I think it's way overpriced. My bad for not getting estimates elsewhere. I chose them co'z they have pretty good review but you can pretty much get free estimates elsewhere. Nexgen charges $88 to diagnose & give estimates. They will waive the $88 so long as you use their service. The tech, Joel Chavarri was very good, professional, knowledgeable, and informative.Bottom line, ask other companies that don't charge just to give estimates. If you think they're expensive, you can ask another company but you won't lose anything.

Noah was on time and very efficient at diagnosing the problem with our AC.He took many photos to document the current state of our system and very carefully explained the problem and the work to be done to make the repair. Noah checked all the system and refrigerant level too. We would be sure to ask for Noah in the future when our 21 year old system gives up and needs to be replaced. Thanks!

The staff is always very professional. Their warranty department really listens to your needs and proactively schedules service appointments. I am very pleased with their level of service. Roger came and quickly diagnosed the issue. He replaced the AC capacitor and added additional refrigerant. Luckily, that solved the issue. My furnace is definitely older and he gave me recommendations to fix/replace it in the future. I was satisfied with the service provided.

Amazing and professional every step of the way. Scheduling was a breeze, no pun intended. I was actually a bit surprised that I was able to get a next day A/C diagnostic appt at a time that fit MY schedule. The phone rep was even cheerful and upbeat.Axel, our technician, was also awesome. He was super patient with my curious hands-on 7 year old and with my misreading his name which was clearly printed on his ID badge. Oops. He was thorough in checking out every part of the AC system and answered all of the questions we threw at him. Once the diagnosis was complete, Axel explained what he believed to be the issue and how to address it. As a courtesy, he even swapped out the old dirty filter for a fresh one (he said he was worried about my kiddo's health and said it would also improve the air flow slightly).All that said, I have to give a full 5 star review for my entire experience with Nexgen Air and I would highly recommend calling them for all your heating and ac issues.

Recently purchased a home and called Nexgen to perform an HVAC and plumbing inspection prior to closing escrow. Customer service is excellent and very professional on the phone. We set up a day and time and both technicians called beforehand, arrived early and performed very thorough inspections in a timely manner. I got detailed reports emailed to me and was able to see any issues which put my mind at ease. I’d recommend Nexgen for any work you need on your home!

I learned of a ductless ac system not too long ago and was advised by another contractor this is one of the best, if not, the best system to install in my home. After calling a number of different ac companies for estimates, I decided for NexGen to install a Daikin ductless system in my home. I had quotes up to $6,000 - $8,000 which my contractor said was overpriced. In addition, NexGen will come to my home in a quick time frame should my system encounter any problems. The project manager, Armando, is professional and explained everything in a simple manner. The technicians will arrive on Friday, September 9th to install the new Daikin (many people say Daikin is the best). I mentioned that I wanted the ductless ac to keep my living room/kitchen area cool which this system will take care of. It will cost me over $5,000 but is a great investment, will change my quality of life, will last 10 - 12 years. I am thrilled that I decided for NexGen to install this fantastic system. Can't wait until Friday!

The Technician called and said he would be there by 9:15 a.m. He was right on time. My appointment was for an Air Conditioner inspection. The Technician, found some minor issues, but he did say, for as old as the system is it is in good shape. The technician was able to get the parts he needed and fixed the issued today. I thought he would have to come back on another day. My Technician was Pedro Ortega. He was very polite and knowledgeable. He went right to work and after he finished he went over the issues and answered any questions I had. I definitely would recommend Nexgen. I saw their commericals on TV. Good company.

I’ve been with Nexgen x-protect plan for a while now. The last visit by Jesus R sums up what they do best. Our AC was not cooling and he showed up on time, diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it within 2 hours. Happy cool kids in the house again. Jesus was professional and communicated well. While he was here he changed the filter and gave a wash to the outside unit. Best of all I didn’t have to pay anything as it’s covered by our plan. Keep it up Nexgen.

The nightmare is over. We finally have a working AC! We recently moved into a new house, and two months in the AC goes out. Well it’s still under the home warranty so we give them a call. After many phone calls, and a week later sweating in the summer heat, we finally get someone to come out and inspect our AC. They Tells us the Zone board is out and that the home warranty does not cover this. A week wasted in his heat for something they can’t even fix!We reach out to Nextgen, who thankfully got us set up with an appt the next day first thing in the morning. Patrick came out right on time the next day. True model of professionalism! We explained our story and what’s going on and he said he could help. Took the time to explain what he was doing and did it with a great attitude. Got our AC working, and then took the time to check everything else regarding our system. Checked the thermostats, the filters, the ducts, went outside to the AC unit and even did some cleaning of it, as the previous owners had not been keeping up with it. Really went out of his way to make sure there were not any additional issues and to make sure everything was working correctly. Gave us great, honest advice on how we could do home care for the AC, and was a pleasure to talk to the whole time. With service like that, we will always call Nextgen first. Great experience!

We had guests arrived to stay with us for a few days and in prepping the guest house we discovered that the AC had gone out. I called Nexgen and they had Andy at our house in less than an hour. He throughly inspected all facets learning then replacing the burned out switch, within 2 hours if contacting Nexgen, and because of Andy's professionalism and extremely nice demeanor we had ice air within 2 hrs.Andy then helped us with his shop vac to blow up a giant circus ball we had gotten for our guest's little boy, that is more than just good service that is a great community member.Highly recommend Nexgen, in fact we joined their monthly club as it allows special services year round to keep AC/Heat, plumbing, and water tanks running efficiently all year round.

Ridiculous. Appointment was scheduled for 1-2p and he called before 9am and said he would be there at 10a. He did not ask if it could be changed. Made a ridiculous overpriced quote for a very simple job. There was nothing in the quote showing what justified the cost no itemizations parts, time for labor—nothing. The most unprofessional experience ever. Quoted $2655 and I got a second quote for $375. Come on!!

Nexgen came out to perform the estimate the same day I called. They reviewed what needed to be done and why. They worked with me on the price. They showed up for work the next day and completed the job. They reviewed the new HVAC system with me, which included numerous improvements to my old system. Our next step is the get the hers test approved by the county and the permit approved by the city. Hers is showing up next week to approve.I feel confident that I'm with a company who has the staff to take care of me and believe that they stand behind everything they say.

I called Nexgen to see about servicing my struggling AC system. The gal who took my call was friendly and accommodating and scheduled a service call for the very next morning.( Something a local competitor could not do.) Zach was dispatched and arrived promptly as scheduled. I had a good idea of what the issue was and Zach quickly came to the same conclusion. No BS, just the facts. System is now running at optimum efficiency. Though he followed his company policy by offering additional services, he did so in a friendly, no pressure, informative manner. I saw Nexgen’s billboard off of the freeway and the first thing that caught my eye was the Stars and Stripes. Then something unexpected happened. My AC stopped working. Nexgen was the first company that came to mind. I called and was impressed at their level of Customer Service. They wanted to help and were very sincere. Then I saw Axel G. pull up to my house in no time. Axel walked in and diagnosed the problem right away. He was completely transparent with pricing and what work needed to be done. That is very rare in this industry. I knew my home AC was in expert hands. He explained everything in detail and helped me better understand how my AC system works. The price was lower than all of the previous quotes I had received. I thank you and my Family thanks you Sir. He informed me of the X Protection Plan and explained all of the details. I was sold. $14.95 a month to protect my HVAC with tuneups and plumbing? It’s a no brainer. I'm a little indifferent. To start, I didn't use this company. The good: I was able to make an appointment quickly and easily. They confirmed the day of, and I was treated with kindness and professionalism. The staff who came to give the quote were on time and professional. Finally, when they understood that their prices were 3 times more than everyone else's estimates, they didn't waste my time. The cons: they didn't offer an estimate by phone or via Yelp!. I reached out to 6 companies and they were the only ones who insisted on an in person quote. When they arrived I told them we were getting quotes and they realized that they were 3 to 4 times higher than everyone else. I'm still very shocked at the rate. My quotes range from a low of $850 to a high of $2300. They came in at $4100 for a very basic home repair (water heater replacement). Also, they told me they don't even try to repair water heaters over 6 years old. Not sure how I feel about that. Trying to give a fair review because they were kind and professional but I'm very shocked by the prices!

We had a cracked pan on our split system and had some not so great bids from other companies (found via Yelp reviews). We decided to try a larger more commercial company for a bid and I’m so glad we did. Aaron was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He took photos and explained everything that I previously didn’t understand and couldn’t see on the roof and in the attic. He offered us multiple options and worked hard to get us everything we need within our budget. We get our new system installed soon and I will update this review.

Ac has not been working as well as it had been and freezes over if left on for a while, assumed there was some sort of leak. Charged $1,300 for “isolation leak test” and all I was told was there is a leak but we don’t know where. Duh I already knew there was a leak. It was then recommended to just replace the entire system because they couldn’t figure out where the leak is!!! Such an expensive thing to not figure out anything! Very disappointed in nexgen. I’d recommend looking elsewhere for ac repairs and maintenance

After 16 years in our house (home is 25 years old) time to get a quote on replacing our leaking HVAC unit, typed in for a A/C and Heating company in Googled it and the company NexGen was at the top of the list. They quoted a service call quote and would apply that to the replacement price if we decided to purchase it. We asked for a sale technician to give a free estimate for a new unit, a very pleasant phone conversation led to sending out a salesman for a 9:00am appointment, which he (David) arrived at the scheduled time. We spent time getting to know one another and was very impressed with his years experience and knowledge of the Industry and his competitors. He inspected our unit and explained everything that was to be done. Just as he was going to install it himself, he explained why he recommended out of the 3 different products, Lennox, Trane and Daikin, we chose the Daikin brand, which is the Goodman company out of Texas, Lifetime warranty, Hi-Efficiency, competitively priced, (estimates from last year where higher than his quote for this year, also, after our lengthy questions and answers, 3 hours later, we decided to go with the estimate, realizing the expense we where going to go thru, the salesman offered his company to buy the interest down that was better than our credit union with no money down and an affordable monthly payment, with a transferable warranty.He also said he could have a crew of 4 this afternoon to tear out the old heater and A/C unit and once we decided to go with his company, he made a phone call 1/2 hour later 2 vans from NexGen showed up knocking on our door, talk about service, The crew got started at 12:00 removed and replace the system by 5:00 and the next morning another crew in 2 nice NexGen vans arrived at the time they where scheduled. t This crew did all the equipment hook up electrical and finished rebuilding sheet metal work and insulating the attic, Wifi Thermostat installed. all was completed in 8 hours, cleaned up like no one was there. They all wore booties on there work shoes and covered the floors with canvas.I give NexGen a 5 star out of 5, personality, professionalism, even the installers are very courteous and enjoy the company they work for. I've been in sales, manufacturing, retail and wholesale over 50 years and retired 1 1/2 years, at 75 its nice to know there is a company like NexGen to service customers the old fashion way, a pleasant voice, a smile and a handshake with your employees saying, thank you for you business.I wanted to acknowledge all the men that did the work at my house, names where mentioned and wanted to give them recognition for a job well done, all of them where busy from removing the old heater and A/C to the crew that came out and finished the job, a job well done.From the project manager David (salesman), Gustavo, Omar, Albert, Arturo. This was the second crew that finished up the installation the next day. The 1st crew where in the area from Palm Springs, did the removal and installation, I don't remember their names, please thank them.

There was no additional work done other than a simple drain cleaning that took no more than 15 minutes to perform. The online price was $58, but I was told he wouldn’t do the work unless I paid $192. My HVAC system was not working so I called Nexgen and they came out the same day. Art was great! He took his time to go over each component and discussed each item that needed to be replaced. I didn't have a real understanding of HVAC and Art taught me so much. We decided to replace the whole system rather than try to repair so many parts on a 21 year old unit. I didn't feel rushed or pressured to do anything. Art gave me my options and broke down the pros/cons of each. He was here late into the evening and never seemed to mind that we just kept talking and asking questions before making a decision. Brian Hawkins, our service tech, was the most honest service technician we have EVER encountered. He knew his HVAC; he cleaned out the bottom of the condenser, checked the HVAC in the garage; gave us one recommendation to bring up to code and said our system was holding freeon, was already at the most current requirement and installed our new thermostat that we couldn't be more excited about. Called on a Friday and they had a technician out by Monday. On Monday the tech was running behind on his job and they called 45 minutes before my appointment to ask if they could push it back an hour, and then the tech called when he was on his way with an ETA. My tech, Brian H, was very professional and friendly. He gave me tips on how to handle my unit and made sure it was running properly before leaving. Over all I’m very satisfied with my experience with both the customer service and in person interactions! Highly recommend. Don’t know about price comparison because if the service is good I’ll pay to have it done instead of shopping around.

David came out to snake my main sewer line. He said there was a lot of grease that was clogging the main line and some baby wipes. It was three times as much as I was quoted. Six days later water was backing up again. Called out a different plumber and he said he got 20 feet into the sewer line and hit the clog. He said he pushed through it and cleared the line all the way past the farthest wash out.So I paid more than quoted, the work was not done.

This is the worst air conditioning company we’ve ever had to deal with. First, our air conditioner has been out we called them to come fix it and they charge over $220 to get it fixed when we have warranty and for it to go out AGAIN within 3 days, they showed up did what they had to and turned out it was a motor problem from the AC, they stated WE had to be the ones to pay the motor part which is freaking ridiculous because we already had to pay $220 from the start to get the AC fixed when it went out 3 days later. Like how is that even right? They claimed to put a brand NEW AC for us and it’s been over 3 weeks my mother keeps calling the dam company and they use all these dam excuses. This is very disappointing and very frustrating to our family keep in mind it’s literally hot in our home and we have a special needs person living here, she can’t handle this dam heat, they are aware of that too and they don’t freaking care. I hope no one else has to go through this situation but please do your research and don’t come to this company, because they are not helpful at all.

However there is no reason that a temporary mesh couldn’t be applied to ensure rodents don’t enter the space. That could be easier removed when the inspection happened. I was told the technician would perform 26 checkpoints and diagnostic the problems for the cost of $88. If we agreed to fix the problems, then $88 would be waved. The technician spent about 30 minutes, and simply told me that the board was bad. He did not even perform 26 check points as I was told. I did not see him using multimeter to check the electrical. He recommended to replace my 3/4 ton heat pump ductless mini split for the price of $9,000.00. If I was him, I would check all electrical components such as voltage, fuses, capacitors, relays…. I was not satisfied with the workmanship. Yes of course, I paid.

I got 3 estimates from other companies which included Nexgen. Tim Eagleson came out to provide me with an estimate to replace both our 17 year old units: one for upstairs and one for downstairs. We live in a 2004 built home in San Bernardino County and had natural gas heating systems like most people do. So, all other contractors gave me estimates for keeping like for like (natural gas heating and traditional cooling). Tim Eagleson gave me not only like for like but also a different option that will gain us more energy savings and indoor comfort by doing a VRV system. None of the other contractors brought this to my attention. There is also a California Clean Air Rebate that is available!We absolutely love our new system and we are so happy that it's quiet, super comfortable and the air is filtered by a great filter system. We highly recommend Nexgen and Tim Eagleson for being so helpful and professional throughout this big project. Also, the installers did a magnificent job! Gus, Ivan, Christian and their helpers are artists at what they do. Thank you NEXGEN!

Nexgen was one of several contractors considered for my 3 TON ac replacement project. The sales advisor was kind and professional. Nexgen was also the lowest priced bidder (even for the better middle tier equipment / warranty packages). They would have won the bid if not for a competitor willing to compete with them on price for this middle tier package. The competitor also offered better special financing offers. (Nexgen's bank also offered 12mo no payments and interest, but afterwards converting to a 120 month loan at 27%---you need to find a better bank Nexgen, they cost you this deal). My only other criticism of Nexgen would be for them to reconsider their bottom tier labor warranty, as 1 year is well below par and going to cost you more business in the long run.

I had Ben do routine service for my tankless water heater in the chino area. Ben showed up on time (even called to be a little early)! He was super professional and friendly and able to provide me with detailed explaination of how to maintain my water heater as well as prevent the rest of my home from water damage all while performing the service to filter the tankless water heater. Communication had degraded at NexGen. I called to make a service appointment and was told I would be called back because all customer service staff was already on calls. The person who called back said she was going to book my appointment. She did book it with a window from 1:00 to 5:00pm on the date chosen. Then the next day someone who said they were with customer service/scheduling and my appointment needed to be solidified at 5:00-6:00pm on the date. She said the person I spoke to did not have access to their actual service schedules. So the time they gave me was in error. I agreed to 5:00pm on the date. The date was today. The technician arrived at 4:00pm. No one texted or called to advise me of the time change. The technician was under the impression that the office had contacted me to let me know he would arrive an hour early. More communication errors. He did the service and said all was good with my heating and a/c, but I should consider adding a device to assist with the starting of the unit in my backyard that had the fan. The device would help stop “hard starts” on that piece of equipment. System is barely four years old. Device costs almost $600. Seems high for an add on they can’t even say I need. Not the kind of service I am used to getting from NexGen. Have been so satisfied in the past.

Perhaps overpriced, shop around and compare. Warranty repair required multiple follow-ups and threats of litigation, but repair was successfully completed without going to court. Plumbers were difficult to deal with during repipe of whole house and fought advice based on homeowner's knowledge of prior construction. Would not use again.

I called NextGen HVAC and Plumbing yesterday and was able to get an appointment the next day. I never used them before so I was a little skeptical but I needed my AC unit repaired asap and did not want to pay outrages call-out fees.Once the technician, JUAN, arrived he immediately resolved my issue for a reasonable price. JUAN was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He figured out the issue and fixed it hassle free. I immediately noticed the difference and it works just as great as it did when I purchased it.Because of JUAN, NextGen has won my service. He went above and beyond. Also, the customer service representatives were kind, profesional and helpful while scheduling my appointment and getting updates.

Difficult experience as still no hot water as water and hot water heater had to be turned off and, after 4 days , still no hot water and company is claiming that it is my hot water heater though was working fine before installation. I called them for a clogged condensation drain line. I had shop vac'd it prior to calling them as the secondary was leaking. I requested that the tech call me prior to appointment so I can get there for him to access. They have a follow up text, and call reminding me the day before our scheduled appointment. And the tech (Eddy called) prior to arrival and gave me an ETA. He arrived when he said he would and was extremely friendly and professional. There was some miscommunication in regards to offered service and cost from the office. He said he will call the office to clarify but in the meantime was given clearance to check things out on what the issue maybe and if he could be of service. Turns out that I had already cleared the line and the unit was operational. He walked around with me to explain my system and made real common sense. With the issue resolved there was no further need of service, (he didn't charge anything as he said I had already fixed it), but he took his time to explain and answer some of the questions I had about what services they offered and entailed. Honest guy with company owning up on the agreement. Even if you had to pay little extra, knowledge, professionalism, expertise, and just straight common sense makes it a A+ experience. Thanks!

Not consistent. Honored $88 special back in march. Used the bigger snake and camera. Guy was super professional. In and out in 15 minutes. Called them recently and the guy said to use camera and larger snake was $326. He was here for 30-40 mins struggling with the small snake. Telling us how old our pipes are, etc. Felt like a used car salesman trying to take advantage of us. If you call them, your experience will depend on the technician. Not consistent as a company.

I requested an appointment online and Patrick was able to come for an appointment that next day. My heater was kicking off and Patrick figured out that it was overheating because our home has only 3 outlet vents and little return air. He helped us to fix the problem temporarily at no charge, until we can fix it by installing an additional vent and changing out the return vent. Patrick was awesome and we will request him directly in the future!

I chose this company due to great reviews and am exceptional warranty. The install team was professional and prompt.I had to call NexGen for AC repair recently. Terrence, handled my case from start to finish. He was on time, extremely knowledgeable, very honest, and fair. He brainstormed and came up with the best way to fix and improve my system.The actual technicians who performed the labor were polite and professional. I received a call letting me know that we had signed up for a year of maintenance and had not used it. They offered to come to the house and attend to whatever was desired at 'no charge.I had a small problem with the flapper on a toilet, and asked them to take care of it. The person who came to the house was knowledgeable and courteous. He diagnosed it as suspecting that the wrong flapper was installed and said that he should replace it with the proper one for a Toto toilet.Knowing that such flappers cost around $15 at Home Depot, (10.99 on Amazon), I agreed for him to replace it. He did so, and the bill for the flapper was $252.43 ! The free part of their offer was only waving the charges for travel to my house and diagnosing the problem.I felt totally ripped off, and will not use them again.

I had Nexgen come in and gave me a quote on a new AC and furnace. As soon as I had signed the contract, they went ahead and took out the old units and had them hauled away. The next day they were at my place at 8 am and started working and 4 hours later they were done. I am very happy with their job.They are really good at what they do. Patrick was the tech who showed up with excellent customer service skills and personality to match. He completely checked the a/c system and made adjustments where needed. He also didn't leave before adjusting the vents and making sure to show me the air flow & how to use the Nest. I will surely be requesting his service next time I call NexGen.UPDATE: there is definitely something wrong with the Nest program or wiring. I wanted to Nest programmed and I was shown how to basically do it manually by turning the dial. Today/Thursday my house was 91° by 12:00 noon and although it said in 2 hrs before temperature would reach 74° it is 2:01 a.m. Friday & temperature is at 85° and still says in 2 hours. I Googled Nest and it says it could be the c-wire is not connected properly. Before Nexgen came out my house was cool all I needed was the thermostat reprogrammed. I will be calling later this morning complaining & to see how long a service call will take. Otherwise I will be contacting another company that can program a Nest thermostat. Not a happy camper.

Edward P did a great job at serving out heater and AC. He was very thorough and was able to explain everything in great detail. He provided photos and data from his sensors he placed around our house to make sure our unit was running correctly and more importantly safely. He offered solutions that could help our system run more efficiently and save us money on our monthly electric bill.Our biggest concern was that our heater would shut off every 10 mins. Turns out it was due to corrosion on a sensor. Edward cleaned the sensor and left it looking brand new. Now the heater runs with now issue!Usually I try to save money and do things myself but I would gladly pay to have this service done on a regular basis to make sure my HVAC is running optimally…and the best part is it saves me from having to squeeze into my attic!I’m glad I went with NexGen and I’m glad that Edward P was our service tech. First, they replaced my AC system. Then, shortly thereafter, because when it rains it pours, I ensure up with a clogged washer drain. My POS home warranty sent a competing plumbing company out who didn't even have a long enough snake. So I have to come back later. I call that next Monday and they couldn't come out until the following week. I was leaving for a months vacation leaving a tenet behind. So I fired them. I called Nexgen. They were here the next morning. He unclothed the drain, but unfortunately there are roots in the line. So this is going to be expensive. When I get back home, I can assure you Nexgen will be doing this job. Very professional, very responsive, very competent and knowledgeable.

They installed our current HVAC system four years ago and gave us an excellent price. We also have a maintenance agreement with them to service our units twice a year. After each service they make a pitch to upsell us some service/product. We usually say no, because the cost seems excessive. On the most recent call, they didn’t change our filters but said they did. Also after each service we have to remind them to give us a written record of services performed. When we request a written quote of their verbal recommendations, we never get one.

My Ac stop working and I was freaking out and I called NexGen and I was so nervous and scared that it was going to be something serious. Unfortunately, I was right our whole Ac system was trash. I was having a panic attack and when Eddie the technician came out he was telling me not to worry we were going to figure this out . He said I'm going to see what we can do to get you're house cooled down. It was a big issue so he did have to call his boss Marcus . Right off the bat Marcus was jolly and funny and calmed my boyfriend and I down . Eddie and Marcus together were amazing . You see I have pets and an 86 year old grandma and it was 101 degrees in our home so for these gentlemen to come in and sit in the heat with us and talk us through all our options and see what we could afford meant alot to us . They suffered in the house with us and for that I am so grateful. We are moving forward with a new ac its going to be an investment but in the long run we are going to be comfortable. Nex Gen will always be our go to people for anything broken in our home . They have shown us that they care and that they are not out to take all our money and rob us hahaha. That being said , a big shout out to Eddie and Marcus thank you guys so much for everything!!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!! My experience was very disappointing. I needed to get a diagnostic ccause my AC would stop owing cool ait after beibg on a couple hours. My unit is only 9 years old. Started off great, they introduced themselves, came same day, but their assessment was where it we t wrong for me. Told me I had a basic condensing unit so the lifespan is 10-12 years if taken care of. (my init is 9 years old) Made negative comments of the previous contractors installation, told me my Mfr. Warranty would not be honored because unit was not serviced every year. They gave me with a $6800 estimate to replace a bunch of parts and 2 other smaller estimates not recommended. Told them I wanted to discuss with my husband, then i get the comment so you guys are gonna live in the heat for awhile. The worst part is they left my unit is in some thermal lock out mode, so now I get NO cool air, its supposed to be 100+ degrees, oh and I cannot get a hold of technician. Really felt like I was trying to be sold a new HVAC system the whole time. 😕

They came just for a water leak diagnosis, and they ended up breaking a shower faucet. Water exploded out; this had never happened before until they touched it. Then they estimated a $2k+ amount for an immediate fix for something they broke. The valve was already old so I understand why, but it was still ridiculous. I went with a temporary fix (that they said wouldn't work, but it did). Fortunately everything went smoothly and the guys were really nice about it and explained everything well.

I had two different employees come out today as part of a package deal they offer! Pedro came to service the AC units and change the air filters. Later on in the day, Clemente came to service our tankless water unit. They both were on time, wore masks, and were very professional. I really liked how both employees explained each step of the process and why that process was important! I usually hire companies based on referrals and ratings, not necessarily price. My Mother used this company to perform an inspection on her furnace for the sale of her home. The technician came out and looked at her furnace and gave her a list of parts that needed to be replaced and quoted her $4,059.00. She decided to get a second opinion from another company who proceeded to tell her that she did not need any of these repairs and all she needed was a new transformer. The second company replaced the transformer and installed a new thermostat for a total cost of $135.00. Nexgen totally tried to rip my elderly mother off. Apparently this company is commission based and will try to sell you any parts they possibly can. The technician wrote up a quote for a cracked heat exchange and when her realtor asked about this part he told him that he never said she had a cracked heat exchange, yet he quoted her $3294.00 to replace it and wrote how dangerous a cracked heat exchange is.. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you want to be ripped off!

How do I give them negative stars? I don't even want to give them one!They refused to produce a written estimate, they overcharged me, double billed me, stood me up multiple times, failed to clean up behind themselves, failed to disclose future payment coming with they reimbursed the overpayment, and then failed to produce any paperwork for the job. Here's the story:I begged and begged for a written estimate. They refused. I called, texted, and emailed for one. I waited over a week into the job before I finally got one.When I did, it was wrong. They added a $6300 item I didn't need or want. They were going to destroy the concrete in the garage to tie into the other line without explaining it to me. I don't think so.They also double-billed me for an item.They had already charged my card for the entire amount.I made them take it off.They decided to reimburse me the amount they chose without a conversation.Now, months later, they are billing me for another grand.Meanwhile, they cleaned out the kitchen trap into my gravel and I've had to hire an exterminator, 3 times, to control the ant problem it caused.They promised to come out and investigate the smell coming from the bathroom. They forgot despite 2 reminders.I had to hire someone else to come to finish the job.And finally, they didn't tell me about the inspection the job required until months later. At the time of the first inspection appointment, I never heard from anyone. At 5 pm, I texted Nexgen. I was told their guy was late, and the inspector wanted to reschedule. But no one told me. I waited 5 hours. Then she told me the inspector left a note because I wasn't home. And THAT was the reason we didn't have an inspection. Turns out the inspector was 15 minutes early and had come and gone before our 4 hour window began. I took a picture of it and sent it to her. While you are busy blaming me, you were not here to know what happened. Your guy was late, the inspector was early, and I was on time. Take some responsibility. OWN YOUR SHIT!!I set up the next interview with the inspector and took care of it myself.Poor, poor, professionalism. I don't recommend them at all.*UpdateI emailed 6 times over 2 weeks to get an invoice that showed paid in full, registration paperwork, and a specific rebate (which I sent multiple times).They refused to respond.I tried calling. No one answered.I sent specific info that I needed to file for my gas rebate and alerted them to my deadline (today) to file.Still no response. Not even I'm working on it.It's funny that when they wanted their money, they called, texted, and emailed several times a day.Seems once they got their money, they didn't care what I needed.I was reduced to calling corporate to get anyone to respond.

NexGen called me to alert me to the free service I had coming on the two systems we installed last April, and wanted to make sure I scheduled it before the 1 year period ran out. I had actually forgotten we had this benefit so I definitely appreciated the follow-up call. Andy, their Tech, came out (on time) and went over the service with me and asked if I had any questions or would like him to perform anything special on the system. I DID want to check the balancing and be sure about which units were operating which thermostats. We had a thermostat, and return ducts and controllable venting installed for each of the 3 bedrooms, in addition to the two new thermostats controlling (1) the master bedroom and 2(2) the family room/ kitchen living area. All thermostats can be remotely controlled with the Honeywell iPhone app, which is a real plus when returning from a trip and you want to have the house cooled down before you arrive. Andy checked the entire system's ductwork in the attic and the compressor units outside and mad adjustments that I asked him to on the airflow in the master bedroom and bathroom. He even gave me a chart the he drew up for me letting me know which thermostats (6) are operating on which of the 2 systems. Our system required heavy duty filters and Andy doesn't normally carry that size (5 thick) in his truck, so he went to the supply house and picked them up, and came right back and finished up the service call. Andy covered all of my questions and adjusted the system at no charge on his routine service call.NexGen, and ALL of their Tech's (like Andy) are extremely professional and knowledgeable; and very well trained on providing exceptional customer service. I would recommend them to ANYONE looking to repair or update their heating and air conditioning systems. We spent a considerable amount of money replacing bot systems, plus adding a garage unit, but it has been worth every penny of the investment and the service has been beyond what we expected.

The plumber arrived on-time, even finding an earlier appointment than the one I had booked, calling first to see if that would work for me. He took the time to explain what’s happening with my pipes, explain the best path forward, and provide a price quote. He even performed some minor repairs while here, such as replacing an outdoor faucet and checking on why a bathroom faucet’s pressure was so low. In my scenario, because my pipes are about 70 years old, no repair was possible at this time and a total repipe is required instead. The issue I called the plumber out for (a slow bathtub drip and broken faucet handle) could not be repaired today, but now I know the best path forward and have an estimate to save up towards. Because my issue could not be fixed today, in my case there was no charge for the service call. I really appreciate the inspection, the explanations, and the estimate, as well as the minor repairs that were on the house! When I have the money saved up for the repipe, I’ll be calling NexGen back. Thanks!

Patrick was on time responsive and professional. Unfortunately Patrick said it was going to be expensive over $1,200 even with discounts. When I told him I had homeowners and could he do it through them he told me he didn't know but that definitely would be the better way to go. When I called fidelity and ask them if nextgen could do it, they said they would have to get a report from one of their contracted companies. They called Marina heating and air conditioning who came out and first said I was half a pound life on the freon. Then have to looking at all the information that I gave them from Patrick they said that everything was just fine you have full amount of freon and there is no problem. Obviously this is a day later and 80° in the house and something is obviously wrong. I took pictures at various showing the time and temperature and temperature setting as I had been instructed to do by Oleg. I am really hoping that Patrick will send a full report so I can attempt to get some solution in place

My AC went out completely in my house and I needed new duct work because there was asbestos covering my old ducts. I called Nexgen because 1. I’ve heard their advertisements on the radio and tv a lot and thought they must be doing something right if they can spend all that money on marketing & 2. They have a lot of good reviews online on both Yelp and Google. When I called them, they came out the same day and I was greeted by a sales rep named Zach Negrette. Dude was straight forward and didn’t BS me or try to upsell me at all. He showed me pictures of how the work would look when completed and that is exactly how it looked when it was done. The installers Hugo and Julio did a great job at my house installing everything. They cleaned up after themselves each day they were here and made sure I understood everything that they were doing. I have dogs as well, so they were very patient with me while I put them in different areas so that they could work. I would highly recommend NexGen to anyone needing HVAC work done. Even after the job has been completed Zach has been responsive to my texts and phone calls with the questions that I have had after the install. Sales men (especially car sales men) usually don’t answer or provide good customer service once the sale is done, but this is not true for Zach or anyone from NexGen that I have dealt with so far. If I could give this company 6 stars I would.

Service guy Julio was very nice, very knowledgeable but the rates are outrageous. He quoted $1,800 to install a water heater that I would provide. It only takes 2-3 hours to do the job! $600 an hour! When I told him I was going to shop around he dropped it to $1,500. Gee thanks! Now it's only $500 an hour! Mind you this is a water heater in a house that was fully updated in 2007. No electrical, ventilation or plumbing work is needed...just a basic swap. Unless you have money to burn try somebody else.

Nothing crazy. I mean, there was no option to do a list of what's important, and what's lease important, but everything should be done on this holiday saving. Wow, never using them again. Roger was the technician that came out to help me and Regan was the awesome point man. I had condensation build up that led to a leak from an old HVAC unit at my office. Not only did Roger come out the same day, he made an appointment with me and texted me to let me know he would be 1.5 hours early! Knowing my medical office was in dire need, he made sure to get it fixed immediately. This was my 3rd company and should've been my first. Unlike the other two techs, Roger took a video and snapped pictures and explained EVERYTHING in DETAIL what I needed in a systematic outlined detailed report. Blown away by the efficiency and professionalism he displayed and took his time with me. There is a HUGE difference between companies in quality and efficiency. I am commenting on the skill and professionalism of the field manager Travis and plumbing expert Abraham that helped me. They are excellent at their job and found the source of the leak in my siding. They deserve 5/5 and are awesome. However, I am disappointed by their marketing ploy. I called nexgen based on the advertisement on their website Free leak detection with repair ad for $268 promotional offer expiring soon. I called them to confirm if it includes the price of repair and they said yes. However, I learned from the technicians who visited that this price did not include the repair cost. This I thought was very deceptive. I give them 1/5 stars to the company for this but 5/5 to the techs. So, my leak has been found thankfully but I cannot afford the expensive repair at this time. The two techs were very knowledgeable and experienced and didn't waste any time in getting to the source of the problem in detecting the leak.

The major reason for the 1star rating was for lack of professionalism and trust. Moreover, it you use their online booking system for an appointment, it is not really a set in stone date and time? I had scheduled an appointment for a specific date and time, with email confirmation of said date and time, only to be contacted by a service representative whom stated, the online system is not a true date and time; also, it hasn't been working right the past few days so we can't be out there today, as you scheduled. Very poor communication and customer service if they knew the online system was not working properly and did nothing about it. I have since moved on to another service for my plumbing job.

I am a priory manager. I called Nexgen out for a blocked toilet. Their tech removed our toilet and claimed he could not get his cable to run more than 5 feet. He claimed this was because of old and failing galvanized pipes. He said he needed a supervisor to come from another city, after we waited, This supervisor never came out. He also recommended running a camera through the pipes which was not done. After failing to actyally assess the situation he recommended a $1200 service hydro jetting. Also said we had old pipes needing replacement for $2750 and recommended replacing a toilet for $900. Disgusting prices. Also a ridiculous suggestion to recommend first hydro jetting the problem pipes and then replace them as well. I'm sure some people are naive enough to listen to this sheister's recommendations but I was not.The main concern is that he recommended replacing old galvanized pipes which we do not have. All the plumbing under the house is new and does not need to be replaced. I had another plumber come out the following day who said there is absolutely nothing wrong with our plumbing.The tech from Nexgen, Diego, had already placed the toilet back on and it was working, flushing, draining with no problems. I was not present but my tenant was to witness this. He then called me to recommended this unnecessary repairs, said there was a leak under the house which caused me to call another vendor out to address. That vendor actually did assess the situation properly, showed me pictures of under the house; no leak at all.

You don't come across such a professional and honest company now a days. These guys were beyond that. I had a thermostat malfunction and they were able to accommodate fairly quickly. Andy was very helpful in determining what went wrong with our thermostat. Not only did he fix the problem, he explained to me what went wrong and how to fix it. I would definitely recommend these guys for any issues with your HVAC in the future.

From the moment I called, they understood and appreciated my emergency need regarding my air conditioning not properly cooling. Even though they were heavily booked during a Summer heatwave, I received same day service....on a Sunday!!!! My technician Sal was super friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He was thorough, documenting everything he did and saw, including taking photos of everything with his cellphone. One important footnote. I only wish I had originally purchased my HVAC system from NexGenAir. They have a lifetime warranty on their products!! God bless this Company and their associates.

Tim Eagleson was absolutely amazing, kind, caring, very professional, prompt, conscientious, extremely knowledgeable, and in doing so, thoroughly provided detailed information regarding system units specifications, warranties, options, etc... He exhibited exemplary care and concern regarding my heating AC/Heating needs while thoroughly describing the various options and specs. The AC technicians, Gustavo and Arturo also were Outstanding. They arrived promptly, very professional, covering the floors leading to the work area, and performed quality work in installing the Heating and AC unit to include thermostat. The AC runs perfectly distributing cool air evenly to both the 1st and 2nd floor. What a relief!!! The AC technicians thoroughly cleaned up after the installation. BEWARE!! WRONG DIAGNOSIS, TRIED TO RIP ME OFF WITH INSANELY HIGH QUOTE AND LEFT FREON CAPS OFF VALVES!! I had Eddie as my service guy he told me that he tested everything and I needed a new fan motor he quoted me $1,219. I told him that was too expensive and I wanted more quotes so he charged me $88 diagnostics fee. I got a quote from Ronnie jones AC and heating of between $400-500 for same part. Ronnie came out and thankfully decided not to take nex gen’s word and did his own testing he saw that the technician never even checked the capacitor because there was tape still on it Ronnie checked it and realized that was the actual issue he charged me $250 and my air is working better then ever! He also noticed that Eddie the technician left both my Freon caps off the lines! this can cause Freon to slowly leak out and then guess what? They get u for more money refilling the Freon. This company is trying to scam innocent people out of there money!! I hope this helps you!! Call ronnie he is very sweet and honest

George Guido was fantastic! He spent a lot of time thoroughly explaining what needed to be done in order to fix the problems I was having. After his diagnosis, he provided me with many photos of his findings and presented me with several options to solve the problems. He was not pushy for a sale, he just helpful me to make an informed decision.George was on time, very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He cleaned as he worked and everything was spotless once he was finished working. He walked me through each step of the process along the way with photos. When he was finished he went through everything one more time to make ensure that I fully understood the services that he had provided. He also informed me of what I could expect in the future.I work from home and even while working with the large machines, I was not disrupted from my work. He was very quiet and courteous. Started off slow. Was supposed to be here between 8-9 Monday morning. At first i was thinking OMG, what did i get myself into?. I texted Jeff, who then had Jessica call me. They apologize they had two crews at 1 job, so they sent 1 of the crews over to my place. Got to my house by 11am! The 3 gentlemen showed up, were cool dudes, sociable to anything I asked nice guys, cleaned up their mess, and told me they would return Tuesday morning to finish up. They showed up on time, got the job done, keep me in the loop of things, showed me how everything works. Wouldn't mind having the same crew back if i need anything in the future! I highly recommend NEXGEN as they were top notch in every aspect. I was quickly scheduled for a walk though with Zach as we discussed an entire HVAC replacement to replace the original (27 years old) that came with the house. Zach was on time, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He gave me options and explained the pros/cons of each. He sent Gustavo to my house the following day to ensure that the install I requested, could be performed. After Gustavo's walk through, we scheduled the install which was predicted to take 3 days. Gustavo's team was amazing! 3 days later, install complete. I was given a tour of the entire system to allow a self inspection. Gustavo handed me all of the installation/operator's manuals and went over them in detail. Final step was pairing my phone with the Ecobee thermostats that were also installed...took about 5 minutes. System performed flawlessly and I can't even describe how much better this system is than the old system (but based on age...I'm sure you get my point). Zach checked in with me regularly during the install to ensure things were going smoothly. Once complete, Zach scheduled his final walk though and debrief. NEXGEN hit it out of the park!!!!

This company is beyond amazing in service and they truly care.... it starts at the top from the owner.... truly a family with caring heart! I called for a friend who has a son that was ill. Their son is a transplant survivor and went through a biopsy procedure. The procedure went well but he had a terrible reaction and they had to bring him back to the ER. Their AC went out just as their son was reaching nearly 104 temp! I called and explained the urgency to NexGen and they were able to get their AC up and running in a matter of hours, all for the cost of a service call of less than $100!! Did I mention this all took place during a severe hot spell on Labor Day Weekend!! I can’t tell you how impressed I am with NexGen....their honest service is what makes them GREAT. My friend will likely need a new AC system as their unit is quite old and they will be calling NexGen when that time comes! This is a prime example of why NexGen is the best. When you find a company with great service AND one that is honest.... no need to look any further! NexGen will be my “go to” for all my Air Conditioning, Heating and Plumbing needs forever! Very professional company with outstanding customer service! I needed the NEST doorbell installed and I was able to get an appointment within a week. The gentleman was prompt and courteous as well as the company calling to confirm and notify me that he was in my driveway. Not many businesses run so efficiently any longer but Nexgen impressed us incredibly. It was raining and the installer did bring and use shoe covers entering my home. The entire job took under an hour and he went through the settings & operation of the devise to ensure we were happy. I would most definitely call them again!

The technician was great and actually arrived early. The reason for my rating is the pricing. My A/C had a coolant leak in it and needed to be fixed and totally recharged. I was charged $83 a pound for r410a refrigerant which is excessive since their wholesale cost is less than $5.00 (five dollars) a pound. While I realize they need to mark up their services for a profit, I was also charged $247 to fix the leak. I am posting this as a warning for people who need service. Their pricing is at least a few hundred dollars higher than it should be. Again great service, AWFUL pricing. I don't know if this is their normal pricing, or if they were simply taking advantage of people during a heat wave. Either way, you probably want to call somebody else.To the owner who posted a response: Despite great service from your tech, I have lowered my rating to a 1. The reason for this is that despite posting that you would contact me AND my filling out your internal review stating I would like to be contacted, you have FAILED to do so. It seems that you posted a response to simply make it look like management cares what customers think to others who read these reviews.I am changing this review again. Management finally got back to me after about a month and made every effort to make me happy. Again, the technician service was great, I am leaving the rating as a four due to the length of time management took, but I am happy with their service.

Our air conditioner went out yesterday in 90° weather with a 1 year old baby in the house. I called Nexgen as the reviews looked good. Said they could be out in about 2 hours. Received a call stating they could be out sooner which was great. Our technician Roger Cuadra came out and had it going in no time. He also took the time to do a quick inspection and let us know the condition of our ducts in the attic. Not once did he act like a pushy salesperson! Experience with the technician was great.Only reason for 4 star is that I never got a call confirming my appointment and they called when in route which caused my wife to have to scramble to be ready.Overall- will use again.

AC was having issue, they recommended I replace all my vents $5600. Received a second opinion from another HVAC company, they had me open all my events and change ac filter, issue resolved immediately. Looking back at NextGen, they never bothered to even look at the filter.

Edwin came to do our first year A/C tune up, he was extremely Proffesional and polite. He walked us through the whole process and gave us some tips on how to maintain our ac. Originally he didn’t have one of our ac filter with him due to rare size but that did not stop there. He went himself to Home Depot and purchased our ac filter and came back to drop it off. Now that’s top service ! I highly recommend Next Gen, if you get lucky to have Edwin as your tech you won’t be disappointed.
