This was a consultation for an outdoor gas line. Chris was Great. He knows what he was doing, in details he explained the procedure with its pros & cons. Including the proper code for installation. This job was not a must to do. My wife and I Decided that we can do without if this job was a must, Tom Muffett is the right company to do the job. I booked an appointment after having a horrible smell come from my bathroom sink. Customer service called to let me know that Brian was on his way the morning of my appointment. Brian was on time, professional and explained everything to me. He provided me with an estimate prior to starting any work and after he finished, cleaned up and asked me to inspect the work. I am very happy with the entire experience and while I hope to not need more plumping work, if I do, I know who I am calling.

Upon Arrival Jeremy greeted us with a great attitude. He was very professional and worked out the clogged issue. Once finished he cleaned his area and explained the worked performed in detail. Plumbing problems are never a picnic but working with Tom Moffett Plumbing turned it into a positive experience. Chris P and John were professional, exceptionally knowledgeable, resourceful and friendly. This was a big job to replace sewer pipes. They dealt with our large tree roots, pool pump lines, hardscape and came up with the least invasive solution. They were very neat and tidy and they worked hard and sometimes stayed very late. This company is very customer service oriented and like their radio ad says, they are now our personal plumbers. Many thanks to Chris P for a job well done. He is a real asset to the company.

Justin was great. Would highly recommend. On time, personable. Careful of our home and held to advertised $90 for drain cleaning. No hard up selling. Accurate price and services description before making appointment. Called 2 other companies first and accused one of misleading info. NexGen web site said $53 drain cleaning. Was told that would $83 for upstairs drain and the fee would just be for a cost estimate with $83 cost deducted from estimate cost if service provided. In spite of asking a couple times, would not offer even a normal price range to snake the drain. Another company did flat all inclusive quote of $250 which I felt was too high. They were at least straight forward. You guys were top notch.

I used Tom Moffett Plumbing for a very cool service they have to identify leaks in the your home sewage system that may be very hard to find with conventional tools- they use smoke to locate leaks in vents, pipes etc. The smoke becomes an instant tell- tale of the source of the leak. Connor and his team were on time, very professional and went out of their way to locate the leak and help me out. They made a long trek to get here but i really appreciate the top quality service. Thanks guys!

The guys were fantastic. Start to finish I had a great experience. My freestanding tub filler has been leaking literally for months. I am always leery of plumbers and it feels impossible to find a dependable, honest one. These guys were great. They fixed it in 20 minutes and it cost $5. I asked for the training program that they offer on some services and you only pay for parts and labor is free. Going to have them replace my 20 year old water heater soon.

I've been going through B grade plumbers in Big Bear my entire adult life. No longer. These guys were beyond good. The fix was not easy to figure out, but they got done, and done really well. Needed to have both toilets tuned up. Both had water that would run. Jeremy arrived promptly, was great with my old golden retriever and provided thorough explanations on everything that needed to be done. Pricing was good and had needed parts with him. Did not have to leave and come back. Happy I purchased the family plan.

Technician Vince and Albert were great and helpful but ended up not using the service.

Kody, from Tom Moffett Plumbing, has completed several jobs for us over the last three years and we could not be happier with his work or the quality and professionalism of this company. We will not go to another plumber.

Two of our drains needed to be serviced. The bathroom was plugged up and the kitchen drain was slow. Since our plumber retired, we saw the Moffett Plumbing ad for $90 drain cleaning and decided to give them a try. The technician was on time, friendly and did clean up afterwards. He stated that the $90 only applied to the bathroom because the kitchen needed extensive work to clear and it was also going to be a very dirty job since he had to remove the trap (which, by the way, every other plumber we've ever used has done at no extra charge.) While we did agree to this, the extensive work and very dirty job part wasn't an issue. He finished the kitchen work in the same time frame as the bathroom and only removed a small amount of water. So we paid the $90 for the bathroom in addition to $90 plus an additional $250 for the kitchen for a total of $440. So please be aware that the $90 is only if they don't remove the trap (otherwise it will cost you $340!!). When I called to address this situation I was told that this was the rate and was offered a free drain cleaner instead of a partial refund. He said he'd check with his manager. I never received a call back nor did I receive the cleaner. We will never use Moffett Plumbing ever again.

Great service

We got the drain pipes of our ENTIRE home replaced with Moffett. After about 5-6 different quotes, we decided on Moffett given their long standing reputation & pricing. I could not speak more highly of Brian and Vince. Brian thoroughly explained where and what needed to be done. Answered any and all questions we had. Brian was very efficient when working under our home to get the drain pipes replaced, and had a GREAT attitude the entire 3 days of the project. As for Vince, he came out a few days later to check on a couple things.He too was efficient, and made sure to walk me through several options in regard to pricing. And man, what a genuine / personable guy! Brian & Vince, THANK YOU GUYS. They made what seemed like a long & overwhelming project SEAMLESS. The team work, professionalism, and quality of service was outstanding.

Jonathan and Vinnie replaced an 8 foot drain pipe in the wall between our den and kitchen and installed a new hot water tank in our garage. They were very meticulous with their work and care for our home. I’d recommend using these guys anytime.

My water heater's burner malfunctioned and I was in desperate need for hot water. Brian Rowles came out and diagnosed the problem, we got the part and it was fixed in less than 24 hours.Everything about Tom Moffett Plumbing is extremely professional. From the courtesy call and email letting me know that Brian will be arriving at my home was great. The email even had a picture of the person that was supposed to arrive.Upon arrival, Brian is extremely polite, professional, and cognizant of keeping everything tidy and clean before & after the job.I also signed up for their warranty program which includes a yearly home plumbing inspection, which I had recently. I received immediate assistance, regarding a septic tank issue, via the Chat on their website. I was able to explain issue and set up an appointment for a few days later, as it was not an emergency. On the appointed day, I received a text stating the arrival time and a phone call. The technicians, Vincent, and Samuel were great. Very pleasant and neat with their procedures. They explained all charges prior to work (no surprises).They completed a very thorough inspection and had called their supervisor, while there, to begin the process of presenting my options. I have an older home that had long ago been connected to city sewer, but apparently the septic tank was not properly abandoned (collapsed and filled in). If you find a sinkhole in your front yard, like I did, this may be your problem. Give Moffett Plumbing a call.

He asked me questions and really listened to helped me understand my water heater was about to quit working. Today, Felix installed our new water heater and we're very pleased with the service. Service was super-prompt, and the water heater installation was very well done by Conner and Vincent, but be forewarned that even a quick and easy job will be very expensive. On top of the cost of the new water heater--which I researched--I paid almost two thousand dollars for an uncomplicated installation that took less than an hour. And that was for the lowest-cost option, not for an extended warranty. The service, however, is good, friendly, and reliable.

Nate Murphy was very professional, polite, and knowledgeable about our plumbing concerns. He was also very patient with us regarding explaining what he was doing to solve our problem and how to prevent the problem from reoccurring. I am Robert Ungar and been a club member of Tom Moffett Plumbing since 2014. I am very happy with the work Tom Moffett Plumbing does on my home. Chris D. and Adam of Tom Moffett Plumbing, Inc. did plumbing work at my home this last week. Chris D. installed a new whole house carbon filtration system for my inside the house water supply. Chris D. did a really great job educating me about this system. I would have not bought this system if Chris D. had not educated me about this system. I really like this system, and it provides me water that is much healthier and cleaner. It is much better for my home plumbing system. I already have experienced the great benefits of this system. Chris D. also did my free annual inspection I receive with my club membership. He did a very complete and careful inspection. Adam put a liner on my complete outside sewer system piping because it was in bad shape. He also replaced my water service piping with a better kind of piping because it was in bad shape. Adam did a very complete and careful job and explained in great detail what was going on. Adam left my jobsite very clean when he was done. Chris D. and Adam took a lot of time with me, explained things in detail, and answered all my questions. They seem very knowable, nice, and friendly and made me very feel very comfortable and satisfied with their work. I give them my highest recommendations.

Moffett Plumbing is the best! Nate and Jose spent a lot of time painstakingly hydro-blasting my kitchen sewer line. Explained everything and showed me the the camera view before and after. Great guys.

My old lowboy toilet had a fill line and broken valve leaking. Chris, my technician, had to pull the toilet to get to it because the space behind it was very limited, so no suprise.Chris and I went over 3 options to fix the problem. I picked one n he got to work. After the toilet was off he found the floor flange was rusted and broken. Chris modified my options, I picked one and he went back to it.The process took 2 days because the visits were both in the afternoons. On day 2 Chris brought Vincent with him and the two finished the job. I found they were both very professional and extremely friendly and open, this was nice, because of their positive attitude, I didn't feel any pressure.They did a great job! I am very pleased and will call them again if I have any more plumbing problems. I highly recommend Tom Moffett Plumbing.

I figure, we could try that first and if it didn't fix the problem then they could give me a quote for fixing it. Well, it did fix the problem! And it was 100% free! Nate and Jeremy offered to look at other plumbing issues I may have around the house. I never felt pressured or taken advantage of in any way- they seemed very honest and helpful. I'll be calling on them for future needs.

I took advantage of the training program and couldn’t be happier. I had an annoying leak under my sink, not a lot of water but enough to let me know something wasn’t right. I called and was given a one hour window for my appointment! They arrived on the earlier side of the one hour window. They set up mats to keep my home clean. They introduced themselves, Vince as the apprentice and Scott as his teacher. Vince listened to the information I had, then quickly diagnosed the issue. Explained what it was thoroughly and went to the truck to get the parts needed. They returned and gave me the estimate and began work. Vince worked carefully and while Scott made small talk with me, he never took his eyes off Vince and gave him hints and corrections where needed. They made the whole process fun and enjoyable. They cleaned up after and even offered to return the items under the sink for me. I was very happy with my experience and would happily recommend Moffett Plumbing.

My service professional was Buddy. He was amazing. He installed a new water heater upstairs, installed new facets over wash machine, but most of all, he found me a new kitchen sink and installed it. My original contractor who did my kitchen remodel installed a 50 lb cast iron sink improperly and it broke loose and started to fall. My contractor was unwilling to come fix it. He kept ghosting me. Buddy was the only one willing to take on this very difficult job. He went above and beyond my expectations. It was very difficult to find a sink that would fit but he did and made it work. We had an bi-annual inspection for our plumbing scheduled , and a few days ago I noticed what sounded like sprinklers going off, but we didn’t have any going off. Brian and Sam arrived on time as scheduled and I approached them about it and immediately they went to work identified the issue, Did do a repair and then completed the inspection of our house. They found corrosion in areas that we had not been able to see. They were very reasonable, respectful, not pushy and efficient and we had water heater installed and the pinhole leak and a wall pipe patched up. I am very grateful to them as although it was a sweltering day. They never complained , and explained everything as we went along. I never felt talked down too. Very grateful to have professional tradespeople available to me.

Honest,Professional. I really could not put into words the customer service I received. Found this company on Home Advisor and glad I did. Ricky showed up within the hour, spent some time locating all my breaks in very old plumbing Kevin came out we disgused all options since I'm on a slab floor. Job started the next day bright and early. Had the pleasure of Ricky & Adam doing their thing my plumbing works wonderful.2 days they were done patched up etc... We LOVE Vince! He solved a sewer smell issue which had been haunting us for years! We had multiple plumbers, handymen, general contractors and even an HVAC technician come out and try to figure out the cause of the horrible rotten egg smell and that would come and go in our home. We didn’t know what to do, but Vince from Moffett Plumbing performed a fog/smoke test and was able to locate a broken sewer vent hidden away in our attic and was able to fix the issue the same day. It’s been months now and the smell is history and we can now live in home peacefully and happily ever after!

We had our home renovated last year and have smelled sewer gas in the master bath ever since. Our prime and his plumber, who is based in Hermosa Beach, gave all kinds of excuses as to why the smell persisted (biofilm, they claimed) and eventually refused to return for further diagnosis. I learned that Moffett provides sewer gas smell detection using a fog test (colloquially known as a smoke test). I was initially skeptical but after a very informative 15-min phone call with Ray, Moffett's service manager, I was convinced that it may be the best course of action after 10+ months of fruitless Green Gobbler sticks and enzymatic cleaners in p-traps.Brandon and Justin showed up on time yesterday. They were extremely polite, conscientious and professional. After 15 min to set up for testing using a cleanout in my garage, fog appeared within 5 minutes behind not just the master bath toilet, but the adjacent kids' bathroom toilet as well.I contacted the prime and sent him videos of the fog results. Brandon and Justin waited patiently for 30 min or so while we wait to learn if the prime's plumber would someone out to make the repairs so they could rerun the test to confirm success. When the plumber said he couldn't take care of it until the following week, the Moffett team proceeded with removing both toilets for evaluation.As it turns out, the previous plumber took a short cut and did not replace the toilet flanges in both bathrooms, even though the floor elevation was increased. This resulted in a greater than code-allowed elevation differential, meaning that the wax rings around both drains were unable to properly seal.Moffett explained that some plumbers would address this problem by placing two stacked wax rings to make up the elevation difference but code does not allow that. I agreed to replace the flanges (the code solution). Shortly thereafter, Ray, the service manager, showed up to personally assist with the work. Ray, too, is a consummate professional. While they proceeded with the work, I casually overheard Ray mentoring the two more junior plumbers with guidance on how to perform the work properly. It's apparent Moffett takes training, and its people, seriously.When the work was complete, the team of three performed another fog test to confirm the work was successful (it was!).Moffett will be my preferred plumber from now on.

Smoke test performed on a problem no one could solve for almost 2 years. Found the problem within minutes. Knew exactly how to fix it. Spelled out the work and price up front. Nothing hidden. Technician (Vince) was one of the nicest and most professional vendors I’ve ever worked with. I’m sleeping well tonight knowing that my sewer smell” issue is finally gone. Would recommend this company and Vince 100% to anyone. Get the smoke test!!!

A gas leak made it necessary to change out the water heater as it was around 13 years old. The technician, Brian Rawls was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He explained all our options and the costs associated with each plan including the financing the new equipment. After making our decision everything went smoothly the financing company contacted us and Brian installed the equipment. Everything was completed in a timely manner. I give this company 5 stars for excellence

Hi our service tech Vince was professional and friendly. He was very knowledgeable and ensured we understood what he needed to do before he started the work. Vince was very respectful and worked with my grandma to make sure she felt comfortable and informed.

When the Moffett plumbing team member (Luis) showed up at my place, he took extra care to make sure that his feet were clean, and that there was even a piece of carpet that he carried and walked on to protect my home and carpet. He took every care and precaution to make sure that his estimate was clear and easy to understand, and provided me with a full written plan at the end of our time together. From the advertisement that I saw on Instagram, to the receptionist that set the appointment, and then, to the appointment that was kept by Luis… It was super pro and super clear and helpful all the way.

We were faced with a severe gas leak outside of our home which prompted the gas company to turn our gas off. Moffett Plumbing responded the next day and repaired the leak and our gas was restored that evening. What an amazingly good experience. I had a wonderful, polite and extremely professional plumber named Nate come to help me with my water heater problem. I had been having burner problems for 6 months and couldn't handle it any longer. After his diagnosis and upon his advise that I agreed completely with I thought it best to go with a new water heater. He in no way pressured me into anything and agreed to do whatever I felt comfortable with. He sat me up with a great water heater at a fair and reasonable price. He removed the old one and installed the new one. His work was meticulous and very professional, I could tell he takes pride in his work. Our water heater decided to fail on New Years’ Day. I called Moffett Plumbing early the next morning, and was given a 3:00 to 5:00 appointment window, which I was OK with. We were happy to get a call at noon saying they would be an hour or so early. Jonathan was terrific! He presented us with our options, we chose one, and he took care of the rest. We had hot water about 30 minutes after he left. They aren’t the least expensive company around, but the bottom line is that we are very happy with the outcome. We will use them next time we have need of their services.

Brian was very helpful and knowledgeable. Even though my drain was pretty jammed up with roots, he was happy to make sure it got cleared up. It took a little bit because of the roots but he got it done. He was very nice.One of the things I fear the most when calling a plumbing company that offers a flat rate for drain cleaning is the hard core upsells. I've had companies in the past get absolutely rude when I didn't agree to their $12,000 repair (that I found out later wasn't necessary) and they would get nasty.Brian wasn't like this. As a salesperson myself, I'll say he did do a great job of assertively but nicely offering a few upsells and wasn't a jerk about it and the quotes he gave were very reasonable. He did a good job with the follow up questions without being rude or making you feel stupid.If I didn't have a remodel planned in the very near future I might have taken his offer. Moffett is now on the top of my list of Plumbing companies I will call when I have a problem.

Vince was very pleasant and polite. Jonathan, also very pleasant and polite, arrived shortly after. However, we are not happy that after having them hydro jet the mainline in 11-21 that roots are growing back already and they are telling us the clean out (installed by a different company) was not installed correctly and that is why the roots are growing back.We are getting a second opinion from a few other companies before deciding our next steps and whether to stick with Moffett or switch to a different plumbing company.

We've had on-going issues with our kitchen drain and have had several plumbers out in the last ten years. They have all snaked the line and gone their way. Felix took the time to listen to the on-going story, form a hypothesis about what might be the root of our trouble, and then talk with me about a real fix rather than the two-year band-aid. He didn't have to sell me anything because I already knew we needed something more than a snake. But he took the time to educate me from his knowledge and experience, so that I could become better informed about the pattern of problem I was witnessing. I was very pleased with his attitude towards me and the work throughout the time he was in my home. He took the time to do things well. And I feel such relief at having the issue solved rather than feeling like I just set the countdown to the next back-up. He was on-time, professional, personable, a dedicated worker, who worked clean and cleaned up after himself. I am a very satisfied customer.

Got charged 685 for leak detection and capping of a line. Quoted thousands of dollars to reroute the line. Just had a reputable plumber come out today and fix the problem for under 1000. Don't waste your time with all the extra fees and nonsense. You'll end up overpaying thousands.

Chris DeShields was professional, courteous, and helpful. Their were a couple issues involving my property and 2 different neighbors. Chris quickly diagnosed my problem and was able to provide a remedy the same day. The other issue involved a leak into a neighbor's garage. Figuring out where that leak originated was trickier but he persisted and found the problem. He was able to talk with both neighbors in such a way as to not only explain the problem, help them understand how the issue was unique to their particular property and gain their cooperation working together to get the problem resolved. I've used Tom Moffett Plumbing for several years and will absolutely continue to use them in the future.

In response to your response. I take my sister's and niece's word over gps records. I also have records at the point of sale when the $500 transaction was made after which they left. He just told my niece as he told me over the phone that it was a deposit. Not for work done. Perhaps the fact that he went to the Circle in Orange after he left accounts for the additional hours and the GPS records. That is what he told another technician that he was going to do over the phone.I have learned to be on site from now on in order to supervise work or lack thereof. Of course you are going to trust your employees over a customer. I will let the reviewers decide for themselves.Technician came out to evaluate a leak. He was there 45 minutes, quoted $5000. I gave him $500 deposit. I later contacted him and told him I had found someone else to do the job for $2500. Company charged me for 3 hours of labor and I received a $23 refund. It's unfortunate that technician found it necessary to lie. Not a trustworthy company.

Brian is very conscientious and hard working team member/employee of Moffett. Took the time to explain all the processes involved in terms of what needed repair. Was patient in answering my questions and shared pricing before starting repair. He managed to dislodge large toothpaste cap that was stuck in the drain, bathroom leakage from faucet that affected the shower, and maintain my hot water heater. Only use Moffett for my plumbing needs.

The technician could not unclog the toilet the clog was too far down and instead of leaving and saying sorry the owner was called out and he did a thorough evaluation and went through an external vent instead of the toilet found the clog removed the clog and did not charge anymore for this service. I would highly recommend them I give them an 11 out of 10 stars

Connor Peterson from Tom Moffet Plumbing Services just completed an amazing repair of our clogged/slow drain from our home’s drain pipe to the main sewer line from our washing machine. Connor had to utilize all kinds of different tools, including incredible skills to SAS a section in the concrete and uses jack-hammer to excavate the concrete slab to get Florence to the section of bad pipe. He and the team from Tom Moffet also called in a specialist to re-line the failed pipe section with an epoxy liner. This saved us from having to spend tens of thousands of added cost, since they did not need to completely excavate the failed sewer line section.Connor kept us completely informed all along the way with the repair. He and his team at Tom Moffet are so very professional at the task of plumbing repair. They came charged us 900bucjs for diagnostics and ever figured out th leak and asked us to call them back if there was any forget issues — a call to cost 1000 for a plumber who did not fix or detect the issue is a highway robbery — can not recommend this company — consequently they came back 3 days later because the leak was still there and charged 275 to fix the issue— I figure we got ripped off about 600dollats for aSimple leak that should have been detected and fixed th first day —

This review is for their sewer inspection/camera service and for quotes on two additional plumbing issues.It was easy to schedule service with them and the support staff was in touch with me before our service technicians arrived to let us know they were running a bit behind.Brian and Jason were assigned to our call. They were both very friendly and professional. Wore masks inside and outside of the property and wore shoe protectors once inside the home.We called them for a sewer inspection. While there they explained all of the steps, explained and described what they saw along the sewer lines and helped us understand any areas that may be of concern. They provided quotes for a potential problem area so we would know how much the issue could cost to repair.We also had them look at an issue in the bathtub and asked for a quote for an upgrade to the main water line shut off. They were thorough and informative and took the time to explain the issue and provide a quote for repair/upgrade.I was really pleased with their service and demeanor. Both were very kind, helpful, and professional.

Jonathan did an excellent job of installing a new high pressure regulator valve as well as a new Moen Flo sensor valve. The work is top quality and he was extremely polite and friendly as well as super knowledgeable.

They were very personable and friendly. I called them because I had wet drywall. Before they started, they let me know that it may be better to have the HOA manage it as it could be a shared pipe. They were happy to start work but let me know that the HOA would likely not cover it as it was not the HOAs contracted plumber.

On 10/3/16 Jessie performed the annual 323 inspection and W/H service at our home on Mammoth Circle in Lake Forest. He was very professional and informative throughout the inspection. We feel that Jessie is definetly an asset to your company.

My family and I just had the best experience with Tom Moffett Plumbing !!! We've had four (4) different Technicians at our home, from Moffett Plumbing, over these past couple of days . . . Kevin, Jonathan, Adam, and Trey. All four (4) of them have been so very professional, and each one of them really know how to do their work. We had a serious main-line sewer issue, and they just completed a full install of a inner-liner inside of our main sewer line, and they did all of the work in just two (2) days !!! Wow, that's amazing !!! Trey worked so hard in digging deep to reach our main line's clean-out piping. Kevin provided fantastic oversight of the job, his plumbing experience, especially with these type of main-line sewer issues is truly astounding !!! And, it was truly a pleasure to work with Kevin, on the financing aspect of this job !! Jonathan also worked very hard in digging, alongside Trey, and his knowledge of plumbing is truly amazing !! Last, but definitely not least, Adam did an absolutely amazing job in all of the preparation and installation of the inner liner into our main sewer line. The Tom Moffett Plumbing technicians, Conner and Trey were at our house to fix a hot water leak in the concrete floor of our downstairs bathroom.On the first day Conner evaluated the problem. When he was ready to proceed, he had his supervisor Kevin come to review and approve the plan. The second day Conner started the work. On the third day Trey came to work with Conner. They encountered more problems than they had expected because our house is over 50 years old. They were able to fix the problems and yet honored the dollar amount on the contract that we had already signed!We thank God that they were such good people, and so well trained that they knew what to do.

We recently moved to a new house and called Moffett plumbing to swing by and check our plumbing and water heater (we've used them before). Brian and Vince showed up on time and were great. We quickly identified the water heater needed to be replaced (it was 30 years old!), so we scheduled them to install a new water heater a few days later.The day of install, both Brian and Vince showed up on time and immediately got started. They talked me through what they were doing and why. The end result was awesome. The install was extremely clean and well done. 100% recommend Moffett Plumbing. Brian and Jeremy fixed a leaky outdoor water main, installed a new kitchen faucet and a water softener system. They were quick to respond to my call. Brian arrived 2 hours after my first call and did all the work the following day. I had been quoted two different times on a water softening system and I know what neighbors paid for a water softener. Moffett plumbing beat all the quotes and what the neighbors paid. I am super happy with this business!

I have used Tom Moffett in the past several times and each time they come out they continue to show that they are a stand up company. Thanksgiving morning I woke up to a large slab water leak in my patio. I called Moffett the following day (Friday) and they immediately sent Brian out. Brian is so polite and professional that this is the kind of kid you would want your daughter to marry. Anyway due to scheduling they came out Wednesday with another kid named Jeremy. Both these young men started at 9:00 am and completed the job at about 5:00 pm. They cleaned up and swept the patio leaving it clean like it was. If I can give Mike Moffett 10 stars I would. Again as usual GREAT JOB!

Great work by Brian! We had an aging water heater which died on a Saturday morning. Brian showed up around 5pm, did a review of the situation and quickly provided options. He worked hard and efficiently into Saturday evening going above and beyond to be cautious with the landscaping while moving in the new water heater and removing the old one. Moffett Plumbing was excellent! Our initial concern was that we needed a water pressure regulator because our street water pressure was 100 psi. We’ve owned this 1964 built home for the last 30 years and we never knew that we didn’t have one. The service man also noted that our water heater had been installed incorrectly, so he fixed that. Then he replaced a flapper on one of our toilets. He was very knowledgeable and even admired the total self-repair my husband had done on another toilet. I will be so glad to call them again for my next plumbing repair job.

Vince is part of the Moffett team that had the right tools to find and fix the problem. Roots and many cracks in main 4 sewer line between house and street. They cleaned, ran camera down line, lined the inside of the 4 pipe and installed 2-way clean-out. Vince and the team were extremely professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly.

After two hours on site the company concluded that my home needed a new water heater, I was charged a service fee and received a $4,950 quote.A little hesitant so I reached out for a 2nd quote with Moffett Plumbing. Mike came to my residence and immediately was able to pinpoint the water heater issue and fixed the problem in less then 30 mins. He even crawled under my house taking pictures of anything of concern. I also mentioned some things my son had noticed. He called his manager to bring out a camera so that we could see what some areas look like from the inside the pipes. By the time they left here. I have pictures and detailed plans of plans of what my home needs and how much it would be for the repairs. We have the Moffett plumbing family and friends plan. This plan includes a 343 point inspection once a year to make sure the plumbing is healthy and in good shape. I can’t say enough about how grateful I am for Nate and Moffett Plumbing! When I discovered a leak, they were so quick to send out a technician. Within an hour Nate was at my house helping detect the leak. The situation became complicated when the leak was actually coming from my neighbors pipes (shared common wall). Was very satisfied with the service and how honest and upfront Brian Rowles was. He evaluated our situation, recommend the solutions, and never pressured us. Showing us first hand with his camera in our pipe we saw the years of grease buildup that had caused our problem. He built our trust by first trying to flush the clog out with our garden hose, and only after realizing it didn't work recommended the high pressure flush of our pipe. Afterwards he again used his camera to show us the difference, and restored our pipes to new condition. I would highly recommend. Felix installed my new Todo toilets before I moved into my home last year (7/2016). Felix dug a huge hole in my front yard and installed a two way on a very hot day (approximately 8/2016). I also hired Felix to install a water line for my refrigerator (8/2016).Jessee and Kody cleared a clog as part of a hydro-jetting option early 2017.For the most part, I have spoken to Jennifer in order to schedule all of these appointments and I always looking forward to the Tom Moffett crew to fix my plumbing problems.Recently, Scott was able to quickly ascertain the location of my leak and fixed it (10/19/2017). After doing so he also tightened up other connections under my sink without being asked. This is the 5th or 6th time I have used Tom Moffett for my plumbing needs in the past year. I have been a part of their Family Plan since day one.

Water heater replaced. Very professional.

The expected repairs were explained (jackhammer through the floor and slab to replace a deteriorating cast iron sewer pipe and valve). This was my second quote and was in line with another local plumbing service. They were able to complete the repair by tunneling under the slab from outside. My final cost was much lower than the agreed on estimate. How often does that happen?In addition to the lead technician Brian, there was a crew of 4 over the two days who completed the main repair and some minor ones, and jetted the whole house lines which were nearly clogged with grease. All of the employees were kind and respectful and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely call on Moffett Plumbing and Air again!

While they did run a bit behind, that's to be expected with the way things are right now. He went above and beyond to get the work done I requested (installing a sink faucet) as well as adjusting a few other things that he ran across, basically just to be nice! The sink faucet installation turned out to be trickier than expected, but Moffett has upfront pricing so Scott did what was needed to get the job done anyway without additional charge.This was my first time using Moffett. They seem to be a very high level service company. Every step of the way from scheduling to the actual service appointment was handled very well. High level service does understandably come at a cost, you get what you pay for, but Moffett has a family club option that made the repairs more economical. So I recommend you consider joining that club.

I was just overwhelmed more at the expense and all the things. Shocked that my water softener was depositing salt in our outgo pipes but Buddy got the better that blew the salt out. But it also made sure that the master bedrooms shower drain was actually cleared out. Then I had our kitchen faucet replaced with one of yours and that was quick work and it’s actually quite nice having a Fossett with water pressure.I’m a bit on a tight budget so I was counting on the faucet and maybe the drain being cleared in the master bathroom, but that whole thing about the salt upset me a little bit because we had all that done by another company in 2017/2018 and to see it being so bad was upsetting me.Not the technician or Moffett’s fault at all. Just frustration of a homeowner. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Buddy was patient and very thorough so I was comfortable with them.

Overall great experience. They were able to unclog my very clogged sewer line and were very knowledgeable and personable. They did camera the line as well and explained to me some issues we would be facing down the line. I would 100% recommend them to friends and family. It was $90 to unclog the drains. I called in the morning and they were able to come same-day. The office was great at communicating when they would arrive.

Nate was very professional during his visit to my home. He conducted a thorough assessment of all the plumbing and flushed out my very old water heater. He arrived late in the day due to issues at a previous job. The water heater flush took longer than expected and required a second drain due to a leaky drain valve after the first drain. Nate remained patient and fixed the issue. He stayed to observe the water heater after it was all reassembled to ensure it was working properly before feeling comfortable to leave. During his visit, he explained to me everything he did and was patient and professional all the way to the end. Tom Moffitt Plumbing has done other work in my home in the past. Every technician has conducted themselves in a professional manner and had performed outstanding work.

I'm always nervous to try a new plumbing organization. I've had some fairly bad experiences. But a Google search suggested this organization and I gave them a call. The woman who answered the phone was pleasant (I think her name was Jessica) and she said a technician would arrive within an hour to two hours on a Saturday!So in about 2 hours, Chris arrived, and he was so nice and personable. We talked through the issue with the drain from my washing machine and in no time he had it diagnosed. Before he began work, he gave me the quote and I knew what I was in for before he started. Didn't seem to long and the drain had been cleared. Chris was great to work with, he didn't mind me hovering and asking a bunch of questions. He explained their family owned business and they are not a franchise.I was pleased with the quickness and efficiency of the service call. He gave me a folder with my copy of the bill and some literature. We talked more about how the business is run and who owns it.And I know this will make Chris laugh, but the true test of his work came when he left and I ran another load of laundry with no leaks! He was so patient and kind with my millions of questions. Another happy service.

A pipe on my old water purification system broke in multiple areas and Chris came and stabilized it until a new unit can be installed. During the installation, Chris and his assistant Jeremy were very courteous and educated me on the whole system. I learned about how whole house water filtration and softeners work. I even learned that conventional water heaters need to switch to an aluminum rod inside rather than a magnesium rod to protect the inside of the water heater if you are using a softening system. Chris and Jeremy redesigned the piping from my old configuration so it was not only more efficient but more esthetic looking too. They even lined up the copper ground lines to not dangle around like it was before too. Very satisfied with the job and very confident that it was done right so I can sleep better knowing it will last and operate for years to come. Thank you Tom Moffett Team.

Don't use Tom Moffett Plumbing. No customer loyalty. We have used TMP in the past with plumbing charges exceeding $3000. Performance was average and included hours of chatter and sales pitching.When we called them for service on a water heater that was not warming the water, the technician said the water heater needed to be replaced. When he was asked if it was still under warranty, the technician said NO. We paid $1700+ for a new water heater. Turns out, the old water heater was still under warranty and should have been replaced at no charge. TMP said their technician did not know about the warranty because they were not the original vender. He might have pointed out this fact and saved us $1700. Don't use Tom Moffett Plumbing. No customer loyalty.

For several years we have had multiple plumbing jobs done on a (56) fifty six year old home as needed. Tom Moffett has always been professional, completely informed, and gotten it right the first time. No job too small or large, or complex. Truly dependable, they also keep it clean & are extremely pleasant.

Poker is back at Morongo. They're still working through some minor glitches but all is good. New tables with auto shufflers, USB ports, cup holders, and players card scanners. You can now eat at your table. I believe all food orders are done through an app, and the food is not cheap...

Prompt, professional and fairly priced. Their technician was friendly and knowledgeable. Due to Covid he was masked while working on the plumbing and cleaned and sanitized the area when he was done. This is the second time I have used them, and they will be my go to for future plumbing needs.

Alberto and Tristan cane to help me with unclog my sink drain from backup. These men showed up on time, dressed clean and with great attitudes. They were very kind and helpful. They had the proper equipment and had full knowledge of what they were working with. Their space was kept clean and no residue was left behind. They were quick and answered all questions asked. Great service and technicians were the best I've encountered. They deserve a raise.

Purchased a new water heater from Tom Moffit Plumbing years ago. Every year they call to schedule a FREE inspection to maintain it properly. They called last week to schedule and we agreed on 2pm to 4pm yesterday.They called to confirm appointment yesterday about 20 minutes prior to arrival. Their service rep. Chris showed up on time, and proceeded to flush out the water heater to rinse of hard mineral deposits and tune up the heater. Took about 20-30 minutes. I was impressed. I inquired about two leaking exterior hose bibs and cost to replace. Chris took a look, grabbed some channel locks, tightened the packing nuts, and just like that, no longer leaking. Did I mention this was Free of Charge? Amazing Company who have their stuff together. Don't bother looking anywhere else....

Vince was great and did excellent work to get the job done (5 stars). When we placed the call on Saturday, we were not given accurate details as to the cost and service call charge so 0 stars for the person who took our call on the weekend. Just give me the info I ask for so I can make an informed decision instead of leaving Vince in a position to defend the price structure and policy. You did good Vince, the office...not so good.

I had a great experience with Moffett plumbing. Brandon, my plumber, was on time, polite and got the job done well. We just moved into a new (used) home and the shower drain was really clogged with A Lot of hair! The drain was filling up within seconds. He had to use a very deep snake and kept at it until everything ran clear. He was conscientious about keeping my home clean as he wore booties and picked up after himself. Overall a great experience.

Toilet leak. Here in less than 24 hours, estimated quickly, got it fixed and done. It was a cracked toilet and rusted flange. More expensive than we thought cause it was a bigger problem than we thought. The new one isn't raised but also isn't broken. Buddy was terrific and even our reserved cats liked him, though had to lock them out so he could work.

Rudy was able to find where the sewer smell was coming from with his cool smoke machine in less than 15 minutes. He then fixed it very quickly.

Brian was very helpful at giving me the options for my needs. He said that he would be able to install my toilet. He also discovered that my water heater was leaking and said that he could come out tomorrow to replace it and install a water filtration system for me. Brian & Jeremy came out today 6/11/20 to install my water heater. They did a very professional job. After they were finished, they swept and vacuumed the floor well. I will hire Tom Moffett Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs. Brian came out on time Tuesday 6/16/20 to install my toilet. He did a very good installation. After he was finished the job, he cleaned up everything clean as a whistle. I will choose Tom Moffett Plumbing for all my plumbing needs.

Chris just left and now I have two really nice toilets that don’t leak. He is very friendly and efficient and brought Jonathan with him today. They worked non stop and cleaned up nicely before leaving. It is a pleasure to have him come to my home even though it is a problem to start with. He explains what is needed and provides options. Moffett has always come through. I’ve worked with Nate before on other plumbing issues in our house and he’s always been fantastic. Super professional, super nice, and super neat. Brian and Joe were fantastic!!! We had a real emergency which was close to impacting our business's ability to operate and these guys really came through for us. With a short timeline, they performed a major repair within 24 hours so we could get up and running again. Vince & Alberto with Moffett Plumbing were AWESOME!! I can’t say enough great things about the work that they’ve done. They’re friendly, polite, professional and explained everything to me so that I could understand. They also took the time when my husband came home mid-job to explain things to him as well. We had a strong smell from inside the kitchen cabinets for the last few years on and off and worse when warm outside. I finally got fed up and looked around online and found sewer smoke testing (which is never even heard of) for my area and we were dispatched Vince & Alberto with Moffett Plumbing and I couldn’t have asked for better guys for the job. I’d never heard of the plumbing company prior to today and they’re the diamond in the rough of companies it seems. They were prompt, professional, and took their time to make sure the issue was completely resolved from the moment they walked through the door. We’ll be using Moffett Plumbibg again and asking for a Vince and Alberto should we ever need to in the future as well as recommending them both to friends and family.

This was the second time we had the pleasure of having Scott do work in our home. Scott and Vince installed a carbon water filtration system. They are both very professional, friendly and knowledgeable and could answer all our questions. We were given our options but never pressured. We have nothing but positive a positive experience. We have no hesitation in recommending them to others who have plumbing problems or upgrades.Judi R

I had a toilet line that was plugged. Listening to the fish, we called and spoke to them. They showed up on time and were dressed nicely. I told them that someone had flushed a wipe e down the toilet and the toilet was plugged. We used a snake before and that plumber thought he fixed it by pulling most of it out but it was still draining very slow so the Moffet person brought in a camera and showed me. Said it appeared to be tree roots and the wipe e 5 feet in and that he could fix it with the hydro blast but that would cost me over $800. I said thanks but no thanks. He billed me $90 for the camera work. I called another plumber who told me $450 would be the charge. He came over today and used his camera and all he did was touch the wipe e and it went free. He also said tree roots? No trees within 100 feet. How could it be a tree root. He charged me $250 for the camera and the call. Sorry Tom but you lost a customer but the good news is we found a plumber.

Needed a plumber to give me an estimate to fix a consistent drip on a bathtub spout. The name TOM MOFFATT PLUMBING came to mind as I remembered hearing it advertised on The Fish radio station a while back. I made an appt for the next day and JONATHAN WARD showed up as promised. He respectfully put on shoe coverings before entering my home and proceeded to inspect the spout issue. He was happy to explain my options considering my fixtures are original and delicate. I made a decision to replace the cartridge and WA LA!! It completely resolved the problem!! And the repair fee was HALF of what the other 2 companies quoted me.They also did NOT mention the option of changing out the cartridge at all. Jonathan's honesty, patience, friendliness, respectfulness and professionalism are very much appreciated! He definitely has earned my Trust for future plumbing work and I highly recommend him.
