The gentleman that came to give me a quotes pricing was outrageous to begin with. $250 for a permit? They cost $75! They never followed up with me or sent my formal quote as I was promised. So basically you just sent a stranger to my house for NOTHING but to waste my time.

The next day I had another renowned plumbing company come in to quote replacing my water heater & their cost was less than Cass AND they spotted a few code violations. They were able to fix the code violations, replace my water heater properly and were STILL less expensive.

I would NOT recommend Cass Plumbing as they do not know what they're doing and fail to follow through.

Cass plumbing catered to my every need during my bath room makeover. Brian was assigned to handle my project. I found him to be friendly, extremely informative, attentive and knowledgeable. Always arriving early, Brian and all workers arrived early, worked tirelessly and kept me informed at every stage. I received WORLD CLASS customer service as promised and they succeeded in transforming my small drab second bath into a true contemporary jewel box. Additionally, they gave me a great deal for their exemplary work. Indeed they are the very best, I recommend them highly!!

Charged way too much and didn't even fix the problem

They were able to come out the same day to fix my clogged sink drain. They were very professional and I am very satisfied.

Cass plumbing replaced a hot water heater. The equipment they used was different from the initial quote. They never discussed this change with me. I also later found out (when I had a 4 point inspection done) that the cpvc coming out of the pressure relief valve was not to code as it ended more than 6 inches from the ground (it was a foot or so off of the ground). This could have caused someone to get scolded with hot water. Apparently their installers don't understand plumbing codes or just don't care. They also used shark bites on the plumbing to connect to copper. Apparently shark bites should only be used as a temporary solution as told by a licensed professional. I had to have both of these items remediated by another plumber.

I am a 70 year old, retired government worker, with atrial fibrillation. I called Cass Plumbing the week of 8/7/2023 to schedule a faulty tub overflow repair. after missed appointments, numerous call backs, and rescheduled visits, a plumber “Tony” finally showed up last Thursday, but stated he did not have a plumbing tool (???.) and a “part.” So, the repair was not done. After several more days of calls and rescheduled service appointments for 8/24/2023, the plumber stated he would be at my location to effect the fix. The plumber called again and said that he would be there today at Noon. Then at 12:30. No show. More calls. At 1:30PM…”I’m five minutes away.” No show. at 2:15PM: “My GPS says I’m 9 minutes away…” at 3:30PM, still no show. Finally, plumber arrives at 4:40PM. Another Plumber (“Tony”) said: “The needed part cost $375.00, but I will discount it $75.00. I checked with an online plumbing supplier and the entire plumbing assembly to repair the leak, including overflow valve, costs $22.99. I am thoroughly upset. I have wasted days with this very unreliable company that obviously isn’t concerned with their customers’ time and patience, and with questionable pricing practices.

I don't often write reviews but my experience was so upsetting I feel I should warn the unwary. First experience was great (Richard). Tried to follow up with him to do a few more things. Scheduled him specifically yesterday (week and a half wait but I wanted the same person, Richard, to do the work and they said that was his first availability). Was called yesterday saying he could come early and I let the receptionist guy know to call my husband since he may be home already and would be happy to see him earlier if that works better. Texted husband to let him know to expect the call, he was home and ready.

No call. No show even at the appointed time. 1.5hours after the appointment I'm off work so I call the receptionist again and he says, derr, still want someone to come out? and I say of course! Wasn't Richard scheduled at 2? Even if he didn't come early why didn't he come on time? He's been there before? Did someone call my husband? Didn't we just discuss this earlier??

Him: Uh, derrr, I can get someone out now. Me: Isn't it too late? Its almost 2 hours past the appointment time, is Richard even in the area? Him: Guhhh, I can send someone now. Me: Wait, who? Who are you sending? Him: ...Marcus? Me:No, nevermind. Good bye.

Straight up lied to me, I'd made it very clear who I was wanting to schedule and the run around and deceit is inexcusable. If something happened, an emergency, then play it straight and we can work with it. This was just him lieing and pawing me off because someone dropped the ball at some point or a good worker was moved around and I was left to deal with it.

Richard, if you read this, you should find a better company to work for. Seriously, you often end up cast in the same light as those you associate with and I would never call Cass Plumbing again.

These folks worked very hard to replace my water heater...which was about as complicated as it gets. Not only did they manage to make it happen at a better price than 3 other plumbers I called for quotes, but they did it under the worst of circumstances. To top it all off, I even forgot to turn the AC on; so they worked all day in 90 degree heat! (So sry guys...I didn't live there yet)

A month later, my friend was referred by me to Cass. After the job was complete, I was surprised with a $50 referral check!! Had no idea there was a referral program, but they sure did honor it! Thank you for the good work you do Cass! I figured a good review was the least I could do in return.

The did not fix the problem and charged as if they did. They then said they did a cameral inspection and wanted to charge an additional $250.
Another company resolved the issue quickly and without the need for cameral inspection. Do not use this company!

I wasted a week of my time on a 'free estimate' from Cass plumbing. After meeting with their plumber, they never provided the estimate, and never followed up with me. After I called them multiple times to inquire, I was promised an estimate, only to later be told they're not licensed in my area and can't do the work! They advertise they are available to work in my area (Pinellas, FL) and even provide a local phone number. I'm extremely disappointed with their lack of service.

Richard was great with my water heater installation. On time, friendly, fair in pricing and transparent with everything. He did not try to upsell me on anything. Highly recommend Cass Plumbing and Richard

Needed a plumber quickly and they fit us in. Maurice was very quick and cleared our drain. Will call again if we need them.
