I should have asked before starting job what the service charge would be per hour. Seems that service techs act like independent contractors and throw out their own pricing.

My experience with Dovis Plumbing was excellent. Dov the plumber was responsive and very accommodating with my schedule. He assessed the issues quickly and his portion of the job was completed less than 24 hours later. He also coordinated the electrical work that was needed for the job. I highly recommend Dovis Plumbing and give them an A+.
All the work requested was done well but in addition minor things that the technician noticed that would affect the longevity and smooth operation of the toilet and sink were also taken care of because it was the right thing to do. No fuss, no big deal and no additional bill. Great service. We highly recommend them.

Let me start with this is the most efficient company I have ever deal in my life. I had an issue with my bathroom shower, only working the cold water.
Someone from my condo recommend me Dovis plumbing and it surpass my expectations.
I call them on Thursday morning to explain them my issue. Tatiana the office assistant was very knowledgable and kind, he found me a technician within 2 hrs of the call.
They arrived on time, they even text you once the technician is on its way. They came inspected and gave me a solution with a quote.
Next day they arrived 830 very punctual to start the job,
Daniel and Willie fixed my bathroom in a timely manner and Im very grateful with their job and their work ethics

Taysir and Mark were professional, on time, and took the time to explain the whole process and what future services my house may need. Price was cheaper than three other quotes I got from other plumbing companies. They showed up within two hours of my phone call. I can not be more pleased; thank you for the service.
Lastly, they followed covid-19 policies if you care about that.

I had been hesitantly looking to get some plumbing work done in my home after some rough experiences in the past. I randomly met Dovi and came to find out he was the owner of a plumbing company. His demeanor and overall positive vibe instilled confidence so we went ahead and scheduled them. (A much easier process than in the past, and they came out quickly!)
The job was completed yesterday and it was the best experience we have ever had with a plumbing company. Hands down.
Willie our technician was beyond courteous and knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to have him doing this work in our home. He was also very respectful of our sleeping toddler and worked around his nap schedule.
Mark was the 2nd tech who came by to assist and he was equally professional and kind. We could not believe this level of service, especially here in South Florida.
We have hired 4 different plumbing companies in the last 3 years and there was always an issue - whether they didn't show up on time, had a bad attitude, blew off the job or clearly tried to rip us off. Nor were we comfortable leaving them alone in our home. Dovis plumbing eliminated all of those previous worries and the most important part of this review - they did phenomenal work on what I know to be very difficult jobs. We will 100% be hiring them again for both large and small jobs.

Other plumbers had a long wait time for an appointment. Dovis was recommended by another plumber. They came out same day. Mark did good work and was very friendly. They strictly followed Covid protocols and wore booties coverings in the house. Very happy with the service.

When I was cleaning the dishes in the sink this morning, I did not expect to find out that my entire line was clogged. Taysir came out and explained all of our options and exactly how he was going to do the job. Extremely professional and he was able to clean out the line. Having just moved into this home, it was apparent that the previous owners neglected the maintenance aspect and it looked like years of backup in the line caused our issue. It’s a new year and finally this issue has been resolved thanks to Dovis Plumbing. As a tenant I’ve been having this issue with the toilet being backed up ever so often and the landlord wouldn’t fix it; so I took matters into my own hands to find a plumbing service. The technicians Taysir and Mark who were extremely professional and explained everything to me thoroughly which I respect them for were great. Look no further when having plumbing issues the two technicians (Taysir and Mark) at Dovis are the ones to get it done right! As a customer I’m grateful 😀 and would use them again!
Was about to use their service, they were charging me 3 times the amount, got the job done by another company ended up saving 2/3, of Dovis quote price. Would not recommend or use them, save your money by getting another estimate.
This is a great example of an all-around well-run business. These days it is next to impossible to find a reliable, professional and trustworthy contractor so we are so happy to have worked with Dovis on our extensive plumbing project. I’m so impressed with Dovis Plumbing! My gas water heater stopped working. I called at 7 am and David answered promptly and told me he’d do everything possible to fit me in that morning. By 8 am I got a call telling me a technician was on his way. Floyd showed up at 8:30 and got right to work. My heater was fixed shortly after! Floyd was knowledgeable, professional and friendly and explained everything, and David called me that afternoon to make sure I was satisfied with the work. I was also very impressed with how clean they left their work area! I will definitely be calling them again! Highly recommend them!

All in all, Floyd did an excellent job on the work we needed done. I really appreciated the fact that he kept the work area clean and wore covers over his shoes while walking through my home. I have had plumbers in the past that made terrible messes. I would definitely use Dovis Plumbing again and I would recommend them to others.

David & Sean installed a new kitchen water filter and ran new water lines to built-in coffee maker and fridge. Having to pull out the large fridge was no small undertaking. While they were courteous, efficient, and operating room neat, those aren’t their best qualities. When I discovered a leak in the filter on Sunday, I called leaving a message, expecting a call back Mon AM. David called in less than 30 mins and agreed to be back Mon AM. Sean came, but the problem persisted after he left. Another call got David &Sean back and the faulty filter was replaced. Service professionals like Dovis should be judged by how they deal with problems. That’s what really counts. When you NEED these guys, they come running. Who could ask for more? Thanks, guys.

After having a bad experience with other major plumbing company, I called Dovis. Juaneal showed up at the scheduled time. He immediately explained what he was going to do to determined where the clogged pipe was located. After finding the exact location under the house, he returned with Mark to fix the problem. My wife and i are very impressed with the professional conduct they demonstrated at all times. I will recommend Dovis ahead of other companies for showing on time and having very professional plumbers.

After discussing the necessary repairs/installations needed with David, Taysir and Mark arrived at the building by the appointed hour. Finding the lines in the midst of concrete walls to remove the old and leaking galvanized pipes and prep the shower installation was no easy task, but Taysir prevailed and did a beautiful job. He and Mark changed all the emergency valves, the kitchen faucet, and Mark went to get the comfort height toilet with the round top, which was my choice. The only downside was that the tile had had to be broken (and it was my job to find a tiler!!). Fortunately I was able to find one on very short notice, and--five days later--with a weekend in between--the men came back to finish the job. Dovis was very responsive and professional throughout the process, and Taysir and Mark did an excellent job and used quality fixtures. I am so glad to now have modern plumbing in my work in progress apartment!!

You can tell this company is run very well down to the small details. My tech (Taylor) did a great job.
So no one wants to wake up to a leaking toilet, but it happens. To make matters worse, the valve was broken. You can imagine the panic setting in. Found Dovis on Google. They answered on the first call, immediately wanted to help, had a technician to my home in less than 30 minutes.
Willie the tech was very polite, eager to help, assessed the situation quickly. He called frequently to update me with his findings and walked me through all options available to make the right decision that worked best for me.
Once the choice was made, repairs were done in just a few hours. Everything was working as it should. Clean up was neat.
Amazing customer service. Would recommend them to anyone needing this kind of service. Will definitely use them again for future issues.

Taysir and Willie performed the work at my place on 2-9-21. They did a excellent job the shower was looking great and the bide on my toilet worked awesome.
Juaneal the plumber for Dovis came out on 4th of July weekend, and worked very hard in the extreme heat. Chasing down my sewer line blockage. Dovis management Juaneal is an asset to your company. In a world where no one cares about their job, this man stepped up like a pro.
David W. was professional, courteous and wore protective gear. he seemed to know his business and cleaned up after he was done.

I find the plumbers that have serviced us, were polite and professional. They explained what needed to be done. They made sure we understood and asked for approval. My last experience, about 2 weeks ago, I believe they could have taken advantage of the situation, but, did not.

I cannot say whether the work they did was a good value as I have nothing to compare it to, but the cost did not seem unreasonable or I would not have used them. There were a couple of issues that required them to return. They were ready to come the following day, but I wasn't available. They came the next day first thing in the morning and took care of everything. They were minor as things go. All is well now. I would use them again.

Used Dovie when I had clog in mainline from kitchen and laundry room. To fix other quotes we’re over $20k. After being there for a little dovis found cheaper way to run through outside of the house to septic and installed drain field for fraction of the price. They were so fast and quick I was shocked when they told me they were done I thought they were kidding. Would definitely recommend.

The repairman that came out clearly knew what he was doing, and was able to diagnose the issue almost immediately. He did an amazing job, and there was no mess when he was finished replacing the water heater. Highly recommend them, and will use them should I need their services in the future.

Taysir and Mark did a great job replacing my leaky kitchen faucet! It was a kind of difficult job as I had an old, outdated fixture, but they were quick, professional, and reasonably priced. They very quickly sourced a beautiful new faucet with a lifetime warranty and disposed of the old one for me. Made a call in the morning and they came in the afternoon to fix the issue. No waiting to speak to a rep, the guy took all the info he needed on my first call. He gave me a short window on when to expect the tech and to my surprise (with vendors in Miami) they came on time!
The tech was very friendly, he fixed the issue while doing his inspection which saved us bunch of time, very efficient!
He explained what was wrong and what he did to fix the issue. Price was reasonable!

Tatiana was amazing. She made me feel warm and she was very understanding. Mark was our plumber. He was early. Our scheduled time was 12-4. They got there early. He took his time looked at the problem. Which was a pipe issue on the roof that need to be a certain inch off the roof. And he showed us all of our options. And explained everything. Oh yeah when making the appointment Tatiana was very knowledgeable. She knew exactly what I was asking for even though I didn’t. Dovis plumbing responded to my home and was able to deal with the multiple plumbing problems that I had. Mark explained what had to be done. He was on time and definitely will use them. I appreciated the communication from the first call up until when the technician showed up.
First off Floyd was full of energy courteous and very knowledgeable. He ran a camera thoroughly through the Main Kitchen line that was fully clogged with grease. Thanks to David and Dovis Plumbing for fast, courteous service. We had old refrigerator removed and developed a problem when the ice maker line started leaking. It’s was an emergency, we needed to have it repaired as we were only in town for the day. Dovis told us their guy would be there within the hour and David arrived just as promised in company shirt (and masked) and was able to provide a solution to address the leak until we can address a more complex long term plumbing need from someone else’s poor workmanship. Dovis charges about 35% more than any of their competitors. They are at the highest end of South Florida plumbing contractors. He left my house spotless clean after performing extensive repairs in two bathrooms. Overpriced. They had a reasonable $45 service fee to come look at the work, but we needed a 1/4 inch cut off a pipe because it was too long for a faucet fixture and they wanted $195 to cut a 1/4 inch off a pipe?! So we essentially threw away $45 and lost 2h of our day. I inquired as to the explanation for the steep price (was this more complicated than we thought?) And the answer was that there are hidden costs to a job such as gas for the truck, paying 2 technicians to come over (which is silly because we explained the job when we called, they chose to send 2) and the office costs, etc. Every business has those costs that shouldn't reflect so heavily on such a simple job and he could not give me a better reason for this specific job so I don't buy it personally, you can decide for yourself.
Edit: Changing from 2 to 4 stars because without me asking I got a call letting me know they reimbursed us the service fee of $45! Really appreciated that!

Dovis is our savior! I walked into my garage this morning and found water all over the floor. Our water heater sprung a leak and water was gushing out all over the place.
My neighbor saw the water from his driveway and recommended Dovis plumbing, he swears by them. He had a some leaks in his town house that they repaired.

We required an immediate repair of the old pipe inside the bathroom wall. After a few calls to non-responsive plumbers I called Dovis Plumbing. I just found their number on Google.
A plumber, his name is Mark, was immediately available to assess the problem and give me the estimates. Next day Mark showed up on time and fixed everything as promised for the estimated price. It is a rental property and we have tenants on vacation. This could be a major hassle, but Mark did everything quickly, closed the hole in the wall, so the tenants could use the shower and cleaned everything up. No complaints from anyone.

Extremely unhappy. Very expensive. Paid about ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS for only three hours of work (with a young man helping him). Would not tell me the prices of the individual things... I think he just charged me the most he thought I would pay. Not only that, but he only fixed 6 of the 8 items, but said he would charge me full price anyways because he tried. Fixing it doesn't matter. Talking to other people I clearly overpaid by HUNDREDS of dollars. Then he broke something. He did come back to look at it, but then I ended up paying MORE labor for him to completely change out the faucet since the old one was now destroyed. Do yourself a favor and compare with another offer before trying him.
Mark was prompt, courteous and left everything clean. Great service! Will definitely call Dovis Plumbing again when needed.

The techs were nice, the work seems solid, the price, however, was quite high. A labor rate just shy of $1000 per hour - brain surgeons are paid less. $475 for 30’ of work replacing a leaky P trap with a single piece of PVC pipe* under my kitchen sink. If you have more money than you know what to do with, this might be the company for you. Not for the faint of heart.
*Correction: Davis from Dovis called to inform me that all of the pipe work under my sink was replaced, not just the leaky section, presumably to extend the life of the repair which is not a permanent fix but an improvement on the jerry rig that was there previously from a former owner. This repair included several additional pieces of PVC and a higher quality metal nut beneath the strainer. In light of this, I have adjusted my rating a bit. Another point of contention was the length of time that the techs were at my house, which I was told was an hour and a half. I can only account for 10’ of assessment and explanation, the 30’ of work, and 5’ for payment. The rest of the time they were outside my home.
My overall assessment remains the same - that the work seems solid but the price is too high. If money is no object and you want to make sure things are done right, I would not necessarily rule out Dovis. If you are on any kind of a budget, I would suggest you solicit other estimates.

The landscaping supervisor for my development noticed the meter box was retaining water and overflowing at times. I contacted Tatiana from Dovis plumbing and she was able to schedule an appointment for the following day. The two technicians (Willie & Daniel) arrived as scheduled and determined there was a leak after they ran a few tests. They provided an estimate based on the work they projected they had to do. A few hours later, after digging to underground pipes by the box, they located the leak and replaced the pipes. Damage was due to tree roots and they documented it with photos so I could address the issue with my HOA. The amount due was the amount of the estimate so they didn’t up charge me which I was worried about. Tested the system to make sure the leak was fixed. Tatiana called the next business day to follow up with me on the service call and my overall satisfaction. Overall I was completely satisfied. Very pleased with the next day service, the updates from the technicians while they worked and the follow up with the office. Would recommend them and will use them again if the.need arises.
Dovis Plumbing responded the same day to a problem that I had been having with my main drain. They used their camera to diagnose an unseen pipe issue which would have been a recurring issue. The technicians were courteous and informed me of a range of options to correct the issue. Overall good experience.

Great experience with Dovis Plumbing. Professional, knowledgeable and courteous. I had 2 plumbing estimates. Technician Juaneal gave me 4 options in my estimate, and answered all my questions.The other firm didn’t show for the 1st appointment and rescheduled for the next day and their price was significantly higher. The office worked to get me on the schedule the next day, a Friday, so I would have hot water for the weekend. Juaneal was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He worked in a very confined space, completed the work, left the area clean and answered all my questions. Thank you again Juaneal! This project required an electrician that Dovis set up. She came in after the old tank removal and did her work in a professional and courteous manner. There was no delay in coordinating the two trades. I’m very happy with Dovis Plumbing customer service. Mark showed up right on time and installed a new water heater and replaced a main water shutoff valve. He did it seamlessly. I don’t think I’ve ever worked with someone who is as knowledgeable, professional and respectful as Mark is. Overall, it’s nice to work with a company that hires the right people to represent them and know how to get the job done right. There is no other plumbing company that is worth calling other than Dovis plumbers. I spoke with David The manager and he immediately understood what I needed and sent over his two best guys Mark and Taysir. Well that’s my opinion, but they were truly outstanding. The job took a lot longer than we had all anticipated, but they diligently stayed and worked until late night to make sure the problem was taken care of. David was very nice. My regular plumber happened to be booked all week and there was water coming out under my son’s floor. So I had to find another plumber. David’s company received good reviews so I called him. One of his associates was supposed to come on Monday, the day I called, between 1 and 3. Around 2:45 I called David to find out if and when his associates were coming, only to find out that they were running late because of some issues with the job they were working on. David said he would call me back in a few minutes with an ETA. At 4:10 I called David again and rescheduled for the following morning between 9 and 11.
David arrived Tuesday morning around 10:50. He discovered that the water in my son’s room originated from the toilet in the half bath. David replaced the toilet, valve, and flange, and gave us the name of a restoration company.
We really thank him for helping us out so much. There was much more damage than we thought.

I had water everywhere and no hot water! Dovis showed up the same day. I wasn't available to be present when the work was performed. Floyd came the same day that I called. A P-1 code was flashing. He arrived in exactly 1 hour.
He explained to me that he must diagnose the tankless water heater. He explained the tank can sometimes build up sediments if you don't maintain it properly. He flushed the system and cleaned the filter and I asked if I could watch and he said yes. He was very nice and professional. He explained everything very clear. These Guys are great! Floyd came out first thing in the morning
and got my toilets unstuffed, Friendly honest and reasonable
prices. Also gave me estimate to repair piping.

I was in an emergency where my bathroom drain water was backing up into my kitchen sink. Ewww! I found Dovis on google and read the reviews. What everyone is saying is right! This is a 5 star company. The plumber worked around my busy schedule to inspect my pipes and gave me a reasonable quote. I asked for him to fix the problem the same day and he was ready and equipped to do so, and he did fixed it fast and efficiently. The plumber, I believe his name is Dave or David, was personable and cared for my interests. I love the service we received and will be keeping this company for any future needs. I would recommend them to anyone!
It’s unfortunate I can only rate these guys 5 stars. They made a short notice trip after Best Buy ruined my kitchen plumbing and helped me out a lot. These guys are an 11 out of 10. Highly recommend.

David was accommodating to our schedule, responsible in calling us back and kept us informed before making any changes. He educated us on our best options and taught us a more efficient way of filtering our water system. He fixed a leak responsible for our main water. I had a leak in my shower I called the company and talked to the owner David, he sent Floyd for a diagnostic. After finding the source of the problem, he replaced the aged and faulty valve by a new one: a one hand shower valve. Floyd was very cordial, respectful and professional. He did an excellent work. They came out and they were so honest with me it was not your typical plumbing job it had something to do with the heater of a pool. I would absolutely trust this company for any other plumbing job that you might need in your home. I appreciated your complete honesty they were very sweet and I can see a very nice company to work with. They didn’t even charge me for coming out since they were not able to do the job. I would highly recommend them

I called for a severely clogged toilet and they sent someone out that very day. Floyd was punctual, friendly and fixed the problem immediately. He even looked at a few other plumbing issues we were having and provided pricing for them. Most companies make you schedule another appointment to have something else looked at. I will definitely be using these guys again and plan on having them fix my shower as well. Thanks again, Floyd!
What an easy and efficient experience. David was very professional in coordinating with myself and my out of state landlord to repair my toilet quickly. He had shoe covers and a mask the entire repair. He also tweaked part of the toilet to flush more effectively without me even saying anything. 10/10 would use them again in the future and recommend to anyone needing a plumber.

Wholeheartedly recommending Dovis plumbing!! My water heater stopped working after some electrical issues in our home. We called them in the morning and they were able to come to us right away. They found and fixed the problem in around 15 minutes. Aside from fixing the problem in record time, they were friendly and professional! They will be my go-to plumbers from now on.

Dovi has been super helpful every time I have called him. He came really quick (which is great considering that most of the times when you’re in a plumbing situation it’s quite urgent), but he always responds fast. He assess the problem and then tells me how much it’s gonna cost me, so no surprises. His work is impecable, everything works perfect after he fixed it. The refrigerator waterline shut-off valve was leaking and had to be replaced along with the wall box. The technician seemed knowledgeable and very professionald but this company is super expensive, hence the rating. I'm sure that I could have had the repair completed for less, however I was traveling the next day and pressed for time so used them.
Professional and hard working. David and his crew took great care of us. We’d tried other plumbers and either they were flaky, to busy, or just plain cheats. Dovis was awesome helped my wife and I with a problem with our last contractor and displayed patience and follow through to get the job done. We would be happy to employ them again!

I just had my water heater replaced by dovis plumbing, david came out to check the job and gave me 4 options to complete it, could have done it the same day but i live in a condo and had to schedule the water to be turned off in building. David showed up the next day on time and made short work of difficult job! Excellent workmanship!! and a nice guy. Thank you david!

Dovi was very courteous and approachable. I needed a gas line ran into the kitchen so i can install a new stove. He came out puncutally and gave me a quote. Then we brainstormed and found a way to do it differently and got requoted. He was done in less than two hours and did a tremendous job, very clean as well.

We had ceiling pipes repaired on March 26th, 2021 by Dovis Plumbing and it was a really positive experience! Shamara in the main office helped to book my appointment that same day; she was very professional & courteous. Taysir did the initial assessment and within less than 24-hours my leaking ceiling pipes were replaced with new ones. Taysir was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. He communicated with ETA and showed up on time as promised. The work was done in the timeframe that was given. The two areas that required cutting in the ceiling was done neatly and at a minimum. He and his colleague left the space they were working in tidy and with minimal mess because they were courteous enough to use canvas drop clothes -which I very much appreciated.
I'd highly recommend using them, as they offered a great cost-value compared to other companies, and they did a really great job in detecting the leak and replacing the pipes.
Fantastic work, Floyd fixed on ongoing leak that was costing me thousands, as well as new water valve shutoff and superb shower work.

I've had a few different experiences working with Dovis Plumbing. Dov and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable and they take their time to make sure you are satisfied with the work completed. Dov came by to replace a bad pipe in my back yard, connected the water line to a new fridge, set up piping for a new sink, reconnected my dish washer and also connected a garbage disposal to the sink. I was happy with the work. I'd recommend Dovis Plumbing to anyone looking for a trusted plumber to work on a plumbing project you have in mind.
