Wow!!! I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with my wall furnace and couldn’t seem to find any help, so I called NEXGEN. First time customer. My tech, Albert, called me 30 min before arriving, he showed up on time, troubleshot the problem (which was just a reset button) and fixed it. The most amazing part is, there was NO CHARGE. No service fee, no labor charge, nada. Yeah, it was a just a simple fix, but no bill and they were here 2 hours after I called? NEXGEN has earned my business from now on.There is a shortage of quality professional services these days and your company has set the bar. Thank you!

Yes ,when I called NEXGEN the person I talked to was very polite and she asked me some questions and sent out a technician promptly . Our technician Clemente, was very knowledgeable and courteous. Clemente listened to all we had to say and our thoughts on the issues . Clemente checked everything , And then he gave us his advice and recommendation . We will take his advice on this matter and because we had such good experience with him we will do business with NexGen again...

I called Nexgen air to come and look at my heater. It would not turn on; so, Manny came to service my call. He provided info. I had not been given before. He checked and cleaned my heating unit and was thorough when explaining the issues and future needs. He was very professional and understanding of my heating needs.

Our technician, Mike was scheduled for 4pm in the afternoon and surprised us with a phone call that he was available at 2pm. He was on time, professional and efficient. He gathered our info, history of our HVAC unit and symptoms of the issues we were experiending and started investigating. At each stage, he was informative, gave great recommendations, potential causes and solutions. Since our issue is at least a 2 stage process, he will be back again today for the next step. Grateful he was able to work within our time frame too.
Christian was great at explaining what we need to do to update the system at our home. He went an above and beyond what we expected and was very polite and professional. On time service and will definitely recommend them to anyone.

Next Gen service is speedy and professional and although my issue was resolved quickly to do negligence from another company. They resolved it fast. I can’t speak for the pricing because my issue was a simple fix but the professionalism from Next Gen is very high. I would/will call them again if I have any other issues
The technician knew exactly what is going on minutes he got there. Apparently it is a common issue, a very quick fix. The cost of part and labor was $300. Upon reviewing the part cost online, it was essentially $250 for labor. I opted for compressor saver kit per recommendation. It was another $300 fix for another $250 of labor. Essentially the company was charging $500 for slightly less than 1 hr work. They fixed the issue right away and yes it was my choice to say yes or no on the fix but the cost left a bad taste in my mouth. I would recommend just paying for diagnostic of $68 and get a 2nd quote for parts and installation from another vendor can tough it out couple of more days.Edit: It was not long after the review someone from the company reached out. They helped lessen the burden so that was nice.
Nexgen Air responded back promptly, provided immediate, excellent service, and had very reasonable costs. My technician, Ruben, went over each step with me and showed genuine concern for my needs. Nexgen serviced my air conditioner and water heater. They quoted me prices that were much more reasonable and lower than other companies for the same service. It's hard to find that level of honesty and integrity in most other companies. The manager, Scott, also wanted to ensure that I was highly satisfied with their service. Nexgen will be the only company I will go with in the future for my air conditioning and water heater repairs.
The thing I liked most about working with Nexgen is when I let them know about things not working properly and damage done to my front door (one of the workers must have hit it with something as materials were being brought into the house), they worked on addressing these issues in a timely manner. I have never worked with contractors that are perfect, so I do not expect any contractors to be perfect. A lot of times there are issues with the work not turning out as planned or something needing to be addressed after the work is done, in just about any kind of home project. What's really important to me is owning up to and fixing issues, because nearly every house project has issues to be resolved to be done the right way. So I'm glad that I we used Nexgen, because they made good on their agreement to get the work done the right way. Other contractors want to blame other people or not take responsibility for things that go wrong, Nexgen took responsibility and came back to address outstanding issues with our ducts and we appreciate that.

Nexgen’s installation of our ducts and vents for our air conditioner as well as insulation to our attic was done promptly in one day. All of the servicemen were extremely polite to us and considerate of our property, cleaning everything up when they were finished. All of our vents are now blowing the airflow evenly throughout the house. We give 5 stars to the Nexgen company.
NexGen was excellent from start to finish. Dispatch was thorough and asked enough questions to ensure when the tech came out he would have all info/materials needed for the inspection. The tech, James, was punctual, professional, and honest - he gave me great advice on how to repair my system in the most cost effective way. He put in the time, and shared knowledge/info that helped me. Very happy with this service and highly recommend!

I had my condo (1,300 sq. ft.) bided for a new AC/furnace/ducting/abatement by all of the big box retailers you can think of like HD, Lowes, Costco, Sears, and a couple of smaller outfits.The journey...Interestingly enough most of the big box retailers sub-contract their work locally to the smaller outfits so expect a slightly higher price tag, because they have to pay commission to the big box retailer. The Costco sub-contractor from Associated Heating & Air was by far the most unreasonable price and insisted on pushing a 2-ton AC unit even though a 3-ton unit was being replaced. I did my research and at a minimum I needed a 2.5-ton unit and max of 3-tons could be installed. After some arguing he said “fine get a 3-ton unit consider it free upgrade…” I was getting nearly a $15,000 dollar bid from him so free upgrade my !?!?. Costco if your listening sub-contract your work to Nextgen you will make a lot more people happier. Sears rep was very informative and started high and eventually came down to a reasonable bid and 0% financing for a Kenmore unit. Lowes rep was great and had a lower bid than Nexgen, but they had a 16.9 sear Lennox unit and I wanted a higher rating.Nexgen Air was awesome from the bid process initiated 5/4/17 Thursday night to the completion of the work on 5/6/17 Saturday. Initially my father and I worked with John, Project Manager and he did a thorough review of the condo and bid us $1,200 more than the lowest bid we had from Lowes sub-contractor for a Trane 18 sear unit/80% 2-stage furnace/abatement/ducting. John split the difference and we ended up paying more, but for a better unit. I expected everything to be removed and installed over the week, however, to my surprise John said the abatement guys will be here tomorrow morning. I looked at my watch 9:30pm Thursday night, so they did arrive Friday morning and finished the work within 2 hours. Nexgen immediately called after the abatement work was complete on Friday afternoon and came by with the Tustin City permits. John called and said “My installation team headed by Aldo(Caesar) will arrive at 7am Saturday and should have the work completed by Sunday the latest. I was elated because their service was fast and friendly. Aldo was informative and his team were all professional and their attention to detail was phenomenal, so much so that when the City inspector arrived the week after he said “In my 20 years of inspecting this is the cleanest job I have ever seen”. The installation team finished the work the same day. My AC/Heating was up and running within 2 days. Nexgen team thank you very much!
Just moved into new home and looking to add AC. Was considering two other professional and capable companies. But then I met with Mario from Nexgen as a result of a recommendation from one of my new neighbors. I was so impressed with Mario and the company's owner that I decided to go with them. The experience only got better! Excellent on time installation and unbelievable follow-through customer service. We signed up for the lifetime warranty! I think I owe my neighbor!
- Update -Hi Bill,Thank you for the first written response from NexGen. I had been anticipating it. Alright, Bill, you and Jason got me this time with the SEER rating issue.Ok, This is my fault as I'm the one who signed the contract that Jason advertised as a 17 SEER unit. However, the actual part number he included in the contract is ASZH4, which corresponds to a 14.3 SEER unit. You're right, it's on me for signing the contract without requesting the unit's spec. sheet but rather relying on your representative's spoken assurances. Lesson learned.Just for your reference, let me share what Jason conveyed when he came to my residence for the estimate. He inquired whether I had received estimates from other contractors to match the price. I showed him an estimate featuring a Trane unit (up to 16 SEER), and he took a photograph of it, so I assume you're aware. He stated that Trane's SEER rating goes up to 16 SEER, implying that it might actually be a 14 or 15 SEER unit instead. On the other hand, our unit (Nexgen) boasts a superior efficiency rating of 17 SEER. He called his manager to inquire about a price match and assured me that I was receiving an unprecedented discount. He even mentioned that he'd never seen such a deal anywhere else.I actually had an estimate for a Goodman unit which was about $1,000 cheaper than the Trane unit, but I refrained from showing it to him since it was a 15 SEER unit. Strangely, I now notice that the Goodman unit's part number matches the one installed in my home.Jason also explained that city approval cannot be obtained for anything below 16 SEER, thus Nexgen installs units meeting or exceeding this requirement. That should give you a good grasp of the situation.Anyway, I believe this is a productive starting point; allowing everyone to monitor the ongoing developments. Please refrain from making or requesting phone calls - let's stick to written communication here. if all issues are cleared, I can re-rate your business because your on-site crews were doing good job.I had forwarded other queries already, of which only half have been addressed. Could you please attend to the remaining matters as well?1. I am still unable to locate the $1,000 heat pump rebate application form from SCE. Nexgen representatives also mentioned that they would guide me through the process of submitting the application form online, but I haven't received any further communication. Hopefully, this isn't another instance of false advertising.2. As for the three scratches on my interior wall, I believe I can handle the repair without straining my finances. Alternatively, if you prefer, you could include a box of white wall patch for me when you come to repair or replace the dented compressor cover. I have some leftover paint to cover them.3. Regarding the AC circuit breaker, your employee informed me that they're unable to touch the SCE AC circuit breaker, necessitating homeowners to contact SCE for reinstallation. Currently, SCE seems only attending to emergency calls and not customer inquiries. BTW, NexGen removed the circuit breaker while installing new compressor, If touching the AC circuit breaker isn't feasible, would it be acceptable to remove it?4. Last question, Jason asserted that Nexgen provides lifetime warranties, but upon reviewing the contract, I discovered that he had marked 10-year part warranties only and 1-year labor warranties. I'm now uncertain whether this is another case of misleading advertising or if the lifetime warranties are indeed genuine.

Very expensive!! Showed my bill to someone in the industry and they couldn’t believe the upcharging. Called them because of the good reviews but was pressured to give a good review. I would not call them again! All that advertising you pay for.

All I can saw is WOW! We received several quotes and visits from different companies since our AC unit broke down a week ago. And we were completely blown away when Jason came to our house to speak with us and take a look at everything. Not only was his pricing very fair and transparent but he was also very kind and understanding. He made sure to show us different options and was also very patient with us. He was also extremely knowledgeable. Michael, Juan, and Hugo came to our home today to replace the unit and they were such a pleasure to have in our home and work with. David T. performed an AC tune-up at my home today and what a wonderful surprise to meet such a nice young man who is also very knowledgeable. professional and courteous. He called 20minutes before arriving and immediately set to work. He was able to give me advice on how I could maximize my AC output while reducing my costs. Incredible professionalism. The team was informative with showing me exactly what they were doing! What really impressed me was that there was an issue were with even 400 of pressure there was a blockage and informed that they would return tomorrow morning. I believe it was a dirty process and they needed a camera to diagnose the issue as this 400 pressure should have cleared everything out. The team left with no charge for their work today! They do not charge you until the work is completed and satisfied on my end and theirs. That was impressive to me as another company would have said okay done and I wouldn’t have known otherwise that there was still a blockage. Wow if that’s not honesty, professional and ethical I don’t know what else is

We are very satisfied customers From customer service calling as soon as possible and taking care of the problem to Edward who was the guy that came down to our house to fix the problem. He was very respectful and professional he came prepare to work and helping us stay save in this hard times due to COVID wearing his mask as well as wearing covers for shoes taking them off and on as he walk in and out of the house also wearing gloves at all times. He came and took his time to see what the problems was answer our questions with no problem he was nice and respectful and explained everything to us patiently since my dad only speaks Spanish. I've had quite a few trades in my home and these guys just rocked all of them! We had a leak coming from the near the furnace . Arnold quickly determined that the problem was a pipe that was clogged that ran from the nearby bathroom towards the furnace. He unclogged the pipe and also informed me that the PVC pipe that fed from the furnace had been installed incorrectly and gave me some options to consider going forward.Arnold was prompt, friendly, and did his work quickly and efficiently . NexGen got us on schedule quickly. Our HVAC Tech David T. was thorough, informative and knowledgeable. After diagnosing the problem, he gave us a couple solutions with realistic expectations. Throughout the repair process he explained everything in terms I could understand and educated me on the health of our furnace. His customer service exceeded my expectations and I will be using NexGen in the future.

Chris from Nexgen came over to look at our furnace that was making excessive noise. He was very pleasant and courteous. He discovered the problem quickly and provided additional advice on our furnace and AC without being pushy for a sale, like I have experienced with other HVAC techs. On a recommendation I used them, first to replace a leaking water heater. They said all my plumbing (pipes) were old, so did I want to repipe the entire duplex?? I agreed since it needed it. Then they said not just my mainwaterline (intake) needed replaced but my entire Sewer line to the street. Again I agreed because none of it was updated. I would have been ok, but I had one faucet to replace in th kitchen and when I came with my own plumber for the small job that they wanted $3500 to do I found when we opened the wall they had (against code) attached copper to galvanize pipes. MAJOR violation. Also because I was not there over seeing the job, we discovered they failed to finish proper instalation of the water heater, parts were missing and done improperly. Thank goodness I had my own guy to see those horrible problems, but unfortunately I have no idea what things I didn't find. They skimp and cheat and don't do work to code...DON'T EVER USE OR TRUST THEM..

This is going to sound like a sales pitch but it is 100% my honest experience with Nexgen. Roger Cuadra was the epitome of a professional and honest service worker. I was nervous that it was going to cost a fortune because I know nothing about ac systems. But he was very honest and informative about everything he was doing. He was incredibly thorough, and took the time to tell me everything about the system I had. He wore a mask, shoe coverings and wiped down after he was done with everything. Roger gave me tips to keeping my system going until we upgrade and was very considerate of our circumstances financially in recommending what our next steps were. I really couldn't have had a better experience. He was also really nice to my daughter! I need additional ac service scheduled moving forward and I only want Roger to do it. Thanks again Roger.

We recently had to have our entire AC system replaced and knew of a neighbor who had used Nexgen for their new system. Within a matter of minutes of filling out the online form late at night, we had a guarantee appointment the next morning. Chris Shay was our technician that morning and from the very first minute he was super professional and explained everything up front. From start to finish, each part of the removal of the old system, installation and clean up, Chris and his crew were fantastic. They even made sure to help with contacting our HOA about the portion of the line that had to run outside on the wall and verified that all the work that was completed was done properly for our CCR's. The office staff is also very professional and each time I have placed a call, whether it to be to make an appointment or to check on financing, I have never been disappointed. I am so glad we found Nexgen and we will continue to use them for regular service calls and we would highly recommend to anyone who asks.

I called NexGen for a slab leak detection at our townhome. I wanted a reliable company in Orange County with excellent reviews. From my first call with Kelly, I felt that this was a professional company. I got an appointment the next day. Jessie Rodriguez and Lucas Novak came the next morning on time and we’re very clean and professional. They did an electronic leak detection, found the slab leak, and did a reroute job through the walls and did not have to break any of my floor tiles. They gave me a fair price and did a very good job. We are very pleased with their work. I would highly recommend them and use NexGen again in the future.

NexGen is a wonderful company that services all plumbing, heating, and AC needs! For the past 2 years, we have purchased a maintenance membership package. This 1 year membership deal includes water heater flushing/inspection, AC system inspection and servicing as well as a heater servicing. They literally cleaned our entire system! Additionally, they will come out at any time during the 12 months for a FREE inspection of any issue you may have. Once the problem is identified, they will present you with all the options of how to best proceed. All our technicians have been respectful and considerate of our needs. NOTE: When they do come out, technicians will sit down with you and offer any upgrades/systems they provide, but if you say, no thank you, they do not pressure you in any way. I was so pleased with this company that I decided to renew my membership for an additional year.A special shout out to AC tech Noah, and Plumber Peter! They came out on Veteran's day to service both the AC and flush the water heater system. They were both attentive, explained everything about the systems and how to get the most use out of each. Noah even had pictures and a video he created from the attic! Another special shout out to Manager Manny for helping us with some AC needs! All 3 of these guys are awesome!!!

Gave these guys a call at about 3 PM and by 5 PM the same day they sent over a technician already. The technician Adrian asked a few questions about the problem and after I directed him to where the AC unit was at he said to give him about 30 to 40 minutes to diagnose the problem as we have, intermittent call Air coming from our HVAC unit at our commercial space in about 25 minutes. He came and told me the issue and was very thorough and clear on what the problem was and the solution. As our HVAC unit issue was more complicated. It is quite costly to fix so we haven’t decided if we are going to fix it yet, but I like how they gave us a very detailed quotation on a few different ways to fix the problem as well as different person structures. I also asked them about preventive maintenance services and I think we will probably go without option For our second HVAC unit. Thanks again Adrian from Nextgen.

Sometimes we as humans don’t realize how important our daily appliances is to us until they break down that’s what happened to me in the mist of this heat wave my A/C broke down. In September 2019 I contacted NexGen for an annual service call. The technicians arrived within the specified time and efficiently did their job. When they were finished they shared with me some potential problems I might anticipate in the future as my system was approaching 30 years of use. They also explained to me the energy savings benefits of the newer systems and how I would be able to run my A/C without fearing an enormous electricity bill. I opted to replace my system with the exception of an attic heater that had been replaced ten years earlier. They were here the next day and completed the work in a very professional manner and true to their word I was able to run my A/C during our hot 2020 summer without going bankrupt. They just came out for another service tune up and brought to my attention some issues with my attic heater that I was able to see myself. In addition to replacing the heater I also decided to have them rework my air ducts because of poor air distribution in our spare bedrooms. A team was here that afternoon to take out the old equipment and another team arrived on Saturday to install the new system. I now have a very quiet system and plenty of airflow into my spare rooms. Their staff was very respectful of our home, polite and efficient. I would highly recommend NexGen to anyone considering repairing or upgrading their HVAC system. Thanks

I had two bathroom sink drains and one bathroom shower drain that were clogged. NexGen had someone out the day after I called. He was on time, discovered the problem, and fixed all the drains in 30 minutes. I thought the price was fair, considering that I thought I had a much bigger problem and was resigned to paying more to get it solved. This was a good experience, and I would use NexGen again if necessary.

We called NexGen for an A/C tune-up a few weeks ago and they sent Chris. Please note, our unit was working perfectly fine, it was just routine maintenance. Not sure exactly what he did but he messed up the unit and it stopped working shortly after. We called them to fix it and they sent another technician Jose. He informed us we needed to replace the capacitor and kickstart for $900. First of all, those parts cost <$100 so they charged us $800 for less than 1 hour of work and wanted the payment upfront. This service costs less than $500. They are dishonest with the prices and they would not admit they made a mistake with the first technician they sent and would not offer any sort of refund for destroying our unit. My family is in the HVAC industry and never have I worked with such crooks that overly inflate prices and take advantage of people like that. And they call themselves family-run. Do not call these people for service!!!

I called 4 companies including the original installer of the system which is labeled.Not one would even come out to take a look at this odd heating system called Hydro Thermal.NexGen was the only one who would come out and after taking a look they gave a thorough and honest review that has been very helpful in deciding on what to do. They even waived their mandatory fee that is charged to come out to the property.

Recently I had Michael A out to my home to help diagnose my old air conditioning system. This is a review of Nexgen Heating, Air Conditioning, and Plumbing. As a homeowner I impressed with the thoughtfulness, thoroughness, and care with which Ben T., the technician who came to my home. He was courteous and took the time to get to know me as a person and as a homeowner. Ben gave me the option to accompany him, step by step, on inspection of the HVAC system within my home and to go along and see what was happening on the roof. Next, he took pictures of each part that would need to be replaced soon or eventually, and demonstrated to me with his gadgets how each piece should be operating to keep the system healthy. I would recommend NexGen for any work in heartbeat. Our AC gave out in the middle of a heat wave, 95 degree weather. I had another company come out and he tried to charge us a lot to find a leak and keep in mind that he didn’t do anything. I called Nexgen and right away Patric the technician, very professional went to work assuring me that he will find the problem, and he found it within 20 - 30 mins. My condenser had a big leak. At this point Tim was called. Very professional and polite. He explain to me my options in detail and never once did I feel like he was trying to sell me something I didn’t need, like the other company. With the amazing vibe I got from Tim and Patrick I decided to go with a new AC and furnace system with all new ducking (I’ve been told before the ducking was in bad shape) and the crew! They were Amazing!!! Very professional. From the moment they got here they got to work! Very clean work, my attic looks amazing and the house has perfect air flow to every room in the house. they were very professional and cleaned up after them selfs every time (2 1/2 day job) I have to thank every single one of them Arturo, Delaney, Javier, Javier G, Patric and Tim this team is awesome! Overpriced, horrible customer service and never returns calls. Never shows up when they say they will. Took 4 months to get AC unit installed and approved by the city permit department. Plan on making multiple phone calls as they never call back or show up when they say they are going to . Unbelievable lack of professionalism. And now the heating doesn’t work. No way I will call them to have them fix the heating.
Your technician, Patrick Higgins showed up promptly on time, He was extremely courteous, professional appearance, got right to work inspecting our AC and the Furness. He checked out the outside AC compressor and condenser, wiring and disconnect.Patrick even gave us a tip about setting our room vents in a more efficient way then directing the cool air flow up toward the ceiling.Overall it was a very nice experience. The condensation line of our HVAC unit was disconnected and leaking water onto our ceiling. (This occurred because the previous HVAC technician who worked in our unit did not glue it properly and had ductwork laying on the line, which caused it to disconnect.) We immediately called NexGen, and they provided me with an appointment slot within four hours of my call. David T. responded to the service request. He was friendly, reliable, and extremely knowledgeable. He fixed our issue within that visit, which put my anxieties at ease. We will definitely be calling NexGen for ALL of our future HVAC needs!
Art from Nexgen Anaheim was really awesome! I don't usually write a review but after 3 months and 4 HVAC companies, Art was the only one who could figure out and resolve the airflow problem actually within 5 minutes he walked into the door.My problem was that airflow was strong in bedroom but no airflow in living room, all these other companies cannot resolve or figure out the issue. Art came in and explained how airflow worked, adjusted it from the unit, helped to check the system and coil, and reseal the unit. He made sure everything worked before he left.The whole visit was only 15 mins and he resolved the issue 4 others companies cannot resolved in 3 months. I called NexGen to check out my A/C before summer. David T called ahead, arrived earlier than expected. Asked if he wanted me to wear a mask even though vaccinated for my comfort. Wore shoe covers to not track anything into my home. He went through my system with a fine tooth comb (his words). Gave me repair & improvement options to keep me going, all covered throughout the hot season. Gave me his work number in case I had any further questions or concerns. Friendly neighborhood HVAC Tech (ha, like Spider-man).
Andrew arrived early, quickly diagnosed and repaired the system. He clearly explained what he was doing and the issue he found. We have had excellent experiences with Nexgen in Anaheim and highly recommend them.

I called NexGen Air on Monday morning based on a personal referral from a contractor my family has used for decades. My existing 10-year old Rheem system was due for replacement, and here in southern California at $10/therm for gas and $0.19/kWh for power I will save money on my monthly utility bill vs. gas heating and less efficient cooling by upgrading to efficient 16 SEER all-electric units. Monday afternoon, Charlie came out and was very helpful in ensuring that I ordered the right system for my needs at a fair price. By 3:30 Tuesday afternoon, thanks to the professionalism of my all-star install team of Juan, Marco, Gonzalo & Joaquin I had a new set of two extremely efficient all-electric heat pump package units on my roof, and two new Honeywell Wifi thermostats installed. The team was efficient, answered all my questions and left my roof cleaner than when they got there. Thanks to the entire NexGen Air team for a very smooth experience!

They started with an inspection of my heating and air conditioning. I thought I only neededroutine maintenance. Turns out my 26 year old heater and air conditioning system needed to be replaced. They sent an excellent project manager to get everything started.Over a period of 3 days my system was installed. The crew was very professional.I highly recommend this company.
I messaged a whole bunch of companies through Yelp, & Nexgenair got back to me right away to make an appointment for a free estimate. The technician came out the next day to check out our ducts, & he did a real thorough job. We've all been having bad allergies, & he found the problem. He taped up the hole that was probably bringing in dust from our attic. It's a temporary solution for the meantime, but he did it for free along with our free diagnostic. Amazing! He also found out why the air wasn't going to one of the rooms. He gave us a reasonable quote for new air ducts, since ours are old and in really bad shape. We'll have to think about it, but I didn't feel pressured at all. If money wasn't an issue, we'd hire them right away just for being so professional & honest. Thank you so much!

These guys have gone DOWN HILL fast. They are no longer reliable, professional, or competitive.We had some plumbing work done weeks ago and have been struggling waiting for the project to be completed.Avoid these guys if at all possible.

Our poor 35-year-old heater went out shortly after Christmas and the Nexgen team promptly responded to our service request.The tech Max Lopez arrived early (!!!) and shared his honest diagnosis...it would be a challenge finding a circuit board for a unit that old and it may or may not have resolved the issue. He was willing to replace the board if we wanted to take a chance and also referred us to a Project Manager to discuss options for replacement units.Our Project Manager Dennis Rulli immediately sprang into action to help guide us through a full climate control replacement. Our A/C and heater were both ancient so it made sense to upgrade both units. Dennis scheduled the install team for the very next day.My husband and I are sorry we didn't get the names of the install techs but we are equally impressed with their service. Their work was fast and clean.We highly recommend Nexgen's professional and quality service. You won't regret your decision to work with them, whether it be a minor repair or complete climate control replacement!

I recently got a Daikin mini split system installed with NexGen this included one ceiling cassette and two wall units. Going with NexGen was a huge mistake. The whole installation process which is yet to be completed after 3 months and 10+ visits has been frustrating and inconvenient!The salesperson was Ashton. We told him from the very beginning the aesthetics were important and that we wanted a smart system that we can control with one thermostat. He promised that with the new Daikin mini split system we would be getting those features. That has not been the case. The thermostat does not function properly. It continuously overcools/heats past any set desired temperature. We are also not able to control the other wall units with the thermostat. We have gone back and forth with the office. They have sent techs to check on the units and we have only received conflicting information. It is clear that NexGen does not know how to use the Daikin system that they are selling and installing. We have even reached out to Daikin customer support and were told that what we were promised sounds like the VRV system but NexGen installed a regular minisplit system!!!During the installation process NexGen damaged an asbestos pipe that ran from the attic to crawlspace in my home. I reached out to inform them and they agreed to send a subcontractor to remove the pipe. The subcontractor was completely unprofessional. He was careless and damaged the pipe even more by breaking it into smaller pieces and carried the asbestos pipe using no protection. I just recently found pieces of broken asbestos pipe in my crawlspace! This is ridiculous and hazardous on so many levels.We agreed to go with NexGen and paid a premium expecting to have a smooth experience. What we have received is no where near!

Brian gave me excellent customer service on my wall heater. He listened to my concern andfollowed a step by step process to solve the problem. He definitely went the extra mile and put me at ease to rule out the possibility of a safety issue. I manage an apartment complex in Ontario and will continue to call Nexgen and Brian with confidence.
I was very impressed with this company. They responded the same day that I called. A bathroom heater in one of our rental properties was not working. Difficult to find someone who will repair these. The technician, Anthony was fabulous. He called me, as the home owner to check before he went out. He then called my renters and set up an appointment with them. He made it so easy for us, since we live some distance from the property. The wall heater was very old and we figured it would have to be replaced. Anthony repaired the old heater and all we paid for was a service call. Hard to find companies as good as this!

We noticed a leak in our kitchen so I called NexGen to take a look and I’m thankful I did. Jesse V was the plumber assigned to our call and he was awesome. He was super thorough during his inspection, and fixed the leak quickly so no further damage was done to our property. Jesse also had a lot of experience and gave us recommendations on how we could help extend the life of our pipes and appliances as well as reduce the risk of similar issues down the road which I really appreciated. Will definitely be using NexGen again and would highly recommend!

Best experience we have ever had with a HVAC & Plumbing company! Orlando was amazing.Our water heater broke and needed a new one. My wife and I called around and got different quotes. Many of the initial quotes for diagnostics were very high. We decided on NexGen based on value and reviews (They did not disappoint). We spoke to Maria at the office, and she connected us to Orlando Guillen. He arrived to diagnose the issue and after calling around for parts, he explained that it would be more cost effective to install a new water heater. He explained everything in such detail and was very knowledgeable, we were confident in our decision.Not only was the customer service fantastic, but he also installed our new water heater that same day! I purchase a entire new unit from next gen my units that I purchased from them approximately one year ago has not been running sufficiently since the moment I got it I've been getting a runaround from dispatch workers managers technicians about why my unit is not running sufficiently yes they do come out and reset the unit but in 2 days it goes right back out again I've been dealing with this now for a year since I got this unit was always an issue with someone scheduling to come out to my house I personally have had a tremendously horrible experience with this company I do not recommend this company to no one I think they're all a bunch of liars and they don't even stand by their product . Our water heater went out one evening. NexGen had serviced our HVAC system so I got online to see if they service water heaters. I found they did and I was able to make an appointment online for the next morning. Oralndo was on time, friendly, and professional. He inspected the water heater and provided us several options. Due to the age of our existing system we opted to replace with a new tankless system. By 6:30 that night our hot water was restored! Thank you Orlando and NexGen!

I would definitely recommend this company based upon my experience so far with them. I've been calling around trying to get quotes from 3 different companies and Nexgen was the best one by far. Their customer service was excellent and the woman who took my call was so helpful that she said they would not make us pay the quote fee if we showed a quote from a competitor that we had done recently. They also said that they have very competitive prices and she voluntarily sent out a senior technician, Jeff. One meeting Jeff, he went above and beyond in service and I am looking forward to using them for the job.
If you have money to flush down the toilet, literally, call NexGen HVAC & Plumbing. I had them go to my home in La Quinta to check on a toilet that was leaking. When they thought it needed to be reset and resealed, their fee was going to be $480, yes, you read that correct. I called a FPS Plumbing, who has previously done work on my house, and there fee is $185. Turns out there was a crack in the toilet, and the estimate from NextGen was $903.95, for a toilet, a basic toilet. I called FPS Plumbing and they charge $380. NEXTGEN HVAC & PLUMBING is on average 2.5x more expensive than other companies, in my experience. Call someone else.

RipoffWe've been having issues with our AC not cooling properly so we had a service call with NextGen a week ago saying there's a leak and here's how much is will cost just for parts to diagnose where the leak is and fill the AC with refrigerant.Overcharge to the max. Here is a break down of what they charge to what it actually cost. This does not include labor.R410a refrigerant 10lb - NextGen cost: $1,600 | ebay cost: $274Easyseal - NextGen cost $500 - Amazon: Under $100Replacing AC unit - NextGen cost: At least $20k | via Google search Anywhere from 5k - 12kThey try to take advantage of people who knows nothing about AC. After finding how much they overcharge, now I'm thinking whether my AC is even leaking at all and is probably just a simple fix, I will be getting a second opinion.I asked a few HVAC experts on reddit and apparently the Easyseal is not even recommended/necessary to find a leak and could have just used a nitrogen compresser with soap!

I had a great experience from beginning to end. From the time I called for service to the completion of the service appointment, the office staff and technicians were all very courteous. The office staff called to confirm my appointment and gave me a very accurate time of arrival. The installation crew arrived like clockwork. The technician, Art, arrived on time and was 100% professional. He patiently and thoroughly explained exactly what he was going to do and he even showed me the results of the tests he performed on the sophisticated electronic device he uses. He quickly identified the problem and both he and his manager, Ryan, explained everything to me without ever losing their patience no matter how many questions I asked. I felt completely informed and respected. It was immediately clear to me that this company is focused on customer service, accuracy and efficiency, which, after shopping around, I am 100 percent sure is the reason why they were able to give me the great deal I got on a complete system replacement. You are in safe hands with Nexgen Plumbing. We had an emergency where water was leaking from the wall of one bathroom and the sound of rushing water could be heard underneath the tub of another. We contacted Nexgen Plumbing and they were able to send a crew out the next day to properly diagnose the issue. They did not have to tear up everything to identify the source of the leak but used advanced tools to locate the manifold and make minimal openings in the wall to identify the problem. Ultimately, we decided to have all of the plumbing redone, going from copper to PEX piping, and to have a new water heater installed. They completed the job in two days and we now have peace of mind and have added much greater value to our home than existed previously. The crew was professional, knowledgeable, capable, and were able to clean up well after themselves. Further, they went above and beyond to get us new shower heads and make things better than they found them. We only need to get permanent replacements for the areas they created openings, but that should not be difficult, and they already provided temporary patches where needed. This was a major project, but we have no regrets trusting Nexgen Plumbing. If we ever need to, we will rely upon them again without any hesitation! A shout out to the most amazing group of workers: Christopher, Alphonso, Jose, and Danny of the Plumbing Department based out of Anaheim. They were attentive, communicated well, were very knowledgeable, and did the best job I could imagine. They deserve credit for a job very well done. I give Nexgen Plumbing and these plumbers my highest rating! Thanks, guys!
We've been having ongoing issues with our AC since last year. Different people have come to our house to tinker with our AC without success. It felt like a lot of guesswork and there was no transparency.Then, we met Carlos from NexGen. He came to our house and explained the issue with our AC in a way that we could really understand. He thoughtfully answered our questions and made us feel comfortable with his recommendation. We're still figuring things out with our system (it's improved but not 100% fixed yet), and Carlos has been super responsive to my questions via text and phone call. He's even come back twice to fine-tune some adjustments. I have used Nexgen twice now. The first time was a plumbing issue. Joe was wonderful. He showed up on time and did a very thorough job. I didn’t need to call them back.This time I called because the heater in my mother’s house wasn’t working. My mother is 86 years old and has been freezing at night. They made arrangements to come out the very next day. Jeff came and showed me why the 10 year old heater would not be safe. He spent a lot of time with us trying to give us the best price he could. I couldn’t be happier with Jeff and Nexgen. Jeff came today, and they are installing the new heater today! Thank you Nexgen and Jeff!

We had a 6mo service/check up done by a young man by the name of Robbie and he was on time and so pleasant and helpful from the time he got here and the time he left. He addressed all of our concerns, even crawled under our house to make sure the ductwork was good, Which was one of our concerns. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! We spent 25k on a massive home project to install new AC and Heat pump. We were misled by the sales person Tim Eagleston who did a poor job of explaining the AC unit and it's functionality to us. He also sold us a unit that is primarily used for Commercial properties. Since the day the unit was installed, we have expressed that we are not satisfied with the product and it is not a good fit for our 2 story residential home. I've called their customer service repeatedly since mid September to get a resolution. They continue to send service people out who tell us the same thing every time which is I'm not sure why you were sold this unit, it's usually for commercial properties and why did you convert your outdoor units from 2 to 1? your home was built with 2 for a reason. After calling repeatedly I'm told each time someone is going to call me back the same day. It's been weeks and no one will call me back. Tim our sales guy has also stopped responding to me and we feel like we've been absolutely scammed and ripped off. I do not recommend using this company for any projects in your home HVAC or Plumbing related.

Took advantage of NexGens online special of $88 for drain cleaning. I had a backed up kitchen sink that needed fixing and NexGen was able to get to me the same day and within a couple hours. Service was fast and efficient. Price was great compared to other plumbing companies that wanted to charge up to $220 to snake a drain.

My husband and I were having some issues/clogging in our bathroom. NexGen sent over David Dela Rosa to help us and he did an exceptional job. My husband and I don't know anything about plumbing but David was very professional, seemed very knowledgeable, and we didn't feel like we were charged for unnecessary work or parts. David fixed our problem quickly and efficiently we will be calling for him specifically for any other plumbing issues in the future, ( though we hope we don't have any more any time soon ).

Nexgen was excellent. The service was prompt, Honest and on time. The Technician PATRICK, even called to see if he could come early to my tenants home. I was expecting a costly repair, but the technician called back 45 min later and told me that it was only a fuse and did not feel right about charging me. Such excellent & honest service is unusual and greatly appreciated I would highly recommend their service and will definitely use and recommend their service in the future

TECHNICIAN UPSET MY WIFE TO TEARS.Let me start by saying we purchased our HVAC system from NexGen.My wife scheduled online for a filter and system check. Tech David arrived for service (I was at work). He advised / suggested a compressor saver for $375.00 installed. My wife said she would think about it. Tech responded may I ask why?. She responded that she wanted to discuss it with my husband. She looked up the item on Amazon, approximately $50 for the compressor saver. She asked why is was so expensive? His response let me ask you, do you work for free?.He also politely shamed her on how dirty the filter was. He then gave her an un-invited analogy. She wanted him gone but was uncomfortable to actually say something. We spoke on the after the tech left. I called the Ontario office phone number from their website since we live in Chino Hills. Phone was forwarded to Anaheim office. I explained to the very nice young lady what had happened. She consulted with folks in the office and then told me she would send an email to the Field Supervisor Marcus along with my phone number. Marcus did call me but I did not answer as I was speaking with my wife who was still upset. I called Marcus the next day, identified / introduced myself. He replied sounding like he knew who I was. I asked if he spoke with his tech. He said he did and asked if he could call me right back, which I agreed. It is now over a week later AND STILL NO CALL from Marcus!It seems pretty clear that NexGen does not care about how their techs treat their customers.I indicated at the beginning that our HVAC system was purchased from NexGen. The purchase from the savvy salesperson, (that came to our home from the Anaheim location), said he would include the first two services and replacement filters with the system. However since he did not write that on his proposal / sales invoice it was not honored. Buyer beware!It seems like NexGen is more interested in advertising then their customers.No interest speaking to Marcus! He has proven this is not important to him / he does not care!! Not interested in hearing his excuses!!!UPDATEReceived call from GM Zach on 8/2. He listened, was attentive, apologetic and did not stop the conversation to ask if he could call me back. He offered to send out his best tech to perform the work again. He was understanding when I told him I would need to discuss it with my wife; not sure if she wanted NexGen back in the house. She called Zach 8/3 and after short conversation agreed to have Christian to the house.Christian was very professional, he performed all the items in the system check / tune-up process. Each conversation / interaction was pleasant and she never felt intimidated or spoken down to.Sounds like Christian can share some best practices with his fellow techs (my opinion).The visit was completely opposite of the service call by David. Updating rating to 4 stars.Thank you to Zach and Christian.

So my story started last week when our office AC broke 😩🥵. I called an AC company I won’t mention the name, I believe in Karma! The first representative came out with his muscles flexing and southern accent and stated that he will diagnose the situation and will go from there. Well, 10 minutes later he came down from the roof and stated…” you definitely need a new unit and for 11,900 i can get you up and running. My response was….Ummmm okay well…. Let me get another quote and i will get back to you.His response was…”Why!?”My response …. “okay, have a great day”. And i walked away. 😒Well, still with no AC 🥺 i then called NexGen Air. OMG 😃 I am so happy I did. The gal who set up my appointment was so nice and we were able to have a service call the next day.Well here is where my 5 Star review starts 🤩 My technicians name was Roger , AMAZING!! He is sooo nice! I explained to him the situation he then ventured to the roof top and spent 1HOUR in his diagnostic review. That alone was impressive. The first guy was 10 minutes 😡🤬 Anyway Roger gave me an honest diagnosis and stated that he can fix the problem and that my compressor is not broken! The first guy told me it was broken 😠. Roger said “I can fix it” music to my ears 😁😁😁😁 hurray 🎉 yes he did. We now have AC , ROGER we love you 🎉🎉🎉 He explained in full detail what is needed and what he did. He took pictures and a video. Who does that?…. Nexgen Air does 🥰 I loved his professionalism. Roger, you will forever be our AC technician! What a great person. I have to give props to the owners of this company they made a great choice in hiring Roger and an amazing job in training him. I believe customer service is a trait that people obtain with experience and Roger has AMAZING customer service. We are very blessed to have Roger walk into our office and help our work days be happier. I believe in getting quotes and seeing what your options are and I am so happy and feel very relieved with the choice I made.

Excellent, quick acting, and responsive! I had my HVAC and water heater replaced, which they offered financing for, both times the teams were polite, wore booties over their work boots, and provided an explanation of the process. Ashton was our POC and he went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the products and teams each time. Give the man a raise!UPDATE: 2/17 since the system was installed, we’ve had the unit inspected and were expecting an energy efficiency certification to come soon after. It’s been a year and a few months and we still haven’t received anything. My partner and I have been calling for the past two weeks trying to get a hold of someone and no one has called us back with any information. At this point we’re getting the runaround from the company. Without the certification, I’m not able to claim it on my taxes or get any credits back on the money I spent.Update: 5/11 since leaving poor reviews about the lack of helpfulness and knowledge of the certification from their staff, the president of NexGen, Bill, reached out to help me. Within 3 days I had my certification, all because he had to submit a similar doc for his taxes as well. Very quick acting on his part and helped me save money. I just don’t understand why it had to escalate before anyone would help me.

Patrick was amazing! He was prompt, responsive and honest. My elderly mother has a rental property and the tenants were having issues with the heating system. I got a quote of $2,000 from another dishonest company. Patrick went out the same day I called and was professional and transparent throughout the entire process. He went out and quickly fixed the problem. He explained exactly what was wrong and fixed it immediately. He didn’t even charge us beyond the diagnostic fee bc it was a simple fix that another company wanted $2,000 for! I was on a maintenance plan with nexgen and the most recent tech came out and said wrong filters were installed and poor maintenance on unit, when I told him his company did the maintenance, his excuse was their employee who did the maintenance was fired. My Ac unit was on and working and after he left my unit stopped working after he left.

I really wanted to give this company 5 stars because the plumbers were so nice, but I can’t because the job was done wrong the first time out. Had the last plumber that fixed the issue, Rigo come out originally, I would have given them a 5. If you hire them, better hope Rigo is the one that does the job.

Easy to make an appointment and almost next day. The tech who arrived, Manny, was excellent. Was extremely thorough in checking everything and explained every single detail of the process. Hands down best AC tech and will be the only person I want to service my system. We’ve had some issues with the air conditioning performance in our home, so my parents referred us to Nexgen. They used Nexgen last year to replace their heating and air conditioning unit, and have just raved about Nexgen ever since. Today we met James. James was wonderful to work with!! He took the time to inspect the airflow and our duct system. After his inspection, we discussed our current system and what our options were. James took the time to make a personal connection, and even talked to and played with my 22 month old twins after they woke up from their nap. It was the most pleasant and easygoing experience I’ve had with any type of service call. I’m so happy to have found them, and would recommend Nexgen, as well as James to anyone that is in need of heating and air conditioning services or repair.

Their customer service is amazing .... made the appointment, received a reminder call, then a call telling me the exact arrival time..... sooooo much better for my busy life knowing when they will arrive within the appointment window! I have used them for my AC and HEATING as well. Very honest, competitively priced and trustworthy! Also, just found out they do PLUMBING as well..... Noah(from the Fontana nexgen) impressed me from the second he entered our home. My HVAC has had several problems for years now. Noah walked me through his entire diagnostic of my HVAC and I learned more from him in 5 minutes than I ever did using other companies in the past 2 years. Then he asked about my furnace. No other co pant asked about that. He crawled up in the attic and walked me through everything he was looking at while up there. He encouraged me to watch everything he did and it made me feel comfortable with what was going on. I learned how old my system is and all the problems I need to fix in its entirety. The tech did show up and got the AC working was very knowledgeable about what he was doing. Was told I would be sent a receipt. Never was sent one had to ask multiple times for one. Asked about warranty on the work performed got no answer after multiple emails and phone calls. Was told they would call me back in two weeks to schedule a follow up visit. Two weeks has pasted with no call back to schedule a fallow up visit. This is just my experience and everyone’s will be different.Edit- one thing I forgot to put was NexGen charged me $160 per pound for refrigerant. Called around after a week of them being here to find out their competition charges $90 a pound for refrigerant. 🤷🏼♂️

I have nothing but great stuff to say about Sal and Nexgen. From everybody on the phone to the service and follow up, I was pleasantly surprised on how well everything went. The phone operators were complete professionals, nice, courteous, thoughtful, thorough and most importantly helpful! They explained everything I should be expecting from an appointment standpoint, letting me know that my appointment block was set but if an earlier appointment becomes available they would let me know. The technician Sal called me early and asked if it was cool if he came by earlier which of course I was totally excited about. Once Sal got to my house he diagnosed the problem right away, gave me different options and what they would all cost, he wasn't pushy or aggressive or anything like that. He had my AC all fixed up in no time. He also took the time to show me how I should have my vents pointed, how to use the thermometer correctly as far as programming goes and even made recommendations for products he wasn't selling. All in all Sal was a great guy, very relatable and honest. The follow up was great as well, a week later I had some billing concerns and Sal was responsive and above and beyond helpful with all of my questions, got me in touch with the office and we were able to work everything all out just as I hoped. 5 stars isn't a high enough rating for these guys. Call them and ask for Sal to be your tech and you will be happy.

Nextgen Air Conditioning deserves 5 stars for their professionalism - they called me a day before to confirm my appointment; their technician (Roy) called me the morning of my appointment to confirm when he would arrive; he arrived ahead of time; was courteous and well-prepared for the diagnostic examination of my A/C air handler unit and at the end of the examination, was honest in telling me that I had a bad fan motor that would need a replacement from the air handler installer. His work ethic was so good that he did not even charge me for the diagnostic (because he said he could not fix the unit). I was very impressed with Roy's conduct and would not hesitate to recommend Nextgen Air Conditioning to my friends.
Jason. Lopez came out and was amazing. He solved out problem quickly, professionally and efficiently. I would definitely recommend Nexgen for any Hvac or plumbing needs. Real life saver I have had issues with repair technicians being dishonest and trying to take advantage of my old age. Jason solved my problem and didn't even charge me... wow! Shawn returned my phone call with absolute professionalism and was knowledgeable with the problem I had with my recalled furnace in the attic. I met with Mr. Pigeon for the free estimate and options, and he offered me the best deal out there with plenty of extra savings! Made the deal and the installation was scheduled to be done the next morning. The installation team, Mario, Simon, and Arturo showed up on time and were ready to work! They did such an amazing job with the removal and replacement of my old furnace in the attic and condenser located on the side of the house. They did such an amazing job in the attic that it now looks absolutely brand new up there! They left absolutely not a piece of trash after they completed all the work. We purchased our system from Nexgen about three years ago. I was impressed by them then and am still so now (cost, installation labor and support). The two minor issues we've had (minor leaks - all under warranty) were immediately addressed by friendly, professional technicians. Joe serviced us this go around and was thoroughly experienced in troubleshooting the condition and fixed it after diagnosing the entire system. Seeing him work with the latest tools of the trade was enlightening. The wife is happy the air conditioning is back to its great performance levels and was happy during the winter time with the whole house heating. Nexgen Rocks!!!

When we moved into a new house, the existing HVAC system failed. Without inspecting our home or pursuing appropriate permits, NexGen recommended and replaced the existing system with a similarly sized one. In the 3 years since NexGen installed our system, it has experienced multiple failures. According to two independent HVAC assessments as well as NexGen's own techs, the system will continue to fail for the following reasons: 1) NexGen did not recommend and install an HVAC unit that is compatible with our house. Replacing the existing system with a similarly sized one is not performing work up to industry standards. 2) NexGen did not attempt to permit the new unit, nor did they inspect the existing ductwork prior to the install. They failed to ensure the duct work was in good condition and compatible with the new unit. They failed to check that joints were sealed and that ducts were proper diameters/lengths to ensure proper airflow compatible with the unit. 3) NexGen should not have installed the new HVAC unit in the same location as the old unit. They should have known that the current location does not provide adequate air-flow.The lack of due diligence and performing work according to industry standards has resulted in several problems. Problem #1: Immediately after the installation, a 15 degree temperature difference between the floors was noticed. When contacted, NexGen explained that the ducts to the upper floor are too long to provide cool air to the upper floor. The tech recommended a ductless mini-split air conditioner. I complained that if the ducts are too long and a mini-split was necessary to cool the house, then a single unit should not have been recommended and installed. Mr. Valdez responded that we need to cut drywall and enlarge the duct to the upstairs to get more airflow... . I insisted that they inspect our ducts in the crawl space. The tech discovered a primary duct entirely disconnected. He sealed it (though it continues to come apart) and the temperature difference between floors diminished, though not completely. The air flow to the upper floor remains severely restricted. In fact, the office on the upper floor has absolutely no air flow. Problem #2: On August 7, 2021, the unit stopped cooling. NexGen explained that a capacitor broke and they replaced it. Problem #3: On October 26, 2021, the system completely shut itself off. A NexGen tech explained that we needed a new expansion valve/metering device. It wasn't until November 19, 2021, that a tech made the replacement. The NexGen tech explained that the system was overworking itself and therefore had a limited lifetime. He explained that the pressure coefficient should not exceed 0.3 but that he measured 0.7. He explained that there were multiple reasons for this: The existing ducts are improper diameters, causing a build-up of pressure; The location of the outside unit does not allow for adequate airflow; A single unit of this capacity is not appropriate to provide the desired comfort. He also said that, ideally, this house would operate best with a mini-split or two systems (one for the upper floor and one for the lower floor). Due to the system overworking itself, the tech recommended a custom-made air deflector on the outdoor unit to improve air flow and recommended a full system duct replacement. I couldn't get a second opinion because NexGen didn't pull a permit and other companies were concerned about liability. I pressed NexGen to pull a permit which they did in December 2021. NexGen hired a HERS inspector that did not perform 2 of the 3 required tests, fabricating results to get the system permitted.To avoid court proceedings, we took part in mediation via the CSLB and reached a settlement agreement. However, NexGen sent a settlement agreement/release outside of mediation that made multiple demands that were not agreed to during mediation, including an illegal demand.

My wife and I had a disappointing experience with this company and I would not recommend them to anyone! After receiving a quote and agreeing for them to do some work my wife and I weren't 100% comfortable with the price so we decided to talk it over with family and friends. We, along with others in the industry, determined that the price was a total rip off and they were trying to take advantage of us. I admit we should of done our homework before hand but given the recent heat wave we were in a hurry! After getting several more quotes that were all significantly lower (50% less) my wife and I went with another company.That's not even the worse part. The two technicians took a piece of our furnace with them and they threw it away! Our furnace wasn't even the problem! According to the other vendors that is a big no-no and they it basically forced us into getting a new system.If you have extra money to blow then sure go for it. But I promise you can find cheaper and better options!

What a lovely experience from start to finish. Although Nexgen ended up not doing anything for our home they were wonderful to deal with. I had up to date information about when to expect our technician and as the window for his arrival was coming to a close, I got a phone call apologizing and giving me the new ETA because their guy's previous job ran later than expected.When George finally arrived at the newly promised time, he was very professional and more importantly super honest with us. We wanted a new thermostat but he flat out said it won't work with our HVAC system. He gave us options to consider but never made the visit a sales, which we really appreciated.Now that this experience is over and we contemplate a redo of our HVAC system, we pretty much know who to call.
Jason was great. He called to let us know when he was on his way. He even asked about the issues we were having so that he could get right to work when he arrived. He was professional, courteous, and explained everything that he was doing. I have used other HVAC companies, and will definitely be calling NexGen again and asking for Jason.

I want to thank Noah for the outstanding and professional service he provided. He explained everything in detail and even displayed the air quality in our home. The air quality was reaching unbreathable limits due to the buildup of mold in the attic unit. He thoroughly cleaned the AC unit, blower, and evaporator coil. To top it off, Noah installed the iWave-R air purifier. The purifier kills mold, some viruses, and removes odors. Our house is now smelling like a brand new house and the air quality dropped to safe limits. I suggest you include the yearly membership, which has many benefits included. I so appreciate these people!!! I called James on a Thursday night when my AC decided it was done working for the evening… I was heading out of town and was concerned about the pets being in a hot house when I wasn’t home (yes, I have someone stopping to care for them). They were there the following day even though they had so many other clients to work in because of the heat. Roger showed up at 7:30pm on a Friday night which says a lot about the company. Instead of lecturing me on my dirty filters, he made me feel like I was human and just maybe switching them out had slipped my mind. He also didn’t try and sell me on anything, just informed me of the age(s) of parts of my system. Roger also made me aware of possible replacement in the near future and I will absolutely call when I’m ready.

Nexgen air came out Friday to check our hydronic hvac system. The tech, Patrick H. was very professional and honest. He was very knowledgeable about our old system and explained what could be causing the blockage of hot water to our system. Patrick showed me the key parts of the system and how to identify the issue. After inspecting our system he let us know that the water had once again made its way through the system and our heater would be working again. He also showed me where the release valve is in case we run in to the issue again. I will definitely be calling Nexgen for all my heating and air repairs in the future!

This business is dodgy. They sell expensive aircon units for them to only break down later so they can charge you in the thousands for repair. Please do your research before contacting them. There are multiple reviews on other sites that speak of the horrors this company has caused to homeowners who are vulnerable. A famous Tik Toker MiMi exposed these guys as being very dodgy and only fixing her unit without charge because she did a whole video about their scamming tactics. Thank goodness for her, she's helping others from going down this nightmare. She paid top range $30,000 for her unit only for it to stop working twice!I am posting this review to help others make an informed decision before engaging these guys for their services.

Had an issue with heater on the coldest day of the year (34 degrees). The breaker flipped on and off a couple of times. Got the repair tech, Robbie, out 2 days later on a Monday. The heater had started working again and Robbie troubleshot it to an electrical problem. He made future arrangements to have it fixed. Since it was intermittent, I’ll just have to hope that repair is done quickly as well. Thanks Robbie!
Quick shout out....Just had my yard drains cleared by NexGen Heating Air & Plumbing! Once again amazing service and a job well done! They bring this hydro blast water machine and it was amazing! I had four drains literally filled to the brim with gunk and mud. The last rains had caused flooding by my pool equipment and side yard because my drains were completely clogged. Now they are clean and a full blast garden hose turned on flows easily! Let the rains begin.... thanks to NexGen, I am ready!!

We worked with salesman James Joyce. After signing a contract for Financing, and paying half down for a $25k HVAC system, NexGen all of a sudden said we were no longer approved and threatened us. After I got our Attorney involved, NexGen changed their attitude. The workers were great, however the backend department were beyond horrible to work with. Would not recommend this company for your residential or commercial needs.

Per the recommendation of my real estate agent, I used NexGen last week for air conditioner diagnostics and repair. While the service was completed and the air conditioner now works, I was not happy with the communication at all - and I never got the $100 discount they were advertising on their website. I was told the tech would contact me before going to the property and I was to talk to him about the discount, but he never called and then my credit card was charged without my knowledge. I would expect that someone would call and let me know everything got done and they would charge the card. I also called the office twice afterwards and was told someone would contact me and make sure I get the promised discount. No one ever called. My real estate agent also called and left a message and never received a call back. So, this week I actually need a heater specialist, and we are definitely not going to use NexGen.

Had a leak from upstairs come down through our ceiling downstairs. Nextgen sent a couple guys out the very next morning. All three Jesse, Noah and Arron were very helpful and detailed in their work. We were asking a lot of questions and each of them seemed very knowledgeable.They also checked our water and showed us how high our chlorine levels were. We decided to move forward and buy filter for the house and it instantly was improving our water. We have 3 kids so this was something we truly appreciatedWe have nothing but good things to say about Nextgen and would 100% refer them to anyone needed help with their home. Major plus too was the option to pay monthly instead of paying a big bill upfront.
German was very professional and knowledgeable, I was really impressed with his explanations and advice. I feel much more prepared for what to expect with my AC system going forward and will definitely be calling Nexgen with any future AC issues or upgrades when we're ready.

My HVAC started blowing cold air. They told me it was probably my circuit board and wanted to start with that which would cost $1800. They Never sent me the bid or pictures. Today I had another company come out who put a meter to the board and it works perfect. My Motor/Fan is what is out. Im not sure if the Tech didn't know enough or if they were trying to trick me into making more repairs then needed. Be Aware

I had planned to have my garbage disposal replaced and bought the necessary parts. I contacted NexGen based on the recommendation of a friend. Jesse from the Anaheim location called and arrived ahead of schedule and tried to diagnosis the problem. After helping dislodge a cleaning brush from the dishwasher air gap and cleaning out the drainage pipes, Jesse discerned that the garbage disposal was not the problem, and I appreciated his honesty. However, the air gap still leaks whenever the dishwasher is run. Jesse was here a little more than an hour and was very helpful & patient. There was no charge for the time spent.Once the good quality air gap is delivered that I ordered this afternoon, I will be contacting NexGen again and requesting Jesse to come back as he is familiar with the situation.
Stay away from NexGen for wall furnace heating systems.After reading many positive reviews, I gave NexGen a try. It turned out to be a great disappointment.It's likely NexGen is a good choice for other services. Let me focus on my negative (often potentially dangerous) experiences with NexGen's product and services. The product: a Williams 50,000 BTU/hr model.For the services, NG first sent a member to estimate the required work and gave me a total cost (parts, labor, tax) of $4,394.00, which I paid immediately using my credit card.The job started at about 1:45 PM, 12/20/2022. Then the workers had to purchase materials at a local Home Depot, which took them >2 hours, saying the PO (purchase order) process took time. So, the actual work started around 4:30 PM, already getting dark here in Southern California. It took them another 5 hours to get the job “done” at about 9:30 PM. It was pitch dark outside and cold inside.During that span of 5 hours, the workers struggled with installing the unit. At times they even had to search for misplaced parts, including screws, etc. Once the unit was inserted into the wall, the technicians had problem with the wiring of the thermostat and had to call someone to explain the wiring.That took a while also. Finally, the system was set up. They started the furnace and told me to turn the thermostat to the highest degree to get the system going and then down to the desired setting.That night, the furnace was going at full blast. I could hear the metal parts inside making loud noises as they expand and contract. I felt the flame was burning at a much higher rate than my old wall furnace. It turned out my gut feeling was correct (see details later).Then, the system shut down early the next morning (12/21). I thought it shut down because the room temperature had reached the point set by the thermostat and did not think much of it. I just left for work.Home from work, I did not feel the need to turn on the heater right away. By the time I needed it, it would not turn on, even when I turned the thermostat to the highest (90 degrees Fahrenheit) as I was instructed to do. When I called the technician who installed the system and left his number for me to call for any issues, he said he could not come but would call me back. He never did. When I called him again, he did not answer. The office was closed at that late hour. I called NexGen the next morning and was told “you should’ve called us first.” So it was my fault calling their technician who asked me to call him if I had “any problems” with the heater.Without the brand new heater working, the room temperature went down to about 58 degrees. I felt miserable that night.NG finally sent two technicians the next afternoon and got the problem solved (I thought). It turned out that the original technician set the frame too high and the high heat triggered a sensor to shut down the system automatically. I felt lucky my house did not catch fire or burn down.Soon after the two technicians left, the system shut down again, and I smelled gas. I opened the bottom service door and noticed both the burner frame and the pilot light were out, but the gas was still going. I could smell it and hear the hissing. Right away I turned the gas control knob to “OFF” position, which I learned to do from using my old furnace. I called NG again and was told technicians would arrive between 4 and 6 PM. They arrived at about 5, troubleshot the system, and told me a wire came loose and dropped down the moment they opened the service door.I hope this time they have finally fixed the problem with the brand new furnace. However, I keep my fingers crossed, wondering if I can have an easier sleep tonight and if I may have to call NG again for other unexpected (or should I say, expected) problems using the brand new wall furnace they installed. Excellent Service. We called NexGen because our water heater broke down, we were able to make an appointment for the same day. Within hours Chris came by and inspected our water system, he made a through inspection and informed us of our options. From all options given we opted to buy a new system since replacing parts was literally a waste of money. By the end of the day, we had a new water heater... Thanks Chris and your amazing team!

Patrick did an amazing job! He installed a new transformer and did a great job at explaining what went bad, and what we needed to do moving forward. OMG we almost died. Our thermostat and heating system is old and could have really posed gas leakage issues. He was extremely personable and did what he could to make our experience great. Tech was here to perform the annual AC check up. He needs to spend more time doing the system check that I’m paying him to do and less time trying to sell me repairs and maintenance that I don’t need right now. I repeatedly told him that I’m not interested but he wouldn’t quit. I came really close to asking him to leave. The Tech was Edwin Garcia. Don’t ever send him here again. I won’t let him in.

I called NexGen for help with cleaning my sewer line. They were able to send someone the next day. David DeLarosa called in the morning to confirm the arrival time. Called nexgen to have my heater maintenance check up and they sent a great young gentleman by the name of Jesus. Jesus was on time and called ahead. He changed my filter and cleaned everything. He wore a mask and had boot covers the whole time. Great company!

Air went out on Monday. Called and a tech was not out until next day at 6:30pm. The technician did not know what he was doing and was asking us the homeowners why they installed the AC the way they did!?!? How would we know! We had nothing to do with the install. The tech then proceeded to turn on and off our breaker box possible shorting out something else. When they say they will call you, they don’t. Lady was rude on the phone and said “she was swamped” that’s why she had not called yet. We have only had the unit 2 months and this is already happening. Very unprofessional and they obviously don’t care. Now we have to wait another day because “they have nobody available” and tech support is not open…which doesn’t make sense because it’s the middle of the week and the middle of the day. Lady had to nerve to ask if tomorrow between 8-9am is ok? Do we have a choice? Not to mention 3 houses down they have techs out installing a new system. But nobody is available I see… I would not recommend them to anybody.Update: June 22nd 2021Cory a client experience representative called me back the same day. He was nice enough to listen to our concerns and even had somebody out the same day to troubleshoot the problem. Yes we still had to wait a day for the air to be completely fixed, but we feel if we had not had somebody out sooner, we would have waiting yet another day. We are completely happy now with the service and the response. I also added that I hope they take their customers concerns seriously because the response we got from the review should have been the response we received when we first called. I like working with a company that not only understands client experience, but takes the steps needed to ensure the client is satisfied.

SoCal Gas wanted me to have proper ventilation for my water heater and Connor showed up on time, even few minutes early and was so patient since I was running late. He was very knowledgeable and patient as he took the time to explain all my options, including the pros and cons of different choices. I had been looking into the getting an A/C unit. I had a friend recommend me NexGen that they're the best. So I got the number from my friend. I reached out to them and they called me back to set up an estimate . So that week a representative from the company arrived and showed up and gave me an estimate. I then told him that i was waiting for two more estimate and then ill call him back with the estimate I got to see if he can match them. I then called him back and told him my estimates and he said he could go lower then the price he had quoted me which was around 7,849 just to install vents and ducts. I told him the prices and he lowered the price to 3,500. I then told him if he could do 2,500 and he agreed with the price. He arrived and with two other males and started to work on the project. The employee the told me that he had to come back to finish the job and, I gave him the rest of the money thinking he would come back and he never did. Three weeks past by so I called his job and told hem what had happened. So they investigated and fired the employee, which he promised me a receipt and a warranty of the work. Now they don't want to take ownership and make it right. So be careful with this company that was my experience with this companies integrity. They keep telling me the employees had been fired and that how they're cleaning their hands by using that as a free card. watch out!!!
I called NexGen for an A/C system and thermostat repair assessment as my air handler began icing up but producing barely cool air recently. I had initially actually had a different company here to take a look just the day before, but they were not equipped to work on this type of system. That wound up being a blessing for me, as Cassandra and Gloria at NexGen quickly coordinated with me and sent the most amazing technician, Roger Cuadra, to investigate and solve the problem. His attitude and service were beyond excellent in every way. He actually showed up ahead of schedule and was eager to investigate and resolve the issue. Roger was very patient and eager to share his knowledge and expertise with regard to both the general and specific workings of my A/C system - I learned a lot about how it works and why the problem came about, as well as the options available to me (there are many) - as well as information about other related things like preventing mold from forming and circulating in the air. He explained every step of the process to me and was transparent about potential options and costs involved. He very clearly showed that he's interested in helping me out in the best way possible. But best of all, Roger's attitude was so personable, positive and energetic that it felt more like having a welcomed guest in my home who happened to also be an expert in A/C. Kudos to NexGen for finding and keeping such excellent staff and representatives of the company!

We were having serious issues with our commercial AC unit here at my shop. I was a little skeptical of using Nexgen due to horrible experiences with large AC/HVAC companies in the past but David and his apprentice Adrian did an amazing job in not only fixing our unit, but also making sure it got done in a timely manner. Prices were very reasonable and I felt like they had our back the entire time. Very appreciative and definitely recommend them.

Patrick truly came through for us in every way. Long story short, we were stuck in a 12-WEEK disaster with the home warranty company where we were without any A/C and no end in sight. One call to NexGen and Patrick showed up the next day with a clear, efficient, cost effective solution. He fixed it all within 24 hours. Then he went above and beyond and checked all vents for optimal airflow. I can’t recommend Patrick and NexGen enough for coming through for us when we were at a dead end with home warranty. NexGen Anaheim was a godsend, when we needed an expedited AC compressor repair order to meet our inspection/repair process for sale of our home. They took our call and met our needs expeditiously and with professionalism. Highly recommend.

Watch out! These people will rip you off! Although competent in diagnosing my cooling system problem, which required only reset of my breaker box, they recommended installation of surge protectors. An idea worthy of investment. Unfortunately they gave me no breakdown of labor and materials offering to do the work for $432/unit which for both units totaled $864. Their total time at my house was 1 hour. After they left I determined the cost of the surge protectors was $79 apiece on Amazon. Next Gen charged me $686 for one hours work including mark up of surge protectors. This is an outrageous gouging of a consumer who expected a fair price for the work and was taken advantage of. I requested a price adjustment from Nex Gen and they have ignored my request.If sincere about addressing my comments, credit my account $300 which still gives you 100% markup of the surge protectors and $200 for the 1 hour of work
Absolute scam! Daniel came seven days ago to fix AC. Charged $88. Seven days later AC completely out. Call for service and Derek came out. Derek tells me We probably have a leak in the old system and would need Freon. That Freon isn’t available anymore when in reality it is (r410a). It’s clearly stated on the unit. We would need leak detection and new piping. Condenser wasn’t working and we would be better off getting new unit to the tune of $17,000!!! But would have to meet with sales manager. Had another AC repairman come today. He replaced Freon (Which he said was probably leaked by the first technician and NEXGEN is notorious for these outrageous tactics to get customers to buy new units!). STAY CLEAR OF NEXGEN!!

Let me start by saying I would give them 10 stars if possible.. I decided to make the decision to have AC installed after the recent heatwave. Within an hour after my phone call someone was at my home to give me an estimate, very impressive. From the moment I made the decision they were in constant communication with me, welcoming me to the family via email to constant emails and calls updating my status and letting me know when when the installers would arrive.What was the most impressive was after my estimate appointment and meeting Randi we agreed where the unit was to be placed. It was a very convenient location due to the location of my fusebox however not the most ideal.Regardless I was OK with it. But when the installers arrived the next day, they found a much better location for my AC unit. When I asked if we would still be OK because of the fuse Box they responded yes it'll be a little bit more work for us but this is a much better location for you. It was out of the way in a location where it was less obvious and although it was extremely hot and they were going to have to work extra to install it, at no extra charge to me of course they still decided this was the best option for me. They could have easily just placed it where it was originally agreed and made it easier on themselves. Instead they put my needs before their own. IMPRESSIVE! Thank you Nexgen. If you are looking for AC, plumbing and heating installation or repair nextgen is the way.

The technician was very well dressed and professional on time. said hello to the family and started to work as soon as hi got to the residents at 14015 coteau whittier. I asked him many questions and was able to explained it to a level can understand it. Very friendly and up front. The technician did in amazing job from time pulled his meter and safety gloves to the time put the ac unit doors back. Was able to troubleshoot it and help me. Ramiro was the technician for my appointment. He contacted me prior to the appointment as I had requested and he arrived in a timely manner. Ramiro was a knowledgeable technician and he performed the hvac maintenance thoroughly. He provided photos of the hvac system and advised on areas of concern that should be addressed. The hvac system in my home is fairly new (two years old) so it is under a ten year warranty. Ramiro understood that I would need to contact the installer about the warranty for the areas of concern. I would recommend Nexgen for any maintenance, new systems or repairs.

Louis, service manager, came to our home and was very informative as to what he recommended be done. We trusted what he had to say and NexGen was at our home the next day replacing our entire HVAC system.The team that came out was great, working non stop from 8am until about 5pm. I booked an appointment on-line and was provided a confirmation email with an appointment date and time of 10am - Noon. Nobody arrived. At 12:15pm I called the office and they denied that I had an appointment. When I forwarded the confirmation email they suddenly had a technician available to come between 3-5pm. He arrived at during that time period but was not familiar with the coupon offer that I received in the mail. I did not receive the FREE Air Filter that was listed on the coupon. The technician was a large framed man and was not able to access either of the attic entrances to a permitted addition where many others have gone before. So I do not feel that I received a complete inspection of the entire ducting system since he was unable to inspect the converted two car garage - family room. He noted damage to the original duct work, spoke to another NEXGEN technician and said that we would be contacted for an inspection for the following Thursday. It never happened. Nobody ever contacted us by telephone nor email to schedule the inspection and nobody arrived. When I contacted the office the person lied to me over the telephone about calling and leaving voice mail messages on the house and cellphone. It also took me over a week to receive my invoice/paid receipt for the original service.They have nice commercials on TV but I would never use NEXGEN again nor refer them to anyone.

This company is top notch. Our sales rep, Zach, was very knowledgable, friendly, and went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted for the price range we were looking for. He helped guide us through the process in a simple, easy to understand way. The whole demo and install crew were courteous and friendly, not to mention they do amazingly efficient and high quality work. We had a full AC changeout, furnace relocation and ducting and insulation install done from start to finish in less than 2 days. Just in time to put the new AC to the test for this week’s heat wave. To top it off, we got free tickets from Susie for their amazing suite at Angel stadium. This company knows what they are doing, not just with their amazing AC services, but also with their advertising and customer service. Cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Jose and Clemente were very informative and thorough when they came out to take a look at our gas leak. After we got word from the Gas Company that we had a dangerous situation on our hands and had to shut off our gas service Next-gen was able to get a technician out there within a couple hours to diagnose the problem. Unfortunately we have some significant work on our hands but Clemente was very patient and offered several options to get us back up and running in quick order and made sure to answer all our questions. This is the Walmart of HVAC. Stay far away as they use the cheapest companies they can source and then mark up the costs anywhere from 3 to 10 times market. They were sold to a business group and the bottom line is ONLY profit. There is no room for service as the service guys are told to push sales and not repairs.Just about any company will save you money over them. NRG is a great company with honest owners.

was happy with the quick response. the technician was polite and put on booties when he entered the house. however, I thought he was on a mission to find everything that could be changed even though things were working. his estimate to fix things came out to almost $2,000 and suggested things like upgrading my entire AC unit which was only 8 years old and working fine. after talking to friends and family they think the cost for what they plan to do is excessive. I'm going to get additional estimates before moving forward

Shady awful company. Run, don’t walk away. Nexgen requested full payment from their sleazy partner lender Sunlight financial before HVAC replacement was even nearly complete. Lender ignored my explicit instructions not to pay them, they work closely together and paid Nexgen anyways. Nexgen admitted it was a mistake, but still failed to give money back. Project remains unfinished.

My NexGen heating comfort technician Marcus Williams was very professional, considerate, and courteous. He took the time both times he was here to check out the issue for our heating system and took pictures and informed me with visual proof of the situation/problem with my heater and told me the steps, he was cleanly as far as wearing a mask putting on gloves each time he came in and out of the house and shoe “booties” as well. From the estimate to instalation this company was a plesure to work with.Daniel was great at exsplaining our options and go over the cost comparison of installing split systems as aposed to central air. Gave honest educated opions when asked and never tried to presure or upsell us.Pedro, Jene, and Hector where fast, curtious, and friendly while installing our system. They did a great job and with it starting to heat up its definitely money well spent.
Listen guys… idk who needs to hear this. But hear this. Idk if nexgen hires 3rd parties or shady characters. I’m from a family of Mexican immigrants and I’ve never seen such con artist. They give us a bad name. So it’s either nex gen or the 3rd parties we are getting from nex gen. They are unresponsive. They set-up a very expensive system for my grandmother and when it malfunctions under a year they take their sweet time to come and explain all the reasons why they can’t fix it. This is getting ridiculous and I will take escalate this higher. Get your act together. Stop recommending shady 3rd parties and stand by your systems.

Unbelievable positive experience!!! I arrived yesterday from out of town to discover something was wrong with my elderly mom’s furnace. I prayed, then searched the web, and called Nexgen. Joaquin was the technician who came out to inspect the heater. He was thorough and honest. He explained everything well and gave us options. He also made some conference calls with us and Thomas whom was extremely helpful as well. Then remarkably they were able to get a team of 3 workers, led by Ulysses, to work non stop for 3 hours this evening to replace the old unit with a new one so that we could have heat again. (The house was 54 degrees this morning.). I literally can not say enough about how grateful I am for the service we received today. The company deserves more than 5 stars and I will be spreading my story around to family and friends.

Professional and affordable seasonal cleaning and maintenance of our HVAC system. New filters, coil cleaning, inspections, electrical checks. Amazing and efficient. I purchased the system from another local company that told us there were rebates only to find out there were none after we paid. The original company's annual service contract (required per my warrantee) was also extremely expensive. NEXTGEN checks in twice a year to make sure we have regular scheduled maintenance, and does so at a very affordable and honest rate. Love them.
The technicians were outstanding. Pedro Rodriguez , and all the other techs that came to my home to install new Unit of AC were very respectful, neat, informative, patient, and above all professional. I am very satisfied with the service and worked they provided. Thank you to the entire team from NexGen. I appreciate the quality of work you provided to me and my family. I was told that they would do an inspection of my drain and take care of the smell in the pipes. The first thing after me telling him the problems with the pipes he said we need a camera to see in the drain so I said ok , then he said I have to call around to see if anyone has one close to me and he said we also need to hydro wash the pipes, I also need to look for someone that has the machine. How does this company send someone that is not prepared for what I asked for when I talked to customer service and told them what I need it from the start. I don't recommend this company at all.

Communication with this company is almost none existing. My questions were answered to questions I didn’t ask. I have not received my receipt after asking 4 times. My email is asked for over and over and again answered that question and for some reason refuse to accept what my email is. I’m f I wasn’t in a bind I would have used another company.Technician was very experienced 30 years. As I was told repeatedly, lead me down a mistrusted road. So I became very skeptical. I was explained what my problem was by telling me how a toilet works. WTH that was very annoying and I had to walk away. I wanted our AC fixed and an explanation on what was broke. I do feel I was up charged ( without any facts to support that) just st a feeling from conversations.Good news is we are up and running.I finally received my receipt and I see why you kept it from me. Your tech disconnected the thermostat then charged me $900 to connect it. Explain that please

We never used Nexgen before but got their flyer in the mail. We wanted a tune up after this hot summer and realized our motor was going out which explained alot. We had an appt quickly and the technician was Patrick. He was so knowledgeable and explained everything so that I could understand. He was punctual and very professional and more importantly honest. Hi, we had an emergency and they were great to come out the same day and fix our issue but unfortunately we were quoted $4600 for the job and when it came time to pay the invoice the amount had jumped to $5500 with now communication on the additional amount. Very disappointed.

I found one of your employee to be very rude and unprofessional. He didn't even introduce himself or give me a name. He came in my house without respecting my cultural preference of not wearing shoes in the house. He would not explain his process when asked. For example he asked to see my backyard and questioned he responded with just repeating himself that he needs to sewy backyard, which does not have any gas lines. His first words after I open the door for him was you need a plumber? Before I could even explain what I was looking for he stepped into my house. When asked if he wanted to take a look in the attic for the gas line he replied with why would I need to do that. The employee pulled out his iPad and started taking pictures of my house without consent and when asked why he needed to take picture he responded with it part of my job. Fortunately, this is just a quote and based on this experience I believe going forward with this company would be a big mistake. I'm aware that this one employee that does not respresent your entire company. I hope this company could learn from this experience and hold their employees to a better minimal standard for customer service.

Had a horrible experience with NexGen, 1. They did not keep their promises to complete their work. 2. They did not return my phone calls after being told I would hear from them by the end of the day, 3.They started work before obtaining permits. 4.They charged me the full amount before the work was completed. 5. I am still waiting on their work to be completed 3 weeks after work was started on my project after I was told they would complete it in 3 days. I am very disappointed! And all this just to replace my water main. I should have done the work myself and saved myself over $6800 dollars and all this aggravation.
I can only say one thing, this company is awesome, they say what they are going to do and then do it. Last year we got a tune up, and then realizing it was not enough we went ahead and bit the bullet and put in a new air and heating system. Jeff Kieffer was great as he came to our house on 2 occasions setting us up with what we needed and to make sure we were comfortable with our purchase. The crew that put in the systems were on time quiet clean and organized. My wife and I would highly recommend them for any service that you would need.

We just recently had new AC installed as our old AC had been broken for over a year (just now getting around to it). I called on Wednesday for a quote and Zachary was able to come out Thursday for the estimate. He was very polite and friendly. He was thorough and talked me through my options. We live in a 3 story condo and have a split hydronic AC/Heating unit which is not very common anymore. Other quotes I received were not able to utilize the space that the current unit was occupying (inside closet and outdoor laundry unit) and wanted to put it on our patio which would take up room and likely not be approved by our HOA. But they were able to give us a similar, upgraded unit and not take up any additional space. Zachary was able to give us an estimate on the spot and guaranteed their quote and work. Their team came out the next day to haul away the old unit, and Saturday morning they arrived with the new unit. They did a great job. It took about 7-8 hours since it was an unusual set up but they were efficient and worked hard. They spent time testing the unit and showing us how to use our new Wifi thermostat. We are very happy with this company and will be referring them to our neighbors and friends.

Today I used NexGen services and was not at all disappointed. I had Johnny who was right on time and walked me through everything that was wrong with my sink and garbage disposal. He was very professional and friendly and even gave some attention to my anxious dogs. 10/10

AWFUL! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This review is for a plumbing call. We worked with Vinny, a fast talker with an attitude, and an agenda of up-selling. Their work is not reliable and are what I consider to be dishonest.The service call was for a very slow draining kitchen sink, repair a broken P-trap, and installment of a pre-purchased bathroom faucet. This company takes advantage of the elderly (couple in their 90's and 80's). Their pricing is exorbitant and there is no senior/elderly discount. Our bathroom faucet was installed at a price of $300+, which we thought was high but agreed since we needed the kitchen sink fixed and they were already there. I regret not doing my homework when requesting this company to do the service. They did not snake the drain and instead took a camera to the piping system. Their recommendation was the re-pipe the entire house! When I said that is not an option they said they didn't want to snake because it could cause damage to the pipes. Yes the pipes are old metal, but this guy said the metal pipe had rusted completely closed and that was why the kitchen sink was slow draining! Now I'm no plumbing expert by any means but even I know that if water is flowing through a rusted metal pipe daily, there is NO way it will rust to the point where it closes the diameter of the entire pipe. He also said the point of blockage was about in the middle of the house (raised foundation and the kitchen is at the front of the house nearest the main line). Now if the blockage is in the middle of the house, wouldn't there be backing up or slow draining of any of the other sinks/tubs/showers in the house? When asked what options we had, Vinny said they could replace some piping under the sink from a Y to a single point which may help. He said it would be a band-aid, not a permanent fix. I foolishly agreed to have them do so, thinking a band-aid is better than nothing since we needed a draining kitchen sink. After he said the work was done, and they were getting into their vehicle to leave, we ran water into the sink and it was not draining any better than before they arrived. When we told them they're not done, the water's still not draining, Vinny's response was, Use less water. I told you it was a band-aid, so I guess it only worked for only 5 minutes. (He claims he ran the water for 5 minutes while he was on a phone call and it was draining but he did NOT run the water.) He wants to come back a week later to talk about how bad the blockage is and what it will take to fix the problem. A relative called a day later to complain and request Vinny come back out and fix the problem but was told Vinny was on vacation and no one else is available...By the end of the day we still did not have a draining kitchen sink. So far, the bathroom sink fixture seems fine but the cold water side has less pressure than the hot. Hoping it resolves itself.

Great price, great service, clean, quick installation. Very professional company.I received a call a half hour before arrival to expect the installation crew. They put down heavy tarps before starting. For no extra charge they expanded the intakes. They also put sound proofing on the walls of the furnace closet so it's really quiet.They cleaned up the old AC spot before putting in the new one. Before they left they cleaned up everything.Very professional staff and process.I definitely recommend Nexgen.

Nexgen is a wonderful organization. I hired them to replace my old furnace with a new one and to fix a plumbing issue. Their technician (Roger) was the ultimate professional. He was very transparent regarding different service options and was very punctual in following up with my inquires. I am happy I hired this company!
Arnold came out to our house to look at our HVAC. He was very thorough in looking through the system to diagnose potential problems. Michael A came out for an inspection on my air conditioning system to see if it would be ready for the summer. The system was working well according to his inspection but he gave me some recommendations about upgrading the unit to the new refrigerant and also to get something that is more efficient. We decided not to move forward with anything yet, but we will definitely be using NexGen in the future when we decide to upgrade the unit. Thank you Michael and thank you NexGen!!

I contacted this company after finding them through Yelp and reading several five star reviews. Our plumber, Larry Acuna, contacted me in advance to confirm the appointment and introduce himself. Upon arrival, he asked me several questions to understand what the issue was (low water pressure and water not getting hot), and detailed what he was going to do to determine root causes of the issues that I was having and then provide recommendations and possible options. He was very detailed in telling me what his process was going to be, when he was going to do it and updated me on his discoveries. He was very mindful coming in and out of the house, he was intentional in telling me that he did not want to tracked dirt into the house, and wore coverings over his shoes. He went above and beyond and tested my water quality, assessed the quality and integrity of my current equipment, and then provided personal recommendations from a professional standpoint. He offered advise and guidance o. what I could do going forward to resolve the issues and future prevention. He also uncovered a separate water leak issue that we weren't unaware of and took pictures/videos of what he found underneath the house. Overall, it was a really great experience, he was very professional, honest, and seemed very experienced/educated in his trade and provided a great customer experience.

Not a great experience initially with the first technician and the appointment team but Ben came and saved the day he was sent to correct everyone else’s mistakes and provide honest and expert service and care. Great service, great people, decent pricing. Unfortunately they won't remove me from their do not call list, so I had to block them because of their yearly telemarketing calls. I assume this was a mistake on their side, not done on purpose, but since the problem still exists they are now getting a negative review. If you hire them I am sure you will be happy with the work, just don't give them your phone number.EDIT: While last year they claim they removed me from the list, I still received the call yesterday, so I asked them again to remove me from the list and they said I still wasn't on it, but they'd delete my account. Perhaps they contracted out the telemarketing, if so they need to investigate and fix this issue.

Too often I’ve used smaller companies thinking I would save some money. Whatever I thought I was saving IS NOT worth the hassle. You know when you’re working with a contractor and you think, “If they would just do X or Y, customers would be so much happier!” Nexgen does X and Y And Z. I’m big on customer service, having worked in th field previously. I’m big on not feeling I’ve been taken advantage of. These guys got everything RIGHT. I will never work with another plumber again!
The company took the time to sent me a text message to confirm my appointment since I don't answer calls from unknown phone numbers. The technician (Steve Arias) arrived at my house on time and was very professional. He explained every step of heater tune up and made a couple recommendations on how to improve our system. All in all, a great tech. I never felt pressured to buy anything. I highly recommend Steve at Nexgen Air.
