included over a $100 charge stating Nick had to take 5 flights of stairs with his equipment when he took the elevator directly to our condo and used our shopping cart for his equipment. John, the supervisor is refusing to credit this charge despite knowing this was not the case. They also charged us for other services they did not provide and are refusing to credit these charges. We were informed it would be an all day job based on the charge that was quoted. It was a job that took approximately 2 hours and they still charged the entire amount and charged us for services they did not provide.

Immoral work practices. Worst company I ever did business with. They basically hold the homeowner hostage according to the knowledge of the work being done. So if you're not sure of what is going on there going to rip you off.the guy told me he was going to replace 10 ft of iron pipe and then replaces two feet of plastic pipe and wants to charge me thousands of dollars. In my heart I feel like suing these guys in small claims court. It's been over a week and they still did not cash the check. What kind of company are we really dealing with here.seems like the person at the top is the puppet Master instructing the workers what to do from moment-to-moment to extract the most amount of money out of the person's pocket. If you see these red trucks on the road they are a disaster

Very happy with their professionalism .....John was our plumber and he quickly went to work to made sure our drain at our restaurant🌴 Thai Coconut 🥥 here in Clearwater issues were resolved. There is everything wrong with this company. I needed them to go out to a commercial job site and they had my number in their system wrong so they could not call me to verify what was needing to be looked at to get an estimate even though I told Heather exactly what I needed done that day. I called the next day and asked them what happened and to go back out to the location to give me an estimate. Heather then claimed I was sending them on a “wild goose chase” when they are the ones who messed up this call for an estimate. I was then told I would need to put a credit card on file for the estimate now which I was told was free. This is for a large commercial grocery store and needed to be taken care of immediately. I have a lot of plumbing needs and Mr. Rooter will not be the company I will be using for my commercial properties. I have found a real plumbing company that will take care of my commercial properties.

I experienced the worse that could happen when looking to hire a professional company to service our clogged toilets at our rental property. I informed the rep over the phone to please do not start any work before contacting me with an update on what's causing the issues (my tenant was in the home - and I asked them to not work with him but through me) They forgot my request and ended up servicing the home without my consent which they did give me a discount due to the miss. but the rep caused the toilet to leak into our adjacent bedroom and carpets were soaked. The process for them to resolve and address the issue has been a nightmare and I am still waiting to hear back from the manager who was assigned to ensure it was repaired and resolved.

Nick Waugh was great. He was on time to give an estimate on our gas tankless hot water heater for routine maintenance. I was talking to him about the water pressure in the house and some general questions about faucets. He went beyond with advice and tips on cleaning of the faucets and explained how the water pressure works. I would recommend Mr. Rooter and ask for Nick, very happy he came out. I have used this service now three times and all have been unexpected problems. Richard the technician has always been efficient, friendly, and explains things well. They have always worked with me to get someone out to me asap and the call service has been very nice even working with me late at night. The only downside is their prices but they offer coupons through mail and online.

$250 just for them to run a cable with a camera after being told what the problem is. Didnt even spend 5 minutes diagnosing the issue before telling me its $250. The girl making the appointment said it was nothing for them to come run a cable and see what was going on. This company sucks. I will never work with them again.

I called Mr Rooter of Clearwater to get their free estimate for replacing the valve body/faucet/handles to our bathtub. We had purchased the replacement parts at Lowes. A plumber, Raymond N., and his helper came and looked at the plumbing briefly, then gave me a flat rate of $951.44. They seemed to think I was going to let them go ahead with the work right then, and looked nonplussed when I thanked them for their time and said at that price I would have to get more estimates, and would call them if theirs was the best. To my great relief, it wasn't. I found a plumbing service that gave me a rate of $95 an hour over the phone. So even when there were some leaks in the old pipes that made it take longer than the usual couple of hours for this type of project, I ended up paying just over half the amount quoted by Raymond, and felt very confident I got value for my money with the plumber who did the work. Buyer beware.

Wow. I never thought I'd review a plumber, but these guys were great. We own a STR and needed immediate help. These guys came in an hour, diagnosed the issue, came the next day for 12 hours, even stayed on a Friday night till 11pm getting everything fixed before my renters came in the next morning. Extremely professional, nice hardworking guys. Left our property spotless. You are our plumbers for life.

Ron and another tech(name?) were here for about an hour and a half today trying to figure out my water pressure issue. They even were on the phone trouble shooting with the manufacturer of my water heater to try and figure out what was going . They were both very friendly and listened to what I had to say and knew that my frustration was growing especially since my water heater is only 2 1/2 yrs old and still under warranty. Called on Saturday due to water heater not working and no hot water in house. I called and asked if there was a charge for someone to come take a look. She said no. Then the fellow came and said that I had to pay $240 for him to look at it. I think more information should be given when calling in. He was here for about 15 minutes said nothing could be fixed and that I need to replace unit. The unit is 7 years old so that is understandable but seriously $250 for 15 minutes of work. He did give me a price to replace but now that I think back on it, was he going to fix it right then and there??? I dont know he didn’t say anything so I offered up that I would call back in to make appointment. But was hesitant on working with them due to the $250 inspection. Also I just looked on line and there is some special discount for new customers no one offered me any special. Making the money on people while they are most desperate. Also just a note when he left I looked on youtube how to clear the error on the water heater which was causing the unit not to respond and I just did what the guy said and I managed to fix it so at least I could have hot water tonight for the kids and it’s working now.

I had another plumber tell me that I needed to hire a concrete company to dig out a hole INSIDE my back room so he could get to the pipe in question. We had recently moved into a new house with a septic system in the Clearwater area, and had never previously had a septic tank before. With all the heavy rain we get here, a common problem with septics are that they back up sometimes during consecutive days with heavy rain. I didn't know if that was normal or if something was wrong, so we called Mr. Rooter and had someone come out the next day. John McAffee was the service tech that came out, asked what was going on, took a look at our septic tank and explained how they work, and suggested course of action. He suggested it was probably due to get pumped out soon As a precaution, but it was likely due to the heavy rain we had for a week straight and that after it dries up, the tank should go back down to a normal level. Nothing was done beyond that, but John was nice and professional and took the time to look at it, explain how septics work and put my mind at ease being reassured that what I had experienced was common and had an easy/regular solution.

This is the second time that I've had an issue come up while guests were using our home. We called wanting to know how soon we could have service done on our garbage disposal. Suddenly dont have hot water at night. I called the company to come out and customer service only the mentioned about the dispatch fee of $100, once they find out what is the problem they will let me know the repair cost before proceed. When the technician came, he called and said they have to charge for diagnostic fee of $369. Since I already paid for dispatch fee of $100, I just need to pay for the different of $269. I wish I knew about the diagnostic fee ahead of time before asking them to come out. At the end the technician only has to reset the water heater and it working again. He in/out within 10-15 mins max. He even said I do airbnb and I make money, so do they plus everything has a price…. But sorry I dont make $369 dollar for renting out my place for a day compare to what he charged me $369 for less 15 mins works and less 30 mins drive. Forgot to mention, I have told him “you might just need to press the reset button sir”, then he said “sorry mam I can’t do anything until you pay $269”… I already paid $100 to get him out here, I can’t let my guests stay there without hot water. By the way, I was not in town on that day otherwise I could have done this myself and dont need to pay $369. Company should be more transparency so customer can make right decision. I share my story so you dont make the same mistake like I did.

I usually never give reviews but I definitely have to this time because the quality of service I received from Richie Brescia of Mr. ROOTER was 5 stars at least..I upgraded my water heater to a hybrid water heater to be more energy efficient.When Richie took out my old water heater it was shorter and was also on a pedestal he had to remove the pedestal which was attached to my walls . After removing the pedestal there were 2 large holes in my walls which would need to be drywalled but Richie doesnt like to leave a job incomplete and not looking perfect. He asked me to get the drywall, mud, tape and texture I will just do it for for you. Richie is a plumber and did not have to do my drywall because that was not his job BUT his attention to detail and the fact that he takes so much pride in his work couldn't let him leave a job without making it look perfect.. If you ever use Mr Rooter ask for Richie you wont be disappointed in his work. I forgot to to add he did all this after accidentally stepping on a nail and I'm sure in pain.. Amazing Job Richie

Nick Waugh arrived in less than an hour and went right to work and got a new water heater installed posthaste. Nick was very friendly and professional. Nick came out because I had a clogged sink where my garbage disposal was working but the sink was not draining. Heather called me right before he was coming and she was really nice. They don't charge extra and are on it. I had called another plumber before them and still haven't heard from them. When Nick got here he checked and the clog was cleared so there was no work to do. He said see you - in other words no charge. I will call them again when I need plumbing work.

I don't understand how this company has 4.5 star Google rating. All of these folks that gave them 5 stars must like paying 3 times the price of what it actually will cost with another plumbing company.
I needed valve body/faucet/handles kit installed/replaced for our shower/tub. With me providing the parts, Mr Rooter priced the job at ~950$ (with them providing the kit the cost went up to 1250$). Are you kidding me? Of course i had to shop around to compare and found another local plumbing company that did an excellent job and the cost was less than 30% of what Mr. Rooter quoted.
Oh how i wish i did my research before hiring MR. Rooter, but I got tricked by the 25$ off coupon that i received from them. If you look exactly a year ago an user named Penny Birch-Williams, hired Mr. Rooter for the exact same job and they provided her with exact same outrageous prices.
I wasted 75$ on a service call for MR. Rooter to come out, but then saved almost 700$ by NOT hiring them. Be wise and shop around
And by the way Mr. Rooter will also try to sign you up for multi-year service plan that supposedly provides some savings/discounts... No thanks. How about you charge a fair price instead?

We just had our house repiped after a hot water leak in the exterior wall. My Wife and I had the misfortune of having an in-wall leak. Our warranty company enlisted the service of a plumbing outfit that will remain nameless. Needless to say, it was issue after issue with the company that was assigned to us. We were finally given the OK to reach out to someone else - Which is when we reached out to Mr. Rooter. Nadine (whom I believe is in dispatch, sorry if I got that wrong). Has been amazing. She's been empathetic to our situation and has followed through from cradle to grave, ensuring that we were aware of everything before we even had to ask. Adam, the gentlemen who came out to make the repairs, was timely, polite and knows his stuff! I can almost guarantee that it took me longer to write this than it it took for Adam to make the repair. Best part? Mr. Rooter saved us nearly $1,000. Needless to say, all future work will be done through Mr. Rooter as they've earned my trust, a rarity in today's day & age.

I highly recommend Mr. Rooter!!! We have had technicians, Rich and John here to handle an emergency. They came out after 6pm within an hour, diagnosed the problem and made appropriate arrangements to return the next day to fix the blockage. It was determined that the problem was the responsibility of the City. They contacted the utilities department at the city, who sent the emergency squad out. The techs met with the city and verified the issue was theirs. They were able to proceed with the agreed upon service and it was completed satisfactorily. Was have had several plumbing problems due to the age of the home and Mr. Rooter has provided excellent and timely service. I recommend becoming an Advantage customer which has saved us on our plumbing repairs. We will remain customers!

Nick was awesome! He came out quickly for an emergency plumbing situation at a beach rental and patiently/professionally dealt with a less than happy landlord at 9pm on a Saturday night. On top of that, we had called several other companies that claim to have “emergency plumbing services,” all of which could not come out the same day. Inability to have use of a toilet warrants a serious emergency that needs to be dealt with immediately. Mr Rooter was quick and professional. Thanks again!

I would not recommend this company to no one. They left us hanging undone job. They scammed the owner out of hundreds of dollars, they came out to put a pump in the septic tank, said could not do it did not have fittings on truck. Charged for coming and noting done. 2nd time came out different man did not have a pump in his truck , said he has to run to Clearwater to pick a pump up, said will be back in a hour to hour and a half, never came back. Left the lid off of the tank so someone could fall in, promise never use this company.

I have never used or even considered using Mr. Rooter until yesterday, January 26, 2019. We were replacing our hot water tank and did not want to just throw it in the dumpster. As I was removing debris I noticed a Mr. Rooter truck at the end of our parking lot. I thought that maybe Mr. Rooter (if they recycled) would want the old tank that was sitting outside. As I was getting ready to put a note on the truck I noticed the employee packing up from a job. I asked him about the tank and if Mr. Rooter would want it. His response to me was no we don't recycle but I would be more than happy to help you and will put it in my truck and haul it away. At that point he even offered help with our job if we needed it. I responded that my friend was getting ready to run to ACE Hardware to get some additional items to complete the job. He said let me finish up here and I will be right there to help. Within moments this young man showed and helped us with the problem we were having allowing us to complete our job. This young man's name is Nick Waugh and his unbelievable willingness to help us was above and beyond. He was the most respectful and personable person I have met in the service industry for quite some time. He is the reason I would use Mr. Rooter and I would definitely request Nick to be my Technician.

After a very busy weekend, late on a Sunday night, our toilets began to back up and in quite a serious way.
Mr. Rooter had assisted us in a previous situation, so we reached out to Mr. Rooter who was very quick and very punctual in responding to our request.
The owner came by, which was a very important part of our decision making as it showed us how they took the situation and its importance to us. Adam and Luke also came with the owner.
After clearing our sewer lines, Adam reviewed the lines with a camera walking our family through what was seen. This was very enlightening and would also assist us in making the decision to fully correct the issues with the pipes that would fix the situation completely. Adam did a great job helping us understand the situation, answering all the questions, even the ones we went over again.
We certainly did not want this to happen again, especially while guests were at the house.
What happened next was a breath of fresh air. The project included significant digging and laying of pipes (correcting a serious flaw). Luke (the owners Son) and his assistant spent the next 6 days completing a very large project with never a negative attitude or frustrated look. They were focused and clearly following a specific outline of what to complete.
Luke’s professionalism, work ethic, vocabulary and knowledge of what needed to be done made it so we did NOT have to micromanage the project. We made ourselves available if needed, asked if they needed any refreshments without having to ask where they were. We were informed each time when they took a break and lunch or dinner. Often they worked after nightfall.
Our family we were ALL impressed with the Company AND Luke.
Today, Our family would like to highly recommend this Company, Luke, his father the Owner, Adam and Luke’s assistant.

Mr. Rooter is timely and they do get the job done. However, their prices are outrageous. Even with their $50.00 coupon I paid $203.21. They unclogged the kitchen line which had grease build up. I own and manage quite a few rentals and have never paid anything close to this price. I would say I usually average $90-$100. I was taken in by the coupon. Never again.

Sunday afternoon…4:00pm…knock on the door and my neighbor tells me that there is water leaking on the side of the house. The feed to the water softer has broken. I called Mr Rooter and they were there by 5:20 and had the problem totally fixed by 6:00pm. Jon was great and I would highly recommend.

Nice tech, ridiculous prices. Had to send him away. To put on a tub faucet that I had the parts for the charge was $200. It takes like 5-10 minutes. To replace a washer hose, another under 30 minute job was another $200. Insane pricing! They need to warn people as they do their pricing via an app that clearly lists price per service so there is no question as to how much it is, making the excuse they cant know until they are there BS. Unless you like paying 2-5 times what anyone else charges, don't bother.

I selected this business because they had a great coupon in the newspaper. I usually don't choose a business that I am not familiar with, but the coupon was attractive. As soon as Dustin and Heath arrived on my doorstep I was very impressed. They are neat and clean, even bringing their brand new door mat. Very professional, and took the time to explain things to me clearly. Although I initially called about a clogged drain, I immediately began thinking of other plumbing issues that I have. They were kind enough to work with me, as I am on a fixed budget, and we came up with a plan that I could handle. Heath was particularly knowledgeable and they were both very professional. I will not hesitate to call back when I have a problem, and Heath reached out to let me know that they could help me with my Water Conditioning system as well. I'll certainly call again!

We had a pipe burst inside our wall. I decided to call Mr. Rooter because a co-worker recommended them. From the time I called to the time John arrived, it was less than an hour. We were incredibly happy to be working with John and Mr. Rooter on the whole unfortunate event. They were clear and informative on what needed to happen as well as providing us all of our options. They even recommended a flood damage company that has been a blessing through this entire disaster. I can't say enough great things about the company, the way they care, and how they handled our circumstance. I do appreciate their pricing. It's menu pricing. So whether the contractor is at your house for one day or six you pay the same price. I thought that was respectful, and didn't have to worry about a contractor taking advantage of us.

I had an unfortunate incident at 9:30 PM on a Sunday night. I had called our regular plumber and they were unsure if they could even get anyone out the next day, much less that night.

I found Mr. Rooter of Clearwater, called and spoke with the dispatcher and had someone at my house by 11:00 pm, and the problem solved before midnight. The price was extremely fair when you consider it was almost midnight on a Sunday and he had to work outside in the dark.

First of all Heather answered the phone. I didn't have to leave a message and wait for anyone to call me back. I live in a mobile home which sometimes hinders cell service. Wen I asked if she could text instead of call to let me know when the tech. would arrive it was no problem. When Nick Waugh arrived he and his partner were quick to point out that the problem was the main line and likely not my reaponsibility. He waited while I called the office and took the number given for a different company who will come to unclog the line. However, the conversation led to the hopeful sale of the mobile home and he stayed almost 45 minutes longer educating me on everything I should or shouldn't do to help repair and sell the home. He had experience with similar properties and he took his time telling me anything he could think of to help me navigate my way through this unfamiliar territory. He was a wealth of information as what to look for on the plumbing when I buy again and what to avoid. I'm confident he could take care of any plumbing need you might have and offer honest and fair feedback if you needed it. I feel really lucky to have called Mr Rooter and met Nick and his partner. They were so kind and respectful. I would not hesitate to use this company and if I were you I would ask for Nick Waigh.

Called Mr Rooter with a clog issue, and they dispatched their technician, Luke, and said he would be there within an hour... Luke arrived in 45 minutes. It turned out that we were able to fix the situation seconds before his arrival, and as promised, there was no service charge for coming out. However, in addition to this, Luke, who was very professional, knowledgeable, and personable, took the time to make sure that we would not simply have the situation again once he left.

Professionalism, timeliness, adherence to stated charges, and completeness. I would recommend Mr Rooter to friends and family for sure.

Marshall provided excellent customer service and we are extremely happy with the overall work provided. We had a clog in our kitchen sink lines and other companies we called required an estimate fee for the work and were not available to come out for several days. We were pleasantly surprised when Mr. Rooter offered a free estimate and could be out within a few hours of our phone call. Marshall was very friendly, professional and thorough and kept us informed throughout the entire repair process. Work was done in a timely manner with attention to detail and he even cleaned up inside our home before leaving each day (we've had workers leave an absolute mess so this was worth noting). He also worked with us to ensure we got the lowest cost possible and helped us finance the repair which we really appreciated! We were able to join a loyalty program through Mr. Rooter and received 15% off this and all future services which was great. I really feel like Marshall went above and beyond throughout the repair process and we would absolutely recommend this company for any plumbing needs!

This review cannot accurately rate Mr. Rooter's Service Technician, Adam Schmidt. Adam deserves 6 out of 5 stars. Adam explained everything in detail of our plumbing damage so we could easily understand the extent of the repair. He is extremely thorough to the point of perfection. Mr. Rooter is a great company. I called them on an emergency situation that could have caused several thousand dollars in water damage. Within the hour, a one of their service technicians named Kyle Helton was at my door. My plumbing issue was diagnosed and repaired in about 45 minutes of the service tech arriving at my house. I will definitely use Mr. Rooter in the future at my residence as well as my business. Kyle was very friendly and it was obvious that he was very well trained as a plumbing technician. Thanks Mr. Rooter!

The best!
Our faucet snapped off,and we called Mr. Rooter! The problem went beyond the faucet and it soon became evident that we really needed to replace the circa 1973 copper pipes.
So John McAfee was our Mr. Rooter technician and we couldn't have had a better person to service our needs. Along with his thorough understanding of what he was doing and his technical ability to actually do the work- install the new piping throughout the entire house by going in and out of the attic over 2 days- John made sure I was in the loop every step of the way. His explanation of what/why he was doing a particular task was clear, precise, and helpful to a new home owner such as myself.
I was was also impressed by the tools and materials he used. His tools were clean and he kept them orderly and neat- not strewn throughout the workplace; the new piping is the latest piping available; and his work was highlighted by the atheistic - it LOOKS good - you can tell this job was done by someone who cared about what he was doing.
To top it all off, John was most personable, polite, and he showed up on time every day.
And while any plumbing job of this scale is costly, I found Mr. Rooter's pricing for same to be in line with other providers' pricing.
Thanks to John and Mr. Rooter, the value of my new home has appreciated in value.
Choose Mr. Rooter- I'm glad I did!

Quick and reliable. With the shoddy plumbing at my residence, I've had more than my fair share of plumbing emergencies. Mr. Rooter has been more than helpful no matter what time of day.

Truck came with a 60 Foot rooter to a commercial building. I just told him I ran a 100 foot line threw the drain pipe. He wanted to run the 60 foot threw and see if that would help. Then he said he could run a camera 100 feet. None of this would help as I ran my rooter 100 feet three time with no results. I told hime to leave. Gave hime his $64 . Wanted to charge me almost $500 when I know it would do nothing.

Very happy with the technician Dustin M., who came from Mr Rooter Plumbing of Clearwater to fix a few problems we had at our home. Willing and able to complete a few jobs others did not. Great work!!
