I have done business with Mike W. several times. He is exceptionally thorough and really a pleasure to work with. I enjoy talking with him as he is a very good conversationalist. Plumbing repair service is not the most pleasant task ( about the same as going to the dentist) Mike takes much of the stress out of a problem, and makes it enjoyable.

Joe Maciel and Bo were fantastic! Extremely professional, listened to my concerns and addressed the issues I had in a timely manner. On top of being knowledgeable, they patiently answered my questions and didn’t have the annoyance of highly pushy sales people. They were honest and trustworthy in my opinion.

Mikey diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly. I appreciate that he made sure to shut the front door so my cats don’t get out, letting my neighbors know the water will be off and not tracking in dirt to my home.

Diego B. is an amazing and professional plumber. He solved our problem by spending a whole hour bending down in front of the sink. It’s not an easy job because the grease and junk totally blocked the pipe. Thank you so much for your hard work.

I had an issue with my Bathroom Sink Fixture removal and Shut Off Valves under the sink. I was having my Bathroom Sink and Shower/Tub enclosure reglazed the next day. Icalled, you were able to get Dennis out that afternoon to take care of my issue after the person I originally had canceled.Dennis came in, looked at what needed to be done, gave an estimated quote, I agreed and he went right to it. I’ve never left a negative review before but I’ve also never dealt with such corrupt business. Scott the owner and his assistant Carlos Martinez are con men, they rip off hard working Americans, they target elderly people who have no family to help make business decisions. They offer a $49.99 drain special just to get in the door, then they use scare tactics to unsuspecting customers who just want their plumbing issue fixed. What they do is hire a sub contractor to do the work for reduced price then charge the customer 3x that amount! They have been getting away with this for too long. They should both be ashamed of themselves.

The project was simple with the addition of a ball shut off valve being added to an incoming water line. Access was easy and no digging or trenching required.The response to my request was quick with a plumber here the next day. Ulises the plumber was professional, explained his work well, performed the job flawlessly and quickly. I was most impressed with him and his work. I had called Scott English Plumbing because I had an issue with my shower. I called to schedule someone to come out, and to my surprise they had someone already on the way over within the hour! Bobby was the technician who arrived, and he was well spoken, kind, and most of all happy. I felt like I was at Nordstrom with the awesome personable service and the friendly banter Bobby was giving me while he was looking into my issues.He quickly diagnosed the issue and my problems were fixed with lightning speed. Just wanted to give a big thank you to Jimi for his excellent service and his professional but also personable demeanor.Our garage was a flooded muddy mess do to our neighboring condo’s water line not holding together ” properly “ Jimi made a not so fun Saturday night not so bad.Still have a few days work ahead to get the plumbing straight and mud cleaned up but really appreciate his knowledge in getting what needed to be done tonight accomplished in a timely manner. Scott does most of the plumbing for our 248 unit condominium community and provides 5 star service. One of their plumbers, Tayler, was particularly helpful today, structuring her work to accommodate another vendor who needed water to mix concrete. Residents uniformly give Scott high praise. My dad has used Scott English plumbing at his house so I knew I would be in good hands when I had to call them. They had a lot of work to do at my house and they did very thorough work, were respectful of my home, always showed up on time and answered my many questions. Brett Forguson came out to help me during my Saturday night emergency where water was coming up through the floors. He did the repair a couple days later and if I ever know someone going through would I went through, I’d recommend Brett. Jason also helped with the repair and he did great work as well. My condo in HB has plumbing design of stck configuration where I inherit all the sediments from 3 units above me before they flush to main line. The shower affected was the second suite that had not been occupied in 3 years when I decided to clean it up and to remodel it.Josh unclogged the pipe 4ft down from the drain in 3 minutes. His work is clean. His demeanor and politeness were perfect.

We were very impressed with Nick Davis. He called us prior to coming giving us a 30 - 40 minute time frame before his arrival. Upon his arrival he was professional and quick to get to the problem at hand. We had a plugged bathroom sink drain as well as a plugged bathtub drain. Our tech Alberto and his helper (I’m sorry I didn’t catch his name) did a great job. I absolutely give them 5 stars. They determined the issue and we’re able to repair it same day once the property owner approved it. The reason I’m not able 5 stars for the company has nothing to do with the service they provided. It has everything to do with another employee which called Alberto while he was in our home. He was calling regarding our repair job. Maybe he didn’t know that I was able to hear him but that’s not really an excuse. After noting black wood in the ceiling and what appeared to be mold I requested a mold inspection from our property management. During this phone call the employee on the other end of the line was making comments about him “not seeing mold but whatever” and joking that Alberto was going to have to stay at our house all night (referring to the fact they had been here most of the day). In an already stressful day I do not appreciate him seemingly making a joke of our situation. I would recommend that in the future maybe leave the “shop talk” for the office as it turns out the inspector did find mold and I wasn’t wrong.

As always, Jimi was courteous, knowledgeable and personable. He quickly ruled out the worst case leak scenario using an advanced instrument that most home owners don't access to, and provided a free estimate for optional work. As long as he stays on the job, I will not trust my plumbing issues to anyone else.

Dealing with Scott English Plumbing was good. We had a emergency on the weekend snd they sent out Hugo. He was just ok. He came out for our backed up mainline drain. He seemed a little cocky. We didn’t really appreciate his service as a technician and did not clear the line. He gave us an estimate of over $5000 to dig out the line. I would not use Scott english plumbing again.

This time our pressure regulator on street main broke and the plumbing system started getting 150psi pressure. Called the dispatcher, the crew arrived in several hours. Mike Whelan and his partner Jose did a great job in identifying and confirming the issue, replacing the regulator, then verifying everything was working correctly. They adjusted the pressure in my system to within proper range. Thanks again!

However my most recent call to with Sean last name escapes me has me looking for another Plumbing Company.From what I was told he was dispatcher but so not helpful and frustrating to speak with.

I have always been impressed by the quality of work delivered by Scott English. Luke Cadogan was not only professional and efficient but also very pleasant. He listened to our concerns and answered our questions. He found a pinhole leak inside of a wall and fixed it, all in little over two hours. We are very happy with the service provided by Scott English and Luke Cadogan, and we recommend them for any plumbing problem.

I wanted to comment on the exceptional quality of care and professionalism I received from this young man yesterday. I had a last minute plumbing issue in the middle of thw day. I had to get my dog to doggie day care and get to work nearly 35 to 40 miles away yesterday. Art came in and and and assured me things would be taken care of. Very communicative in everything he said he would do. The pipe I had was old and he still managed to do everything he could to ensure his work is fully complete before leaving. What was probably supposed to be a 3 hour work became 8 hours with the old pipes, and he stood by and finished it until the end with zero breaks. What a trooper. This is the second time I hire Scott English Plumbing, they did an amazing job again. Tim was who visited us this time and he gave me valuable insight on my tankless gas water heater, and took care of installing a pipe on the escape valve to ensure no water will be dropped in my garage in case the pressure ever gets too high - for a little background, I got the house 2 weeks ago and discovered that the previous owners never fixed a few issues nor serviced the heater. I'm sure to hire them again next year when it's time for servicing it again.

Our repair was needed in the bathroom as our sink had a leaking pipe. However, we didn't know how bad it was until Evan arrived with his partner. They gave us quotes about the assessment, demolition, repair, and patching. The material for the repair was discussed, and a walk through of where those pieces would go was given. Once the demolition began, the actual damage was a lot more severe than anticipated. Three different sources of the leak were found. Luckily, we had caught the leak before any real damage was done to the interior of the wall. From start to finish, every step was explained and walked through. I appreciate the care that was taken in replacing parts and repairing. I am thankful that they had taken the time to explain the problem and different options for continuing further with not only me but with my brother and my mother as well. Overall, I am satisfied with the company!

The next day Had to call them back to adjust the toilet tank water flapper, Koehler Rialto toilet. Employees were very courteous but the overall repair cost was pricey. The replaced a defective shutoff valve behind refrigerator, installed an air gap between dishwasher and sink, installed a new toilet tank fill valve and flapper and adjusted a second toilet, over $500 in cost. Work time 1.5 hrs.

Although I did not end up having service done, Luke was very professional in verifying why the work could not be done. He explained very thoroughly & went above & beyond, to obtain the correct info.

This is the most disorganized company I've ever worked with. I had an appointment on Jan 10, 2020 to fix an issue with a hydronic heating system. The technician never showed, after calling I learned my association had mistakenly cancelled the work order. Scott English never contacted me to tell me, just decided to not show. Rescheduled the appointment, the technicians shows up (30 mins late) then informs me they will not be able to fix it that day and will need to return because there is a valve missing. Scheduled another appointment to have someone back out with the appropriate tools to fix on Jan 20. AGAIN the technician doesn't show, I call to learn they cancelled the job because they were not able to gain approval from my association to shut off the water. Scott English regularly services my community, and I'm in absolute awe how water shut off was never mentioned in the previous TWO APPOINTMENTS. Do yourself a favor and find a competent plumber capable of using a cell phone.

We dealt with two different contractors prior to this one. We had a horrible and unprofessional service from those two. One did not want to put on the boot covers when entering to the house nor considered of bringing one. We told him the issue, he used the stopper and solved the issue no more than 10mins. The issue was not resolved and he refused to used snake to clean the pipe and asked us to pay more to modified the pipe if we want it to be fixed. The other contractor didn’t refused to wear boot covers but not happy to put it on as we personally felt he was force to. Spent no more than 5 mins of listening to our story and concluded we need a clean out with extra charge of $775. He didn’t even mentioned anything about snaking. But with Michael from Scott English company, its a whole different story. He brought his own boot cover and wore before entered into the house. He listened to our situation attentively and asked further questions to understand more. After showing him around, he gave us the price with snaking and hands-on the job immediately. We thought were just quoting first then rescheduled to come back to work on it. With this result, it tells us how considerate person he is and put our situation as priority. We were surprised how he could possibly snake it when other two contractors already said they can’t. We told him that based on those previous contractor said there was no access so they couldn’t snake it. He looked puzzled and asked us how come they can’t have access. While he asked, he made it happen. Then come to realize, because the snake machine is too heavy and our kitchen is upstairs, most likely those two contractors were just too lazy and didn’t want to do the job. Not only he performed snaking with no hesitation, he spent hours to solve the issue of leaking, and we didn’t feel he was in rush because it was getting quite late. We truly appreciate his consideration just the way he explains things, carried that heavy tool up to the stairs, make no loud noise because he was very cautious with the neighbor and had his own boot cover consistently the entire time. We are very please and satisfied with his work and would definitely refer Scott English to friends and families, and especially refer Michael.

Elliott Borboa investigated and installed new hardware to correct the interruption of water service to my refrigerator. Elliott was professional, competent, respectful of my property, and up front about service charges. Scott English Plumbing will continue to be my first choice when I am in need of plumbing services.

This past visit was the second time the Alex has been to my house. Initially when he came a few weeks ago was to fix patio drains which had been clogged off and on for years. He and his crew were respectful, cleaned up really well when they were finished, and did an exceptional job! Great communication! For the job that he came to do last week, he had to replace a toilet which had been fixed incorrectly… All in all the job was done quickly, neatly, his service is phenomenal and I am incredibly impressed with his work ethic and how personable he is.!

William from Scott English Plumbing was the best. I had the Gas Company come out to light my pilot light and they told me the fireplace was clogged or the pilot was broken and that I should call a fireplace specialist. I called a fireplace specialist and they told me that my gas line did not have any gas and that I should call a plummer to check the line. This is where William comes in. Having no gas for about 3 months, he comes in and asks what the issue. I tell him and he says he'll be right back, he steps outside and like a minute later asks for a light to light the pilot light. BAM! it turns on. Turns out the gas for my side of the building has been turned off and he just flicked the switch to turn it on. Genius and he knows the right questions to ask. Mike from Scott English Plumbing was excellent. The company was very responsive and they showed up on time, did the work (sewer clean out) efficiently and the charges were very competitive and reasonable. I would definitely use them again for any plumbing jobs.

3rd time we have used Scott English and Diego rushed right over everytime. We respond well to companies that pick up the phone, and do what they say they will. Diego is always on time, always professional, fast working and never leaves a mess. We are loyal clients for sure.

Overall a generally good experience. Once I explained my problems, they had somebody out the next day to give an estimate and start with repairs. We had several unforeseen issues, but the technician was able to fix everything that was unexpected. After the initial indoor repairs, We had a second technician out to fix a leaking gas line in our yard. He was very professional, prompt, and efficient. he was able to detect the source of the leak and had it repaired within 2 days. Since this happened right before Christmas, he worked hard to finish the project on time for our holiday party.Their technicians, Johnathon, Arthur and Chris, all did great work.

While a 3 hour timeframe was given, the plumbing technicians arrived in about an hour. Ulises Cardenas and his apprentice, Moris, provided excellent service. As a homeowner who prefers to learn the various trades involved with home maintenance, Ulises addressed all my questions with the drain issue from root causing the issue through to the fix needed. Ulises offered several services and a recommended course of action while being respectful to the homeowner’s priorities and preferences. Overall, Ulises and Moris were calm, patient, professional and open to collaborating on a plan of action on the drain service and the subsequent camera inspection to confirm the blockage was successfully cleared. I had to have some pipes rerouted, and he saw that the ice maker pipe for my refrigerator was outdated. It was 1980s style, protruding too far out of the wall. When he finished he also let me see the results before the washing machine would cover up the area. He left the plumbing better than it was before. The installation done by the delivery company was not right and now I feel like that area will not be a problem again.

Exceptional all around! He came by to fix a leaking pipe, but the problem couldn't be fixed without shutting off the main line. He gladly went around to the neighboring units to inform them of the shut off. When he entered my home to do repairs, he put of protective foot coverings as to not damage or dirty my carpet. I had a water leak in my garage and arrangements were made through my condo management company for Scott English Plumbing to come out. They arrived as promised between the hours quoted and were very thorough and efficient. They came back and stood behind their work and made it right. Our association members will be pleased with their responsiveness. Turns out that a miscommunication caused some confusion over the status of a job. Super happy for the work Jimi provided to my plumbing problem. Had a bad leak to my elbow drain for the washing machine. Replaced a toilet with a toilet that didn't fit. You could only open the door half way. Said he realized that but made a judgements call it was good enough. Wants us to pay for another new toilet. Argued for HOURS and hours. Ugly experience

Josh was very knowledgeable, professional & helpful. He is detail oriented & very thorough. He went through each section of my plumbing & found every leak & replaced every pipe. He was also knowledgeable of other problems caused by other contractors doing repairs at the time. He found that the AC disposal unit was not connected & told the contractor to fix it. He recommended calling a home restoration company & filing a claim w/ my insurance to clean up the sewage that flooded under my house. I also like how he explained each problem as it came up & was not condescending at all. In my 2 years of home ownership I have dealt with 5 plumbers & he is by far the best. He went above & beyond my expectations & did not try to take advantage of us. I recommend Josh Davis to anyone that has plumbing issues.

These guys are great. They came out today to fix a lead that another plumbing company left. Matt diagnosed the issue, called our landlord, explained the issue and even got her to sign off on the repairs right on the spot (not always an easy feat with our landlord). I greatly appreciated their friendly demeanor and outlook. Matt and his intern/apprentice Ashe were outstanding. They could even make appropriate small talk when appropriate (which is better than standing awkwardly waiting for things to happen). Their rates seem reasonable from what I know of plumbing - I would definitely recommend them! Beyond that, their POS system/tablet that they can use to take pictures, send invoices and more is a plus in and of itself. I could see the invoice, pictures and all in an email that was sent to the landlord. Thanks Team!

There was a break from the meter to our house on Thanksgiving Eve. This left us without water for Thanksgiving. Scott English Plumbing was the emergency contact for our community association. To top it off it was probably the worse rain day on a Thanksgiving in recent history. The response was surprising fast considering that it was a holiday. Paul, the technician that came to do the work, assessed the work. The location where the break was required crawling into a shrub covered area. Also with a mud soaked area, these made for a difficult challenge. about 3 hours later, Paul got us back up and running with water. It was quite the sacrifice being that it was a holiday .

Michael is very professional did what was temporarily needed. Hope to see him on the larger job in the near future haven’t got the estimate yet.

I noticed a leak coming from the roof/wall in the kitchen. I immediately figured it was a leaking pipe in the wall, so I shut off water to the house. After searching online and calling numerous plumbing companies I set up multiple appointments for the following day. The next day, Chris R. from Scott English Plumbing was the first appointment I had scheduled. And what a relief it turned out to be! From the beginning Chris was very professional and upfront about everything. He looked at the location of the leak but without being able to actually see into the wall he informed me that he’d have to run some test. Which was fine by me. First, he used a pressure gauge on the main water valve and was able to confirm that there were no leaks in the main water supply pipes. So he concluded it would most likely be a leak in a pipe for either an upstairs shower, sink, or toilet. He tested the hallway bathroom first by running water in each appliance one at a time. The shower and faucet checked out fine. However, after flushing the toilet three times he was able to recreate the leak that was occurring! So he narrowed down the issue to the hallway toilet. He then removed the toilet and ran water directly down the piping, which resulted in no leak! Which had me a bit confused. However, Chris R. quickly informed me that the leak was probably due to the toilet not having a proper seal on it and that it wasn’t seated properly. So he replaced the wax seal that was underneath the toilet then reseated it. Afterward, we flushed the toilet multiple times and the leak had stopped!!! He then proceeded to check the other upstairs bathroom just to make sure. No problems there! I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently Chris R. was able to find and fix the problem. He didn’t try to price gouge or recommend any unnecessary work that would cost me a small fortune. He simply went about his work in a very calculated and professional manner. I will definitely recommend Scott English Plumbing to others in the future, but even more so I will recommend Chris R.!

I have been waiting on this company for two separate days and they NEVER SHOW UP! I have twice scheduled a time for them to arrive (3-5 PM) and BOTH TIMES they didn't show up saying they were too busy! What's the point of scheduling a timeframe if they won't even bother showing up?! Unacceptable. Will never use them again.

I needed new valves for my washer hot and cold pipes. I called over the weekend to set an appointment. They do have weekend emergency service, but customer has to pay the weekend rate. We had a leak in the basement garage of our condo and it appeared to be coming from our unit. Scott English Plumbing sent someone right out to check, and they decided they would have to open up the parking ceiling and run a camera into the pipe to find out what was wrong. We live in another state and made arrangements to come back for the appointment. Since we had to go home on the day of the appointment, they scheduled us as their first appointment of the day. They were on time, scanned the pipe, and found a crack in between our floor and the floor below. They are very professional and customer service oriented.

So from the very beginning of dealing with this company it was not the best customer service in getting back to me or my landlord. I had to basically hunt them down to do the work. It irritates me but nothing to where I'd freak out over. Once we finally nailed down a time and date the technician came out and said he had to open the whole shower fixture up (it was one of those fancy boxes) before he could really see where the issue was. Which again whatever that's fine. They finally came back with an estimate of $800+ to fix the issue. To which my landlord agreed but neither he or I was told they weren't replacing it with the same fixture! Instead it was some horrible cheap shower head that couldn't have cost more than $15. Which yet again it irrated me but whatever. But before this the tech called and said he was going to have to cut into the tile and drywall in order to fix it properly, and it'd be a $165 extra charge to fix that. At NO point did he or anyone else say anything other than that was the cost to fix it properly. They didn't say oh by the way we're leaving a gaping hole in your drywall, so you'll need to have someone fix that after we're done! They'd also said it'd be a few days job so when he told me they'd fixed the shower part but we'd have to wait a few days to take a shower, I assumed that meant they'd be back to finish the work. Well 2 or so weeks goes by and neither me or the landlord hear anything from them. So I call to find out when they're coming back to fix the rest, and the lady tells me oh no we don't fix drywall! So I explained what happened and how we were never told ANYTHING like that. She said she'd get back to me and still nothing to this day!!! Oh and did I mention they cracked a counter top (a very expensive counter top), and whatever they used to try and clean the drywall mess up, stained the stone on the countertop??? I give 1 & 1/2 stars only because no one was rude about the situation, but this is not ok!!!

Matt H from Scott English Plumbing came out because I was having problems with my kitchen faucet (low water pressure on the cold side). He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful- able to diagnose it within minutes. At the end of the day, my faucet was still under warranty and I needed to have it replaced. I fully expected him to just tell me to take care of it, and then come back out to replace it... but instead, he called the company himself to handle it so I had one less thing to worry about.I can't say enough good things about Matt- it's nice to work with someone that is trustworthy and honest.

I had made an appointment with a competitor , waited all day, they never showed up. I called Scott English and they made an appointment for the next day gave me a 2 hour window and were right on time. The plumber examined the situation and explained in detail what he was going to do and the exact cost. He unclogged the drain and inspected under the house. To many bait n switch plumber's out there. So glad I found Scott English,an honest plumber ! It was so nice to get a call after the repair from the owner himself to make sure we were completely satisfied! How often does that happen ! Art and his assistant Emmanuel arrived on time and were able to quickly diagnose the issue and blockage beyond the p-trap and replacing the old corroded trap with ABS/PVC. He coordinated with the unit below and HOA and had the blockage cleared and power washed in timely manner. We had what seemed to be a slab leak. The team showed up quickly and located the issue, and just as quickly fixed the problem. This was really good because the leak was in the down-stairs bathroom and lengthy downtime would have been very difficult for my elderly parents as they cannot climb the stairs to utilize the upstairs bathroom.PS: I did not select Value because this was a covered by insurance so I am not aware of the cost.

After a horrible 3 hour waiting and quotation experience with Rapid Plumbing from South Bay, I called Scott English Plumbing and William Curtis arrived within an hour.William C. was extremely polite and courteous and explained all of his plumbing diagnosis findings extremely thoroughly and thoughtfully.The quote provided was very reasonable. And William completed the repair immediately and in a very timely matter.I will definitely call Scott English Plumbing the next time I have a plumbing issue. They have definitely earned by business.

Had Josh M. come over due to a sprinkler pipe in the roof corroding and leaking.He was very helpful, respectful of the house and let us know exactly what he was going to do to diagnose and resolve the problem before doing it. He was professional with answering our questions about the cause and repair and provided assistance with locating a drywall specialist to deal with after-repairs.

Needed an estimate to clear a landscape drain. Ulises showed up on time with his helper Josh and presented themselves as professional and curtious. They explained the hydro jet and it's pros and cons very clearly. I wasn't looking to have any work done but Ulises gave me a great deal which led to further conversation concerning what could be accomplished and could it be guaranteed. We went back and forth and it came down to Ulises and Josh being completely honest. The price I was looking for wasn't going to assure success. Nothing matters more when dealing with trades than honesty. I swear most lie to gain a buck. I will probably have them out to complete the work just because I value there input and honesty.

Just had our second pinhole leak in our condo and luck for us Jimi M came to help. He was by far the best part of this whole experience! He does great work in a timely manner on top of being friendly and professional. He even put up with an angry onslaught of neighbors complaining and asking why the water was shut off. Sunday evening, a drunken idiot ran into the water main for my building, leaving 24 units without water. Jason W. and Diego B. worked all night digging down to the break and repairing. They were finally set to leave about 6:00 a.m. Monday morning. We started using Scott English Plumbing back in October when we had a complicated electronic problem with our master bathroom shower system, Tyler Mello came out and handled the entire issue from beginning to end and was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and courteous during the process. Tyler also installed a Halo Whole Home Conditioner and recently came back and added a Halo Ion to that system, plus installed a new garbage disposal and did two small bathroom sink repairs. We have used another plumber for years now, but have made a permanent switch to only using Scott English Plumbing from now on!

Arthur at Scott English was able to schedule, arrive and diagnose the severity of a cracked iron pipe under my slab in less than 48 hours. A day later, he had completely fixed the problem without removing the tub or demo-ing the floor, like several other companies had insisted was necessary. We got our problem completely resolved in less time than other companies had taken just to give us a quote! Thank you so much! We're so happy with your service!

The team at Scott English Plumbing was great. We had a broken drain under a cast iron tub, and they were the only plumber that took the time to fully understand the problem, and find the most cost effective solution. They were able to complete the repair without having to remove the tub and tile walls like everyone else who gave us a bid said we needed to do. Five days! For 5 days my sister and I were without hot water because this plumbing company pushed back on our mixing valves that were covered under warranty and less than a year old! It was the most disgusting display of customer service and mansplaining that I have ever experienced . Let’s not even get into the extreme mark up for these valves. They in no way treated our lack of hot water with urgency, we were met with unanswered calls and what felt like begging to be treated as educated women who wanted to get the service they initially paid for. My sister and I took turns reaching out to no avail until Saturday night 8.30pm when they communicated that they won’t be able to get to us until Monday. Not sure the point of being open 24 hours if you can’t help. We had to resort to boiling water on our stove for 5 days to bathe. I will never use this company again, they have shown their negligence as a service provider and ability to take advantage of clients finances when they are in duress. God forbid you get one of the “night managers” Kelly… his attempt at empathy was gross and very offensive at our situation. Additionally, I know someone from customer service will respond and try to gaslight this situation and say “they tried” but they did not and I have the phone records to prove it. I truly hope you treat your other clients better in the future.

She said she would call me at 3 with an update but they will FOR SURE BE THERE BY 5 if I can wait until then. I was never called until well after 4 pm and all they said was sorry. WORST PLUMBERS IN ORANGE COUNTY!!! STAY AWAY & BEWARE!!! This company was brough in by my association to assess a leak that was coming into the downstairs unit. Plumber arrived & my tenant let him in; he was tatood out, had one tooth, super scary; looked like a drug addict. They Used several ALIAS NAMES; Chuck, Dan & Damian. The guy went rite to my master shower after entering the 1st floor and didnt do anything and then took the parts apart of the shower, mangled it and put it back together then left & sat in his car talkin to his boss, then came in & said its $280 and its your toilet. When tenant asked to see the defective part he stated that it was under the toilet and he could not show her without removing the toilet. He assessed without removal of the toilet. Then, he mumbled we will still get paid regardless, he was asked to leave and then later that evening when the tenant used the shower it was leaking and the knobs; hot and cold were all messed up. I called & asked for the owner, he said you cant talk to him, they lied and changed their names over and over & now I am stuck till I deal with the Contractor Labor Board and try and locate the owner!! DO NOT USE THEM under any circumstances; if they enter your home watch them from start to finish!!!!! They intentional destroy your home in order to cause a leak/flood so that you can file a HomeOwners Insurance claim later when the leak evolves & you notice it and do a faulty diagnosis on the actual true issue/problem.

We had a leak in my neighbors plumbing but they had to access their pipes through my house. Jimi was the plumber that arrived at our house & he was wonderful! He was on time, courteous & kept us updated on his progress and when he thought he would be done. He did everything possible to keep our property as neat and clean as he could. Installation of a brass 3/4 in. Ball valve as faulty sprinkler system was keaking underground someplace in back yard. The business had a couple of issues with scheduling but ultimately Joe in the office got someone out to the property and got it done dispite the mistakes. Called them out to clear a drain of ours that has been cleared before by us or other plumbers. Called Scott English this time because of the 49.99 drain cleaning special. Our 25 foot plumbing snake we own did not fixed it this time. A plumber from Scott English came out and looked at the situation and tried to fix it with the 25 foot snake he had and it did not work. He said that was the biggest plumbing snake he had in his truck. My husband even told him he tried that and that did not work before the plumber started. The plumber tried to sell a service they offer for 600.00. It’s called a hydro blast. We are not in the place right now to do that so my husband said no thank you and gave him a check for 49.99. He did not fix the problem so we called another plumber who was able to snake the pipes with a 75ft machine no problem. If you want his number let me know. He did not try to sell us anything. Just fixed the problem. We will never use Scott English plumbing ever again. I have tried to call the owner a few times now to let him know about the service and how disappointed we were but have not gotten a hold of him.

I was really happy with both the company and the technicians that came out. I was able to get same day service and the call center was extremely friendly and thorough. Mikey was great, not only did he do everything in his power to diagnose my leaking shower problem properly but he was also informative, patient and detail oriented. I am so thankful to have found this company who clearly has awesome people who know what they’re doing.

We had a couple plumbers out to unclog a shower in our old 60 YO tract house. Originally we were told the only way to get this done was by Jack hammering the shower and replacing everything. When Arthur got here he did everything he could to clear it without Jack hammering. And he did…but he did discover that the other bath/shower was leaking and the pipes were pretty corroded. He was out the next day and spent the entire day working on the repairs. We now not only have our shower back but the shower/tub works like a charm and looks so purdy! I couldn’t recommend Scott English more and Brett and Arthur.

Brett arrived on time and was very professional. He quickly analyzed the issues and had my drain unclogged in no time. He also figured out what was wrong with the bathroom sink, how the original construction and install of the pedestal sink was done incorrectly. He is obviously very knowledgeable, and I appreciate the speed and professionalism. Prices are quite high though, especially for the short amount of time spent on site, but I guess that could go either way sometimes. Definitely recommend.

Nick is a strong communicater, informative, helpful, cautious, safe, and deliberate in his approach to work. At the same time he's young, strong, and aggressively worked long days to get several jobs done. He's my favorite plumber ever.

Two other HVAC companies came to my house, one said the heater blowing cold air was my HOA's problem, the other said I needed to replace a zone valve and he would only charge me $900. Both were sent by my home warranty company who of course doesn't cover zone valves. Anyway I ran into Chris with SEP in my community parking lot, he gave me a soft quote of what a zone valve replacement would cost and I made an appointment. Well he came today, flipped some other valve from an off to on position and now I have hot air again. SIMPLE FIX! I am so PO'd it took three guys to figure this out but so grateful that Chris was able to, these guys really know what they are doing!

The condensation on the floor of our garage under the AC unit was the concern. Slab leak was ruled out (Phew!). Shannon came out to change my valves for my new washer and dryer that was going to be delivered. One thing lead to another, when he shut the water off. My Shower had no pressure when the hot water came through. And my cold water, but that had a little more pressure. Shannon fixed the problem but was here longer then he should have been. Diagnosis of our slab leak was pretty quick, and Paul with his associate were able to re-route pipe with creativity, the right tools, and a minimum of wall cut-outs. Had a plumbing leak in the ceiling of a two-story, 50 year-old home. My father originally contacted a different plumbing company that came out and it appeared that the company had no idea what they were doing. Fortunately, my father found Scott English Plumbing. Paul S. came out on time and my father told him that he would like to have all of the upstairs plumbing replaced and asked if they could handle that. They assured him that they could. They provided my father with a detailed estimate and a start date within two hours and both seemed very reasonable. They started exactly as promised and finished exactly as promised. My father stopped by the house several times during the week of the job and everyone was professional, clean, and everything was done as promised. My father could not give enough stars to this company and group of professionals that worked on this 50 year-old house. The front office staff was also amazing when my father called. We were referred this company to have water access installed in a home we recently purchased to allow water/ice to dispense from our refrigerator. Nick and his partner arrived, were very friendly, and examined all possible options for the difficult job (our sink is not close to the refrigerator and is separated by doors/walkways, so there isn't an easy route). He provided a ton of knowledge (was patient with MY LACK of knowledge) and gave us a great price. We will have to seek another 3rd party provider to complete the task, which he had recommendations for and marked exactly what was expected from them to ensure the project runs smoothly. Very impressed with him and look forward to working with him!

If needed I would definitely use Scott English Plumbing again. The technician, Brett, was on time, explained the scope of work, cost & cleaned up the area before he left. In my opinion the cost was reasonable for the work done. Basically the Brett and the office staff made what was a stressful situation as easy as possible.

We had just got back to our condo after several weks overseas, and were met by a flooden kitchen cabinet due to a clogged drain. Called our by our HOAs maintenance org, Scott English responded within less than an hour and Brett worked really hard for several hours before everything was taken. Brett did an outstanding job, explained everything and was very polite. We could not be happier with the service he provided.

Have had a lot of issues with our bathroom sink, many plumbers have had to come and see if they could fix it. Most of the time it was fixed but shortly after it would clog back up again. Had our kitchen sink back up this weekend, called their customer service line and setup a call back for an appointment. The techs arrived, asked a few questions to make sure I qualified for the drain cleaning special price, and then they got to work, showed me the clog via camera and let me know my options for cleaning out and maintaining the drain system. In under 45 minutes from arrival my drain was cleaned out and flowing again.

These guys are awesome, came out early at my request to find a mystery leak in my ceiling, turns out copper shower line was corroded. Matt explained everything and had it spliced and replaced in less thana an hour! Even gave us a first timer discount! Ulises C. arrived on time on the day of service. He was very polite and answered all questions that we had. He performed his evaluation quickly and sent info back to his office. After that he left briefly then returned with everything needed to swap out our tankless water heater. He worked quickly to take out our old unit and install the new one. One the install was completed, he cleaned up the install location and vacuumed with his portable shop vac. He tested the faucets around the house for temp and pressure. Great service all around!

I have water intrusion in my lower secondary bedroom, our HOA notified us to call this company. They did a good job and we now know it’s not a plumbing issue.

Our plumbing was backing up in our veranda in July and again yesterday. I used scott pluming both times. Elliott was able to not only solve the blockage but also identified the root cause of the problem using a camera inside the pipe which was the buildup within our old pipe. He told us that we will probably experience blockage again and at that point we will need to pressure wash the pipes and told us the estimated costs. He also didn’t charge me for the service this time as it was covered under the first service’s warranty in July. I felt that he was very knowledgeable, informative, fast, and honest.

I called Scott English Plumbing for a malfunctioning garbage disposal, and Victor D. was the amazing plumber who assisted me. I was supremely lucky that Victor was already on site locally, and when I called to inquire about same-day service, I had help at my door in less than an hour. Victor assessed the problem quickly and professionally, ran to his van for the needed tool, and had my garage disposal working in another few minutes. Victor also gave great suggestions and helpful advice for when we're in the market to replace our old disposal. On top of it all, Victor put off going to lunch to handle this issue for me and didn't charge me for the quick fix. I will 100% be calling Scott English Plumbing for any and all future plumbing issues, and I can't recommend their punctual, professional, skilled plumbing services enough!

Mikey did a great job considering it took a few hours to just find we're the slab leak was. When he figured out that we would have to cut into a wall mirror,he went ahead and cut a 1 by 2 foot square in the mirror with minimal damage. Then rerouted with pex to the kitchen sink and was finished by the end of the day.We had another company out and they told us it was a leak in the garage 20 feet from the actual leak.I would recommend mikey from ScottEnglishPlumbing to anyone and will be using him in the future

Jimi and jimmy rocked, they came quickly within in an hour and tried to find the source of the water leak. They fixed up the drain that was causing the leakage and explained to me what caused the problem. They also contacted a water restoration company to call me for the water damage on the wall. Pretty easy to talk to and communicate.

Our kitchen sink was clogged. We tried another plumber first and they charged us $90 to tell us they couldn’t unclog it without cutting open the wall. Then we tried Scott English Plumbing. They used a more flexible auger to get around the pipe and unclog it. They came again later to hydro jet it to remove more of the debris so it wouldn’t clog again. My only complaint was I had to follow up with them a couple times before they came because they said they wanted to talk to my neighbors and then they didn’t call back.

Art was very professional and polite. He was very knowledgeable and explained the issue very clearly and explained the steps to prevent the issue from recurring.

Shawn did a great job. He had to use the medium snake to clear a blockage in the kitchen drain. Took care of it, will use him again!

Had the best plumbing experience ever Steve came by to fix a toilet problem I was having he was knowledgeable very friendly and kind he figured out what my problem was save me $10,000 to correct my problem that rotor router told me I needed. He takes pride in his work and was very clean and respectful of my home and answered all my questions I will continue to use Scott English plumbing as along as Steve is there. I had a great experience with Ulises and Joseph for a shower leak that I am experiencing. Ulises was solutions-oriented, going above and beyond in troubleshooting the issue, even though it was an uncommon one. He even offered to search or refer multiple companies to help with quoting and completing the shower work. Not only were the technicians competent, but were also courteous, curious, and were not afraid to reach out to their network, references, or coworkers. Would gladly use the company again.

Thank you to Mike Whelan for spending over 3 hours at my parent's house today after the gas company suggested they had an underground leak that required digging the slab & calling a plumber... Only to determine that the AC company they used didn't install things correctly & the gas company should have caught it. Called in my HOA plumber & so glad I did.

James and Sam arrived at my house to swap out a couple of water supply valves for my new kitchen faucet. Both technicians were friendly and cordial. Experience felt like a combo of work completion and hang-out session which I appreciated. Was better than the usual work-completed, now-pay-me experience. Was nice to not feel like a business transaction. Work took about an hour and work was high quality. Valves were swapped out. Kitchen faucet installation was completed and no leaks of any kind under the sink. This company is a con jobThey charged 129 dollars to snake a drain, which plugged up the following day. Of course.......no warranty, especially since they didn't use any cutting heads on the end of the line. You will really regret using them! A total waste of money and time........

Michael Whelan was super great and super attentive to the issue at hand. He advised and notified me with everything that was going on and was super professional. Saved my husband and I over $4,000 in repairs that didn’t even need to happen! Definitely use Scott’s English plumbing again.

Brett was incredibly helpful and explained every step of the process. He quickly diagnosed the issue, narrowed down the sewer blockage location and removed the blockage. He was even able to make it out the same day as I called.

Our townhome was experiencing a water leak from a pipe in the wall, leading to water on the ground outside the front door. After speaking with our HOA and informing them of the problem, they called Scott English Plumbing. That same day, within a few hours, Jimi came by to take a look at the issue, which was amazing. Even more amazing was Jimi's statement, after a while opening the walls to find the leak, that he would deal with this immediately.. and he did! Great service, professional and courteous. I can't speak to the service costs as the HOA is covering the bill, but the service was excellent!

Elliott and his apprentice did a great job! They hydro keyed my kitchen line and the main line. The main line was no small task but Elliott was patient and persistent and was able to clear the roots that had grown in to the drain line.I had called the guys that you hear about on the radio first, you know, the ones that don’t smell. I have used them on several occasions, I will not be using them again. It’s Scott English from now on!

We have used Scott English twice now and both times they did their best to make their services affordable and understandable. They Explain things clearly, and are very respectful and professional. Once they capped a gas pipe for us that took a bit of problem-solving, and the other time, they diagnosed some thing that actually needed an appliance repair person. We were extremely happy with the service both times and the two different technicians.
