Came out quickly found the problem and got it fixed really fast no issue great service first time using this company would recommend to anyone

I didn’t end up using this business. Although they were really thorough with their initial visit to evaluate the job, I wasn’t able to use them. They were very professional and on time and provided really good information.

Was misinformed on the diag. Did not resolve issue. Had to call another company that did resolve the issue in less than 30 min. I am now out of pocket on the diag. I am not happy that i could not get the issue resolved and had to call someone else to do the job correctly.

I had a leaky shower and was fixed quick and easy the only other problem was while they fixed the shower leak they found water damage and mold…they were able to tell me they would give me a quote and told me they could fix it within days…I’d say they were very professional and quick hopefully after the mold removal and water clean up is done i can update

Prices are extremely ridiculous, although the plumber had a good customer service. The pricing is a rip off. Roto-Rooter tried to charge almost $400.00 to clean out a bath drain. The water in toilet flushing tank was running continuously. When technician stopped by my place, very patiently he tried to see what was the main problem and troubleshooting. He explained to me different pieces in flushing tank and he assured me the problem solved because it was just stuck as overflowing.

I experienced clogged pipes in my old house and had to have the shower and sink pipes replaced. The technician performed the job that day and made sure there were no leaks anywhere.

Lionel was good and made an honest attempt to tackle the problem. Benjamin came in and brought the jet stream cleaner and charged me $800 and leonel had used it for about 20 minutes after with it appeared to be working. Benjamin Quickly insisted it could not be fixed and persisted that it would hafto be a more serious problem and gave me a quote of $4500. It just seemed to me $800 to use the jetstream for 20 minutes is ridiculous and it didn't fix the problem. In my point of view Benjamin was more interested in charging me than to resolve the problem.

i called to make an appointment and they said they would call me back.
next thing i know the tech shows up at my door where my wife was home alone and didn't even no they were coming because i did NOT even make an appointment.
so i talk to the guy and he said it be 400 dollars to snake a drain i told him no so he still charge m wife an 75.00 dollar service call for what we did NOT even make an appointment.

Our main water pipe bursted and was pouring out water, I called several plumbing companies as my leasing office took far too long to respond and Roto-rooter answered quick and gave me a great price to come out while other companies wanted to charge me a flat fee of $400+ just to give me an estimate. Billy was our technician and Thomas was the representative who answered my call. Both were awesome personable people. Feels great when you receive great professional customer service in a moment of panic and desperation. Billy was knowledgeable and gave us great advice and a great estimate, although our leasing office finally answered and took care of the rest, roto-rooter was quick to send someone to my house within 6 minutes I kid you not.

He didn’t come to clear my sewer line, he came to use his expensive camera and get excavations to find clean out valve.
There are numerous ways to send a snake through your line. He was all about how much he could charge.

Robert and Austin came to our home. They kept us informed, were on time and professional. It is a little pricey but when you have a need you do what you have to do. But I would have Robert and Austin again.

Where do I begin? I had reached various plumbers in the area to complete a repiping project.  Two weeks into being without water,  I called Roto Rooter and their friendly receptionist immediately scheduled a same day visit that day. Robert came by and assessed the entire house; within 1 day he and Benjamin were able to provide me with a fair estimate and time frame in which this project would be completed and I would have water access again.  The following days,  Robert and his partner broke ground and began replacing the water lines.  Throughout the process, Robert and his partner were professional, reassuring and informative on the work and areas they were working in.  On the second day, they stayed longer than their shift to complete the project so that my family and I would have running water. I am so thankful for their  hard labor and commitment to deliver fast and exceptional work. People like them are reasons why I will continue to be a Roto Rooter customer and why I recommend them if you want a  seamless, quick and professional plumbing project to be completed.

I was having issues with my septic tank. I called Roto Rooter and they had someone out the next day to check it. It was full and they got it all taken care of with no problems on the very same day

Too expensive. Charged 350 for a simple job of uncaping the outside line for my kitchen. Job took less than 5 minutes and most of it was the guy talking. They are advertising best price and low pricing but it's all a scam.

Roto-Rooter was quick to get me scheduled, and the technician came out first thing the next day. But I was no presented with an estimate before the work and was only told after the work was completed that their computer system was down and I had to call in to pay since I couldn’t pay cash. Not super thrilled with the way that was handled, but the work was completed in a timely manner.

They wanted $750 to snake a toilet with a clog in the main line because there was no clean out. It seems predatory to charge that much for a $100 service.

They came quickly to find out about the work needed to be done. Unfortunately they did not provide those service needed to be fixed the problems. They do refer us to another provider.

Called them out to snake main drain however they would not do it because their insurance wouldn't allow them to go on roof. They told me they'd have to install a clean out (est $2,500.00). When asked what that process is I was told among other things they'd have to go on the roof (yet I was just told they don't go on roof).

In Bakersfield, Marcus B., the technician for Toto Rooter, was simply wonderful. He was extremely professional and calm in his demeanor, and he was so sweet to my elderly mom and her pets while he was performing his duties. Fabulous work performed. We loved him. Thank you!

This company is a ripoff. Do not recommend under any circumstances. Called them to check for a leak under my kitchen sink. The first tech was vary helpful and thought the leak was coming from a condenser line for my a/c unit connecting to my drain pipes. He called his manager (Benjamin) to confirm his inspection and this guy said no that can’t be it and said it was a pipe in my concrete under my sink (very expensive) and that my whole kitchen would have to be redone. A very expensive job. So I got a second opinion from a different plumbing company and sure enough he confirmed what the original tech said that it was a leak from my a/c condenser line and it would be a simple and straightforward repair. And then I get a bill from their water restoration department for $2000+ all cause they had a dehumidifier and air purifier in my house for 2 days, didn’t do anything else besides those two pieces of equipment and they wanna charge over $2k. This place is a joke and scam. Regret ever calling them.

I was told the technician would have to see my raincoat water treatment system to be able to tell me if they could work on it or not. Red Flag!!! But, the girl I spoke with told me it was a free estimate. I specifically asked.. well what if we don't use your service.... she replied that's OK, we would have to see it anyway. I called on a Saturday around 11 am because I had a shower that had been backed up for a few days and nothing I was doing was helping. The woman on the phone was very helpful and they sent me lots of updates via text regarding when someone would be there. Rene was at my house by 2 and was very thorough when trying to fix the problem. He explained everything to me step by step and fixed the problem in less than an hour. He also helped explain some things about my plumbing system to me. I will definitely use Roto-Rooter again.

Hot water flow is low after installation. Other than that it went well.

He took 3 minutes to look at a problem and then says that he was going to charge me $700 for something that should only have taken 5 minutes to fix. That he didn't even have the parts to fix it. He then said he was going to send me an estimate so I can look it over and I never received it. I called a plumber to get a problem fixed not to get scam.

The plumber who came to see me was a polite and professional young man. However, it was a total waste of everyone’s time for him to come see me. The dispatcher could have eliminated the waste of everyone’s time with some key questions. I was very disappointed as I have a simple drain clog but the plumber said he wasn’t allowed by the company to do the basic things most plumbers do to solve the problem. He could have had the job done , but Roto Rooter tried to push a $2000+ job for a simple drain blockage. What a con. A waste of everyone’s time.

They overcharge for faucet and tub gasket replacement they are charging me for 325 an hour and 310 for parts with their own markup of 125 dollar in parts. Went to angis list and get the job done for 210.

We replaced our water heater and upon changing valves/lines there was a leak inside the wall pipe that we could not get out on our own. We called and within 1-2 hours we got someone over. He did a great quick job on removing the broken pipe, and helping us finish installing our water heater. We are super grateful 🙏 for the help and the hot showers.

Very expensive company to use found someone for half the price & did more for me then Roto Rooter won’t use again I ended up paying twice

The service both on the phone and in person were polite, and professional.

However, there is no excuse, whatsoever, for the minimum costs for their service. The machines they use and the labor rate are no different than other companies, yet their cost is 5-10 times as much as non corporate companies. Use a local small or family owned business. Roto-rooter wanted $2000 to start the job. Which was to snake out a yard drain, I then rented a snake and water jet machine and did the job myself for $130 and compared the price with Stan’s discount plumbing where it would have cost $200. Employees were great, but corporate prices will rob you blind.

Sink backed up on a Friday night and thought about waiting til Monday but decided at 11 am Saturday morning to call for service and Brady was on his way and the job was done by 1 pm.

I was happy with the repair, but not so much with the price. We had a sink basket repaired in the kitchen and the gentleman wasn't there nearly an hour when he completed the job. He charged us $400 to put a new sink basket in the kitchen sink. I believe this is too expensive and should be reported. The cost of the sink basket at most is about $48.00. and from my understanding they are supposed to give us a quote about the price before they did the work and my wife said this never happened.

Mr. Billy Jenkins came out to help with our repair problem with kitchen sink and dishwasher leaking issue. He was able to fix our issue in a reasonable time. Very knowledgeable, broke down exactly what was wrong so we had an understanding as to what was causing our dishwasher to leak. Communication was amazing. He called before arrival to let us know he was on his way. And had great laughs with this gentleman! Highly recommended! Thank you again!

Horrible service I called during normal business hours on a Friday hoping they would be able to assist me with a water leak I had. They told me I was on the schedule for the same day and that it would be free of charge. I waited all day and nobody ever called me or showed up. The next day I had to call back and ask what was going on they said somebody was supposed to get a hold of me but still nothing. Long stong story short they didn't show up till Sunday two days later and then wanted to charge me after hour service charge. Will never call or recommend this company to anybody.

I own 6 apartments/houses in Bakersfield California.

Roto-Rooter is only cost effective for big projects and even than they are EXPENSIVE!!!! (Roto-Rooter has done 2 jobs for me to date)

For a small patch job they charged me $2,600 for 4 feet of PVC and 2 rubber couplings for a pipe replacement! (Material cost to them $100 AT MOST!!)

4 feet!!!! and the rest of the line is going bad which they didn't even mention after they inspected the line!!!!!

I will personally replace the rest because of their crazy pricing. I can pick up two guys at Home Depot and get it done for half. I have done much more complicated work building water treatment systems for entire cities across the country out of stainless let alone ABS or PVC (Easy)

Go with someone else. DANG! I'll do it for half with the prices they are charging for patch work. Send me and e-mail. No joke.

The Technician Rene was very professional and very helpful. He inspected everything and gave honest clear concise information. I'm not often impressed with tradesman but Rene deserves a Gold ⭐ and a 5/5 rating.

Luis not only showed up on time and worked diligently to resolve my issue, but he returned later the same day because he realized he'd forgotten to provide me with info about (and a solution for) a secondary proboem he diacovered while fixing the primary problem. Most repair guys would shrug it off when they realized they forgot something. He put in the extra effort I actually needed, and I REALLY appreciated it. I have zero complaints about my experience with him or the company in general.

These guys gave me an initial quote that was high then they tacked on another fee while they were out here. They also had us wait 3 hours for them to show up. Would not recommend these guys. Plumbing Doc came on by and did it for half the price and stuck to there original quote.

Our problem was our fault, they came out very quickly and fixed it after some extensive repairs.

$640 ($140 for the unit) for Garbage disposal installation and $490 for Toilet installation. $360 for a Kitchen faucet installation (I was quoted and did not have done) I also have not recieved an invoiced. Should labor be this expensive? If every plumbing service was this expensive everywhere it wouldn't exist.

The person on the phone was super quick, helpful, and laid everything out; letting me know everything I needed to know beforehand and when to expect a call from the plumber! The plumber Rene got to my home, checked out my problem and gave me 2 quotes! 1. he could grab the parts himself but would cost me more or 2. I could go out to grab the parts and it would cost me less. I asked about what parts to grab and he told me and even showed me! But I opted to have him grab the part so that he could just finish it today since I didn't mind paying more just to have it done! In the end he did a great job and as a young man I enjoyed the fact that he even taught me how to do it the next time I need to replace the faucet and spout (as long as I didn't break it like I did this time around). Awesome job and was worth every dollar spent!

Tried to charge me $400 for a service that cost me $250 6 months ago and was actually under warranty to be done for free. Technician then became irritated and unprofessional. Lied to my face multiple times and the Project Manager was equally as poor. Will not be using this company again.

Service was done professionally. The service personnel were very skilled and knowledgeable of their trade. They explained the course of actions to be done to resolve the issue very well. They provided the needed tools, equipment and apparatus for the job. The head office is fully in-charge of what’s going on in the field with their project manager, Richard Asunción, doing the actual inspection. The issue was resolved in two-hours and the service done has a one year warranty. The price is a little bit pricey but for a 16-year old house it’s about time the Roto-Rooter did the hydro-jetting our drain line. It’s worth it. Thanks Roto-Rooter!
