Andy OnCall was able to get my installation done in a timely manner. I did make two phone calls to inquire about an estimate, which is why I am rating it 4 stars. If I could give it 4.5 stars I would. I was very satisfied once I got the estimate and appreciated the information the gal (don’t recall her name) on the phone gave me to find the necessary items to buy for the installation. Chris called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way and was very friendly, professional, and cleaned up after installing two pendant lights and one chandelier. I am very happy with how my kitchen lighting looks now. I will use Andy OnCall again.

Brad was great! He was helpful, friendly. He setup my washer and dryer, and mounted my tv on the wall.

From my first phone call to Laurie to the final completion of their visit to my daughter’s place to do work, Andy on call couldn’t have been more perfect. We live on Long Island in New York, and I needed someone to go to my daughter’s place in Wake Forest . Not only did they help me figure out how to handle the situation, but kept me apprised via phone call, and were so fair about the pricing. In addition, they took care of the needed work within 48 hours. I would highly recommend them, and know that I will be using them for my daughter’s place from now on! We have called on Andy OnCall many times over the years, and we have never been let down! Chris is the handyman who has done the work for us, and he is wonderful. Chris is an experienced professional, he is honest, fair, and does fantastic work. The service at Andy OnCall is equally satisfying. They always work hard to make things work with my schedule, and I really appreciate it. The customer service representatives are friendly and helpful. We've had so many things done - door hardware installation, ceiling repair, ceiling fan and light fixture installation and more. Definitely recommend!

Update to my previous review: The technician's name was David K on the receipt. I forgot the name of the man that fixed a furnace exhaust vent cap that had come loose on the roof. But he came on time, explained what was needed and fixed it in and timely and efficient manner. I have used Andy On Call in Raleigh several times over that last few years and they have always done good work.

Have tried for 1 year to get a hole fixed in my roof. Quotes were outrageous or they would not show up or they would not come back after providing a quote. Met Andy On Call at the Raleigh Home Show and Laurie arranged to have Steve come out. He provided a reasonable quote and I scheduled an appointment. He SHOWED UP & ON TIME!! not like his predecessors who never came back. He provided pictures of the work done and was professional and very nice to work with. PLEASED to know they provide lots of other services and they will be our new GO TO COMPANY !!

Long time customer. They do good work. Although, I did not feel that there was respect for my home and health when I was told that they did not wear masks. If this is not an issue for you, they will do good work. It is unfortunate that I will no longer do business with them after all this time. Also, this is when there was reported high community transmission.

I have had some bad luck with Contractors. I called Andy OnCall and needed some exterior door repair with wood rot. Chris was great. A nice young man with incredible skills. I could not be more pleased with his work. Have scheduled for him to back after the holidays for additional work.

David did an excellent job replacing siding that squirrels had chewed up and repainting it. I would use this company again.

I just got off the phone with Cathy at Andy on Call and am simply stunned by her rudeness. I called (a second time in two days) to follow-up on a repair question, was very polite, and was told I will call you. Please do not call me again. I am very busy. A. isn't this a service profession? B. aren't we offering to pay you for your business? and C. isn't a critical rule of small business acumen to be available to your clients and potential clients? I cannot believe this treatment and urge you to seek help elsewhere.

Jason installed a set of decorative shutters on the back of our house and did a great job. Andy on Call was great to work with - they were able to get the job scheduled quickly, and then rescheduled quickly when we had snow on the original day. Jason was quick and the shutters look great. I will definitely call them again for other jobs!

They are amazing! From the first call to the office to the completion of any job, the work has been top-rate. I recently ran into a problem less than 24 hours before closing on the sale of my home and Joshua was there with in 30 minutes. He tried a simple fix first and came back in 3 hours when that was not effective to do a more permanent fix. I love that they give you an estimate and come prepared to work but that there is no pressure if you do not choose to go forward!

Dave did a great job with work in our 1/2 bath. Andy On Call stood behind their warranty guarantee. I would definitely recommend their services.

We love the staff and workers at Andy on Call. Laurie and Kathy are great in the office and will answer any questions we’ve asked about the estimate or the final bill. We recently had a privacy fence installed and Roger and Lane did an excellent job. They worked hard and it was clear they enjoy their customers. Chris was absolutely incredible. I've had several other handymen, painters, plumbers, landscapers, electricians, and carpenters work at the house, and his work by far superior to them all. In fact, he fixed many of their mess-ups. He was super courteous, on-time, clean, and did great work. I have already scheduled him for another day to tackle a list of other projects.

Kelley from Andy OnCall was a life-saver and a very knowledgeable craftsman. We had been dealing with another ceiling drywall repair service in Raleigh that took more than a week to book, was unprepared and untrained for sheetrock replacement, utterly bungled the job, and left us with two days to fix our problem. After calling around and hearing that this is the busiest time of the year and that it was impossible to find anyone anywhere who could come out on short notice, Andy OnCall (kudos specifically to Lauren and Kelley) accommodated us quickly with a professional who knew immediately how to address our issue and had it resolved within four-and-a-half hours. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for guaranteed professional work.

I had shower doors removed and replaced. Awful workmanship. Gobs of caulking and the metal was not cut straight. Had to clean up the mess when the worker left and also had to touch up the paint on the walls. Definitely not a satisfied customer.

Very responsive and did a great job installing our outdoor ceiling fan. After having no fewer then 5 independent handymen not return my call From Nextdoor, I remembered Andy On Call. They called back promptly and had us on the schedule immediately. Will use again.

Brad serviced all our home repairs after we had water damage. He drywalled, laid down new carpet pads, new baseboards, matched the crown molding… He truly was a master of his craft. Very professional, great communication

Greg came the first time and did a great job installing a ceiling fan and doing some general repairs. The second day Joe came because Greg was in the hospital and he also did a great job painting, taking down a ceiling fan and installing a new ceiling light and several general repairs. Both of them were on time, professional. Laurie in the office worked very hard to get a craftsman to my house within my time schedule.

I am experienced in remodeling homes. I owned a real estate company so frequently send help to my clients. I have owned up to 8 rental properties.
Andy on Call was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. DO NOT ever hire this company for anything.
In 40 years of working with homes I have never had such horrible work done.
These people have an excuse for everything.

We have used Andy OnCall for a number of years and have always been very happy with the quality of the work. Most recently, the work they provided fixed subpar quality work that was performed by another group. I have learned a lesson and will ONLY be using Andy OnCall from now on!

I had some exterior wood rot and called Andy on Call to see if they could fix it....they were so helpful in the office and they sent David out to address the issue. He was very knowledgeable and walked us through the whole process. His attention to detail and thoroughness was the best. We've used other Handyman services before in our opinion none can match Andy on calls! We will absolutely be using them again! Thanks so much guys!

11/3/21 had screen work performed on my back porch and replaced the screen door. My Craftsman was JASON K. He did an excellent job. Arrived on time, polite, cleaned up well, masked the entire time. Definitely would use Andy on Call again.

I've used Andy OnCall a few times. They are always professional and let me know of any prices beforehand, and always provide updates on times, if needed. They have great handymen. Dave did a great job! He fixed a problem with my front door left uncompleted by a previous handyman (not through Andy OnCall) and installed a wired Ring doorbell. Would recommend company to anyone, especially Dave.

Greg replaced siding and was very precise on the painting. Very happy with the job and we had Danny to rebuild our porch steps and stain and paint. Both jobs look great and we plan to use them again.

Yesterday I posted a scathing review of this company. In all honesty, I had not contacted the company about my issues but the supervisor on site had not been very helpful and almost disdainful regarding my concerns about the bad job they had done. I was not sure what good a call to the company would do given that their representative on site was not helpful. Within a couple of hours of posting my review, I received a phone call from Laurie with Andy on Call. She was very concerned about my complaints and was emphatic that that is not how they do business. She asked if she could come out to our house that afternoon with another contractor to check out the job. Yesterday afternoon, she showed up with, not one, but two independent contractors to assess the situation. The independent contractors are Sean and Steve. They spent about an hour here looking at our concerns with Laurie. They inspected the work, agreed that there were certainly problems with the initial job, and told us what they were going to do to fix it to our satisfaction. This morning they showed up and worked very hard to fix all the issues with the original work. Sean and Steve went above and beyond to complete the job. They, and Laurie, have apologized for the shoddy work. I am impressed with the responsiveness of Andy on Call and the excellent job they have done to complete the job to our satisfaction. Thank you, Andy on Call, for being a business of integrity.

I requested a couple of jobs to fix/replace. Before I call Andyoncall, One of top stars handyman company came and unavailable to do. So I was little worried if Andyoncall charged more. Andyoncall reached to me and set up schedule. (Takes a few day to set) Mr. Jason stopped by and gave us free estimate and explained what he can do. We ere kind of surprised because it was a different/easy/no cost/ safe /quick job. Mrs Jason tried to fix all on same day but there is missing parts. So andyoncall re schedule to next few days. I was at work and my hubby was with them so I couldn’t tell you all details, but when I come back home I see all fixed beautifully. My hubby and I are satisfied! Also it was charged exactly same as estimated.
We requested to fix pot filler water leaking/ barn door replacement / outdoor lighting.

Andy Oncall in Raleigh is a great business and they care about their customer's. All work is warrantied for 1 year unless otherwise stated. If there are every any issues with service the office will help resolve quickly. They specialize in small to medium size jobs.

Andy On Call rocks!! I simply needed a weight rack put up in my garage. I called a handyman that I've used before and was quoted an amount of $479!! I thought that it was really high for a simple install so I went to Google and the first handyman to pop up as Andy on Call. I asked for a quote and was quoted $150. I jumped all over this quote. Jason came on time and did a wonderful job! I do believe I've found our new handyman!

I have used ANDY OnCall several times. As a single aging female, it is wonderful to have a service I can call on for what I need to have done. Their estimates and prices are always reasonable. In the multiple times I have used their services, I have only had one minor problem. Most recently, Brad installed vinyl railings on my front porch. He was conscientious, worked steadily, and did a great job. I highly recommend ANDY OnCall!!

I contacted Andy OnCall about reattaching a downspout. David Keil came out and did a thoroughly professional job. He arrived during the scheduled window. He knew exactly what to do and took less than 30 minutes from the time he pulled into the driveway until he took the ladder down. The charge was reasonable. Overall, I was very pleased with the service.

I had a fantastic experience. They sent Steve to look at my roof to install a roof vent cap (for new exhaust fans). He very personable and clearly knowledgeable. He came at the appointed hour and did a great job! I would definitely turn to this company again.
