We came home from a long Thanksgiving trip to find that our water heater had blown and leaked until one of our neighbors noticed water coming from our garage and turned off the water at the street for us. We found Mike doing a Google search and could not have been happier. Mike called back within half and an hour on a Sunday and quoted us a very reasonable price and he was out in an hour installing our new water heater. Before calling Mike, we had contacted another local company that stated we would need a lot of addition items and wanted to send out a project manager to close the deal. Mike stuck to his original estimate and stated that we didn't need any of the items noted by the other company. Mike is a true professional and it was a pleasure doing business with him. Worked well with my tenants
Called Primo for a leak coming from our second floor. Used ASI last time for a kitchen faucet replacement and they charged me over $800 to remove the old faucet, replace it and the cost of the faucet. Later found out should have been about $300. When I called Primo I spoke with Mike and explained what we had, a leak from our upstairs bathroom. Mike stated the first thing we should do is contact Cutting Edge Restoration and have them go into the ceiling to see how much water damage there was. He stated he had worked very well with them for some time.
I called Cutting Edge and that day they had a technician at my home who quickly, thoroughly and cleanly located the leak and opened a hole in the roof for the repair. He then called Mike. Mike came by the very next day and positively identified the leak and repaired it in very little time. Mike was every bit as professional as the Cutting Edge tech. Mike's price was very reasonable and he is now my plumber of choice and someone I will recommend to anyone who asks. Takes a lot of pride in his work.

Mike has been a life saver more than once! Last job he came to our rescue again! Our shower valve would not turn off so we had to have the water shut off of our entire home. We needed someone right away. Mike came and fixed our problem (replaced our cartridge) within 15-minutes and all was done! (We called another company for into and they wanted $2000+ tear out part of the wall and take up to 1/2 a day) Mike charged 10 x less!!!!! Up front-pricing, very honest and definitely knows his stuff. We will use no other plumber!

I have known Mike Labbe for over 15 years. Primo Plumbing is one of the best plumbing companies I have come accross. Mike is very knowledgeable and professional when it comes to his plumbing business. He will not over price you and does a great job. Mike will also answer any questions over the phone with you on any plumbing issues you may have. I can tell you that Mike will beat any price and will get the job done for you in a timely manner. Just the other day my sister in law had her water heater go out and asked me if I knew a plumber. I recommended Promo Plumbing to her. Mike has done 2 jobs for me. One was to replace my water heater with a new tankless one. The other was to replace 2 faucet sets in my bathroom. Here's what you should know:
1) You can trust him completely. He will tell you what he knows and what he does not. You can leave him in your house alone and know he won't steal or snoop on anything. You can expect him to give you a fair price. You can know that he will tell you the truth.
2) You can expect an excellent job. Mike is a smart person who knows enough to customize his solution to fit your needs. I had several constraints related to my HOA and he was able to tailor my solution to deal with those issues. He will also provide the good, bad and ugly of the options.
3) He is not married to one hot water heater distributer. He installs many brands and can tell you the pros and cons of them as they relate to your situation.
I spent a lot of time educating myself about water heaters and interviewing different plumbers. Because of this, I can feel very confident saying that you will be in good hands if you choose Mike, AKA Primo Plumbing

100% recommend Primo Pumbling. Yesterday our hot water heater went out and after one DIY attempt we called Mike at 6am this morning. He was at our house by 8, finished up by 10. He was incredibly efficient, kind and took me though exactly what he needed to do. The price quoted over the phone was really reasonable didn't change even after Mike checked on a few extra things for us. After noticing significant water damage in the garage ceiling, I called Primo Plumbing to assess the situation. Mike was prompt in his return phone call and assisted in putting a plan into place to call a leak detection and restoration company, as well as provided me with an estimate to fix the plumbing problem. He later came out and replaced the cast iron drain line in the garage ceiling, as well as inspected other areas of the plumbing in the crawl space.
I found Mike to be straightforward and fair. I would not hesitate to call Primo Plumbing again when the need arises. Thanks Mike!
Plumbing is a job for the experts and thats exactly what Primo plumbing is. I called them in a emergency today and they quoted me a price immediately, were honest about what the price may be depending on the situation. My outside sewage line was backed up. I was told by the plumber that they had another call first but then would be out. They showed up earlier than expected and did a great job of finding the stoppage.
They are local and I love to support local business, especially courteous and honest ones like Primo Plumbing.
Mike removed old water heater from inside the house and installed a new one in the garage. He was very professional, on time, cleaned up area worked and very reasonable priced. Would highly recommend him.

Our garbage disposal was not working. Mike walked me through the fix over the phone. He saved us hours and the cost of a house visit. Great guy. He could have came over and charged us for an after hours visit but instead was honest and helped us out for free. I owe you one.
I find Mike to be an exceptional plumber and able to handle whatever is thrown at him. The best part though is that he is honest and very straightforward in his assessment of the problem at hand.

When our regular plumbing company gave us a shockingly high quote to replace two bathroom faucets, we decided to get another quote. Mike was highly recommended to us by a good friend and we gave him a call. His quote was quite a bit less than the other company's, which gave us pause, but we decided to give him a try because our friend, a relator, had a lot of work done by him and was always pleased. Mike was on time and assessed the work needed, clearly explained what had to be done, and wrote up the quote within minutes. Our turnoff valves needed to be replaced in addition to the faucets, but he already had the parts in his Van and got right to work. Two hours later he was done and we had two new beautiful faucets with functional turnoff valves. Mike did a tremendous job for 1/3 of the other company's quote. I highly recommend him and we'll be calling him in the future for any of our plumbing needs.

OMG! THIS MAN SAVED OUR LIVES. I WORK AT A DOCTORS OFFICE IN CHULA VISTA AND ONE OF OUR PATIENTS BACKED INTO OUR BUILDING WHICH BROKE THE BACK FAUCET AND CAUSED A HUGE FLOOD. Called Primo Plumber on Oct 2nd for a water line leak connected to the toilet and to fix the old bathroom valve coming from the wall. Mike was at my house within 2 hours. Mike explained what kind of parts he was going to use. Mike fixed both things and showed me the old parts that looked cracked and rusted. I called Mike out to my house after our daughter broke or shower on nozzle off while turning it off!!! Needless to say it broke off behind the wall of course so now way to shut the water off, other than shut off the whole house 😩 Called Mike first thing in the morning he came out and had our shower back to normal and water on.... Called Mike at Primo Plumbing to repair a broken valve for washing machine. He called me back and we scheduled an appt. for later in the week. That morning he called and was able to come a bit early, so that was great! Explained in detail what he needed to do (required a small square cut out of wall behind washer)so there were no surprises. He worked efficiently and the repair was done in no time! No more water leaking from the wall! Mike is a very nice and professional man, I would recommend using Primo Plumbing to everyone!
I have used Primo several times in the last few months, a broken pipe required specialized care. Mike was honest and respectful in all my dealings with him. He gave me an estimate and arranged for the restoration people. It was a nitemare and because of his knowledge and help, everything worked perfectl. I recently had him install a tankless water heater. He advised me on maintenance and expectations. I’m very pleased. Mike was very responsive to our needs. He was communicative about when he was almost to our house, about the cost we would incur, and about the work he was going to do. We had to get a water line replaced before our new fridge gets delivered. Mike showed me how that waterline works, and how to know if the water is on or off. Then he replaced a faucet for us. Overall, Mike was kind and professional. We would use him again!

I have no doubt that Mike with Primo Plumbing was the best possible choice for replacing my water heater! I called him on a Saturday afternoon when I noticed that my water heater was leaking, he was at my house with a new one in 30 minutes! It's never fun to have to go through unplanned home repairs, however, this was a surprisingly painless experience. After Mike left I had a problem getting my garage door to close (probably from disconnecting the power cord to it to facilitate the water heater replacement) and he was back within minutes and helped me resolve that issue. Finally, later that evening, I discovered that I was unable to open my dryer door as it had to be moved slightly to facilitate the installation of the drip pan for the water heater (nothing can ever just be easy, right??). On Monday I called Mike to let him know and once again he was here within minutes to resolve the problem! This should be the only review you need to read to know that you should hire Mike Primo Plumbing!!! Very Highly Recommend!!!

Our water heater went bad over the weekend so I called Primo Plumbing. They returned my call right away and scheduled a new heater to be installed Monday morning. Mike is a professional in every way, on time, explained the work and costs, and most importantly he did quality work. Great job Mike! I highly recommend Primo Plumbing!
I had a pipe break in our garage; unfortunately I didn't have my very own plumber so I went online searching for one with good reviews. I hit the jackpot. Called Mike and he answered immediately. He told me he would swing by before his first job and take a look. Arrived when he said he would, figured out the problem, gave me an estimate, and said he would return after he finished his original job. Returned 20 minutes before he thought he would be back AND told me that he had thought of a way to do my repair that would SAVE me money. An hour and 10 minutes later the job was completed and it was $100 less than the original quote. He also checked my pressure gauge and told me it worked just fine, there was no need to replace it. When I asked him about replacing a corroded looking hose bib and water turn-off valve, he said he could do the work but it wasn't in need of immediate repair if I wanted to work it into my budget down the road. I don't know what else to write other than - when you pick out a repairman just from GOOGLE reviews, Mike was what you cross your fingers and hope for. Punctual, professional, honest. Now I have my very own plumber.
I would highly recommend Primo Plumbing for any and all your plumbing needs. Mike recently installed a water heater for me and his price was by far the best I could find! Highly recommend Primo. He is very honest and knowledgeable and explained all of our options before doing the work.
