David was the lead installer for a new heat pump/fan coil system and what an outstanding job he did. David is both an exceptional person and a truly great installer. One of the nicest and most genuine people I have come across in a long time. He is respectful, professional, knowledgeable and absolutely wants to do the best job possible for his customers. He goes the extra mile to get it done right. He stayed day and night working late hours to ensure that the entire install was not only done right, but in his words ' he wanted to make it look beautiful'. What a tremendous person he is. We compared quotes and had appointments from about a handful of different companies in the area and ended up booking with Fuse. The initial appointment was very detailed and they provided different options of what we were looking for. Pricing was also comparable to others. We wanted something energy efficient, quiet and a filter installed in the systems. They were thorough and clear on what we needed to do to prep for the major overhaul of our furnace and AC.Our technician Dave was very courteous and meticulous. Him and his partner, Bolt were extremely efficient! The bad weather caused a little delay but they got the job done! Dave asked about the times that would work best for us and communicated well with us each day/time they were coming out. All the work is done to code and Dave tested the units multiple times to make sure everything was running correctly. They also made sure to clean up each time they came out. Both Dave and Bolt worked throughout the day and into the evenings to ensure our heat was properly installed and we were comfortable.The process from initial booking, install and signing/payment was very easy and clear. They’re responsive, professional and detailed. Highly recommend Fuse!

Wow! What a great overall experience! I was getting estimates for an HVAC replacement for my landlord. Fuse was able to set up the appointment for the very next morning. Roby showed up on time and set the tone for my entire interaction. He spent time educating me on the types of systems needed, the cost (and was transparent about the expenses), as well as giving me options for the budget we were trying to achieve. Just a pleasant person and I felt very comfortable hiring them based on this interaction. They were able to come install the system within a fairly tight timeframe (due to cold weather). The installer Tony, and his helper, David, were awesome. Extremely polite, hardworking and careful to keep the space clean both during and at the end of the project. They ensured it was running smoothly and effectively prior to leaving. I would definitely recommend this company for HVAC replacement. Thanks!

My wife called me in a panic while I was at work to say that our toilet was backed up and spilling into our living room. I quickly contacted this company for assistance. On the phone, they were quite friendly, and they scheduled a repairman to arrive right away. Their staff arrived to fix our toilet within one hour. was friendly, competent, and explained what they were doing. They were pretty upbeat people. The toilet is promptly fixed. I was quite happy and satisfied with their service. I gave this company a 10/10 overall rating and would use them again for all of my plumbing and air conditioning needs. I heartily endorse them.

Start to finish Fuse provided great service. I’m so pleased with the decision to use this company. When the heat went out durning the recent cold snap we called a couple of places none worked out. After calling Fuse we got an appointment the next day. Prior to showing I received a text with the technician’s name, picture, and phone number. It was nice to see a face and a great safety measure to offer customers. Our tech Gene was awesome!! He explained the issue and kindly answered all my questions. A little over an hour from his arrival the heat was back on and the issue resolved. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had.

I used Fuse for 3 projects, upgrading our gas furnace to a heat pump, an electrical service upgrade & solar panels. Overall, they did reasonable work, thus some stars, but they failed to deliver parts of the project and are not returning my calls. Given that all these items are things that require maintenance and they don't even bother returning calls or emails, I can't recommend them.The heat pump project was actually great. Price was fair, they delivered quickly and the install is very well done.The electrical service upgrade was painful. They were supposed to install 2 240v outlets at the same time, but this somehow got lost and the installer showed up without the necessary equipment. Since the utility had already cut power to my house, they upgraded the panel and said they would come back the next day. They never did. I called Fuse many times about the issue and they said they would check with the installer and call me right back, which they never did. It's been 5 months now.They new panel they installed is also not very extensible. The conduit they used is already full, without any new circuits installed, which is really disappointing.The solar install itself was well done, but the process was painful. Their permit guy is really not on top of things. It took 5 months to get the necessary approval. When they finally got it, they somehow hadn't ordered the panels I asked for. They did give me arguably better ones for the same price, but this was a stressful process. The price for the panels was above other quotes I had, but given they had done a good job with the heat pump, I went with them.Solar equipment is something that will eventually require maintenance and I unfortunately don't have confidence they'll actually show up to do it.

Fuse replied promptly when I submitted a request to Yelp for new furnace and AC replacement. Konstantin came the next day to check the problem and emailed the estimate within the same day. He was willing to work on the numbers with me to come close to my budget.The next day job was scheduled. Kay and Andrew came promptly and worked diligently to make sure both units were installed and ran properly until late evening. All the staff are very responsive and respectful. I highly recommend this company and will use again in the future.

Matt was great!.Our furnace wasn't working after the strong winds two days before. We had a low voltage situation due to lost neutral on the power pole. When PGE finally fixed the issue two days later, the furnace did not turn on. Fuse was the second company I called based on the google rating who had an appointment to come out the same evening between 4 and 6. Was happy when Matt called and asked if he could around 2pm. He was very professional and courteous. He asked if I would prefer him to wear shoe protector and wear a mask. I explained to him what had happened. He opened the furnace, checked the fuse to make sure they hadn't blown out. Then he checked the voltage and he confirmed that the voltage coming into the transformer was 120V but nothing at the other end, which should be 24v. He said that would have to be replaced and hopefully the circuit board was ok and we would only know once the transformer was replaced. He was going to schedule it for the next day as he would have to get the transformer. I asked him if there was any way we could have it done today. He made a few calls and said he would have to go get it and then come back and install in the evening. He quoted me what it would coast and I was ok though I had no price comparison. I wanted to get it done as we were out of heat for the last 2 days and the house was at 52F. He came back in an hour or so with the transformer and took about 20 mins to install it and it worked. Luckily it was just the transformer!!.It was a pleasure to have Matt do the job. Non nonsense, get in and get out unlike a few we had in the past where they would try to prep you for a potentially big job saying it could be this, it could be that etc etc. Very smooth experience and would love to have them take care of any HVAC issues. Will definitely update this review if any future visits aren't as pleasant. Hopefully they can maintain the same quality of service.

I would want to appreciate this company for the excellent service. The staff told me they were booked till the next week but would stop by that day when I contacted about our broken heater. They came out and installed a part, but they later told my husband that a new furnace would be necessary since they didn't think the part would function. We were aware that a new one was required, so he scheduled us for the next day. fantastic customer service

I hired Fuse to install a level 2 EV car charger. The overall process was smooth, with updates via text and email through the permitting process and scheduling.The installer was friendly and competent. They arrived on time within the 1h window I was given. They answered my questions and accommodated my requests for the details of the installation ( e.g. how to make the setup look good, where to drill to get to the roof and where to route the conduits). They cleaned up thoroughly before leaving.They provided an estimate after conducting an interview via Zoom. The appointment was set up and confirmed via text. I had to take pictures view email, of the meter and electrical panel with close up for details on the breakers, such that they could do the load computation.Overall, they have their process in order and provided quality service. I’d say their prices are competitive.

We had Fuse replace our condo roof-located heat pump and it’s associated air handler/heat exchanger in our master closet ceiling space. Fuse showed up right on time, were polite, professional, and very neat - drop cloths and shoe covers, etc. - and finished the whole job in one day, they left the closet spotless. Very, very happy with the work and the cost - significantly less expensive than other local vendors and they were the only vendor who didn’t require me to have the closet ceiling removed and then reinstalled.

The tech was absolutely stunning and helpful!!! We always have been working them since from long time. He always let us know that our capacitor was leaking, but working at manufacturing specs and that all other parts of our AC systems were running well. so he gave us several options on what we could do along with all the possible warranties, and we decided to go with oe of his recommendations. the tech replaced our capacitor, showed pictures of the replacement, recommended we clean our filter, and we are all set to go!!!

Over a weekend, our air conditioner failed. They promised to send someone out that afternoon when I called them on Monday morning. It turns out that I needed to replace my A/C unit, but it would be challenging to get one. That afternoon, they located a unit, but they also need a different component. The crew searched for the required part over the phone until 8:00 that night. They were able to locate it and had it sent to them so that it would reach by 11:00 the next day. My air conditioner was back in operation by 1:30 that afternoon after they dispatched 2 technicians to install the unit on Tuesday. Superb! I cannot express how wonderful this company is. Furnace needs urgent repair on a Friday night in the winter when the family is away. The personnel promptly reacted to our message, and by Saturday midday, they had arrived on the scene to repair a capacitor and got the system up and running. There was no pressure or sales pitch to do more than was necessary to get the unit back online despite the complete explanation of the problem and clarity around the possibility of other issues (older unit). We highly recommend this company and will use them as our first port of call for any future work or replacement equipment.?

This review is actually covering 2 jobs. I've had great experiences with these guys. In Dec.2021 Fuse did my electric panel upgrade and a ceiling light installation and I was totally happy with everything about it. They also threw in an electric vehicle outlet installation for free. They were on time and worked efficiently and cleaned up well at the end. The new panel's been great and has had no issuesThe inspection process was prolonged by a PG&E error and then by my own family emergency, and Fuse was completely accommodating and on top of getting things sorted out. Every single person I dealt with was pleasant and professional, from the estimator to Anna on the phone to the technicians who did the work. .More recently I had them install a ductless heat pump/ air conditioner, with one condenser outside and 2 air handlers inside. Again I was impressed with everyone. Mike answered my endless questions during the initial visit and was completely knowledgeable. The technicians, Anton and Vincent, were superb. They arrived at 8a to begin. They identified an issue that had not been addressed on the work estimate, and that was going to complicate and prolong the job. I assumed a new estimate would have to be done, but no, they assured me they would honor the original estimate and do any and all necessary work. An Eichler home can present unique challenges, and they came up with a clever and creative solution to hiding conduit in a tricky area so that it's out of sight instead of conspicuously ugly.They put drop cloths inside everywhere they'd be walking and always wore shoe covers. They even covered my furniture. They quickly made friends with my skittish dog. That first day the 2 of them worked 12 hours and barely stopped to eat. I repeatedly offered food and drinks, but they only accepted water. The entire time both of them were nothing less than friendly and pleasant. The following morning (a Saturday) they returned for 3 more hours of work, just as pleasant as before. They thoroughly tested the system, made sure I understood how to operate it, and cleaned up impeccably before leaving.In between these 2 jobs, I received an email about a free workshop Fuse was offering at its office in San Jose. They held it in the evening (thank you!) and invited anyone to come and learn about home improvement. They had equipment we could look at and basically took questions about any- and everything related to the work they do (HVAC, electrical, electric vehicles, plumbing, solar panels, rebate questions, etc etc.). I was there almost 2 hours and they were still talking to people when I left. My understanding is they do these workshops periodically.Does any other company do this kind of thing?? Seriously, I'm asking. I'm betting not. Just wow.Furthermore, they offer plenty of discounts and incentives. They send really informative emails about home improvement topics, and I received a helpful video about how to prepare for the HVAC visit. They have great videos on their website and bonus, they have a sense of humor!Pricing is fair and so far worth every penny.In short, I've used plenty of workers in the 15 years I've had my house, and Fuse has been a standout. Great customer service, wonderful work ethic. I'm about to hire them a 3rd time for a plumbing job.

During the hurricane, our AC stopped working. I made some calls and discovered that other places had a $250 minimum fee. When I called the company, I was told they only charge for service calls. It was excellent. I was then informed that a service member will get in touch. The staff said they might be here between 2:00 and 4:00. Today, five minutes after two, they arrived. They outlined the problem and provided an upfront price warning. Others would have attempted to upsell and overcharge us. The personnel was really trustworthy and professional. I'll give you a call and ask for them if there are any other concerns. I appreciate the positive experience.?

Fuse service technician Valerii A. did an excellent job on our broken heater. Valerii was able to identify the heater not auto kick-off issue as the motor requires replacement, showed my wife not moving motor recording and got it fixed. Also went the extra mile to use a thermometer to measure hot air ventilation and find out it was not hot enough, tuned the temperature up, replaced the air filter in the ceiling and notified us better to replace the air filter every half year. With these fix & tune-ups, even last night outside went down to 34F, I no longer heard the heater non-stopped triggering and pumping for a couple of hours at dawn. Heater becomes more efficient, one or two pumps could last for hours. Awesome job Valerii and thank you so much for letting us have a real function well heater!

This was a big, challenging job: Replacing our old central heating and AC system with a modern ductless mini-split solution. We went all-in with seven indoor units and three condensers! Aesthetics were super important - indoor units had to be positioned as discretely as possible. This made the job much more difficult but it was worth it. Our house now has a modern climate control system that is ultra-responsive, ultra-controllable and ultra-efficient.(For those curious about mini-splits and why we chose to go with a 100% mini-split solution, I’ve added a few words at the end of this review.)HVAC is not something you want to cut corners on. The quality of the installation can be just as important as the quality of the parts, so it pays to get it right. I had already enjoyed a great experience with Fuse before, and I was happy to discover they were Mitsubishi Diamond certified dealers. Mitsubishi are widely regarded as the top manufacturer of mini-splits. Diamond certification provided us reassurance that we were getting a great installation, complete with a 12 year parts/condenser warranty.As expected, Fuse rose to the challenge. Our installer Slava and his colleagues Anton and Alex knocked it out of the park with impressive ingenuity, determination and professionalism. The job took three of them six days to complete. They worked tirelessly from 8.30am until 7pm. At the end of each day they diligently cleaned up after themselves with a brush and vacuum. Late one evening Slava even made a last minute visit to Home Depot and reconnected our gas water boiler’s flue pipe so my family could have hot showers. He also returned on a Saturday night to check a teething issue with one of the condensers. My wife and I were super impressed by his dedication. (Also: Huge thanks to project manager Zack for tracking all the details as this complicated project evolved.)The finished result exceeds even my high expectations.Slava and his team found resourceful ways of concealing lines behind walls and in the gaps between floors. Considerable effort was spent installing condensate pipes for exporting moisture. This meant a lot of cutting and drilling. Usually, the simplest installation is on an exterior wall. We however were asking for four interior wall and two ceiling placements. Despite this being a lot more work I am very grateful the installers respected our wishes. As the home owner it makes a profound difference.But why did we replace everything with mini-splits?Our house was built in 1970. One of the first things we discovered was the woeful central heating and cooling system. It barely worked. We considered replacing the gas furnace with a modern variable speed one, replacing the ductwork and installing a new AC. However the remodelled upstairs area was beyond hope - the house had simply not been designed to circulate air up there.Thankfully we now have technology that was simply not available in 1970: Ductless mini-splits.Instead of relying on cumbersome ducts to blow air around the house, heat energy is efficiently transported via compact, flexible piping. These lines can be routed through the structure of the house much easier than ducting. Eliminating ducts also eliminates the need for cleaning - there is nowhere for dirt or bacteria to build up.The temperature of each indoor unit can be controlled independently. You only need to heat or cool the areas you want, saving you money and helping the environment. It is also directly circulating and conditioning the air nearby, providing a very fast, responsive system.Mini-splits are inherently modular - multiple indoor units can share a single condenser. Multiple condensers can also be installed if the layout of the house makes it difficult to run all the lines to a single outdoor unit.Our plan over the next few years is to transition away from fossil fuels and make our house 100% electric with solar panels. Getting rid of our gas furnace and investing in all-electric mini-split technology is our first step down that road.

As a very satisfied customer, I recommend Fuse Service with no reservations for any HVAC work for the reasons below. Also attaching pictures of the finished work.The new HVAC system they installed for my condo was superior to the old one I inherited:1. Uses electric heat pump instead of hot water for heating (smaller gas bill in the winter and eco-friendly).2. Ceiling fan coil is very quiet. My old one sounds like a commercial jet taking off.3. The louvered panel is so easy to operate and uses pre-cut filter. My old one was very hard to close and used cut to fit filter.4. The dumb thermostat was replaced by Nest PRO smart thermostat.Pricing and warranty:1. The price was very reasonable. They did NOT raise the price given in the estimate for the final invoice.2. 3 years labor warranty. Most contractors offer only 1 year labor warranty.3. 10 years parts warranty by Carrier.4. The estimate from Fuse Service was itemized for labor and parts. This indicates transparency (honesty). Some contractors don’t itemize and this is a red flag.The installation work done was very professional:1. I did NOT need a drywall contractor because they cut with precision. One less headache.2. The technician Aleksei is EPA certified.3. It was a tight workspace in my 1 bedroom condo and that creates challenges during installation. But Aleksei and his helper (also called Aleksei) were mindful of property and cleanliness. The heat pump goes on the roof and presents challenges.4. Aleksei’s problem solving and trouble shooting skills were exceptional. He also knows the electrical side.I recommend a prospective customer to be patient during installation. Sometimes, there are challenges that present themselves which were not anticipated during the estimation.Final words:The whole lifecycle of the project was supported by Jeff the sales manager/estimator, installation scheduler, customer support, invoice department. It was a streamlined and seamless process from start to finish. And of course, the haul away and recycling of the old system is included in the price.

There was an issue with the top unit HVAC that was installed by another vendor and was informed issues with circuit breakers and power supply. As I have recently installed the mini-split by Fuse, I was thinking was this a possible cause? Called Fuse and in 15mins, Angel (Alex) appeared at my door step. He confirmed mini-split power supply is installed correctly and helped to take a look at the problematic HVAC by the other vendor. The first time they came out to replace a breaker and suggested replacing the whole panel because of its age. They gave me an estimate for that as well as for raising the height of the service line in the backyard. Almost a year later I asked if they could update the estimate and add what it would cost to remove some ugly wall sconces from my living room. The new estimate was almost exactly the same price as the old one, even with the additional work and the time that had gone by. The second time they did work for me was based on that estimate. He came out and were professional, courteous and friendly. They even offered me an alternative to save money, which I decided not to go with, but I appreciated the offer. We had a great experience with FUSE Electrical. They removed old indoor fluorescent skylights (wiring/ballast was hidden in the attic), replaced with new wiring/LED lighting. We also had some questionable old indoor switches/wiring redone & updated to smart switches. They also installed new exterior lighting, and new indoor/outdoor outlets. We are very happy with the whole process. FUSE was very easy to schedule (it required 2 iterations of estimates as we figured out what work we wanted to have done & 2 days to complete the work). They communicated well about their arrival, as well as being on time for all appointments. Our technician Dmytro was a great help in recommending different ideas for our projects that we had not considered, as well as specific parts to choose from. He convinced us to convert to smart switches which has been a great choice. While the work was being done he checked with us frequently to make sure it was what we wanted down to the details, and explained what he was doing so that we understood how things worked. I appreciate how interactive the process was, and that he was respectful and took time to educate us. We highly recommend FUSE for the quality of the work and how smoothly the whole process went. We requested FUSE to give a quote for repairing our AC as we knew it wasn't working properly. The response was received within an hour and a date and time arranged for someone to come out. Martin arrived on time, was very courteous, professional and thorough in explaining what he was doing and what he'd found. Our external units needed replacing, which we knew from a previous estimate, and our internal unit required a repair. We received a quote for the replacement & repair, which was significantly less than another company, and went ahead with the work. Again, Martin came on time and was extremely professional. I reached out to Fuse for a transfer switch installation job. They have been responsive and effficient from the beginning. Jacob has been my main point of contact. We chatted via Zoom, to go over the cost, timeline, and process in details. He was transparent about every single concern that I had. What an amazing guy. Ash has been assigned to me as the permit handler and he's also very professional and responsive too.The hero that I want to give big kudo to, is Slavic Tokar, who was assigned to do the work onsite. He arrive punctually and presented himself very well. The transfer switch I order came with shorter cables which added quite a bit more complexity to the project resulting Slavic had to spend time going back and forth to fetch more parts to perform the work. The work was estimated to be completed within 4 to 5 hours, but he ended up spending more than 2 hours to complete it, and he has done the work amazingly well. It has been a really hot day (over 90s) on Saturday, Slavic has demonstrated what a true professional is by having a positive attitude whenever I spoke to him. He never showed any sign of frustration, annoyed or negativity. He walked me through the transfer switch operating frequency patiently, and cleaned up the debris before he was ready to leave. Slavic is a true asset to Fuse Service. He is the reason why Fuse has earned so high of score in Yelp. Slavic will be successful in any companies he works for and if I ever need to get more electrical work to be done for my house, I would love to have Slavic to be back.I think Fuse is a succesful company not just because they cover so many different types of services, but has hired many talented great people. We have excess solar energy and our AC/heater were getting old and breaking down, so we got a new high-efficiency Mitsubishi heat pump installed by Fuse. We were satisfied with the entire process and now our heat pump cools and heats our house using less electricity annually than our old AC, not to mention we don't have to use any natural gas for heating. Also the system runs much quieter than our old AC and heater. I got several estimates from other local companies, and Fuse's estimate was more thorough and less expensive than the others when it comes to a heat pump install. They also followed up to help me get two heat-pump-related rebates (BayRen and TECH CCI) that made the system an even better deal. I highly recommend them.

I found Fuse a pleasure to work with in responsiveness, detailed estimates of the work before beginning, and availability. However, I was surprised that the bill was more than the estimate since they had full information to accurately scope the work. We had them add on an inspection of additional work on a fan while they were already onsite. The cost of inspecting the additional job was not discussed and charged $99. I thought this was an excessive charge for the minimal additional effort during an existing job.

We hired FUSE to install AC, upgrade our panel, rewire the whole house, and install a few dozens of recessed lights.The AC job went very nicely. We ran into some scheduling issues with the panel and rewiring job, and I wrote a long post about it. Since then the business owner Adam has got in touch with us, and after the final inspection he personally delivered us the final bill to make sure that we are properly compensated for those inconveniences.I removed my original story because the scheduling issue was due to a temporary issue with their staffing (their lead electrician broke his leg and they had to hire a replacement in short notice, which was really hard post-covid) and it should not be a story future customers need to reference to when deciding whether to hire FUSE.Adam demonstrated the utmost sincerity and spared no efforts to make the job right for us. It is very rare in an environment where many contractors place profits first.

The technician arrived on time and went right to work on our heater. He knew exactly what to check for and diagnosed the problem very fast. He got everything working properly and then went on to double check the air temperature (air coming from the heater) in the bedrooms and showed me that they were not consistent. He offered to do an adjustment/calibration which worked as he re-checked the temperature in each room, which are now the same.I would recommend Fuse in the future, and they are now my choice for HVAC service.

I called my service guy, Sergey, at Fuse regarding the service of a pool heater and he had their dispatcher contact me to set up an appointment. When Vlad arrived exactly on schedule the next morning he was surprised to learn the issue was with a pool heater. Guess somehow this detail was missed by the dispatcher. Instead of suggesting I contact a pool heater service company, he decided to look at the heater himself. Within 15 minutes he trouble shot the problem to an electrical connector that was improperly seated, perhaps due to prior rodent activity inside the heater. Vlad could have easily walked away and left me with the problem, but he didn't. As usual, Fuse was awesome.

We are pleased with Fuse HVAC. The woman answering our call, Jane, confirmed they could replace our broken bathroom fan (Attic Crew, Calvey, and American HVAC had declined the job). We commenced communicating via email.Fuse HVAC manages its logistics online, which is both convenient and not yet streamlined. I liked that I could send them our attic photos and got a 3% discount for using their virtual estimate. The estimated price was breathtaking, but the pandemic makes it hard to find folks and this repair would require working in a cramped attic. Before the work had started, their system started asking me in emails and texts to give them a 5-star Yelp review for a chance at $100 off; while I get that companies live or die on good reviews, I don’t like or accept such rewards. They provided a detailed written estimate, but it wasn’t clear that I had to click a link in the email to approve it (the downloaded PDF doesn’t include an approval link). We set an appointment for Monday morning, a few days from then; they let me know how long the work would take and the name of the technician. I received some redundant emails and texts, which was a bit annoying.As for the work itself, technician Valentin did a very good job. I did like that I got a text telling me when he was on his way. He showed up on time, wore a mask, put on booties inside the house, and laid down tarp to protect the workarea floor. He cheerfully went up in our low-headroom, hazardous attic and replaced a broken bathroom fan, created a new roof vent, and installed a duct from the new fan to the new vent. Some of the work was listed on the estimate but somehow didn’t get communicated to him before he came to do the work, which meant he had to improvise (luckily he had scrap drywall pieces to seal off the bathroom from the attic, though we still have some minor drywall work to do to finish the ceiling). He went up on the roof to install the new vent kit (with critter grate) and apply sealant, which set my mind at ease that we shouldn’t have leaks. In the end, he finished the work in half the estimated time, two hours instead of four. On my request, he took before and after photos, which he then appended to the final invoice so I could download the whole thing for my reference. Payment was super fast and matched the written estimate; I just tapped my credit card on his device and signed with my finger.Overall they did a 4.5-star job for us. I’m rounding up to 5 for availability, quality, and speed.

Eichler radiant heat boiler was making a lot of noise, heat wasn't working. The heat hadn't been used for many months since it was so warm since spring.A couple wekks back, it had been getting cold at night, try to just use the thermostat to turn the heat on as usual. Following day, a next door neighbor was having their roof refoamed for several days, so there was a lot of construction noise.Didn't immediately notice the noise from the boiler.Construction work next door finishes, then could tell the noise is coming from our boiler.It appeared to not be lit, so, try to get the pilot lit, that lit fine, but there was still this loud bad noise.Turn off the heat function on the thermostat and turn off the gas for the boiler.Leave mesaages for multiple radiant heat sevice repair companies. Get in direct contact with Fuse whom immediately schedules for the following morning.Vlad from Fuse shows up a little early and is ready to work. I explain to Vlad what's going on with the radiant heat boiler, he listens and also has notes from the initial service request call I placed, so he just needed to see where the boiler is.I leave him alone to do his work. He is no nonsense, very focused and professional, as well as polite.About 45 minutes later he is finished. He shows me through what he did and the condition of the equipment. Old rusting leaking valves, and rusty water in the boiler, which he drained, and repaired the valve leaks as best as can be done without causing further damage, as it is old and corroding, got the boiler working.$199 total, which includes the $99 diagnostic fee applied, so like $99 + $100, fair price.Recommendation is to replace the boiler since it's very old and is rusty inside as the water which was drained looked like liquid rust.He informs me their company has a specialist for these types of radiant heat boilers, and the price of the boilers are less than the labor to replace, and they will send email estimate with options.Happy with the whole experience so far. Fuse immediately answered the phone, was polite and professional, immediately scheduled appointment, sevice technician arrived promptly and ready to work and was aware of what was needed, so their office staff dispatch coordinates and communicates effectively with the techs.Technician doesn't waste time, is professional, performs work as requested, doesn't try to pull any funny stuff, they are transparent and honest and up-front about everything. Also, the technician contacts the office immediately to arrange for an estimate on boiler replacement.Technician emails the invoice to me, which has option for online payment. However, we paid him by check, so when he sent the invoice, it reflected that the invoice was already by check and nothing further was due.I really like how well organized this company is, and how efficient they are.Definitely will recommend them and use them in the future.

I had called Fuse for my AC Repair, the service team was responsive on the Yelp app, which was great. But on day of repair, the technician said he needed 2hrs for diagnostic and was gentler that he did not have time. We advise him that we were open for remainder of the day. He kept complaining, then when I called the help desk, they said he is aware and will do full diagnostic and maintenance. He was done with repair and diagnostic in 1.5 hrs but refused to do full maintenance as looking inside the house was not part of the service. Disappointed- I even had the chat and he wasn’t concerned, just said what he was doing.

My dryer kept tripping the breaker. As I kept putting the breaker back and it killed dryer heating. Then breaker was ok but no heat. So I replaced dryer fuse by myself and heat back but it started tripping the breaker again. All voltage and stuff looks fine at dryer connector, power plug holes and breaker. I ran out of option and called Fuse as they seem to be expert on both electric and appliances. They immediately responded, gave us diagnosis quote, scheduled, arrived on time, diagnosed and even fixed it. I will come back to Fuse for any house problems going forward.

Boy, could my timing have been any worse? Just after a massive heat wave I decided that I need a heat pump HVAC system. Not only were heat pump components scarce, but estimators were scheduled many days out. Then, a friend recommended Fuse Service in Santa Clara. I called and was scheduled for an appointment with an estimator the next day. Dennis did a quick and comprehensive estimate and sent me an estimate that evening. The system I wanted, Carrier Infinity 24, was priced about $11,500 lower than a previous bid and they had it in stock. A very fair price, considering the current situation. Fuse is not trying to gouge like some others. Other systems that Fuse quoted on were also fairly priced in comparison with other quotes received.The installation was scheduled for 3 days after the initial call.The projected installation time was 3 days, but Garry and Maxima got it done in 2 by working very intensely. Garry did a great job of explaining the system’s operation.All in all, I’m sure glad that I went with Fuse!

Slavic and Arsen came out to install ground rods, rewire the connections to my main panel, remove all remaining knob and tube wiring in the house, rewire switches and outlets that were previously on knob and tube, and rewire my doorbell with chime. They did a fantastic job, truly amazing. They also checked into an issue I was having with my sprinkler system. After the work was complete he verified everything was working as intended and cleaned up the work area as well. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their work to anyone

FUSE HVAC performed a semi-annual maintenance checkup for us. The service technician promptly arrived right at the start of the appointment window, and I received a notification text ~10 minutes prior saying that he was en route. The technician was polite, professional, respectful of our home by wearing booties indoors, and thorough with inspecting our HVAC system. What was especially great was that he gave us a heads-up that by 2030, our gas furnace will no longer be up-to-code (due to new California regulation), and that we will need to replace it with an electric one by then. We still have some years until that time, but we appreciate knowing so early in advance so we can plan our finances accordingly. Additionally, the FUSE service office can provide us with a consultation whenever we're ready to take that step. I highly recommend this company to those in need of HVAC maintenance and repairs!

(cross posted from my Yelp review) We contacted Fuse shortly after we moved into our new house and found that the AC was out of service. The technician showed up promptly during the scheduled window and checked out the issue. We received a clear diagnosis and estimate (as well as helpful tips on how to order replacement furnace filters ... which wasn't part of the service call but very useful for us as new home owners). Later, we booked service. Communication was clear and polite. The same technician promptly communicated his arrival time (a slight delay from his previous job, but still well within the quoted time window). The repairs were done within the estimated time, and for the quoted rate. While inside, the technician kept his mask up and booties on. Although we haven't hit the hot season yet, I am glad we got Fuse to repair the AC when we did and would not hesitate to recommend them.

I had a power surge from PG&E's pole, and it damaged several of my circuit breakers (Wouldn't reset). The technician, Dmytro, actually showed up early and he was very professional and forthcoming with troubleshooting and repairs. He had to run to Home Depot for some replacement breakers and provided my with the receipt and only charged me for what they charged him. We had emergency gas leak on Friday night at 8pm, I request for estimate and they gave me an appointment for Monday within 10 mins. Since we have home warranty, we did not confirm the appointment and home warranty plumber's earliest appointment is Thursday and we decided to go for Fuse. I used FuseService to install a new HVAC system to replace my current furnace.TLDR: They are fast and quality service but be sure to scrutinize the details or else you will end up paying for it.I initially got a quote from them about doing an install. I had some concerns about HOA approvals but was assured they would fix any issues. I took that at their word but came to realize my mistake later. They would only fix the issue if the HOA had any issues before the installation started. I would recommend a full detailed plan for how and what the FuseService technician would be doing and what their plans are. This may be a bit excessive and potentially annoying the technician but would give people looking to add/upgrade an HVAC system peace of mind.The other issues that I came across with their installation methods was that anything they needed to do/drill/cut out was done at their discretion and I was not consulted with. These things may have been smallish but would have an impact on the aesthetics of my home. I wished I would have been consulted on drilling a secondary hole for pumping out excess water from AC condensation.After installation, my HOA told me that my installation was improper and needs to be moved onto the concrete. I reached out to the HVAC installer hoping that I would be able to do the modification easily and hopefully cheap. They quoted me 10% of the initial installation cost for moving the outside A/C unit less than 5 ft. I thought it was quite high.HVAC Items to watch out for:Outside A/C Unit- Where they will install the outside A/C unit? Will it be bolted to the ground? Will it pass permits/inspection?Inside Unit- Where are they drilling for the access to the inside unit? Where are they drilling for access to the electrical panel? Where are the breakers going to be installed?- Where is the condensation from the AC unit going to go? If it is going to be piped out through the roof, where are they going to drill the holes?- Will the current air return location have to be modified?I personally will look for other HVAC installer in the future.

Roby came out to give me an estimate on replacing my current HVAC system with an electric heat pump system (I was looking at a Mitsubishi ducted system). He was awesome, even going up into the attic (and it was really hot up there!) while others I called only popped their heads into the attic opening and could not really see what I currently have; truly impressive. They won't stop bugging me for a review despite the fact that I only got a quote but didn't hire them, so ok, they get a review. The quote process was fine and I have no complaints about that, however...Beware that if you even just get a quote from this company that they'll repeatedly send you emails asking for a review, whether they actually did work for you or not. Furthermore, at least some of their review request spam lacks unsubscribe links, which is of questionable legality (CAN-SPAM is pretty clear about opt out requirements), and even reply emails politely requesting they stop were returned undelivered by their apparently broken email setup.Do what you will with that information.

Great experience. Our AC stopped worling and the cable was busted somehow. There was not a way to teplace the cable as there is no soace under our house to pass the cabke through it. So the Techinician provide an wireless solution that worked very well. After the service and the techinician left the house, we noticed the NEST was tirned iff but the outside was still running for a couple hours. Technician kindly came back next day to check everything and everything is worling properly.

I reached out to FUSE for heat pump and furnace replacement. Unfortunately, the project has run into trouble even before it started. Here is what happened1. The project manager promised that the project is eligible for 4k of rebates from the government. He confirmed this multiple times in person and over email. However, the rebate coordinator later stated that the rebates were not available since the project was scheduled too late. I am disappointed that the project manager was not honest about the status of the rebates.2. They sent multiple variants of the estimate which were different from the quoted price. When I enquired about the discrepancy, I was told that this would be fixed later. However, even after multiple calls they could not send me the correct estimate. This seems very suspicious to me.3. The project manager (Frank) was unresponsive for weeks. He was out of vacation and did not delegate the project to any one. My questions kept getting bounced around among various people who would provide inconsistent responses.Overall before the project started, I am left with an impression that this is not a professional outfit and I am concerned about handing them such a large project

Highly recommend Martin as the very professional technician came earlier this week that fixed my A/C problem.He was able to trouble shoot step by step by measuring voltage and pressure values through my A/C unit, furnace and the thermostat to root cause the problem and fixed that in the 2 hours visit efficiently.He was also able to explain my questions and provided me some very useful HVAC knowledge in a patient way.I had a very pleasant experience with Martin and Fuse this time and they will become my go to company if I have any HVAC related issues in the future.
