Ted & Bros Plumbing

After discovering that the kitchen sink drain was leaking into the crawl space under the house, was referred to Tom & Bros. Plumbing. An appointment was scheduled for the following day at 11AM and before that time Ezekiel sent a message saying he’d been held up at his morning job and could he come at 2PM. Confirmed the new time was ok and he showed up promptly at 2, apologising for the delay. After assessing the situation Ezekiel informed me of the problem, the work and time required and a cost estimate. Although he said the job might take two days, he later checked if he could work late and finished the job at 7:30! My interactions with Ted & Bros. Plumbing through out were courteous and professional and Ezekiel was meticulous in cleaning up the job area when he finished. Will definitely be using Ten & Bros. for future plumbing needs.

The plumber arrived 3 hrs past his arrival window. I scheduled the job a week in advance and told them all the work that needed to be done. When the plumber arrived late, he said it would take too long for him to finish as it would take 3-4 hrs, so he wasn’t going to do it that day.

I took a day off of work and this was the service I received. The plumber didn’t even care that he was late and looked relieved to get off for the rest of the day. The contact I had with the owner/office never once stated there wouldn’t be enough time. To have someone come to your house during covid for absolutely no reason was so unnecessary.

Ted and Bros bid for my sewer repiping was lowest and most responsive. They scheduled me immediately, showed up on time and completed as promised. Five stars!

backed up toilet. Got listing from newspaper stating drain cleared $69. FALSE!! $150 later, I could have got someone in HB to do it for that. Service tech was nice, here about 15 minutes. Was told between 1-3pm, arrived 3:25pm.

Could not be happier with Ted and crew. I had a leak under the kitchen sink below the floor; Ted diagnosed the cracked pipe and what it would take to fix it. His awesome crew crawled under the raised foundation and worked so hard to replaced the 70 old damaged pipe and did it in only a few hours. I will definitely be using Ted and Bros in future projects. Ted and Bros were great. They replaced our old water heater quickly and efficiently. Furthermore, we had an unusual problem with out hot water pipes. We had experienced this for quite some time, but for some reason, we were living with more or less luke warm water for years. The Ted and Bros plumbers discovered there was a switch in the cold/hot water in our attic! Nice to have hot water…. So grateful for these guys (Ezekiel & co)

Fabian was outstanding at his profession, this was a tricky leak to locate (we woke up to a squishy wooden floor in the kitchen), but he worked non-stop using all of his skills and eventually located and repaired the leak. The gentleman over the phone was very upfront about everything & did warn me of possible things going on. Upon arrival I was very surprised to see a woman plumber. She was extremely knowledgeable and not once try to charge me for services I didn’t need. She got to the “root” (no pun intended) of the problem quite fast. Workmanship was honest & fast. The aftermath was very clean. Best part I wasn’t hit with “hidden fees” The entire team takes pride on what they do. Not once did I feel jibbed.

I need to replace the existing water pressure regulator and build a 3-way bypass valve for the existing water softener. Ted came on time to give the estimate for the job. The price is reasonable for what need to be done. The following week Ezekiel came on time to do the job. He is a very professional and attention to the detail when soldering, installing the pipe to the bracket and build the bypass valve.
Removing the old water pressure is very difficult but he takes the time to do it right. Overall the job quality is excellent and I will use them again for other plumbing job.

A pipe broke behind the wall in the kitchen. It flooded our house.I called Ted and bros plumbing. From the first time I spoke to Rachel on the phone they took care of everything.I was able to take a short video of the problem and they gave me a quote right over the phone.We we’re able to schedule an appointment for the next day, 2 plumbers came out to fix our piping. They were on time and very professional, they explained exactly what needed to be repaired and left the kitchen floor cleaner then it was before they came.The cost was exactly what the estimate was. We called Ted and Brothers plumbing to repair a slab leak at our Huntington Beach 3 unit property on 7/7/23...after breaking through our stucco and almost damaging our pipe in the process, Isaac says he could not complete the service then shamelessly charges us $1000 anyways for the unfinished service....terrible service would never use these guys again!!!!

The company is professional and does good work. I have used them for a complete home re-pipe, as well as a major sewer repair. They did good work cleaned up after themselves, we’re on time, and the rates were reasonable for the work performed. I have also used them for annual maintenance on my tankless water heater. They are proactive and let me know when filters need changed and other maintenance needs to be performed.

We are very grateful for Ezekiel and his team, who just knocked themselves out completing an extensive plumbing (sewer line, kitchen branch, reconfiguration of a clean out, cleaning and lining, etc.) job on our home. The workers were personable as well as articulate. The estimate was considerably less than competitors, but the quality of the work is topnotch. As expected, there was one surprise issue that I'm profoundly grateful Ezekiel found and corrected: roots had so invaded one line that it had uncoupled and was leaking into the ground. All in all, we cannot too highly recommend your services. Integrity, clarity, workmanship, value -- you can't ask for more. May God bless you all.

They've detected several water leaks, repiped our entire house, installed new fixtures, installed water softening system and new water heater, replaced the gas line for pool heater and unclogged a drain. Ted originally came out and gave me a written estimate for the job with good details in November of 2020. He is very competent and got to work quickly when the job started. Ted is very polite and professional and I would recommend his services. The tankless water heater he installed works great and the water softener is wonderful. Our water pressure in our shower is great now. I knew Ted's crew was only going to do plumbing and I would have to repair the holes in the wall, but Ted did hire a very good drywall installer to fix a hole in the ceiling that was made by accident which I appreciated. Overall, I am very pleased with how the job turned out!

I recently had a clogged toilet that I was unable to unclog on my own. I contacted this plumbing service to assist me, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. They provided me with a window between 9 am and 11 am and arrived promptly at 9:50. The pricing was upfront and honest. I had to leave at 10:30 for another appointment I had forgotten about, and felt comfortable leaving the plumber unattended in my home. He was able to bill me over text while I was out, which was great! I used Apple Pay.

I wanted my stackable washer/dryer moved three feet over to allow more room in the laundry room. That meant removing a good portion of the wall and re-routing the hot/cold water lines in addition to the drain pipe.

I've used Ted & Bros Plumbing before. This time my kitchen double sink clogged up. I initially had called another plumber (complicated reason why) and was told that I needed to replace all the plumbing pipes under the sink and in the wall. Which meant tearing a hole in the drywall on the inside and a hole in the stucco on the outside. And getting a new garbage disposal. The quote was $3,500. I definitely wanted a second opinion so I called Ted & Bros Plumbing. Ezekiel Bustos came out and within 3 minutes, he had removed the clog and both sides of the sink drained fully. OMG!!! Magic. :) And it only cost me $155. What a relief. Thank you Ezekiel.

Fabian and his assistant came at the appointed time and immediately assessed the leak in the ceiling. He was responsive to my concerns and informed me of the damage. It was good working with both of them. I will contact them again for another plumbing project.

They finished the job on Monday- it's Wednesday and there's a leak in the utility sink in the garage. The insulation and drywall are getting soaked and soggy. We called Ted & Bros and they aren't available until Friday.

It's now 2:30am Thursday- a 5x2 section of the wall is soaked with water from a leak. We have now shut off the water to our entire interior of the house.

Their team did such a great job!! :D They were organized, courteous and really knew their stuff. We had 60 yr old drains that weren't working properly, and so we called around to about a dozen different plumbers & plumbing co's. They seemed to be one of the most knowledgeable, responsive and timely co.'s- especially to be able to do such a big job. It took a week. I had peace mind knowing that re-piping was their specialty, and that they had tons of experience in an entire house re-pipe. Would recommend them to anyone for their quality of work, pricing & staff! Thanks again! :)

Zeek showed up clean biggest smile on his face and friendly, I asked him to take a bigger toilet about a 15' toilet that was being replaced downstairs by a ADA 21 toilet, and install it upstairs to replace a 10 kiddies size toilet that had been there for years, it took him less then a half-hour and he had the two toilets swap out, and the 10put in the back of his truck then came in and a few minutes later the 21 toilet was installed and he had his mess cleaned up and both toilet up and ready to use all done in hours time, I have more plumbing issues that need to be done I am going to make him my regular and permanent plumber, and the company stayed in touch with me all day keeping me up-to-date on time line, they might of been running a little late but they squeeze me in from day before, and as for there price found them a lot lower then the much bigger named company and on top they give senior discounts, I fully will recommend, I don't normally leave reviews, an have used several different companies over the years scene my beloved husband was killed 9 yrs ago by a Simi truck, please don't even think twice about Ted & Bros plumbing I give them 10 stars if I could CALL THEM YOU WON'T REGRET ask them to send you zeek, goodluck and injoy the experience.

Called for bathroom sink clog for the tenant, Albert quoted $135, but when mentioned the yelp $85 ad, he said he will do it for $89. When the job was done, I got an invoice for $135. Nobody even called to inform of the price increase. Job was done good but disappointed on the pricing surprise.

They fixed my toilet problem, however they are extremely expensive. $250 for one hour of labor plus $85 for a flapper valve that you can get at Amazon for $9.00

These guys are absolutely amazing! Needed a main gas line changed in a hurry and they were able to do it the same day! With that I asked for a quote to repipe my home with pex and they were so much better priced than other companies I had gotten quotes from.. they finished my entire house in 4 days! Ted was prompt on the appointment for the estimate on replacing a 40 foot segment of my kitchen to my main line. I schedule the work to be done within a few days. Favian and assistant arrived early in the day and were considerate to our needs. He let us know that the bathrooms and other drains would not be in service. They completed the work as promised and cleaned up the area. I was very satisfied with the work, communication and the price. Second time I use Ted & Bros Pluming. My water heater was not working, Ezekiel inspected the heater, tried to turn pilot on without success, next he tested the gas source. No gas was detected, at this time I realized I did not have gas in the entire house. Ezekiel noticed the house has a earthquake gas shutoff valve that had been tripped the previous day with work being performed on a nearby fence. They were punctual and professional. I will definitely use them with all my future plumbing needs.

About to start remodel on Jan 4 when shower keys broke

Replaced main water line to the house. Huge job, and, even though much more extensive than the original quoted price called for, they did not charge more. They had to trench a large area which involved a garden. They actually replanted the garden and cleaned the entry, walkway, yard, and driveway; left everything spic and span. I can't say enough about Ted & Bros Plumbing. I highly recommend them. If you want honest and hard working plumbers who know their stuff, they are the ones you should call. It's hard to believe there are still people of such high character still around.

The gentleman did an excellent job very clean very thorough would highly recommend him.

Fabian & (sorry forgot his name) were great. They both were efficient and friendly. This is the second time that I've used Ted & Bros and wouldn't use anybody else.

The back bath/utility room sewer line has clogged many times in the past 46 years we have owned our home. This time Can't Do Plumber refused to snake the drain under the house. Then Predator Plumber wanted to double the phone quote...then call in a remediation team (to handle our radioactive sewer pipe waste???) and finally replace all of my cast iron pipes. Finally our friend Dave Araujo told us to call Rachel at Ted & Bros. Ezekiel Bustos showed up early the next morning ready to go. He cleared the pipe all the way to the street in no time and our cost was very reasonable. Great job Zeke!

Beyond amazing@ I heard a gushing sound in my bathroom wall and had warm floor tiles and new it was a slab leak. My landlord put me in touch with Rachel immediately and Ted was here the next morning. He quickly found the leak, opened a wall in our closet, re-routed and installed a brand new pipe rather than going through the floor. Ted and his assistant were friendly, worked so hard all day, and wore masks the entire time. I feel 100% confident in the job they did. Couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you!!

TED and Brothers did an amazing job bursting our main sewer and installed new line. They also rebuilt all of our plumbing connecting to our sewer. They did what they said and showed up everyday on time. They were covered all surfaces not to damage or get dirty. I received 3 bids for this job. Ted gave us a detailed estimate on time. I recommend Ted Brothers to do your job with no hesitation.

The guys were very professional, they worked efficiently and cleaned up when done that you couldn’t tell they had been working here for the last 4 hours.

Ted & Bros Plumbing is now our go to plumber. Since our house was built in 1924, over the last 30 plus years, we've dealt with a lot of contractors. Typically, we have to call five (5) or more, just to be able to get three (3) valid quotes, in order to hire one (1).

Rachel, who is actually Ted's sister and business partner, runs the office, is in charge of the customer experience and is also a plumber herself. No wonder she was able to understand and quickly answer both our technical and administrative questions. Unlike other contractors, the Certificates Of Insurance we requested were promptly emailed to us and hadn't already expired. Rachel was great about following up, without ever giving us the hard sell treatment.

After gaining years of experience as a master plumber, about 12 years ago, Ted founded the company. Today, he and Rachel personally oversee and coordinate several trucks/crews. One (1) of which is specifically equipped for installing trenchless sewer liners. Due to tree roots repeatedly getting into the joints of our old clay sewer pipes, this is what we hired them to do. And, we're so glad we chose them. Not only was the work professionally performed but they didn't destroy our plants or damage our sprinklers. Plus, they cleaned up so well that you would never know someone dug a four (4) feet deep hole right in the middle of one (1) of our planter boxes.

The motto of Ted & Bros Plumbing is We Honestly Plumb. And, we believe it. When we originally called them, we provided the maximum length of the sewer line that we were quoted by another plumber. About half way through the job, without us even bringing it up, they informed us that our actual cost would be $1,000 less, due to the length of the liner being several feet shorter than what we told them.

Bottom Line - Ted & Bros Plumbing is licensed, qualified, experienced, competent, reliable, friendly, polite, competitively priced and honest. We've already recommended them to two (2) of our neighbors.
