Showed up as promised. Located water leak in 35 minutes and saved me $112. This gentleman's minimum fee is $138 (for one hour of labor) while other leak locator companies in the area seem to have fixed the fee at $250 minimum. Besides the ones that want to come out and give an estimate, which smells of fraud and waste of time. Nice and professional man - strongly recommended.

Gary was available the day after I called him to assess a tricky leak situation.
Whilet cause of our leak is not straightforward, he did give very clear directions and suggestions as to how to move forward. Helpful and friendly.

After 2 visits to my property & $275 later, I was left with a drawing of a tree and a big X' in front of it as the possible site of a leak. No digging to verify that was indeed the spot & no markings on the ground for a plumber to work from. And guess what? That wasn't even the spot. The leak was finally found (by someone else) and under the driveway, about 50 feet away. How's that for accuracy? Even the name about this company is misleading. Their minimum charge is $138. Don't waste your money

Gary is a super guy! He keeps his appointments on time and calls before coming. He is clean and presentable. He stays on the job until he finds the leak. His rates are very reasonable. He's very personable.

Thanks to a neighbors recommendation I called 89 Leak Detection for various issues and they came out next day at the beginning of the window estimated the previous day.

this company is Great, I couldn’t believe how fast and prompt they were during such a horrible time for my family and I, We woke up on a Sunday morning and were getting the kids ready for church when I walked in to the laundry room my floors were soaked!!! I called around only to be let down 5 times, finally to find 89 leak detection “wish they were my first call” . I think the office personnel’s name was Sean and he was very polite and knowledgeable. He walked me through the proper steps to turn my water off to my home, he had Gary come out and the leak was located within 30min of his time!!! Between the office and the technicians everyone I dealt with were very professional and great at what they do!! Not to mention only $89.00

I tried identify the leak DIY, but ended up looking for professional help. I googled for pinellas water leak detection and 89$ leak detection was listed among other businesses.
Clear price expectations and list of invasive detection services were the reasons we considered this business.
Gary answered the call and scheduled the visit next day. He called 30 min before his arrival and was on time.
He patiently got into details of the problems and checks performed by me, then checked the system and after a few checks quickly narrowed it down to the faulty water softener.

Called Gary and he was able to come out the next morning. He found the exact location of the leak underneath the concrete slab in my hallway. Locating the leak was difficult and the construction noise on the street made it even more challenging.

I called about 10 different leak detection companies this past Saturday and all we’re quoting $350 and wouldn’t be available for about 3-5 days out. Gary’s services are much more affordable and was available the next morning. We noticed water coming up above our floors a week before and Gary was able to locate exactly where it was coming from when we couldn’t. We broke open the wall while he was there and a pipe behind the kitchen was broken. Gary is also super nice and called us 30 minutes before he came. Highly recommend.

10/10, highly recommend! We've been given the run around from different companies about what's been causing our leak for weeks/months. They came out quickly, worked fast and had our mystery leak solved within an hour. Gary went out of his way to educate us about how to fix issues that may cause future problems. He also took his shoes off to come inside since he had been walking in the dirt which was very thoughtful. Wonderful service all around!

I highly recommend 89$ Leak Detection. I called late Monday evening and was expecting to have to leave a message. To my surprise, Gary answered the phone when I called so I didn't have to leave a message or wait for a call back. A Hugh plus to start with. He came out the next night and was able to find where my leak was coming from in less than an hour. It ended up being an AC pipe issue. I called my AC company while Gary was still at my house and he even took the time to talk to the AC guy to explain what he found and discussed the best solution to fix the problem. Very Highly recommend this company , very professional and trustable ! Had a water leak in my home and they were able too find the issue and take care of properly.Very informative about the issues , friendly and kept me informed about the steps taken to detect the leak. He made sure my pets were in safe area before turning on jack hammer 🐱🐱 !! He was even nice enough to tell us if there is a 2nd leak another service charge would not be necessary he will just come back and continue !! How great of a company too Do that :) If you have a leak dont hesitate to call , Im sure happy they came to help us out !
