They were pleasant, professional and took the stress of me, finding some one can do the job and for a fraction of the other quotes I had. There job deserved much more money than they asked for.

Removal of wall mirror

I needed 3 laminate flooring planks replaced. Our handyman, James, arrived not only replaced the damaged planks, but also tightened the floor up by bringing all the other planks together that had separated due to expansion. He did a very quick, clean and thorough job!

I found Mr. Handyman serving after some research online and I came out a very satisfied customer. I knew exactly what I wanted and estimator was very efficient in finding me what I was looking for. I was in and out of the store in less than a couple of hours. I can't remember the last time shopping was such a breeze. Prices are also incredible compared to other retailers.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Had the worst experience with Sandi she was all around very rude. They very much lack customer service and lack professionalism. I had scheduled an appointment that I had confirmed which was canceled for allegedly not confirming and ignoring them which is completely FALSE. She wouldn’t schedule another appointment for me because “She didn’t feel comfortable” because of me “They missed out on jobs that could have been scheduled because of my appointment”. Sandi’s attitude was just unpleasant. A company that has been in business for sometime should have the knowledge of excellent customer service and professionalism. Seems like they hired the wrong individual to represent them. AFTER I sent proof of my confirmation text and Sandi did nothing else to help. After all the blaming and shunning me for being “unreliable” they still don’t care about their customers because Sandi did not try and schedule another appointment although the cancellation was their fault, she was just giving me the run around and excuses “ I can try and fit you into next week” but told my assistant that there was availability next week. I wouldn’t bother with this place again. I had a deadline and because of them I’ve missed it and they didn’t care!!! Don’t waste your time here because they will definitely waste yours.

The technician was great - the cost was exorbitant. To sand/varnish the bottom of a sink cabinet, cut a cabinet liner to size, and mount four fire alarms (not even the brackets for two of them) - cost $300 for 1.75 hours of work. Will never use again.

I had three shelves installed in a niche in my new home. The company was prompt and responsive. Trevor did an excellent job installing the shelves. The walls weren’t square or even, but he was careful and was able to install the shelves so you can’t tell. Then he carefully retouched areas with paint.

He finished everything by the time our studio was due to open and we truly appreciate that as it didn't disturb our business or clients. Sandy the dispatcher and line of communication when booking was equally as amazing. She made it super easy to book. The day of they also send you a message and photo of the person who is going to help you. It makes it easier to find the person who is there to help, but also a sense of security. Quick, Friendly, and Professional Services. They moved a heavy (339 lbs) Dining Table up a flight of stairs and assembled in the Dining room. They also took all trash out to the garage when they were done.

I called yesterday and scheduled an appointment. And they gave me an appointment for the next day. Which is today from 12-2 (my window of my service) I called in the morning to confirm that. And the receptionist did confirm it. However it’s almost 3 right now and I kept calling multiple times to ask if someone going to come today and No response! What a waste of time..

James climbed a ladder up into the rafters of my garage where boxes are stored that I can no long reach, and he brought them down--a dirty, strenuous job that he did with care and patience. He also did a meticulous job of power washing and staining my redwood deck, and of painting an enormous wall in my living room. This service is worth every penny.

I had been trying to keep my side gate attached to our concrete wall for a couple of years now, but to no avail. Trevor showed up with all of the materials and tools needed to do it right. He installed a new jamb to the wall and rebuilt the gate with it's original facing. I am sure the job took longer than his estimate, but he stuck to his original quote. He could have saved me hours of disappointment had I called him years ago!

I had wire shelving installed in 3 closets, caulking done on the bathtub fixtures and around toilet base, and reset garage door remotes. The work was done efficiently and professionally by Erik, the technician. After the work was done, he loaded 2 large suitcases on one of the higher shelves that I couldn't reach. He gave me practical advice on possible storage solutions in the garage and various ways to program the garage doors (remotes, keypad). I appreciated both his work and helpfulness.

The manner in which your website assessed what we needed felt secure and professional. We appreciated the experience, knowledge & expertise of Michael Fleck, the technician who came to our home and handled our three Handyman fixes & repairs for us. It was an excellent idea to send your text message with his picture and background info to us prior to his arriving at our door, so that we knew he was from your service and not some inexperienced scammer. You appear to have several very experienced technicians to call up with each person's expertise matching the job/project that we would need help with. Definitely a keeper for future needs

The technician Oscar was very friendly and was able to finish the job on a timely fashion. We ran into a small issue with two of the lights flickering then we figured out the issue and swapped out the components and made it work. Thank you!

My Handyman, Derek, was promptly on time, had a nice attitude and did the work of doing final assembly on my electric bike. This was a project that in hindsight should have been done by a certified bike mechanic. Though I told the office when I made the appointment that certain items would be needed to accomplish the service, these requests were not relayed to the technician. I informed Derek that I had a video produced by the company on how to accomplish the assembly. He started to do the work to the point where it was going to be incorrect...I had to stop him and insist that he watch before proceeding. When he left I was about to take my first ride when I found that the chain was off the gears and with help of friends was able to correct this issue. This should have been caught by Derek before he left. I would use this service again but not for technical work.

James was on time, had all of the necessary tools to do the job and had my tv mounted on the wall in an hour and a half.

My toilet was leaking for a while. It was supposed to be 1 hour job. Oscar brought the material and fixed it in just half an hour. He even offered to do other repairs free in my house to use that free half hour. It was a great job and I really appreciated!

Erik from Mr. Handyman called to let me know he had a cancellation and would it be ok to come early instead of at his appointment time. I said yes I'd love to see you early. He said he would be at my house in 30 minutes and he was right on time! I wanted two grab bars installed in the master bath/shower and when Erik looked at what I bought he didn't want to install them. He said they weren't real grab bars and he didn't feel comfortable installing something that he knew would not be safe for us to use! Wow! That is awesome customer service. So he took me to Home Depot where he helped me pick out the right kind of bars for our shower and he installed them and they are wonderful! He also installed a couple of small door knobs on a tv cabinet. This proves that no job is too small for Mr. Handyman! I have already started my list of jobs for Erik for next time and the time after that! This is a great company - quality people who deliver quality work and quality customer service! Thank you!

I appreciate the full service aspect of this company, from start to finish, I felt every person I came in contact with, listened and responded to my requests and questions. The extent of the work was discussed as was the cost.
I also liked that they sent me a photo and information about the handyman coming to work on my house. That really made me feel more comfortable. I was notified via text when Jose was on his way and he arrived on the agreed upon time.
I had roof tiles repaired; the work was well done and the price was reasonable. I will definitely use Mr. Handyman Irvine again.

Company is responsive, professional and friendly. They did great work. They installed stairs in my crawl space in my garage . I will be using them again.

We had our backsplash redone. Brandon is a true artist and very professional. Everything was clean as he constantly maintained the area even as he was demoing the old tile. The new tiles he worked hard to ensure fit beautifully - honestly a work of art. Very highly recommend.

We used Mr. Handyman to install baseboard, a vanity and faucet. The vanity needed to to have a slot cut in the side to fit over the drain. The baseboard needed to be notched to get the vanity close to the wall. Brandon did a wonderful job! Very professional.

I was DECEIVED. VERY disappointed. HUGE waste of $$$. STAY AWAY.

Here is the story:

I submitted the service request online to have someone install my new touchpad lock on the front door. In the request, I provided the specific brand and model number of the lock.

One day later a lady called me to schedule the service time. On the phone, I intentionally asked if the service guy has installed the lock before. The lady said of course, all of our service people are experienced. I double checked and told her if she can see the info I entered in the service request. Still, she gave me a positive answer.

On the day and time as scheduled, the service guy showed up. However, when looking at the touchpad lock I have, he said he has NEVER installed this kind of lock before. He looks legit and says he can get the job done, so I decided to take the chance, and then the nightmare began.

Although he seems nice he just CAN'T get the job done like a professional handyman. I reminded him a couple of times because he was putting some parts upside down. He also dropped his tools or lock parts on the floor several times. He also tried to drill a new hole on the door to install the new handle but I again had to remind him that the length of the handle can be adjusted so there is no need to drill a new hole. He had to constantly look at the instruction. That being said, it took him TWO HOURS just to remove the old lock and install the new lock. The new touchpad lock still needs to be programmed, and clearly, he had no idea about how to do it.

This place charges you by time ($100/HOURS) plus service fee. So every second the service guy trying to figure out how to do his job I was losing money for nothing. Not to mention the lady on the phone totally lied to me. I could avoid all this bs if she had told me the fact. This is a place with no honesty. Don’t go.

Eric showed up on time and completed our plumbing needs to our satisfaction.

I had a flood in my condo and had to get all new cabinets. Mr. Handyman had the best cabinet installation price of the several I checked. I was a little worried because I'd never used them before but the references on-line were very good and I, too found their work to be exceptional! Trevor handled our job and he was simply wonderful, very knowledgeable and precise in his work. I had waited 3 months for our new cabinets to arrive and when Trevor unboxed them we found that all but one of them was damaged. Rather than wait another 3 months, Trevor suggested a local cabinet maker (405 Cabinets) which had inventory on hand. We were literally able to pick up new cabinets the same day so our remodel could proceed on schedule. Love the result! It is very hard to find good help in Orange County -- half the time people don't even show up. I found Sandy, their receptionist, to be very responsive and Trevor was punctual, friendly and always cleaned up at the end of the day. I believe the reward for good work is more work and I am already planning on using them again on an electric project to install recessed lights and ceiling fan in the living room. Highly, highly recommend!

Service from dispatch and handyman was excellent. I am so grateful that I called on a day with an open slot and got all my to-do items completed for the sale of my condo. I will definitely call again and highly recommend to anyone needing a handyman.

I hired Mr. Handyman to complete some touch ups on our walls in our house, repaint the garage door, front door, and outside gate, and around our new light fixtures.

Danny Lopez was our technician who showed up. I knew something was weird when he said that it would take 2 hours for sherwin Williams to make the paint colors even with the codes that I obtained from our HOA. He said his company charges $124/hour so to save on costs I went to get the sherwin Williams paint. It took only 30 minutes including travel time. Fishy!

He did a great job repainting the front door, outside gate, and garage door.

The problems came up when he started to repaint inside the house. He took what was repainting two silver dollar sized areas that were patched up to having them become a 6inx6in square section that he repainted. He then retextured underneath each lighting fixture, but, then painted all of the areas with the wrong color of the wall.

Yes, I provided him with the paint. But, use some common sense… if the paint color doesn’t match, don’t continue repainting the walls with the wrong color!!!

Then he wanted to charged me 1 hour to match a sample of the wall color if he went to Home Depot.

I said wrap it up take your stuff and we’re ending this project early.

Then I contacted the company and spoke to Sandi. I explained what happened, provided her photos of his shoddy work, and she reluctantly refund nearly 50% of the cost of the project.

One of the biggest problems with his work… Danny disposed of paint in my recycling bin. So when it wash trash day, unbeknownst to me, the paint went into the recycling truck. Big environmental issue! I provided Sandi with photos of the bin and they had another technician come to my house and wash out the bin. Where did he dispose of the waste water??? I don’t know where.

Now I have to repaint the areas he did.

Just steer clear of this company.

They charged me twice for the same services. This is disappointing because the company was so highly rated. Again, I reiterate steer clear of this company.

Slow in addressing my requests, but quick and cost effective when doing the work.
