The impeccable and friendly service that Sean and his team at Red Wrench Plumbing provides is so refreshing. Lightning-fast response, excellent communication (paired with realistic expectation setting), and a clear commitment to customer service…that’s what Red Wrench is all about.
Our garbage disposal broke a day and a half before we were scheduled to host the one giant dinner party we throw all year (yes, typical).
I called around (a few big shops and some local mom/pop shops) and no one had technicians available to help with such a short turnaround time. The usual response each and every time: our first appointment isn’t until next Wednesday afternoon, sorry. I was certain we wouldn't find someone in time to fix it. Well, Red Wrench Plumbing came to our rescue!!
I found Red Wrench through their glowing Yelp reviews and left a voicemail very late on a Thursday. I explained we were in a pinch and needed a fix or replacement unit before Saturday morning. The office manager called me back within 30 minutes to let me know that they didn't have availability but she would see if a technician could squeeze us in the next morning (Friday). She contacted Sean who was out on another call, no doubt saving another customer’s day. An hour later, Sean rang me to ask about the issue, provide a ball-park estimate depending on the problem I had described, and schedule an appointment for the very next morning.
Sean went out of his way (really, they normally don’t provide service in our SF neighborhood) and did so with a smile. As the appointment window approached, he called me prior to arrival to notify me that he was on his way and to make sure it was still a convenient time. He arrived right when promised and diagnosed the problem immediately (same problem our landlord said it was). Sean replaced our defective garbage disposal and made sure everything was in good working order. He asked me to contact him if we had any trouble with the installation.
After the appointment, I needed to follow up with Sean due to additional requests that my landlord had (a second copy of the invoice, proof of purchase, and warranty for the new system). I hated to bug him, but Sean replied immediately to my request and sent me the required paperwork the very next day. The new unit came with a 2 year warranty and Sean threw in additional 3 years of service (parts and labor) to cover the system if anything ever happened to it.
