I found them on Angie and sent a message around 5AM. I received a call back @ 7:17 AM from Jennifer very nice and professional. She confirmed the 1st available window I selected 12 to 2pm today. I received a 2nd call at 850 AM advising they had a tech that could be here with in 30 mins. Carlos showed up on time and was very professional. He took pictures to show me the issues, and explained 8 different options/ cost from all repairs needed to just the immediate issue. I had them fix it all today, he did a wonderful job. Explained and showed me everything thru the process, looking forward to them being my new plumbing company.

Isaac & Ryan are Very polite, considerate & family oriented. They made me feel safe, comfortable & confident about they're help. They both went above & beyond. In the future I will always call on them because I feel safe & trust them. I'm a 65 year old woman alone & I completely trust Isaac & Ryan through the Barker & Sons plumbing company. 5 stars in every way!! 😊

I called Barker and Sons Rooter and as I suspected we had a pipe leak of some sort. Jesse and his helper arrived promptly. They were considerate, organized and professional. He explained he would have to do a leak detection and confirmed we had a slab leak. He did an excellent job and was very respectful to our home. This is a great company to do business with as they guarantee there work and have outstanding customer service and communication. I highly recommend this plumbing company

A very professional company with many of its employees with GREAT attitudes. Benito, one of their leaders, is AMAZING because he explained things to me me in simple and clear words. He truly cares about doing quality work and making sure the customer is happy with the work. Barker and Son is VERY fortunate to have him. I love the guy and is the reason I will use them for my annual maintenance work (hydrojetting, etc..).Honestly, Benito is a great, genuine guy that cares about people and his company. I was very impressed with him and the reason why I insisted in buying him and his colleague dinner (pizza), and tipped two of his workers. I normally don’t do that, but I felt I had to because of their great attitude. Thanks, Benito!!

I called them yesterday morning to come out and assess the problems. Piotr (Peter) is a great old school technician. He told me what the problems were and what needed to be done. It was a bigger job than I was able to handle alone. They arrived 8:30AM this morning, worked on the jobs, 4 hours later everything was done. Great professional service by both, Piotr and Kendrick.

I Highly recommend Barker and sons for your plumbing needs. We had an excellent experience with Orlando and Isaac. They both were very professional and came to our house with masks and wore foot covers when entering. Orlando went over the estimate before proceeding with the work. They did a fantastic job! And I will add they are so nice! We have used them for all our plumbing needs in the past and definitely will be using them for all our future plumbing! So glad we found this company. I had a problem with my drain which had backed up and caused my toilet to overflow. I called Barker and sons and they were literally in my house working within 30 minutes. Sam was the first to arrive, he was super professional and friendly. Cody arrived shortly afterwards and used the camera to take a look into the drain. He saw the problem and was able to clear it quickly. These guys were so fast and professional, they explained everything including my options. I would HIGHLY recommend Barker and Son's plumbing. Very pleased! Anthony came to our home in San Clemente to do an under house, visual evaluation of the cast iron sewer lines.He provided a comprehensive report of what he had seen, but felt he needed to take it one step further.He broke out his pipe inspection camera which provided even further details of the sewer lines.An honest and no pressure report. Would highly recommend!

They made sure their masks were on correctly and took time to put booties on over their shoes before entering the house. After careful inspection, the problem was determined (a broken air gap which also was clogged), as well as the cost to fix it.After signing the quote they got right to the problem in a very professional way... totally explaining what they were doing while working. They also told me about the chemical that they would be putting into the drain to help alleviate the clog.When the work was finished they cleaned up after themselves, presented the bill, and now our kitchen doesn't smell anymore. Hoping I don't need their service again, but I will call them BACK to fix any new plumbing problem! They are great!!!P. S. They office staff is just as wonderful...concerned, kind, and they get you service right away in a friendly manner.

Excellent local company! We were in an urgent need of a new water heater and after calling Barker & Sons, Missy told us that someone could come over the very same afternoon. Missy was very friendly and provided all the needed information. The next day Joseph and another colleague came in the morning and changed the water heater in a few hours. They were very professional, efficient and friendly. The job was well done and they cleaned everything once done.I would recommend this company to anyone who needs a plumber.

The technicians Christopher and Ricardo were fantastic. They were experienced, knew what to do, and even went beyond normal procedures at my request. My yard drain problem was successfully resolved. My only knock on Barker is their pricing. They seem about 20% higher than average.

Derek was the technician that provided the jetting service of my sewer line. He did a great job. He was able to show me the current situation of my sewer line and afterwards the results of the jetting. As usual Barker and Son’s technicians are very professional, courteous, and educate their customers. I took advantage of the membership program and plan to use this company for future needs.

Everyone at Barker and Sons Plumbing is welcoming, professional and kind. The work on our house in Newport Beach has been fantastic so far and we are very happy with the results. The communication and scheduling has been great too. The only negative is that prices are quite high.

The team was courteous and professional with their communication and their service. They helped clean and degrease our main kitchen drain line all the way to the main. They even ran a video camera down the line to be sure the line was clear. I would recommend them highly.

Ryan and Derrick were very professional in their work. Ryan came out and cleared out the pipe. Derrick used the camera to showed the grease build up. Prices were very fair and service was exceptional. Overall, I would highly recommend their services.

Very dissatisfied! We prepaid $11,000 for a bathroom remodel which included hardware and installation. Their Installer was fired and our project was ignored until we inquired weeks later. They had assumed the project was complete. The hardware was a finally delivered and was wrong. They refused to take the hardware back. We ended up paying for new hardware again and had to pay for the installation which we had already paid for. We were overcharged about $1400. The owner refused to even take our calls to dispute this. Avoid this company.

We have used Barker & Sons several times since purchasing our home last summer and we receive 5-star service each time. The administrative team is always kind and helpful when scheduling services and they are great at communicating on the day of service, so we know exactly when to expect a technician, seriously so great not to have to wait and guess about when someone will show up. We also are part of their membership program, which has really paid for itself by a lot by this point. We get discounted service, priority scheduling and extended warranty too, its pretty relieving to have that safety net.Today Dylan repaired a valve and replaced our toilet and it was truly the best service I've ever received from any company, he is a truly good person committed to doing great work. He was on time, wore a mask and booties, made sure to explain our options and helped us feel certain that his interest was to make sure our needs were best met. He was very thoughtful in our home and left the workspace cleaner than it was when he came. He was kind and extremely helpful and we are so happy with the quality and efficiency of the service he provided. The pricing we received was extremely fair for the expert level service we got. I noticed my toilet was leaking and the floor was wet so I called Barker & Sons and immediately was able to schedule a time for someone to come out. Our water heater needed to be replaced and we requested quotes from several plumbers last night. Barker and Sons were the first to call early this morning. Within a half hour Dylan came by to assess the situation and provide a quote. Dylan was professional, courteous and answered all of our questions before getting started. Soon our new water heater was installed and everything was cleaned up. Dylan also went through a quick tutorial on how to re-light the pilot should the need ever arise. Later in the day we received a call from Barker and Sons to make sure the service was performed to our satisfaction. This evening we noticed that prior to Dylan arriving they had sent us an email introducing our technician and providing a photo of him. We are very happy with the service that we received and will definitely call Barker and Sons again when we need a plumber.

Overall very happy with the experience at Barker and Sons. Their call center workers are very responsive and friendly. They sent over a plumber named Nate. He was the best!! Highly recommend him as he knew everything about plumbing issues. He helped us install a new water heater, do a water leak inspection and fixed our water pressure regulator. Very accommodative to services and scheduling. He stayed almost until midnight to get the job done!

I'm more concerned with the clearing of the pipe/drain.. like how long will it last before I give a good review. But I will give four stars because the gentleman who performed the service had a great personality.. he always made sure to get my attention to talk with me step by step, he was very thorough, and explaind to me what he was doing, when he was doing it, and why he was doing it. He answered all my questions respectfully and he was very courteous, like a good friend, He also made it a point to get my attention to show me all the grease and sludge that he was getting from the snake as it went from the kitchen area to the bathroom. Now I realize for the best results I must stop doing things like pouring grease down my kitchen sink drain no matter how small the amount is, and I'm very interested in using the product he recommended to me (I purchased) for my drain maintenance (Bio One). He also recommended the hydro pressure treatment, but before I make that decision I want to investigate that a bit more. I also have a few more pressing issues at my place that I must take care of before I make the decision for the hydro pressure treatment. But I am satisfied with the service.

I am extremely pleased with the service. An inspection of my property associated with a home sale was scheduled in the afternoon. Just before the appointment, the kitchen sink clogged. I called several places, but no one could commit to fixing my problem before the inspector’s arrival. Barker promised to help without reservation. One of their personnel arrived quickly and promptly unclogged the drain. Very grateful to them.

About a week or so ago, I noticed water accumulating on the floor. I assumed someone spilled some water on the floor and cleaned it up. A few hours later, I noticed more water. I figured the leak was coming from the kitchen sink. I decided to call Barker and Sons to come check it out. This was not the first time they’ve come out, however it was the first time they sent Michael. Michael was very quick at diagnosing the problem. It was not the sink, but the fridge! He went over all the possibilities on how fix the issue at hand. Once we came to a decision, he realized he didn’t have one of the parts he needed in order to fix it, so he went to Home Depot to pick it up. Before he left we joked about him staying for dinner, he politely declined and made his way to Home Depot. While he was gone, my family and I were trying to figure out a quick and easy meal, as it was already getting late. Michael arrived a few minutes later WITH DINNER IN HAND!!! Not only did he fix our leak (at a great price), but he also brought us dinner. We were so grateful for him! Thank you Michael for going above and beyond, it was a small gesture that made a huge difference! Looking forward to requesting him for future projects.

Jeff and Will did extraordinary work upgrading our home from an interior tank water heater to an exterior tankless. After seeing a commercial that stuck in my head, ran a search on google for plumber near me and Barker & Sons came up, gave them a call, main line was backed up bad, Carlos Perez arrived in what seemed a matter of moments, assessed the situation, advised it was time for a main line cleanout install. They came back the today, and promptly began, Carlos Perez is a professional and takes pride in his work, his colleague Bany was professional and treated our home like it was there. After the main line cleanout was installed you could not even tell they had to remove half the planter of plants, they replanted everything, swept, and hosed off everything as well. Truly an amazing experience, to have the pleasure of dealing with Carlos Perez and Bany, I highly recommend you use Barker and Sons and if you are lucky enough to get Carlos Perez you are going to be happy you received him as your plumbing technician. Nate was very professional and courteous. I simply could not use them due to my inability to be able to pay their quoted price for the services I needed done.

One of dreaded thing as home owner during holiday happened. Water leak. I was able to reach the team at Barker & Sons as soon as possible and they were able to secure a technician to come to the house first thing during the day. Jeff who has previously done excellent service in installing our house's water heater, arrived to save the day. The source of leak was not visibly apparent but he has taken diligence to identify with minimal breakage in dry wall. It was not easy job due to location of two pipes that crossed where leak was but he has managed excellent job in removing the compromised part of the pipe, placing a new thicker pipe in place of it. Took couple hours but I'm glad that it's job done right. I truly appreciate Jeff's willingness to help, explain in clear manner and given the scope of the job I felt the pricing was fair. Thank you for your services and although I hope I won't have any more water problem at the house, I know at least who to reach out if I do. Happy holidays.

Called Barker and Sons to come fix a main water line break. I have used them in the past for other services, including installation of a tankless water heater, and other smaller jobs. This job was a huge one, and I was not looking forward to the initial quote that I got. To be on the safe side, I contacted several other plumbers to get other estimates. At the end of the day, I decided to go with Barker and Sons, and I was happy that I stuck with them to do the job. They did it quickly, professionally, and answered all of the questions that I had. The price was fair. They also went above and beyond and took care of some other minor repairs that were involved indirectly with the main line. They also did a fantastic job with the concrete repair. If they could do this job, I am confident that they could handle any plumbing job that was thrown their way. I also have to give a shout out to Ryan and Daniel. Great work guys!!

We had a plumbing problem in both of our bathrooms on a Sunday morning. Toilets would not flush and water was coming up the showers drains. Cody came to our home and was very professional and courteous. He explained in detail what needed to be done and contacted Derek to bring the camera so they could look at the main line. We received fantastic service from Matt at Barker and Sons. He came out late in the day on July 3rd to replace a disposal. He did not have the item on his truck so he went to buy a new one and came back to install at 6pm. He installed the new disposal quickly and efficiently. I was very impressed by his professionalism and dedication. He was prepared to come back on the 4th if he could not get the parts on the 3rd. Barker and Sons is always my 1st call!

I called Baker & Sons Plumbing & Rooter to fix a leak in my slab foundation, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She provided a time window for the plumber to arrive which was later that afternoon. An hour later she called back that the plumber would be available in an hour if I wanted to have the plumber right away. i said yes and she sent me a link with a picture of the plumber, and a tracking link to where the plumber's progress to get to my house. The plumber was a perfect gentleman, clean and professional. Right away he determined how to fix the leak and gave me two options. I selected repair and he proceeded to fix it. He tested the repair several time to make sure there was no leak. I highly recommend Barker & Sons and would use them again.

Tree roots under the slab of the house causing blockage! This was a very large job involving the excavation of the garage flooring and digging down and under the slab of the house. We had at least 10 guys working on this project for over a week; each tackling a particular part of the job. They were a great bunch of guys, polite, knowledgeable, hard workers, kept things clean, a pleasure to have around, and more importantly, they resolved the issue! We absolutely recommend them! Everyone I interacted with was wonderful. Polite friendly and incredibly reliable. Called Sunday afternoon and pump was installed by Monday afternoon (even with having to order the pump I wanted). This was super nice and helpful because we didn’t have any hot water for showers.James was incredibly helpful, answered all of my questions and just an all around nice human being. On a Friday, Jimmy Kelly came to home to repair my faucet that stopped working and reseat and replace toilet screws. SUPER PROFESSIONAL, great demeanor, and went above and beyond. The faucet really he could’ve called it a day and just charged me for a whole new faucet… but he went the extra mile and found a way to fix mine. The same with the toilet… which was a MESS underneath, he cleaned it up pulled out the broken bolts replaced the top plastic.Again above and beyond and really could’ve just said hey you need to replace everything.Honest and hardworking people are rare these days, really appreciated. I needed to have a kitchen and bathroom faucets replaced. I had already purchased the faucets I wanted so Nate only needed to install them. My kitchen faucet plumbing presented some difficulties because the cabinet is small and he had to work around the all the plumbing, but he did an amazing job. The bathroom was much more straightforward. I would recommend Barker and Sons to my friends.

Barker & Sons delivers excellent service once again! Orlando came out to my house two days in a row to inspect a blockage in the sewer pipes of my home. His experience coupled with Sean’s expert skills at maneuvering the sewer camera made it a breeze to identify the source of the problem. Made the call this morning to Barkers and sons and customer service was excellent. They had a technician come out right away within an hour. Cody and Derek showed up. They are very professional and helped with our main line drain that was backing up. Cody was able to clear it out and Derek came with the camera to show us what the problem is and what we can do to fix it. They explained the problem. Both of them are very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be using Barkers and sons for other plumbing issue we may have in the future.

I woke up to a puddle of water in my downstairs hallway. I asked my neighbor for a recommendation and they insisted on Barker and Sons. I called and was greeted by a friendly woman who took my information and informed me that a technician would be to my house sometime before noon. Right before noon, Jeff Amend arrived at my door, introduced himself and took a good amount of time to look at my situation before offering solutions. Jeff was very professional, very knowledgeable and had a great personality. He got to work and within a few hours, the leak was identified, the pipe was replaced, and the water was flowing regularly in the house. On top of his craftsmanship, he also took the time to assist me with reviewing a couple of other issues that could lead to additional leaks in the future. I am very appreciative of his work and I will absolutely reach out to him again if I have any further plumbing issues.

This was a tough repair on very old pipes under a very old house. They diagnosed the problem, drew up a solution and presented it to us. It involved cutting old cast iron pipes and splicing in new ABS piping.All went well and the job was completed in 2 hours. All 3 technicians were great.Would call them again on a heartbeat.

Story of events. I discovered a leak in my wall this morning with water all over the floor. I called my HOA for help and no luck. I called my insurance for help and they said they would have somebody here in one hour, only later to tell me that we were out of the area and they could not help. I then called Barker and Sons. They had somebody at our place in a reasonable time, it was a little bit late in the afternoon and they stayed into the evening to fix the issue. They were knowledgeable, worked hard, and the price was extremely reasonable. Very satisfied customer and I will recommend them to anybody and everybody that I come across.

I was referred to Barker & Sons by my mother-in-law. I’m so glad we called them. From the moment I called to schedule an estimate to the follow-up call from Mimi, this was a 5 star experience. I am in the hospitality industry and have very high expectations which typically fall short, but not in this case. Even the plumber, Hector, who came for the estimate and stayed to perform the work was exceptionally polite and kind. The estimate was comparable to another we had received, however the customer service we have received from Barker & Sons has made it the much better choice. Hector worked quickly and cleanly and gave us several estimates for future work. I ended up purchasing a membership they offer which gives discounts on any work they perform as well as yearly checkups. I would highly recommend Barker & Sons to all of my friends and family and look forward to hiring them again for future projects.

Technician Gabe and his team were called for repairing the rusted out toilet flange and installing a new toilet. Gabe explain the options I can take and the work process professionally. He and his team performed the task with skills and good workmanship. Majority of job was completed the same day and remaining installation would have to wait for the glue to dry and set. We were happy we chose Barker And Sons as the y came within 2 hours when we called with both toilets overflowing and bathtub filled. We felt it was very costly but the job was mostly done well. They had to jackhammer the driveway twice and we’re very disappointed in the way it is repaired. It needs to be corrected as it is slopped over on to our brick ware. An eye sore.

I contacted Barker and Sons Plumbing to repair a massive water leak in which I suspected was inside the foundation slab of my home. They immediately sent Ray to my rescue. He first explained the procedure that he would be utilizing to locate the leak (due to fact the leak was not visible) and then make a determination on how to effect the repair. Once the leak was located he explain the best way to repair it. After explaining the different methods to repair the leak, a re-route was done. I can't begin to tell you the efficiency in which he did the work. He explained every detail of what would be involved and most importantly the cost, and the amount of time it would take. He made sure to keep the work area clean, and he treated our belongings like they were his. He is a true professional who takes pride in his work. I would not hesitate to request his services again. I called because my water heater was not working. The receptionist was great. They had someone come out to look at it. But they did not even try and diagnose the issue. The person just tried to start the pilot light (which I already had tried to do). Then gave me a quote of $900 to repair it or $3,000 to replace it. I told them no thank you, and they still charged me $49 for the diagnosis, even though they never loosen a screw on the water heater. I called a second place who came out and took off the igniter and diagnosed the issue. Then gave me a quote of $350 to repair or $1,450 to replace the water heater (same brand water heater as Barker and Sons quoted for $3,000). I cannot believe the difference in service and price. Unfortunately, Barker and Sons was a disappointment for me.

The receptionist was very friendly and got a plumber scheduled for the me same day when I had an emergency leak. Matt was friendly and helpful and found the issue right away. I will say the company's pricing is very high and I wouldn't use them again unless it was an emergency like I had. I was charged $260 for a valve change and they wanted $900 for a water pressure regulator change which is quadruple the quote of my local plumber. I'm glad they had availability right away to help me with my leak and I recommend them for any urgent issues.

Tyler was the technician on this latest service call and was great, being prompt and polite. A manager also came by and assisted with the use of a camera. This person was very experienced and again provided some education that allowed me to better understand the issue.

Barker & Sons provided fast and excellent service. The technicians (Jessie and Gabe) did a quick evaluation then provided several options for the replacement. They then quickly obtained the replacement water heater and provided quick installation, which included replacing a corroded ball valve. I highly recommend this company.

The company was very helpful from the time I called to make the appointment all the way til after the technician left. Pioter (not sure how to spell his name but pronounced Peter) was amazing. He explained everything to me and was very respectful and helpful the entire time.He didn't rush into tearing apart my house to fix the leak but started with the simple solution which fixed it so that was a plus.When making the appointment the person taking my call was kind and helpful as was the person who called to let me know that someone would be arriving in 30 minutes. After the technician left they followed up with a call to make sure that everything was done to my satisfaction and that it was all taken care of.This level of customer service is not found very often anymore, so thank you Barker and Sons for being awesome!

Our office building was experiencing a back up in our toilet. We called for Barker and Sons for the service and they responded and scheduled to come out the same day. Orlando Guillen, our technician, seemed very knowledgeable and was very professional. After inspecting, he fully explained and showed us the evidence through camera that the main line needed to be cleaned. It was recommended to hydrojet and install a two way clean out. His working attitude gave us confidence to have him do the job on the spot. We're looking forward to a problem-free result.

Orlando came a few days ago to provide a quote. And after obtaining a few other quotes from other plumbers, I decided to go with Barker and Sons based on experience with Orlando. He walked me through his recommendations for my backed up drain and explained the various issues that can come with a 60 year old home's sewer system... I scheduled the hydrojet based on his recommendation. Orlando showed up this morning along with Derek and Luke to hydrojet my drain and then used their camera to show me how my drain looks after being cleaned out. The pipe is encrusted with scale which is what happens to a house over 60 years without routine plumbing maintenance. They went above and beyond sending a camera down my vent to locate the sewer main in my yard. They worked up a few quotes to descale my sewer lines and another one to install a new clean out for my sewer main. I couldn't thank them enough for all the time they spent explaining the processes and reasoning for the future work. I would definitely recommend Barker and Sons based on my experience!

I had a trouble with my dishwasher not draining the water. I called Barker and Sons to come and inspect my dishwasher. They sent Dylan to check out my dishwasher. We had made a mess of trying to install shower hardware in ourselves. We called another plumber who said they were 24/7 but were not. We called Barker and sons and they sent Dylan out. Barker & Sons came to our house this past Saturday night about 10 pm. Our dishwasher was leaking onto our floor & we were unable to stop it. They arrived within 30 minutes, stopped the leak and charged a very reasonable amount. AJ, the plumber, was clean, professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. My husband and I felt very uncomfortable having him in our home.We definitely plan on calling Barker and Sons in the future!

My experience from start to finish with Barker & Sons was excellent, from the moment I spoke with Missy, the receptionist to the project completion with Jessie & Ernie. This is a highly professional company, with technicians extremely experienced, efficient, fair priced, polite & friendly. Jessie & Ernie arrived exactly on time. You can even track their transportation arrival to your home. When they arrived they made an excellent assessment of my gas line from the main to the BBQ, which I knew needed replacing as the wrong pipe had been installed a number of years ago & was quite rusted. They took photos and had an estimate for the job within a very short period of time. Jessie suggested a couple options without any pressure. I trust them completely.They arrived the next day on time. They completed what I know was not an easy job within a few hours. They again took photos of the completed project. Jessie made sure to walk me through the work they had competed and made sure everything worked properly. I HAVE PEACE OF MIND KNOWING THE PROJECT WAS DONE CORRECTLY. I won’t use another company. I am in South Orange County and they traveled a long distance from North County.Don’t hesitate to call Barker & Sons, they are simply the very BEST.

I called one company prior to your company but could not get me in until next week. They were not friendly over the phone, also outrageously priced.So I called your company and I would highly recommend this company. This is the second time I have used Barker and Sons plumbing. They were honest and courteous and did excellent work. Roberto came out and traced the leak from a cracked water line by digging after dark, then clamping it carefully so as not to cause further damage until it could be replaced. He was helpful and explained each step. Then Cameron and Julian came to replace thewater line. They worked several hours digging and boring and replacing the line and several parts as needed. They were hard workers always polite and explaining each step. They were even polite to an older Asian gentleman From the neighborhood that was so interesting in the project that he watched for a long time and really wanted to help. Barker and Sons are MY plumbers from now on.

On New Years Eve 2021 I found my water heater was leaking about 10 AM. I tried several plumbers who were too busy to come out. I found Barker and Sons Plumbing in Yorba Linda where I live. I called about 10 :15AM and spoke to Missy who was very helpful and told me that they would have a technician out today to either fix my water heater or replace it. I was fairly sure it needed to be replaced. Missy kept me updated on when I would have a plumber to my house and by 2:15 PM a young man by the name of Orlando had arrived from Barker and Sons. He gave me several options, and I told him that I would prefer to replace my water heater since I had had it for 15 years . Orlando assured me that it would be all resolved this afternoon. I found him very caring and reassuring. He ordered my water heater which another representative from Barker and Sons brought to my house within about 30 minutes. In the meantime, Orlando drained my old water heater, removed it from its location, changed out some of the connections that needed to be replaced. By 4:15 I had a new water heater and 45 minutes later I had hot water. This was all done on New Years Eve 2021. I have no reservations or hesitation about recommending Barker and Sons Plumbing and if I ever need future plumbing needs, they will be the first I call. Barker and Sons was called out to install a new garbage disposal and shower cartridge. The technician seemed to install the new garbage disposal fine. He mentioned that he also messed around with the dishwasher air gap while he was working under the sink. He said he tried to tighten it and showed me that it was loose. I said it was never that loose before and has been working well the last two years. He said he tried hard to tighten it up but could not. He asked if we wanted the air gap replaced for $378. I declined. We used our dishwasher two days after the technician left and water came shooting out of the air gap and poured down below in the sink cabinet. That was either an awfully strange coincidence or the technician caused damage to the air gap while attempting to tighten it. I called Barker and Sons and they advised they would send someone out in a week. I clarified that I need someone to come out the next business day due to the serious issue. The phone rep put me on hold and then advised that they would try to come the next business day. We will see if this issue gets resolved.

Fantastic service! I was informed by my water company that I may have a slab leak at one of my properties in Orange. My neighbor referred me to Barker and Sons Plumbing. I called and spoke with Missy who was very helpful and assured me that they deal with slab leak detection everyday and not to worry. She sent out a plumber the next day. I briefly showed him around the house and then he began the leak detection. He was very knowledgable and professional. He then explained where the leak was, the solution to fix it and was able to do the repair that day. I am not mechanically inclined but Will took the time to explain everything to me in terms I could understand. I really don't think you can beat that. I am very happy with the services this company provided and everyone was extremely accommodating. They called me before they arrived and after they were finished to find out if I was completely satisfied. I really appreciated that. I was very happy and have since referred my friend with a water pipe leak and she too was very happy. I highly recommend this plumbing company.

We have Orlando to do our faucet. He was very nice, punctual and efficient. He assessed the problem and made sure that you’re not paying more than what is required of. I’m loving this company because of the service that I received and I totally recommend this company and especially Orlando. You would never go wrong. He was incredibly kind, he explained everything in detail as to what needed to be done to correct the problem and we are very pleased with him. First off, I rarely post reviews but look for positive ones whenever I need service. I am writing this to say a big thanks to Danny at Barker and Sons Plumbing & Rooter. I recently (02/04/2021) had a blockage in my new construction townhouse causing raw sewage to outflow from the mater toilet on it's own and cause major damage on the third and second floors of my home.In a panic I called Barker and Sons and they sent Danny out at 11pm to diagnose the situation. Danny quickly determined there was a blockage above the second floor and in about 30-45 minutes he was able to clear the blockage. Danny was very professional and a great asset to this family run business.If you are looking for a great family run plumbing service, look no further. Call them and ask for Danny to assist!!!!

When our water heater broke suddenly at night, I was so relieved that Barker and Sons was able to send someone right away. Orlando, the technician, arrived promptly, walked us through all of our options, and showed up bright and early the next day to install the water heater. Its a rare thing to find a company that truly prides itself on professionalism, integrity, and customer service and Barker and Sons Plumbing & Rooter is that company!! We had a slab leak at our home in Whittier, and were so worried we could be facing a huge and unplanned expense in leak location, pipe rerouting and slab/wall repairs. Long story short, Will and Van from Barker and Sons came out this morning, located the leak very quickly, did the repair and were very respectful. They minimized the time the plumbing was not accessible, and notified us ahead of time. Will and Van did everything possible to make sure everything went well and that we were not inconvenienced. This is the second time we have used this company and I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs. They are prompt, courteous, and just an all around great company. First time we used them it was to snake a drain, second time was a 23k sewer line repair. Because of how sweet and accommodating they are, it definitely took the sting off. Orlando is a really great guy, super friendly and honest, really a pleasure to deal with considering the circumstances.

James Kelley was the most helpful and knowledgeable plumber we have worked with. He’s super friendly and did an amazing leak detection walkthrough for our massive irrigation system and crawl space. We will definitely be using him for all our plumbing needs moving forward! He also checked out our water pressure which was way too high and the regulator was improperly installed by a different company a year ago.

From my panicked call on Sunday with Alex, to the scheduling/update calls on Monday with Missy/Misty and Anthony to the actual service call with Dominick and Jesse, I received outstanding, courteous and professional service. Jesse and Dominick walked me through the repair options, answered all my questions and kept me informed throughout their analysis of the situation. Realizing my house only has one toilet, they ensured a timely repair without cutting any corners and doing whatever they had to do to complete the job properly and on the first visit. Had a pinhole leak in an underground water line to the water tank. Called around to several companies all saying that they wouldn't be able to do same-day service or would cost 3x standard cost. Finally found Barker and Sons online, called them, with an hour a technician was here and working on the repair. Solid service, quick turn-around time, and professional attitude. Will definitely be returning to these folks for any future repairs, replacements, or installations!

I’ve had a frustratingly slow clearing commode on my second floor. I employed two different plumbers in an attempt to diagnose and fix the problem without resolution. Apparently, competence and professionalism finally won the day. I telephoned Barker and Sons this morning in another attempt to fix the problem in anticipation of guests visiting during the holidays. They handled my call professionally and seamlessly. The plumber (Carlos) texted exactly 30 minutes before arrival. He promptly and expertly (and finally) properly diagnosed the problem, augured the drain and “viola” it (finally finally finally) works properly. Carlos was a pro, payment via credit card was automated, receipt emailed, and mission accomplished. After this, would I use them again? Absolutely. Recommend them? Yes, without question.

I called in to make an appointment. Everything was very easy and very pleasant.The appointment was scheduled, but then I received a call from a supervisor. They knew I needed help sooner rather than later. They let me know that a project scope had grown on them and that they would t be able to be out as quickly as they had said. They offered me two choices. I could stick with an appointment a week later, or use another company that they would refer.Let that sink in. That’s great customer service. That is putting the customer first. Nice job by the team at Barker.I did not use them in this case, but the customer service will make me call back again. We called Barker and sons for an estimate on a bad leak. They sent Orlando out to assess. He was a super cool personable guy. He gave us a reasonable quote so we went with them. It was late on Saturday afternoon, he blocked it off for the night and he was back Sunday morning to fix the problem. Kudos Orlando and thanks Barker for hiring honest knowledgeable employees. Shady from the get go:- Selected 'Free leak detection' for Saturday, 2pm - 4pm- Very quickly I get a phone call that results in me being told that there would be a $39 charge for them to come out (online it said free) and that they only have an emergency staff over the weekend and that it might be Monday ('oh, our schedule doesn't sync correctly to the website').- Monday he shows up, looks around a bit and then gives me a questioning look if he should start the leak detection. Yes, isn't that what you came for? oh yeah, but that's a different tool and will be $560 (what happened to Free leak detection?!)- I had another guy lined up that wanted $250, so I told him that and he went to go call the owner and suddenly there was a special and it is $250- So he does his thing and tells me that we have a slab leak and two options to fix it: reroute the pipe ($4k) or repipe the house ($18k)- He then does a water test, tells me we have great water and that our water filter is working... but he quotes me a new water filter anways....Not to keep the story going (as there is more):- I called a repiping company, they came for free and quoted $9k- I called another plumber that came and did a full leak detection for FREE and told me that we didn't have a slab leak, we actually had a leak on the main line, so we should just have gardener fix that.So I was really surprised to see all the good reviews and had my hopes up; unfortunately that is not how it turned out for me and I will definitely not use or recommend them again.

Hooray! Customer service is not dead! This Company, Barker and Sons Plumbing has been on the ball from my first call to the technician's estimate and beyond. The ladies I spoke with to set up the appointment were very helpful and courteous. I was kept 'in the loop' the whole time from first call to the technician's arrival either by phone call or text. Connor, the technician who worked hard to give me a fair estimate, was helpful, courteous and friendly. I really can't say enough nice things about him or any of the people I was in contact with at Barker and Sons Plumbing. Within ten minutes from the time Connor left, I received a call from Barker and Sons Plumbing to make sure that I was happy with the technician's service. Barker and Sons Plumbing serviced my water heater needs. The call center was courteous and informative. Daniel, my technician, was amazing. He was on time, communicative, informative, available, professional, and patient. I ended up having a water heater and a breaker issue which required Daniel to come back twice. Daniel was able to take me through all of my options, provofe recommendations, and see things through resolution. They're a little more pricey but my piece of mind was worth it. I got the membership so I know I'm in good hands. Definitely recommend Barker and Sons.3 months later, I called Barker and Sons to check my water heater because it didn't seem to be staying as hot as before (winter months). I was driving home from vacation with my husband and we pulled up next to one of their vehicles (Barker and Sons). We knew we where coming home to a clogged shower drain. We called them when we got home and the lady that answered was very sweet and helpful. They came out same day and probably within less then 2 hours after calling. The service tech that came out was timely and a very nice guy. He took care of our clog in less then a half an hour. I would recommend their service to EVERYONE!!!

Had an excellent experience with James after he helped discover a major issue with our water heater on top of helping us remove a smell from our upstairs master bath. I needed them to come on Tuesday to snake the outdoor pool drain but mother nature would not allow it because it had been pouring. Missy called me on Monday to tell me that it wasn't possible. She advised that they would be coming on Thursday. They were scheduled to arrive between 1-3:30. She called when they were caught up in traffic to let me know they were running late. When they arrived Frank V the tech came out checked the drain and also did a courtesy check on my kitchen faucet which was leaking. He tightened the pipes and did not charge me. They cleaned out my pool drain from the mud and debris. I am happy to say that it was done quickly and they even cleaned up. Missy then called me afterwords to ask about my satisfaction of the service. They were exceptional and were able to provide professional service. I found them on Angie's list and they honored the promotion. I would recommend them.

Easter Sunday with a full house for dinner, my rental property in Orange had a completely clogged main drain. Rich, then Derek, and Dominic came out and systematically figured out how to clear it with numerous challenges on this property. They were the most professional, patient and personable servicemen I’ve come across in years. The pricing was more than fair, and offered several options for a permanent solution in the future. I will highly recommend Barker and Sons!

The only reason I’m giving a 4 star rather than 5 is that the kitchen drain cleaning service was about double what another reputable plumber is charging. The plumber, William, was right in time, well groomed, polite, informative, and had a great attitude cleaning out a drain under the heat on this 94degree day.

We have used Barker & Sons before, so they were our first and only call. The office staff (so sorry, I didn't write down her name) was very friendly. Took all the details and let me know they would text 30 minutes ahead of time. Texted as promised, which is great, because I was able to move my dogs upstairs.We had a clogged drain in our kitchen sink. Barker & Sons dispatched Carlos Perez to take care of it. He was professional, friendly, and thorough. He explained what steps he planned to take, tested the clearing of the drain, and walked me through the experience and results.Pricing was higher than the past, but it has been a few years. Everything is more expensive. I believe their prices are in-line with other options. In this case, it was $250 to clear the drain.We will use Barker & Sons again, without hesitation. No stress. No BS. Just great service.

Kevin, the plumber for Barker and Sons Plumbing did a excellent job on my plugged drain in the kitchen. Kevin was clean and smart, as I tested his knowledge with some trick questions and he passed with flying colors. Their prices were reasonable too.

We had a bad leak from our main shut off and also, our shut off valve behind the toilet was leaking. Water was everywhere and we were stressed out. Mike from Barker and Sons Plumbing came out on emergency call on a Sunday and was able to repair everything at a reasonable price. No more leaks! He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely use this company again and request Mike. We are extremely satisfy.👍

Main line caused back up. My regular plumber was not available. Since it was a Saturday I searched and found Barker and Sons. The reviews were good and I called. Missie answered right away and scheduled me. Less than a half-hour later I was notified Pete was on the way and to expect him in about 30 minutes. The really nice thing was the link had the picture of Pete and the ability to track his progress. He arrived as specified and asked about the current problem and those in the past. After clearing the main he ran a camera down the main and showed me the cause of back up and recommended the fix. Less than a hour after the company sent me a proposal for my consideration.Superior customer service, friendly, knowledgeable and no pressure tactics. Kudos to Pete his assistant and Missie.

I called Barker and Sons for an estimate to fix a broken secondary sewer line. Roberto arrived on time. He was thorough and provided detailed explanations of the problem. A camera was used and he shared the footage, explaining each issue as the camera captured the image. After reviewing all the lines, Roberto provided detailed estimates with several options. As he reviewed each option, he showed photos or drew pictures to explain how the repairs would occur. I appreciated his attention to detail, his honesty and his ability to explain how the repairs would be done.

I do the sewer drainage and hydro jet main sewer through outside clean out. Hydro jet to cut all the roots damaged my main sewer pipe lines. Orlando is my main service technician. He done an amazing work. Christopher, Albert and Ricardo are helping Orlando to finish the work. They done great job. I called Barker and Sons because I had my gas turned off by the gas company because of gas leaks around my meter on the outside of my house. Since the gas company wouldn’t repair the leaks because they were on my side of the meter, I needed to call a plumber for the repairs and fast! No heater and no hot water on the weekend nonetheless.I called Barker and Sons early on Saturday morning and James was at my house within 30 minutes. It was a complicated repair so he spent quite a bit of time on it. After the repair, he tested all the gas connections inside and outside my house. He even found a small leak inside my house. He did a high quality job and was very thorough in his attention to detail. Very professional and friendly, a real pleasure to deal with. I will certainly use their services in the future.

I had my water heater explode when I was away at work so when I came home my home was flooded. I didn’t know who to call so I googled after hours plumbers and decided to call barker and sons. I spoke to Alex on the phone who reassured me, while I was in frantic stressed out mess by the way, that they could help me out. He calmed me down and dispatched a plumber to me right away. Dylan came by and took care of the situation promptly and efficiently. He was very knowledgeable and made sure my old water heater was safely turned off and the existing water was drained so it wouldn’t leak on my floors anymore. His trustworthy behavior put me at ease and I ended up purchasing a tankless water heater from him which he quickly installed the next day so I wouldn’t be inconvenienced for the holidays. More expensive than others, but quality and professionalism guaranteed!My 13-year-old garbage disposal stopped working and Jeff replaced it, including some of the piping that was really old. In the past, I used Barker and Sons and always had an excellent experience. Despite the higher than usual prices, I felt I had gotten good value for the money.The only thing that in hindsight I am not crazy about is the upselling. With the repair, I was also encouraged to purchase a membership which I didn't need, based on my past plumbing needs, so I do have some buyer's remorse for actually purchasing it. Although it's good for 30 months, I doubt that I will benefit from the membership much.

We had high water preasure in the house that caused damage to our water softener system. Piotr came along with his associate and took his time to remedy the problem in a very through and professional manner.

My kitchen faucet broke right before the holiday weekend. The company was great working with me to get an appointment before the weekend when no one else could come out. Michael was timely, professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to others.

Fast response, always on time, technicians are super professional and clear my kitchen drain easily using the snake and also ran camera to let me visualize the grease build up inside the pipe. Also recommended me to do the hydrajetting to solve restore the drain pipe along with the bacteria stuff to help preventing future grease buildup. Love the team, would definitely recommend them!

I called for service. Repairer came with iPhone. Took pictures. Gave me quotation for new one and charged me $39. I called another four companies. Didn’t charge anything and gave me quotations for between 65% and 70% of Barkers and Sons plumbing. Completely unfair. Don’t recommend.

Barker from the first visit approached the matter professionally, even laying plastic on my floor just to enter for the initial inspection ultimately sent a team of three to handle my broken sewer issue, a shallow above crawl space installation made the task that much more challenging and not to be lost the repair site had to be cleaned of 'debris' including a small ecosystem that was established over the time of the leaks that only revealed itself when bugs began entering the home.Thus the repair became a cleanup AND repair, and they took the entire job. Derek and his technicians Cody and Ryan worked the job to completion. I had a hard stop, when the job (however complex) had to be finished. This meant a couple long afternoons including the final day. In the end this was met, and the original price of the estimate honored. I would highly recommend them to anyone for repair to their home.

Update 9/1/21: I had a major plumbing leak and the company once again exceeded my expectations. From Lexi and Alex in the office to Gary who came out and did quality assurance, I am very grateful. I have to thank Robert, my repairman, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was repaired properly. He found an additional clog and repaired it to avoid further issues. He and Steven were professional, courteous and brought me comfort in a time of stress. I appreciate you all so much!Superb customer service! I called at 6am with a clogged drain in my tub. Stay away far away. Giving them 1 star is too nice. I had a pin hole leak in my irrigation shut off valve. The tech came out and finished the job in about an hour. The charge was$510 and included maybe $10.00 in parts. I called the company to get an invoice of the work that was done. On the invoice it stated there were 2 jobs done, I guess they justify that for charging such a high price. The job that was charged and not done and not needed to be done was repair pipe in wall. That was never an issue. The pipe that was fixed was about 2 inches below the soil in the flower bed. Terrible company.

I was sitting at my dining room table when water started coming out of my ceiling fan. After running upstairs to see if there was a leak under the sink and it was dry I knew this was turning into a bigger problem. I called Barker and Sons Plumbing late in the day and they assured me that they would send someone out as soon as possible that day. They called to give me updates as to how long it would be before someone could make it out. At about 4 or 5pm Orlando was knocking at my door. He was a breathe of fresh air and very personable given the hour of day, it should have been quitting time for him. He quickly assessed the situation and opened the ceiling to find the leaking pipe right away. He was honest, friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately it turned out to be a bigger issue and had to get a home restoration company to step in. I am very grateful and much appreciated Orlando's knowledge and kind demeanor. Thank you Barker and Sons for your sense of urgency.

We had to have plumbers come out several times in the last couple months. First our water heater started turning all our hot water rust colored so we had to have that replaced, then husbands toilet started leaking. Rich helped us with these two jobs and always came across as extremely knowledgeable, courteous and professional. At least now, when all these little problems come up, I’ll know who I can rely on. Never thought I would need a go-to plumber, but I guess that’s the life of a homeowner.

William was so helpful! We are staying with my grandmother's and her water heater went out. He came out, figured out the problem, fixed it, then took the time to write down a couple of quotes for us because she plans on getting a new one anyways. But he was so polite and respectful especially because my grandmother is 92 years old so I really appreciate his approach with everything.

They told me $30 visit charge on the phone BUT, they already new it was under the house which automatically bumps it to $90. Also they have a “fixed” charge for pipe repair under the house and that was over $1300 !!!!!! Which I thought was extortionate. Given that I’m on a fixed income I thought they were polite and did a good job, but deceptive and almost predatory. I’ll never use you guys again.

I had an issue early in the morning on a Sunday, and ended up calling Barker & Sons for help as the problem needed to be fixed IMMEDIATELY. I had Dylan Allee as my technician, and he did a phenomenal job. He was incredibly kind, respectful and professional as they come. He was able to find and then explain the issue to me very easily. Cody and his supervisor came out to help me with a couple bathrooms that were completely clogged. They gave me a quote and told me exactly what they were going to do. They were both incredibly professional, friendly, and very eager to make sure that I understood exactly what the issue was and all the steps they were taking to fix it.

Needed a gas feed for a new oven. The technician Matt reconfigured the piping to make it work. He also discovered I had the wrong size fittings and changed them out and connected the flex hose from the valve to the oven. This was work done as a courtesy AFTER giving the quote. Great, proficient, courteous service.

Barker and Sons helped me with a rather nasty tree root problem in my sewer line. I'm very glad that I found them after I was ghosted by Roto Rooter and am super happy with their service. Firstly, they are incredibly responsive and communicative employing constant phone, email, and SMS follow-ups, so you always know where they are and what to expect. Seems like a small thing, but a lot of companies fail to deliver in the communications department, so I can truly appreciate their over communication. More is definitely better!The tree roots in question invaded the pipe and over time grew in both directions, clogging the pipe, and eventually growing right up out of the drain which I discovered when I pulled the toilet to replace it (I figured since the toilet was old and calcified that was the primary reason it wasn't flushing as it was still draining - boy was I wrong!).Isaac called in Derek who worked his magic with the snaking camera system and strategizing with their supervisor came up with a plan to clear the roots and save the pipe.I was afraid that the pipe(s) would need to be excavated and replaced, but they were able to grind all of the roots out and re-expoxy the pipes from the inside preserving and renewing the pipe effectively and efficiently with only minor disruption. Quite amazing technology!Afterward, Issac was able to install the new flange and angle stop and now everything is working great! Very grateful to these knowledgeable professionals for fixing my issue and for the support team's excellent communication throughout. You guys are the best! Very highly recommend!

At 10:30 at night my 1996 water heater broke and water was flooding into my garage. Panicked I called Barker and Sons plumbing and immediately was able to speak to Leea who was so kind and helpful. She dispatched a technician named Frank Vega, and within 30 minutes he was there.Frank was professional, kind, thorough, reassuring in a stressful situation, as well as up front with pricing, warranty, and interest free financing if needed.After shutting the water off Frank said that he could be back in the morning to install a new heater.In the morning Frank and Orlando promptly arrived with smiling faces and pleasant attitudes. They installed a beautiful new water heater in a timely manner, as well as educating regarding any future questions or issues.Orlando actually took the time to show my daughter and myself where the main water line and gas line to shut off in any emergency.As a single Mother with 3 children, having emergency’s like this can be traumatizing, but Frank and Orlando put me at ease.I am 100% happy with this company and I would choose them again for any plumbing needs.Both of these young men are not only masters in their field, but it was obvious this wasn’t just a job to them!They are absolutely superheroes without capes!Thank you again Frank and Orlando!

He couldn’t do work without asbestos test or proof of previous test which I understand completely but test was $650, on top of the cost to do the job. I called our HOA. They had proof but more importantly, the plumbing company they have used gave an estimate that was less than HALF of what Barker was going to charge for the job (the actual replacement of part not the test). But they were great about communicating when tech would come out. A plus on communication.

These guys are SUPER in many ways. Super nice, super smiles, super fast, super extra smile and SUPER SUPER SUPER expensive.My daughter's 50 gallon went out. They wanted just under 4 GRAND to replace. I went to Home Depot got a 50 gallon 12 year warranty Gas water heater for 900 bucks. I installed it the same day and it's running perfectly. Nothing special needed to be done to replace the water heater.

Barker and Sons Plumbing just replaced our cracked ceramic root filled sewer line and did an excellent job. They used their new sewer lining technology and did not have to dig up our yard which also saved our sprinkler system and it took them only one day to reline our sewer pipe. They also had to cut and remove a small section of concrete. They did a near perfect job matching the concrete. Trust this is something nobody really wants to do, but by the same token there is nothing grosser than having all the drain lines in your house backed up with sewage. Frank, Johnny and Missy made the whole experience very pleasant. They were all very professional and friendly. I say this because we actually had two other companies out and did not feel comfortable with either one. Frank took the time to explain everything in detail and did a sewer camera video where I could see for myself what the issues were. After the job was complete, Missy called and asked if everything was done to our satisfaction and thanked us for using Barker and Sons. All the work was done at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend and will be referring all my family and friends.

Work was performed as ordered, however there where numerous problems. I told at least 3 people before the technical arrived exactly what the problem was. However, once he arrived he only performed an assessment on drain piping which was not having an issue. He then commenced to try and upsell me on services and products which where not the reason why I called. I am unsure if this was their intenional, or just an end result of poor communication within the company.Further, while they were at my residence they made unprofessional attempts to purchase my vehicles.And in the end, after they left, they did not turn the water feed to the he back on. Guess they wanted to make sure that if there was any problems with their workmanship that they where far away when it happened.

I called Barker & Sons to check for a gas leak (my usual plumber does not have the equipment for this service). I'm happy I called them for a few reasons. First, they were highly responsive. Their team that responds to customer inquiries was professional and called back when they said they would. They were also very informative regarding scheduling for the appointment. When my technician James K arrived, he was thorough in checking my appliances and lines, only to find out it was an easy fix. To ensure I didnt go through the trouble of calling him out for something so simple, he checked a few other things for me as well. very friendly and knowledgeable. This company is great. They have a very efficient system to text updates on appointment times and status. The technicians, Richard and Dane, worked in a well planned, logical way to install a new water line for our refrigerator, and they were done faster than we expected even with needing to drill through several cabinets. We were very satisfied with the work and the price and would recommend them to anyone.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Barker and Sons. We had a leak in our dishwasher and could not shut off the water supply due to a stuck valve. I needed service asap on a weekend and tried several plumbers, but none were available for several days. Barker’s was understanding of my immediate need and sent someone the next morning (Sunday). Zachary arrived at the promised time and was polite, professional and knowledgeable. He replaced the stuck valve in question as well as one other on our bathroom. He also checked some of our other valves to make sure they were in good shape. All those I spoke to on the phone were very pleasant and helpful and made our appointment a priority since the water to our house had to be shut off while we waited for service. Will definitely use Barkers for my future plumbing needs!

Zach H. was sent out and was an outstanding representative for Barker & Sons! The performance replacing leaking faucet is fast and accurate. Very professional on the job, even clean up the dirt come out of the wall. The charge is reasonable. The option to repair the leak were offered. The house water supply pressure were checked for possible cause the leaking.This is the best plumbing technician that I ever met. The rains flooded a building at the church. I found this company online. The person with whom I had initial contact was very helpful. I received a phone call back from their technician scheduler promptly. I received text messages in response to the scheduled time for service for the same day. Following shortly afterwards, I received a text, including picture, of technician to expect. He assessed the problem and due to the problem he had to return the following next day. He arrived promptly as arranged. Our technician, Jesse, was very knowledgeable and discovered the overall problem. I was given the short term fix for it and potential long term repair - understandably, a rough idea of initiating further work needed to keep flooding from reoccurring. Jesse and his assistant were very courteous and polite. Will definitely use this company again for plumbing and other needs here at church as well as home. Thank you for everything!

I had a clogged main the day after Thanksgiving which caused my upstairs toilet to overflow into my downstairs sinks. IT WAS JUST NASTY! Anyway, being the the day after Thanksgiving and a holiday weekend, I had a hard time finding a plumbing outfit to come the same day. After calling a few outfits I did manage to get a plumber, unfortunately they were unable to fix my problem. They did give me an outrageous quote to tear my wall apart in my upstairs bathroom and put a drain out behind my toilet with no guarantee that would fix my issue. Made no sense why they would do that so I sent them on their way. Well, it was getting late and I still needed a plumber ASAP. I called every plumbing service on yelp. After going down the list I got down to Barker and Son's and made the call, they were able to send some one down the same day. I was a little skeptical since the first plumbing outfit had no luck. Grant from Barker and Son's showed up and was not going to give up until he fixed the issue. Grant called in for reinforcements to bring the camera to scope my drains. After some pipe cutting and water draining they were able to isolate the clog. BIG SHOUT OUT TO LUKE! He went above and beyond in cutting the pipe so the water would drain faster and in the process he got a drenched with nasty water. It was getting really late and the guys were able to do a band aid fix the pipe and install a drain out in the garage to make it easier to clean out my drains in the future. Following day Grant came back and finish the repair. I was so please with all three guys service and commitment in fixing my problem. They were just great!!!! I didn't mind paying the money for good customer service. THANKS GUYS!!!!

I don’t often write reviews, only when an organization has excellent customer service, or if there is a real need to caution others about pitfalls. Unfortunately, our drain cleaning job was extremely challenging. We had three other plumbers try and fail before Barker & Sons came through brilliantly.All of the other plumbers selected had good reviews on Yelp and Google Maps, but either felt like small operations where you had to chase down with a bit of text/phone tag, or like large national organizations where you were talking to order takers and salesman a bit more than a plumber. However they seemed professional enough and reviews were positive.Some were better equipped than others and in all honesty they did try. Generally, they had good attitudes, but none could complete the job. One, after an hour of trying offered to keep working with no guarantees, but a huge hourly price tag to keep working. None of them charged after failing, however. Enter Barker & Sons.I reviewed their website, and it was very professional, really quite nice and stood out from everything else I had seen. Front end staff were very nice, easy to reach, helpful, and knowledgeable. They really seemed to be on top of their customer service game from the start. It was clear they were very customer service oriented.When their team arrived, they were very professional, and had the right equipment. It was an incredibly difficult job, but they stuck with it until it was done. Given all the challenges, and the way each challenge was faced, they were a great value. I was impressed that in the face of a difficult job they made it clear how each phase would be approached, what the likelihood of success would be, and what the next step options and costs would be if needed.I was never worrying about an open ended commitment to “whatever it takes” without understanding the final costs which is very nice when you have a significant and growing plumbing issue.Derek was an excellent plumber, and Cody was enthusiastic with a good attitude but still learning, so pairing with Derek was a great way to grow the organization professionally. My water heater failed and I got three quotes. Jeff Amend was by far the most knowledgeable and through. I look through the reviews of their suggested tank-less water heater and it was at or near the top of all reviewing sites. Jeff and Gabe came over and did all the work expertly. They did not like look of my vent on the roof and rebuilt it. Very professional. I also signed up for their maintenance service which provides yearly maintenance of the water heater, extended warranty and discounts. It is nice to have someone to call, you can trust, when you run into a problem.

We had a leak upstairs and I was very concerned about how extensive and expensive the repair could become. I requested Barker & Sons wend one of their most experienced technicians, and was sent Jesse. I am very pleased to say, the service I received was fantastic! Jesse was professional, friendly, and extremely efficient. He discovered the source of the leak quickly and was able to repair it with minimal damage to our ceiling. He did a great job masking the room so there was very little dust to clean up. I have used Barker & Sons for years and I have never been disappointed with their work.

Needed service on a Saturday for a clogged drain. Through a quick Google search I came across Barker and Sons. They were very responsive and were at our home within an hour or two. Barker and Sons was very responsive and had a technician (Jeff Amend) to my home the same day! A few hours earlier I had a washer and dryer delivered by another company but they could not install the washer because the water valves had hard water corrosion. Jeff was able to replace the valves right then and there. Jeff was professional, answered my questions, and has a good sense of humor. I would definitely call this company again, especially Jeff.

Do not let the fancy website and cheery receptionist fool you. They were unable to complete a job and kept my deposit. They do not respond to emails, do not return calls and do not show up on time. They have a C- BBB rating and are not accredited.Barker and Sons was hired for a repipe. I agreed to the estimate with the understanding that the plumber that performed the estimate would complete the job. I put down a deposit and we agreed on a date. After no one showed up the morning of the repipe and not getting any phone calls from Barker and Sons, I called to see what happened. I was told that the plumber I hired had called out for the day and they were putting another crew together that should arrive around 12:00. This would enable them not to get behind on the job until the plumber I hired was available. What they did not tell me was the plumber I hired QUIT and was no longer with the company.They sent a plumber who shook his head no at everything and was so overwhelmed with the job. He and his crew were at my house for three hours. They hung two pieces of plastic and laid three pieces of heavy duty paper on the floor. I had to walk them through the job again because my original estimate and photos were not available to them. They had no idea what the job entailed. They installed a new water regulator and said they would be back tomorrow at 8:30 with a different crew because the job was so much bigger than they thought it was going to be. They did not show up at 8:30 and I had to call again at 9:00 to see why no one was on the job. The same crew who was overwhelmed the day before showed up at 9:15. I let the crew know that I had cancelled the job at 9:00 after two days of no work, not showing up on time, no communication and for the lie about the plumber I hired was never going to be available. Honesty, integrity and communication would have saved their company so much time. When I asked about my deposit, they said someone will call me. They never called and sent a fake invoice for their trouble in the exact amount of my deposit. I never agreed to any of the amounts on the invoice and can't get any response from Barker and Sons. It is not a Great Day at Barker and Sons as the receptionist will tell you!

You never know what your going to get with a plumbing company, we called Barker and Son after a quick web search. Courteous and friendly phone service. We had an inside wall leak, Orlando and Easton showed up early next morning professional and ready to work. Gave a no nonsense price and went to work. Both were very friendly. Quality of workmanship was superb but it was the personal demeanor the two showed. Too bad more companies don’t have employees like these two, as the calmed our nerves and left us with a smile.

Beware before scheduling with them. The interesting part is that I had two separate jobs and yet they’re excuse for not showing up with the same exact thing. This must be a story they give all the customers after waiting and waiting. I received a phone call from their answering service, telling me that the plumbers were stuck on a disaster with a sewage leak, which was understandable, I believed them.Then I called them back a few days later to do another plumbing, they gave me an appointment time, and I waited and waited only to receive another phone call from JENNIFER telling me that the plumber was not going to show up because he were busy dealing with an inside sewage leak. I just about died the same exact story with the urgency in her voice. Apparently she didn’t remember that the previous week she had given me the same excuse as why the plumber was a no-show after I have waited half the day!!!! Apparently this is Barker and sons “go to story” when they don’t show up for the customers they don’t show up to.Unless you’ve got all day to sit around and wait for a plumber, who will eventually not show, I would call someone else.

Orlando was beyond amazing. He was incredibly nice. Answered every question that we have and explained everything that he was doing and why. He found and fixed the leak very quickly and made sure to clean everything up afterwards. Barker and Sons was a pleasure to work with. They made sure to recommend me to an asbestos company and also the restoration company and even helped schedule my appointments and did lots of follow up to make sure everything went ok.

First off the folks at Barker and Sons Plumbing deserve 10 stars!! I was in major panic mode as my son calling saying the water heater was leaking all over the garage floor and there was no hot water. I talked to Tina at barker and sons and she would check their schedule.She called me back and said Jeff from Barker and sons would arrive at 9:00 .I was even sent a text with Jeff’s picture and a map showing where he was on the road. When he arrived,he assessed the problem and a few other plumbing issues that needed repair.Anyway the parts arrived and Jeff and his assistant were already removing the old water heater.This guy really takes pride in his work and tripled checked everything.Well they we’re there about 7 hours .The job is done ,the price was fair and I’m a happy customer.I highly recommend Barker and Sons plumbing,and a shout out to Jeff Amend !!!

Great service by Luke and Derek. They are pros. I had a drain pipe blockage and they were able to clear it, do a camera inspection , and remove the remaining stuff that’s causing the problem. Very professional and helpful.

The quoted price was way more than I felt the job was worth paying for. Therefore, I made other arrangements for less than half the price. I will continue to call Barker and Son's first for my plumbing needs but this particular time the price was to high. They are very prompt, responsive, clean, courteous and highly professional. Confirmation that no roots were present based on video evaluation. Gave good advice and made me feel comfortable. The previous technician from my home warranty stated there were roots which video inspection confirmed no trace of prior or current root obstruction. I used Baker and sons for trenchless work which still to this day has proven flawless in its operation and would highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs. As for my toilet repair, William did a fantastic job in detecting, and correcting the blockage. My toilet now operates like a well-oiled machine and our family can sleep better at night knowing we have two bathrooms that operate simultaneously. It's good to know that there are still plumbers out there who are honest, attentive, and friendly like William. I won't mention dollars and cents but they tackled this job and completed it for less than half of what other companies were asking. The company kept me informed of when to expect the technician. The technician, Scott, was pleasant and personable and after reviewing the couple if issues, he discussed his recommendations and why. He answered my questions, worked proficiently and kept the area clean. I would highly recommend Barker and Sons Plumbing and will expect to use them in the future if I have a Plumbing issue I can't easily resolve.

From the very first person I spoke to on the phone to Anthony who worked with me on the quote I knew I was working with a good company.Richard and Cody where there on time which is a rare occurrence these days. Once there they went right to work and performed a very professional installation.Richard did very good work!I would recommend this company to a friend.

Jimmy and Joe came to clean our drain that was clogged for 2 days. They helped me to understand what was wrong and the possibility for the clogged. They also explained if our sink gets clogged again I now know what to do and how to do it.

We had James out to check on a gas leak. While he was working on getting us our estimate he found a much bigger issue. We had a burst hot water pipe under our house. James did not hesitate to climb under our house to make the repair. He also assisted us with a mitigation company due to the amount of damage he found. James went above and beyond. The repair was completed in under an hour and probably saved us thousands of dollars in damage.

Eli and James did an excellent job at repairing a severe leak in my connection to the water meter at the the street. They were thorough in explaining different options with pros and cons and fixed it the same day. I really appreciated not only the work they did but also their advice, expertise and professionalism.

Needed the water shut off valve replaced. Not only did Darien do that, he also installed my dishwasher that I would have had to wait another week to have installed by Home Depot. He was conscientious and polite, and took particular care to make sure there was nothing left on the floor that my dog could have choked on. 100% recommend!

I called Barker after water started escaping from the base of my toilet. They sent someone out asap to find the root of the problem, which turned out, in fact, to be roots, lots of them, in my lateral drain. Orlando was very patient (and friendly) in explaining the problem, showing me the issue through a video cam, and coming up with proposals to fix the issue. It was clear that he was very knowledgeable and experienced. He was also masked and wore shoe covers while in my house, which is always appreciated. I would definitely recommend giving Barker a call if you have plumbing needs.

Josh and Jesse were prompt, courteous and professional. They explained all work to be performed with cost upfront including some unplanned work which was discovered during the tear out. They took photos before, during and after the installation and showed us the condition which required the additional work before they started. They installed a new closet flange, wax seal, toilet fixture, water connection, caulked the fixture, cleaned up the work area including the newly installed fixture and hauled off the old parts when finished. We highly would recommend their services with Barker and Sons for future plumbing work. They worked with us to obtain all available discounts offered by their company and provided quotations for potential future services.

I don’t really have time to write this review but I’m doing it anyways because it was a very bad experience.We are clogged toilet and a family member coming over to stay with us so we had to get it fixed quickly. I called on a Monday night and they said they had availability the next day that they would loosely schedule me and set me up for a call to set a specific time. I got a call the next day but they never actually set a time they just said that they would come over at some point in the day. I was worried that it was BS and sure enough they called me back around 4 And try to reschedule to another day and which one I told him I’d find another plumber.They’re very nice on the phone but when you ask them for a solid time they won’t give one and if you ask how many other appointments they have before you or what their general costs are they say they don’t have access to that information. The next two plumbers I called from google maps had an estimate and appointment time ready immediately.Good luck with these ppl.

Also, the plumber reviews his work when he is completed and gives you a business card and receipt detailing the work done and the terms of the warranty. You will also receive a call shortly after to make sure everything is okay. Plumbers are very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

My fiancé and I unfortunately found ourselves in a very common and annoying position a few weeks ago. The infamous leaky faucet. We had bought our home a few years back and we have been slowly but surely fixing things but by bit. Well after an attempt to try to fix it myself, I quickly discovered I was going to need professional help. So I searched google and the first place that came up was Barker and Sons. Normally I like to search a few places but the few reviews were so great. So I called. My first phone call was so great. Anthony was extremely nice and friendly. After I expressed what was going on he was so confident he could help us out. He immediately dispatched someone. I let him know that it was a small leak and wasn’t urgent but he assured me he could still get someone out ASAP without issue. Within a couple hours Orlando was at our home going over all of our options. Orlando was extremely friendly, professional, and so helpful. He helped me make the best decision for us and helped guide us through the process. We scheduled the process and saved the date. Today was that date. Orlando showed up early and was ready to make our worries disappear. Once he completed helping us he walked us through everything he had done. He stopped our leak and fixed so much more in such a short time. And now we don’t have to hear the annoying and agonizing drip drip drip of a leaky faucet. Thank you to Orlando and Barker and Sons!!

My water heater finally gave out and started leaking from the bottom. I needed to go to a new water heater and searched the web and found Barker and Sons Plumbing.I gave them a call and basically saved my day....which is an understatement!!Nate arrived on time and quickly assessed my WH issue. He was really professional and knowledgeable.He explained everything that needed to be done, and the different option of WH sizes. But most importantly, he showed me what the different price ranges were so no surprises.A few hours later, I have a brand new WH! I can't say enough high praises for this business. Plumbing emergencies are always a nightmare, but none more so than having a water heater make alarming noises and leaking at 7pm on the night before a 4th July holiday with family coming to stay.I rang this company at random after my regular plumber’s voicemail said they were shut for the weekend (with no emergency contact). Then the noise from the heater stopped and I put the phone down, relieved I wouldn’t have to face a possible emergency plumbing scam operation (I’ve been conned several times in the past). Seconds later someone called Alex rang me back - was there a problem? (There was, but it had stopped). Is the area under the heater wet? (It was). No problem - someone will come out immediately (hold on - what’s the callout fee?) No charge - we’ll tell you what’s wrong and give you a quote with no obligation.Two minutes later Alex calls back - someone called Dylan will be with you in 10 minutes. 10 minutes? They were either phoney, desperate or have the best customer service ever.Fortunately it was the latter. Dylan actually took only 8 minutes to arrive in a smart company truck, took one look and said I needed a new water heater (big sigh - standby for the scam) - right now (on a holiday weekend?) - before the leak ruined the contents of my garage (uh-oh - here’s the sting - How much?). His reply shocked me: “The heater is only five years old - it may still be under warranty - I’ll ring the manufacturer for you.” He goes to his van, and ten minutes later comes back with good news. The manufacturer will stand by the warranty, the heater is completely free, he can pick up a new one first thing in the morning and will guarantee to have it installed before my family arrives the following day. “Oh, and could you also fix the pop-up in my daughter’s sink and a bath at the same time”. It was kind of a joke, but he said he’d try.So he did - Dylan arrived early, armed with the free new heater and an assistant to help, installed it, threw in a ton of shiny new pipes, filters and a gas valve, left the garage in a far neater state than he found it - and went upstairs to sort my daughter’s bathroom (which he refused to charge me for).I was so impressed, I signed up to their “club” (one-off fee of $150, which actually cost me nothing because it gave me a discount off the labor costs for the heater). I can’t imagine I’ll ring another plumber again.

Excellent communication from the scheduling office on when they would arrive. The team of Danny and Giovanni were efficient and changed out an old gas valve fitting and flex connection. As a general contractor, I do not get easily impressed when it comes to anything related to houses but I was blown away by the level professionalism, honesty and customer service that Derek, one of Barker and Sons technicians offered. I have very rarely seen such an honest and professional person. He helped us fix a very complicated issue. I called another company before I called Barker and Sons and they came, worked for an hour, did not fixed the problem, charged $200 and left us. Derek, came and spend 4 hours. Because the house did not have proper clean out we could not use the regular spring snake. He came back the other day with a hydro-Jeter and tried to access the main lateral from the roof but the vent was not large enough. He helped us locate the drain so I could install a new clean out. The third day he came back and used the clean out (to be) access and fixed the issue. They did not charge us till they fixed the problem. Their service cost was very reasonable.Derek went above and beyond to help us which tells a lot about him and the company itself. His first priority was his customer. In every step of the way, Derek was honest and explained the issues and the options.I will be calling them soon to install the liner.I have already told many friends that if you ever get into any sort of plumbing/drain trouble Barker and Sons is the company and Derek is the MAN. I was very impressed with the promptness of Barker & Sons. I called in at ~10AM to request service on a toilet that had gotten backed up in one of our vacant buildings. I let them know that I needed it to be serviced by the end of today - assuming that they wouldn't be able to come out until 4-5PM. In a matter of 5 minutes the person I spoke to on the phone had submitted the request and gave me all the information I needed. She let me know that I would be kept posted on updates via text or calls, and that was exactly what happened. By 11 AM I received a text confirming my appointment, one letting me know when the tech was on his way, when he arrived, and one more thanking me after the service was completed. This was a nice touch to the overall experience. The tech Kevin was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He provided me with the accurate pricing and options, and showed me exactly what was going on with our toilet. He left me feeling confident that the work was done right. Highly recommend!

We've had quite a few projects done by Barker and Sons lately! They basically fixed and replaced all of our plumbing on our 100-year old house. Orlando was a great foreman. He and his team were sure to finish quickly. They were thorough and checked for any problems outside our original call (which was amazing because we thought we just needed a drain unclogged and we actually had raw sewage under the house). Frank, the supervisor, was also wonderful. Making sure everything was quality. Thanks to him, we found out our galvanized pipes were causing our horrible shower pressure. We are so excited to finally have hot water with amazing pressure. They added water shut offs in key places like behind the fridge and also hooked us up with a tankless water heater for a great price!

I had a problem with water leak and the technician Eli promptly arrived on Saturday morning. He thoroughly explained step by step what he will be inspecting and quickly diagnosed the root cause.No hidden or extra charges were made and the leakage problem was quickly resolved!I was a bit panicking at first since it’s the first time dealing with such leakage problem, but Eli came for a rescue and definitely made my day.I will highly recommend Barker and Sons :)The call & text service experience was definitely pleasing and everyone I talked to were very kind and professional as well. They accommodated to my schedule and made sure my issue will be addressed on time. Moises Ramirez was smartly turned out, affable, knowledgeable, bright and explained everything with such ease and clarity we were immediately reassured ... if that were all it would have been plenty. But, what's more, he took care of a blocked kitchen/laundry drain that had been escalating in complexity and massively increasing in cost with every new service tech that arrived to diagnose and remedy the problem ... none of which they were able to do. Seems, simple knowledge and professionalism wins out every time. Moises discovered a cleanout that simplified the job exponentially ... that none of the other five visits from techs from other companies even bothered to look for. It was in plain sight, you just needed to know where to look ... Moises did! Which brings me to the company. From the very first interaction with Tina they were accommodating, positive (Tina is a bundle of energy), reassuring and immensely easy to deal with, right down to their scheduling which really works and really works around your schedule.In short, if you have a plumbing problem, ANY plumbing problem, call Barker and Sons. We had been notified by our water provider that we probably had a leak based on our water usage. Despite our searching we couldn't find one so we realized we needed a professional. Barker and Sons got such great reviews on multiple sites that I thought I would try them. They were able to have someone come out that afternoon. Another referral took over a day to respond, and then they couldn't come out for 4 days!The initial assessment was unyielding in identifying the issue and required two additional visits. We were impressed because of how quickly they were able to come out, they arrived in the timeframe stated, they were genuinely friendly but not annoyingly so, their fees were commensurate with the amount of work and there was no ego involved when they couldn't identify the issue. They persevered until the problem was discovered- an easily fixed issue with our fountain. We hope not to need them anytime soon but plumbing issues are inevitable and it is reassuring to have such a reliable plumber on standby.We would highly recommend Barker and Sons!

We are beginning the process of putting a pool in our backyard and in order to get a permit from the Sanitation Department, a plethora of things need to be done (e.g. a CCTV video with narration and a corresponding sketch being one of them). I called about 10 plumbing companies and couldn’t find anyone that could do the job. Finally, I came across Barker & Sons and was so relieved when they said they can not only do it, but have done them in the past. Orlando, one of Barker and Sons plumbers, came out to my house in Orange to troubleshoot a problem with my Norwitz tankless water system. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He would not stop until he figured out the problem which required 2 calls to the company. In the end he solved the problem and the heater is working again. Awesome Plumbing Services! Found this plumbing company by searching plumber near by and this company came up and their reputation was excellent. I gave them a call as we had a water pipe leak in our Anaheim hills home and spoke with Missy who was very pleasant to deal with. She sent Bill out within an hour Bill and he performed leak detection and turned out we had slab leak. Within two days Bill had us taken care of. He was professional and very considerate of us and our home. When the job was complete, Missy from the office called to make sure we were happy. The staff was very nice but their prices were outrageous. The estimate to replace the parts in the tank of the toilet was $400 and $800 to replace a toilet.

Barker & Sons is awesome. My kitchen sink got clogged on Friday morning (see photo) and they were at my house fixing it by 2:30 the same day. No extra charge. William was friendly and knowledgeable. When he was done, he showed me what he did and he cleaned up after. I could not have been happier with the experience and the service. I would definitely recommend them and I will use them anytime I need a plumbing company.

Orlando came out to my job site today and helped me locate existing sewer drains in a home before starting a remodel project. I am a general contractor and I have worked with this company on many projects and I have always found it to be helpful and worth the investment.

The cast iron drain pipes in our old house failed. Orlando came out and provided a thorough explanation of the problem and a fair estimate. The next day he and Isaac did a great job replacing the pipes, finishing in less than a half day. This is the second time we hired Barker and Sons. We highly recommend.

They were good when giving a quote and coming to see the issue, but did not mention they had to dig up a 6 feet hole in my lawn, which we found out the day they came to do the work. Since we had no option we agreed.Thursday - Day 1 : The work was supposed to be completed. BUT one of the persons did not show hence the lawn was left dug.Friday - Day 2 : They were to arrive at 8.30 - 9 am. No one still here hours late, the call center does not know if the people will be able to make it today, but keep saying that we are on schedule for work today and that the team is assisting other customers.This is VERY unprofessional, especially with the lawn dug up already, with the grass removed left to die and a water leak going on.

Orlando and Isaac did an excellent job detecting a gas leak & replacing a underground gas pipe. They response to my call right way within couple of hours. Piotr was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was fast, efficient, kind, helpful and knowledgeable. This is the second time we have used Barker & Sons. Both times the technicians have been courteous & professional, and done great work. Joseph was our plumber the first time, Piotr Luczak our second plumber. Piotr had a much bigger task-a replacement of an external pipe to our sprinkler system, a water heater that needed to be replaced and actually had a gas leak from a fitting, and a garbage disposal installation. He was also very happy to answer questions I had regarding a retro fit water recycling unit I had purchased but never installed (we chose not to install it.) I would recommend Barker & Sons for quality plumbing repairs/work. I can’t really say where they fall price-wise, since we have relied on them only for our last few plumbing issues. Highly recommend!

I had a few clogged sinks over Thanksgiving weekend, which was my first time experiencing a serious plumbing issue. I researched several plumbing companies in my area (reviews and prices if available). I called a few numbers first thing Monday morning. Barker & Sons picked up right away, provided a quote over the phone, and was sent two plumbers within an hour (Joey and Kevin). The plumbers were very friendly, experienced, clean and didn't seem to mind all my questions. They were very patient and explained everything thoroughly. Due to the severity of the issue, I was offered additional services (hydrojetting), which I considered very reasonable and appropriate. I had Barker and Sons Plumbing re-line my main sewer line. Sean and Bryce did an unbelievably great job from start to finish. Everything they did was done to perfection, all the way to the cement patch to finish the job. They showed up on time. They cleaned up everything each day and left it better than they found it. They are now my go-to for any plumbing I need in the future. It’s rare to find people like this with such a strong work ethic. If you need anything done with your plumbing, call them first.

Richard was quite courteous and professional. Right way he new the problem with the soap dispenser pump. He added water to the soap solution and the pump started working. We are now pleased with our soap dispensers and will dilute to soap solution with water, from now on.Perhaps the instruction sheet would have pointed this anomaly out. We had the angle valve snap off under our kitchen sink. We called at what I would have considered “after business” hours and they picked up the phone. The gentleman on the phone got us on the schedule right away for the next day. Rich arrived the morning and was super courteous and helpful. He checked to see if we had any issues in the home even taking 15 minutes to research our very old water softener system to make sure it was working optimally. The values were replaced promptly and we are back and running within 18 hours. Rich was awesome and I would highly recommend him and the rest of the team!

Dylan and Cody did a wonderful job to replace our insinkertaor, gave prompt advice on the cost and they have the stock right away in their truck, super efficient team.I give them 5 stars rating, even though the loose faucet handle couldn’t be fully tightened on the spot, but they gave us direction on how to contact the manufacturer for the right size of tool for the job. We appreciate their attempt to help fixing.

We had an emergency situation with drains backing up from a clogged sewer pipe. I called Barker & Sons and spoke to Tiffany who took my information in a very understanding and professional manner. The plumber arrived within a reasonable time, his name was Jeff, he was very professional and took his time to make sure he mapped out the plumbing system. In a short time he got through the clod and had the water running and draining. This truly was the best experience I have ever had. The next day (Sunday) Derek came out and ran a camera through the whole sewer system and gave it a clean bill of health. Both service guys were truly the best I have used and the price was reasonable. Highly recommended Barker & Sons..

Our water was taking a long time to get hot, so we called and had a same day appointment. The individual was professional, knowledgeable, helpful, and solved our problem quickly. By happenstance, he also discovered we had a gas leak outside - so, we were extremely grateful for that! Would definitely use this company again.

Derek came to the house and completed an Inspection of my house line feeds which connected to my septic system. Derek was very helpful and did not mind the multitude of questions I had. He was nice and completely walked me through the inspection of the pipes while giving me feed back. He also gave me a copy of the video from the pipe inspection. He also gave options to fix the issues, without being pushy about any of it. Very knowledgeable! Will definitely be calling Barker and Sons for my future plumbing issues!

Jesse and Dylan came out to fix my water heater. Both were extremely professional, patient, and honest. I had to wait for over two hours to get approval from the insurance company. They waited patiently for hours, were very calm and helpful. I would recommend them and the company a million times over!

My husband and I have used Barker and Sons Plumbing, in the past, and have always been so pleased with the service. This time was no different. We needed water valves in the garage replaced. Unfortunately, it required some drywall removal to do the job but our technician, Peter, knew exactly what he was doing. He took time to explain the process- completed the job quickly and efficiently and left my laundry area cleaner than he found it! ( BTW… I think he could be a drywall guy too!) Great job!

Rich Gutierrez was thorough in his diagnostics and delivered excellent service. He was honest in his feedback and very knowledgeable in what he does. I also think he is personable and very patient with my questions considering that I don’t have the technical know-how of gas pipes and stuff. I definitely recommend him! The person I spoke to to schedule the service has also good customer service and the ability to lessen your stress regarding this gas leak problem. Unfortunately, I am unable to recall his name. This was also same-day service despite that it was a weekend- Sunday, yesterday to be exact.

Their technician, Matt, was courteous, practical, knowledgeable and gave us good advice with a variety of options. He walked us through the order process, and made sure we got the product we were looking for. He also gave us some ideas and answered questions about some other improvements we had in mind. Woke up this morning and my water heater was leaking after 17 years. I called Barker and Sons Plumbing my go to plumbers and the company who installed it. I was interested in a tankless water heater and wanted to weigh the pros and cons. The plumber Mike was friendly informative and generous with his knowledge and time. Fast response as always and great install of my new tankless. Everyone was super helpful and went above and beyond in making the install look professional including the venting and gas line. I also added a water filtration and water softening system. Great experience as always. Thank you.

We have used them before and they are professional, timely and priced fairly. Tina was reassuring when I spoke to her and Zach explained what was happening through the entire process. Luke came out and ran a camera down the line to verify the prognosis. I am very pleased with the service and the repair.

Barker and Sons came up first when I googled (most likely they pay a lot to be the top of google search). They are very expensive and charged 3-4 times more than other plumber. I had a lot of stress. Technician even removed the control valve that was not necessary, but he came and put it back the day after. I did not enjoy working with Barker and Sons. The people who answered my phone calls, were nice and friendly.I contacted Rick Happy Plumber (highly recommended) and they fixed the gas issue and did re piping; stress free, Quality and professional job and charged 1/3 of the Barker and Sons price.

WOW! Very happy and impressed with this company and with our technician, Jesse Rodriguez. Was available and came out immediately the day before Christmas eve, did the work VERY quickly and at almost half the originally quoted price, was friendly and knowledgeable and honest, and we are very very happy with the service and the work. Would highly recommend this company and Jesse. Jesse himself was very knowledgable, energetic, had 15 years of experience, and yet was young, strong, and reliable. A couple bonuses we were impressed and happy with overall: the company has GPS tracking for all their guys, their work is guaranteed for a year, they accept credit cards, and they take and send you photos of the work with the invoice/receipt via email (which was really helpful since my husband wasn’t home at the time - I was communicating via texts etc - and this enabled me to show him what was done. Five stars all the way!!!

I wanted my faucet repaired. Instead they wanted to install a new setup. $1000+. Seems any work you need done is $1000+. Still looking.Plumber showed up yesterday. They said they want me happy. So they are responsive.I am happy. Don is a great guy. My wife is happy too. Happy Wife, happy life.Again, very responsive and professional. Will use this contractor for all my plumbing needs.

Wouldn’t tell you the price over the phone, which I now see why. Pricey, pricey pricey just to snake the drain… on a positive note they were available day of and arrived quickly.

We recently had Matt Evans at our house because our bathtub wouldn’t drain. He was punctual, respectful and upfront and honest about what needed to be done, without trying to push extra things on us. He took care of a decent size project on his own and successfully finished it in the estimated time he gave us. The only thing we didn’t like about the company was that when you call to schedule you have to pay a fee for them to come out and they won’t give you a price for specific jobs until they are at your home.

I HIGHLY recommend this company! I woke up this morning to a leaky water heater and started calling around to different places. I had to have it replaced same day cause it was leaking into my walls. I read the other reviews and after talking with the receptionist decided to go with this company. And I’m SO glad I did! The receptionist was kind, professional and personable. And the technician, Dylan, was exactly the same. Dylan was amazing because my home ended up having a lot of other complications from the water line and even the main water line being broken. He even had to call the police department to get the water meter shut off (my main water line shut off valve was broken) because it was on Sunday and my city directed him to the police department for after hours service. Dylan even had to call the owner who answered right away for him to discuss having to go through the police department. It says a lot about a company for the owner to be willing to pick up right away for his technicians. For whatever reason things always seem to need to break during the weekend and after hours, but I’m so GRATEFUL for Dylan who remained professional the entire time and walked me through all my options and pricing. This could have been a disaster had it not been for his expertise. And the cost was incredibly reasonable and more than fair. I never want things to break but when they do I want to have the comfort of having a company that has my back and I felt this company had my back from the very beginning talking with the receptionist, to the owner taking care of his technicians,which ultimately takes care of the customer, and especially to Dylan who took care of all the issues that came up and left my home clean and everything back to functioning and operating the way it should be. I will definitely be using this company again in the future!!

Basically my place was about to get blown up, due to badly corroded leaky gas pipes and I hit up Barker & Sons to repair my situation. Technician Robert, William, and Albert examined and repaired the leak so my family can finally enjoy the hot shower. Really professional and great guys. My house set up is a difficult small house and these guys effectively navigated and found the issues well. Definitely if something in my house is leaky or about to blow up again, I'll call these guys to repair since they can fix everything like a champ.

I found my experience with Barker and Sons Plumbing and Rooter pleasant and professional. The entire work from the arriving time until the drain, clogged with dirt and Palm tree roots, was unclogged took about two hours. Barker and Sons Plumbing was the third and last plumber working on my yard drain issue.Ms. Missy was very pleasant, cordial, and understanding when she took my call and worked with me to make a reasonable appointment date and time which would accommodate my schedule as well. The company's plumber Alex showed up on time and he clearly explained the steps he would need to take to unclog my backyard's drain and what it would cost. Alex with approval of his manager offered me a $50 discount coupon to reduce my cost for being the first time customer. Alex had the proper equipment and the experience to hydro jet the entire drain line covering the backyard and the two sides of my house. My neighbor whom was experiencing similar issue with her house's drain line was so impressed with Alex's experience and the good and clean quality of work that she immediately called his office to schedule him to return to clear her house's drain line as well.I was also impressed by the fact that I received a follow up phone call from Missy to make sure I was happy with the plumbing work done. This pleasant and satisfactory experience has made Barker and Sons Plumbing and Rooter the first choice plumber in my Contact phone book for my future plumbing work.

Jesse and Gabe rock! The city came out to our house twice in one day because our water usage had spiked for two straight days. They felt we had a leak in our water main. So...called Barker and Sons at 6 pm one night and they were out the very next morning at 7:30 a.m. Before they came we received not only a phone call saying they were on their way but also a text message with a picture of each of them included. After carefully and methodically going through their process it was determined that the leak was not in our main line but in our landscape irrigation system. Once we figured that part out we decided to fix the leak ourselves and put them to work on two more important issues. First they did a main service valve replacement with copper parts and pieces. Then had them upgrade our master shower valve. Jesse has 17 years experience and was training Gabe who was a good student and hard worker. We are very pleased with their finished work and will not hesitate to call Barker and Sons if we encounter another plumbing issue.

I contacted Barker & Sons to get a 2nd opinion on a Sat afternoon, (Thinking they wouldn’t be able to come out until a weekday)They asked if I had hot water…which I did not. Within a short period of time, I received a message that they were sending someone over. Daniel showed up and was awesome. He listened to my concerns, addressed them all and installed a new water heater all in the same day. Wish I had called them first!

Carlos P came over to our house when we were experiencing and issue with our drain in our kitchen not working and impacting both our sink and our dishwasher - Carlos was knowledgeable, kind and efficient. We ended up using the hydro jet to clean our the pipes and it was disgusting (and also cool) how much gunk, grease and grime came out of the pipe. Drains are now working well, and all of this was confirmed by cameras following the cleaning. Thankful to Barker and Sons and especially Carlos.

Update: Baker and Sons can do the work and diagnose in event of emergency. However, their price will be 5x higher than other reputable plumbers. If not in an emergency, I would recommend getting a few quotes. This team of plumbers is highly trained in sales and will reccommend things that are in their best interest.It was a pleasure having Orlando diagnose and fix a slab leak that was result from a bad irrigation line.He was very professional and very skilled in his craft. Highly recommended!

Nate Murphy came on and quickly diagnosed the leaking tub. He was very professional, clean, and courteous. We have a dog and both my wife work. Nate came in and was able to work around everything. James replaced the flappers? on the toilets, installed a pressure valve for the waterline coming into the house and fixed the tankless water heater.The next time out James and Scott replaced the faucets in the shower and the bathroom sink. Had a leak from main kitchen drain that was leaking into the kitchen floor, had a few plumbers come out to get an idea of what the cause was but Carlos was the only one that seemed to actually take a good look and diagnose the situation. Fixed my issue quickly and at a much more affordable price than other quotes. Very polite and professional!! Then he had Cody come out to camera the rest of the drain to make sure it was all kosher. We found out the rest of the pipe was in poor condition and they were able to take a look at all the plumbing and give me a good idea of what is going on and gave me options of what we could do moving forward. Both were great to deal with and will most likely go through and get a lot more piping fixed through this company.

I can’t say enough about Barker and Sons Plumbing. We knew we had a tricky leak and needed an outfit that could handle the problem. Their technicians Luke, Giovanni and Gabe were top notch. They took their time to make sure they located the area of the problem. They explained everything as they went about the job and they were careful to keep everything clean. I have white cabinets and was worried about them, but I needn’t have, they kept everything super clean. This is a great outfit and would recommend them to anyone. Had a water heater go out on me this morning. Called Barker and Sons because they previously installed a water heater approximately 5 1/2 years ago. Jay and Richard are a great team and I was glad to have them working on my project. I had picked Barker and Sons because they were close to my commericial building and I needed some major repairs. They had good reviews also so it made the choice easier.I honestly did not know it the job I was asking them to do which was install a 3 diameter back flow device to the water system at the building was in their normal scope of work. But they delivered service beyond my expectations and continued to work through a few other issues that I had at the building. There is other plumbing work at the facility in the future and I will definitely go back the this company for the work. Highly recommended!

We had a massive water heater failure today and needed immediate service. We called and they were able to come out within 30 minutes. Orlando our professional called and was right on time. Above expectations! This was a major sewer line repair/replacement. Orlando and his crew worked in brutal heat 10-12 hours a day for 3+ days excavating and replying two sewer lines then on the 4th day relining the remaining sewer lines. Alway courteous and consciences of the home and occupants. Cleaned up daily and completed the job in a timely manner. Good plumbers are hard to find and not cheap! Called Barker & Sons for a garbage disposal repair. Called around 4:30pm, got a next day appointment. Peter came, gave me options. He got the disposal working right away but showed me that an ongoing problem was due to the spinners not working. Decided to go with a new disposal. He handled all of it there, cleaned everything up & put everything back where it was. Excellent customer service from Peter—he knows his stuff!

Made an appointment. They arrived earlier than scheduled(i like that). Presented the different options and prices to replace my water heater. From the time I decided what i wanted, paid via iPad. They went into action, and within 2 hours i had a brand new water heater professionally installed. Dylan than went over what he did and replaced, pointed out their 24-hour number if i have any problems.I am very happy, and will recommend them if someone asks.

Customer Service is usually good, but they told us they would call us back with availability and never did. They ended up sending a technician out without telling us beforehand. However, the technicians they sent were very knowledgeable and not too pushy. They did a free diagnosis for us and showed the video feed. The pricing they quoted us was much higher than what we got from other places so we ended up going with someone else but they do know what they're talking about and understood why we did not end up going with them.

When Mike arrived he quickly identified the problem, gave me a very reasonable quote, and went to work. I called the company which I found on google, they were here within a couple hours, they were diligent in their work, they covered their shoes upon coming into the house and help us keep things clean, which I appreciated, onto of completing the repairs I needed. One of best service experiences I have ever had. From beginning to end they were responsive and professional. Jeff the service man, was excellent in explaining our situation and what was needed to be done WITHOUT PUTTING ANY PRESSURE ON ME. Even encouraged us to go back to original installer if we wanted since it would be under some warranty. Wow, he wanted best for us even if it meant losing the service. I chose Jeff and he fixed everything to working order and cleaned up as well. I would not hesitate using them again or recommending them to anyone needed plumbing help.

The hot water was not working in a house we just moved into. Jeff Amend was the technician, and he was able to get the hot water running within the hour. It was a simple fix, pulling down the vent over the tank, but we didn't want to mess with it since it had a fire hazard sticker on it. He came out very timely, was professional and didn't charge for it. We will need to replace the water heater within a couple years and will definitely be calling them!

Great service! First, I appreciated the text notifications announcing the arrival status and identities of the technicians. Excellent communication from both the company and the tech they sent (Ryan). He went over the estimate first after assessing what needed to be done, and then did a great job. Definitely the kind of company you remember to call again if you ever needed to, top notch work for a reasonable price.

Their service is excellent. Dylan is great. We had our water heater replaced and drains hydrojeted. They were through and clean. The company called back a few days after the service to make sure everything was good. A little on the expensive side but when you get great service, it is worth it. We even got a thank you card a few weeks after the service from Dylan, letting us know if we need him he is happy to help.

Best plumbing co in Orange County. I had a major leak at a faraway property. Missy took my initial call and was nothing but polite and courteous. Jesse was there within 30 minutes and on the phone with me throughout the day to answer any questions I may have had. They were upfront about costs, no hidden fees, and the actual repair bill came in lower than what Jesse estimated. I could not recommend a better plumbing company than Barker and Sons

Mario did an excellent job with repairing my clogged toilet. I was worried I was going to have to wait until Monday or take time off from work to find someone available to come to my house but Barker&Son answered right away and sent someone within 2 hours. Mario arrived on time and knew exactly what to do, fixes the toilet quickly and leaving no mess. Couldn’t have asked for anything better. Money well spent for peace of mind.

In the process of selling my home, an inspection revealed that my water heater needed its vent pipe adjusted so as not to contact any portion of the roof. Additionally, I needed an additional vent placed on the door the the encasement holding the water heater, which is joined to but technically outside of the house.I didn't know where to find a professional to take care of these items until a Google search highlighted comments from previous customers of Barker and Sons Plumbing & Rooter. That comment referenced help with an existing water heater. I'm so thankful for that review, because I sent an online message to Barker and Sons to inquire if they could help. I received a call within half an hour. Later that day a technician came to my house to inspect and explain what work needed to be done. 24 hours later, the job was completed.The technician Kevin was courteous, profession, and very knowledgeable. Every I spoke to at the company was helpful and insightful, listening to my needs and making every effort to work with me.I cannot recommend this company enough. Their communication, responsibility, and professionalism is off the charts.

Christian and Derek did an excellent job of diagnosis and repair of a clogged mainline. I thought it was just a simple toilet clog but it turned out to be much more. I couldn’t be happier with their work and professionalism. I will definitely use them again.

We installed a water heater last year and had our 1 yr service check today. Everyone I have interacted with has been polite, responsive, and friendly. The people who came to my residence both times wore booties over their shoes and went above and beyond what was originally requested (they agreed to inspect my stinky kitchen sink in addition to the water heater flush and gave me a quick solution). I've had a great experience with Barker and Sons.

We called Barker and Sons for sewage coming up out of our shower drains and toilets. Orlando came out and was very honest and reasonable. He showed us pictures of everything that was going on and was very patient with all of our questions. Thanks Orlando!

Orlando was awesome!!! Super friendly, on time, knowledgeable, and super helpful! His partner, Corey, was super friendly and did a great job too! Derrick did an awesome job de-scaling those pipes and made the inside of the pipes look brand new! The customer service for appointment scheduling took good care of me as well! Barker and Sons will definitely be my new go-to plumber!
