Estimate beat other companies by 10-20%. Had all sewer pipes replaced, new toilet installation, new washer & dryer water & waste lines installed in a shed, new 40 gallon water heater installed to replace an older 15 gallon. Took the crew 3 days total. Olsi & Dj were very professional, respectful of the property, and very polite, also knew the trade very well. Our technician Edwin M. was very friendly and professional. During the initial estimate/ diagnose interaction he went out of his way to explain things, and show us what he believed the problem to be. They gave us what we believe to be fair pricing, so we agreed for the job to be completed. Afterwards, he started work after retrieving his equipment, and was very efficient and communicative. While you never want to hire a plumbing company, Apex is who we've relied on the last few times with our home. They are quick to respond and accommodate emergency calls, and not charge you ridiculous fees. Shout out to Josh, Mike, and Bobby who take the time to explain the issues, and explore alternative ways to fix it. I don't want to have to see them ever again, but if I need - Apex will be the only plumbing co. I call!!

Recently, I was forced to purchase a water heater. Instead of the old big tank, I chose to go with modern and went tankless!!! I've heard so much about these from tons of people- some good reviews and some bad. However I had to see for myself because endless hot water sounds great to me when sitting in the shower, sore from work. This item was recommended to me by the business Apex Plumbing out of Clearwater, and they quickly scheduled me in and installed our new tankless hot water heater while removing the old one for free. I will follow up with a review in a few months explaining how it turned out since switching to the new unit. Thanks for the great recommendation- WERE SO EXCITED!!!

Apex sent someone out to evaluate the problem immediately. What turned out to be a pretty substantial repair was done by the following day. They were the most affordable out of all the estimates I got and gave me the best explanation of the problem and their proposed solution. In particular, the team lead, Daniel, owned the situation and saw to it that our issue was fixed correctly and our home was well taken care of.

Asked why it was still leaking if they just sold me something that was suppose to fix it.. company was supposed to follow up and never communicated or got back in touch with me..

My refrigerator was leaking and they came out on a Saturday in a very brief time period. Jaylin did a great job on the repair and communication before he showed up.

We had an outside faucet bib break on Sunday evening. This was part of our main line to the house so we needed someone right away. We called several numbers for emergency repairs and Apex was the only one that called us back within 10 minutes and was at our house within 45 minutes. The owner came out and was able to repair the pipe and bib connection. He and his assistant were friendly, knowledgable and did a great job.I would highly recommend their services. We will definitely use Apex for future plumbing projects. Thanks so much!

The techs Kyle C. & Mark N., showed up on time… they were polite, professional and very informative on what was going on with my toilet. These guys are true pro’s! When we decided to go ahead and re-pipe the entire house , APEX was our choice. From the beginning, we were impressed with their professionalism. Bobby and Kyle C came over to go over and discuss the prospect. Bobby was very informative as to what would be involved and how they would the work. I was amazed how knowledgeable he was!
When they began the work, Kyle and Derrick were the first team. They were very courteous and clean and well mannered.
As the work continued, Kyle and Ed ( I understood Ed was new to the company)worked tirelessly for the last 3 days. I could not believe how hard they worked , especially, toward the very last day, they worked so hard continuously. They had open up some exterior walls which were all concrete masonry, in order to run the pipes in one of the bathrooms. It was extremely time consuming and heavy work for them. But they were so loyal to their job assignment. When they finally finished this hard work, it was after 7:00 P.M. Later I learned that they have skipped the lunch and kept going till they finished! I learned this after I passed the fixed dinner plates to go! After all pipes run through all the fixtures , the exterior walls were beautifully fixed up as if there was nothing ever happened, by a very skilled young man which I missed his name regretfully. I was promised this by Bob earlier. I learned that APEX do what they promised to do even it takes more times for them. Zack reinstalled the washer and dryer. The next day he and Mike came over to finish reinstall the dishwasher .It was obvious that Mike was a Master Plumber as well as Bobby! Each employee seems to have some special skills to work with, including that young man fixed the exterior walls! APEX is not the company to leave the project until all is absolutely completed.
I could never fully learned one of the ladies name who answer the phone. Alex and she were always so kind and patient each time I called. They were always available as well.. Thank you also to Joe, the owner, who assured me that the product was safe and and high quality.
WE are really enjoying the steady water flows in each area in the house. It also takes a lot shorter time than before to get the hot water running though to shower!

I had a sudden and frustrating plumbing issue when my tub stopped draining, leaving me with about 2 inches of standing water. The situation worsened as black gunk accumulated, making the situation messy and unpleasant. I needed to have a shower cartridge installed and mine was leaking a lot. So I talked with Joe from Apex and he gave me some options. Jimmy was great very knowledgeable and showed us every step of the work.
We had to completely redo our sewage cast iron pipes under the house. With modern technology they saved me thousands of dollars.
Mark the owner and Jimmy came up with a plan to minimize the impact on ower new floors we had installed6 monthsago. They had to cut 2 holes in our house to get to the pipes and made sure the cut was done properly so, I could replace the new tiles without wasting additional tiles.

Jimmy job carefully planned and finished the job great.

Apex was one of the only plumbers that could work on breaking up the concrete slab, make the repair, and put it all back together AND be there quickly. APEX is the best plumbing company around. Josh came out and fixed my issue quickly after another plumbing company couldn’t fix the issue after hours of looking around. Would highly recommend this company!

I will never choose to use APEX plumbing. Our condo contracted with them to replace all the aging water heaters in the building. Their original price was okay (ish) based on today's inflated rates. But then came the upcharges.
A water heater install is really simple and while you are changing out the tank and putting in the required drip pan changing the supply valve is a given.
But no! this company, having quoted for an entire 18 story building of water heater replacements, decided to upcharge $193 for the replacement of an $8 supply valve.
I don't know what they paid for each water heater but the equivalent from the big box store is $460 so at $1,229 per, they seem to be making about $350 per hour.
In addition they left water in the drip pan to ensure that the tank started rusting right away and did not adjust the thermostat to the setting of the working (but old) tank they removed. All-in-all a greedy company that does not know how to garner good faith.

Nate and Luke were extremely knowledgeable and professional from start to finish! Will definitely be using Apex Plumbing going forward for any future plumbing needs.

Wesley just finished my plumbing in both bathroom my tube and kitchen sink. This place has horrible everything Grace Village but now call the Oats on South Myrtle Ave in Clearwater and the manager Tim Higher up just decided to finally pay the plumbers to fix the plumbing issues. Anyways Wesley did an amazing job cleaned up after himself answered certain questions I had about what was going on but just say the major issues are deep under but the apartment manager higher up won’t approve of it but APEX is Great if they decide to do the major work that’s deep down lol thanks Wesley Again keep up the great work

We had water off to our house for several days because of a leak in a galvanized pipe and had multiple plumbers come and tell us that they would not repair galvanized pipe and would only do a full replacement. Not only was Apex Plumbing able to repair the pipe in just a few hours, but they also had better pricing for the full replacement, which we may end up getting eventually. Our technician was Josh and he was friendly, professional, and did great quality work to fix the broken pipe.

THANK GOD FOR APEX. Bobby W came to my home on an emergency & was a true lifesaver. My children & I moved into a small but newer home after my husband passed away. He was a contractor, so I figured, newer home, less problems. The home had a great bathroom. But we knew there were issues right away with it. Having a teenage daughter & younger son, our bathroom is always one of the most battled over rooms. The shower drain, sinks, & commode were just not functioning properly. Constantly. For months, I kept calling the original installers only to return every other week. My friend told me about Apex in Clearwater. Bobby W came to my home at the exact time I was told. Bobby listened to me & my frustrations & went to work immediately. Running the water, listening to the pipes, flushing the toilets, WITH PAPER IN IT! & repeated. (the other guys would just flush clean water down & say it was fine!) He ran the shower like a kid who just came off the field covered in dirt & would spend more than 30 secs rinsing off. It all made sense. Bobby W worked liked he actually cared about my kids. I don't know what he did. He was in and out the door to the truck with courtesy & professionalism. He worked like a surgeon with attention to the problem along with kindness to me. AND FIXED EVERYTHING!!!! he actually took the time & explained to me what was going on, causing the problem, how to prevent it from happening in the future. (again, teenagers & their friends) I cant stop my kids from having friends over and cheerleaders with long hair sleeping over. But simple little tips from Bobby to me & explaining it to us as a family was a blessing!!! USE APEX ONLY!!!!!

We did this in 2 parts, diagnostics first then repair later. The initial diagnostic team caused us to buy an whole new toilet due to the frequent removal of it and the wax ring was not sitting in properly, eventually it started leaking out and the spigot at the bottom of the toilet broke. The gent that came to do majority of the main repair to my main sewer line did it supar at the beginning but towards the end not so much (would not blame him if he was tired of sitting in his work van and waiting for his employer phone call and doing it majority of by himself). There is a big dip in my foundation where he re laid the concrete, which is not leveled with the original slab and was told by my wife that the concrete in the bathroom was equality half done and was told by him that he did not fill up to the original slab to leave space for new flooring and left my water on outside for at least 24hrs. The job got done, the issue is repair but the clean up was left to us.

Had a terrible situation within two days of moving into our new home. Had someone come out to take a look. Before even scoping the pipes they wanted money. After sitting outside figuring how I was going to handle this, Joe the owner happen to drive by. Within an hour I had my pipes scoped, a game plan in place and an estimate. Apex had my pipes repaired, a clean out line put in and my house and yard put back together right away. The entire time they kept in touch so we always knew what to expect. I couldn't be happier with their service and the care they took with my home. The crew were also extremely nice and respectful. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

I'm on the HOA board at a downtown condo building with 50-year-old plumbing. Our previous building plumber was not able to handle big jobs, e.g. hydroscrubbing stacks or digging up pipes and repairing concrete. Apex has been able to tackle everything we've thrown at them.

If it's a difficult job, usually one of the owners will discuss by phone and/or visit on-site. You can tell they have a lot of experience. They are able to quickly diagnose problems and provide estimates that are generally pretty accurate. They don't yack about nonsense to cover for not knowing what they're doing.

A shout out to Cody for recently handling a big job that required digging out a trap, rerouting an A/C condensation pipe and repairing concrete. I think he could do almost anything.

I've also used Apex for personal plumbing jobs such as installing a tankless water heater, replacing a toilet wax seal and replacing a sink/faucet/disposer and redoing the shut-off valves with angle stops.

I've had mixed results with some of the individual plumbers. This isn't surprising in an industry where turnover rate is likely to be high. Having said that, Apex has a lot of plumbers, and they're able to mobilize resources quickly, even on short notice.

The front office is efficient and polite. I can't remember everyone's names, but Barbara is great.

Attached photo shows under my kitchen sink where Cody replaced pretty much everything, including the stop valves. It's tidier now, and no longer leaking.

Joe and his crew are genuinely Good People! I could not have asked for a better, more professional experience. These guys really saved our butts. We called after we discovered water that appeared to either be seeping up through the floor behind our bathroom shower or was leaking through the baseboards. Imagined the worst. Sewer, drainage? Ripping up floors and taking down walls.
Mark and Bradley came by and after trying to figure out what was leaking they got creative. They even decided not to call in leak detection and hung around extra to try and crack the case on their own. After a bit and a few different tests, Bradley thought to point the shower faucet to spray over on the shower wall where a soap dish was mounted. Sure enough, after a minute or so, loads of water began spilling into the next room through the baseboards! Our grand mystery was solved by some caulking around a soap dish! Never felt so happy to feel a fool.
They gave us a discount on service and were kind and helpful the whole way.

Last year Apex Plumbing replaced all our old cast iron pipes that were causing major plumbing issues in our building and they did that with limited space to work. Today, we had an issue with water backing up into our toilets and we called them. Jaylin came out and checked out the pipes and verified there were no issues. He was on time and very professional and courteous. On top of that, there was no charge as the work is still under warranty. Our kitchen sink got plugged up. I got as far as removing the U pipe under the sink, but it was clear, so I knew the plug had to be further in the drain pipe. I called Apex, based upon its Google review and was not disappointed. Their plumber Nate came and was very professional and polite. Eventually he ended up on the roof going down through the breather pipe to clear the drain. While not cheap, the price was not exhorbitant for the amount of time he spent. Earlier in May, I had a leak in one of my main pipes inside my house. It was spraying water everywhere completely soaking my furniture and carpet. A good friend of mine had previously told me about this company, Apex Plumbing because they had a leak too and the business was quick to fix it. I gave the business a call, and they sent this polite young gentleman named Wesley Allen who kindly introduced himself to me, and assured me the issue would be solved. He had it fixed very quickly and very efficiently, walking through me the steps of what he was doing. After he had finished the job, he even offered me some ways on how to dry my furniture out. 10/10!!

As a Construction Manager for residential and commercial build-backs, I've been working with Apex plumbing for nearly 2 years. Consistently, their work has been on-time and done right. This plumbing company is top notch. Jaylin, the lead plumber, has been in constant contact with me via text. The office is very efficient when it comes to permitting. It is a big job, and they have impressively covered nearly all the furniture in our short term rental with protective plastic tarp.

I live in a building that is over 100 years old and we have plumbers coming over on the regular. There have been some who are down right surly and openly tell me how much they hate coming here because the pipes are so old. That was not the case with apex plumbing today!

The techs Ken and Colby and the manager Robert were fantastic! Very kind and unclogged our pipes in a very short time! There was a mixup with pricing for the after hours fee but they honored the original pricing without a hassle. If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would!

Apex Plumbing helped us resolve a pipe leak issue that originated in our yard due to tree roots. We were without water for 2 days. They made us a priority and got us on the schedule to start work the next day. They even had a crew out on a Saturday to get the job done. All staff, including the owner, are very kind and down to Earth people. I had a fantastic experience with this company, I highly recommend them.

Long & short: Selling my house, inspector said: you have PB plumbing running through your house, un insurable! You have to repipe your entire house! Was referred to APEX by my agent. Joe from Apex comes out an hour later. Gives me estimate. Got 5 estimates, he beat them by 18-20%! Pulled permit next day started following day. All finished, very nice crew out there even worked Saturday & Sunday to finish up. Inspected Monday all set. Thank you APEX!

I edited My previous Rating but I think it may have stayed on here for some reason so i'm writing another five star review. After my toilet was not fixed they came back out and Found a toothbrush Stuck in a toilet and didn't charge me any extra to get it out. The service Technician was great I made sure if I had any other issues To call him directly. I was so relieved I didn't have to pay more And I wasn't charged for coming back out or for having to use the camera for the service to find the actual issue. I would definitely use the service again.

Be aware of this company they tried to charge me 2100 dollars to install a 40 gal water heater. They originally told me it would be 1700. I went to another company and charged me 1100 to install what a rip off. The owner joe is to pushy.

I had an issue with a leak from a galvanized water line inside my wall, and a cast iron drain pipe in my wall also was corroded beyond repair. Apex sent Bradley out to take a look. He was able to quickly diagnose my water line leak. And while he was making the repair inside the wall, he found the bad drain line and brought it to my attention. He gave me a very fair price to repair both issues, and made quick work of repairing them.I will continue to use Apex Plumbing for any future issues I may have ( hopefully I don't have any), and appreciate the work ethic and honesty of Apex plumbing and the way they train their technicians!!!!

We had an issue with water leaking from our bath tub. They had Zack promptly out to our house to work on it. He was very professional, showed and explained the problem and was able to fix it while he was here. I know it was not an easy job, and he handled it with kindness and patience. Apex plumbing was amazing. I had a very bad experience with the last plumber I called when after the guy gave me a quote he went outside to his truck and overdosed on fentanyl and almost died on my front lawn. So needless to say i wasn't going to trust that company again to fix anything in my house. So at the advice of a friend of mine I called Apex. They sent Joshua L to my house to fix my leaky pipes. He did a wonderful job. He was there EXACTLY when he said he would be. Very straightforward on pricing and completed the job in a timely manner. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again. As an added bonus Josh was very personable and hilarious. He had me laughing the whole time he was working. Honestly next time I call I hope he is the one they send.

Our park hired Apex to replace or water and sewer lines behind our homes. My shutoff valve was improperly connected to the new lines. Nate came to check it and spent a great deal of time under my home repairing and getting me hooked up. He was very polite, professional and kept me informed as to the progress.

Kim and Bobby had the knowledge to put the clean-out in the correct location. Kim and Paul did the work and Kim was especially concerned about the correct cutting and placement of the clean-out. The best review I could give them is I will use them again.

Apex found a leak coming from my water heater. After discussing my options, I went with a hybrid water heater as a replacement. It is amazing! The Apex team was amazing! My whole experience was incredible from start to finish.

During the reconstruction work resulted from the leak, had a few things done by Apex. Recent job to install tub, by Josh, was done outstanding. He was extremely professional, attentive to details and diligent. We had a little challenge with other technician when resetting water heater, but Joe, the owner, personally reached out to me and took extra steps, including sending the supervisor to ensure that the work is completed right and to their best standards.
