After our third slab leak in a year, I decided to repipe the whole house with PEX. I got several estimates, AMERI_CAL was the most reasonable one and included drywall repair as part of their package, this was definitely a positive feature. I am extremely satisfied with the repipe work performed by Ricardo (the foreman) which was completed in one day as promised and the drywall repair performed by Jorge and his team who completed the job also in one day and left the premises very clean. Michelle Flores in the office was extremely helpful in communicating and scheduling the different phases of the project while trying to alleviate my anxieties about this project, she was a true sweetheart. I definitely recommend this company for their great work and I will use them for all my plumbing needs in the future.

Exceeded my expectations. They came in low on price which had me a bit concerned however they did a fantastic job. They pulled the permit right away and were flexible in when I was able to have them start. First crew did the Repipe on my single story 2 bath in about 6 hours. Next day they did a virtual inspection with the city and 3rd day the second crew came in and patched the walls and textured them to the point of ready to paint. I could tell these guys knew what they were doing. They minimized holes in the wall and didn’t cut corners on the install. They were efficient and didn’t screw around. Both crews prepped the house with floor coverings and hung plastic barriers to protect the areas before starting the work and they did a good job of cleaning up. I was surprised that I didn’t have any dust after the work. I would absolutely recommend this company based on my experience. It’s refreshing to deal with a plumbing company that is NOT out to screw you over.

The basic installation when okay, with several major issues. First, they promised that when they patched the walls on the inside of the house that the walls would be paint ready; but the walls were most definitely NOT paint ready. When we asked them about it they said what they meant was that the patches would be ready to be sanded, NOT ready to be painted. They should have been honest from the beginning by telling us that the patches would not be paint ready.

Also, Ameri-Cal moved the hot and cold water lines for the washing machine, placing the hose bibs directly above the electrical outlet for the washer and drier. It is inevitable that the water lines will some day leak and when they do they will leak directly onto the electrical outlet. Ameri-Cal refused to move the outlet or the water lines.

There were a couple of other issues as well.

On the plus side, they did complete the work in a timely manner and did a great job of containing and then cleaning up the considerable dust created by breaking innumerable holes in our walls and ceiling.

Ameri-Cal did a repipe on my 1995 Kaufman and Broad home. K&B homes in my area are notorious for slab leaks. While there were a couple problems on the initial repipe, Toby and Alfonso responded and corrected these problems and made sure I was satisfied. There is a lot of integrity in owning up to and correcting problems when they occur and making & keeping customers happy. Kudos.

Again, Americal Repipe and Plumbing in Buena Park (Knott Avenue) shines through. This time, a sprinkler pipe connection. Alberto Vasquez was on time, pleasant and was wearing a mask and gloves, even in the California heat. He made sure my leak was fixed and made sure I'm happy. AMERI-CAL is my go-to plumber. You should train your field staff in some manners. Don't catch these guys on the streets.

One of the best experiences that I have had with any plumbing company. They Repipes my entire home and with paint and patch up in 2 and 1/2 days.
They are a big team and they work as a unit. They know what walls to open to minimize the drywall repairs. They quickly repaired and painted their work. I called them one or two times for minor cosmetic issues and they came right away to repair and took responsibility. Very professional.
They promised the time, they exactly did what they said, they planned so we still have water and we were not getting disturbed by the scope of the project. Honest, professional, responsible and great value.

Also, the responsiveness as far as all my questions and concerns was exceptional. Ameri-Cal is the best repipe company out there. I called on 4 different companies and listened to sales people that told me how complicated my house was going to be, or how long it take, only to try to charge me almost twice as much as Ameri-Cal.

The sales person on the phone gave me a general quote over the phone and then confirmed the price once I met with him. I then was able to get it schedule that week and have the work completed in 3 days. It took them one day to repipe, one day off for inspection, and one day to patch the cut walls. NO SURPISE costs.

They have done a couple referrals and both people were very delighted on their professionalism and great price.

So, these guys are amazing. This is gonna be kind of long so here's the short vereion. Fast quote, quality work and amazing speed. Their team arrived day 1 of a full repipe job including the main and the water was back on for the whole house by 6pm. This blew my mind.

Up here in Lake Arrowhead, plumbers and tradesman in general were so backed up with work we were getting quotes to start 3 weeks out after a major leak into the foundation of our 1960s three story craftsman necessitated a full repipe of all the original galvanized piping.

A day after I called, Toby drove out and laid out a plan for replacing everything with PEX (the good stuff too, Uponor with compression fittings), including digging out my original and heavily corroded main water line and replacing with a thick copper pipe. Even before the Military discount and the Yelp special they had going on, the quote for this came in very competitive.

A few days after the original survey, Alfonso and his
team roll in and somehow have the entire houses plumbing completely replaced with fully insulated PEX by 6pm. Even the main line was somehow replaced day 1, with the digging 30' down through my concrete driveway and everything. It was amazing to see. They even added a few extra outdoor hose bibs and a area for a future kitchenette and fridge ice maker line etc which were last minute add-ons. 10/10. Did I mention they insulated damn near every inch of that piping with half inch insulation?
I am not worried about pipes bursting at all now.
Other then the holes in the drywall and the cut out driveway sections.. by the end of the day you couldn't even tell they had been there in other sections due to how well they had plasticed everything off.

After the work passed inspection by the county, the repair guys did a phenomenal job repairing the drywall in all 3 floors and matching the various texture well. They left it primed and super easy for us to paint, at our request (good excuse to change colors).

The driveway took a bit longer to get finished due to inspector availability (I did mention how busy up here everyone seems to be), but once it passed they did a great job redoing the drive and it's been solid for weeks now through even the first freezing temps of the season.

We went from only being able to use one shower at s time to being able to run every single faucet and shower simultaneously without pressure drop. If you're thinking of a repipe or need it like we did.. call these guys they are fantastic!

They repiped my home 4 years ago and did an amazing job. I highly recommend this company.

Warning for anyone having their home repiped by Americal plumbing. We recently had our condo repiped. We left during the days of the repipe and came home before they painted to see progress and came home to a dusty mess. Americal Plumbing did not cover any of our furniture or appliances while they worked. They left debri on the floors and shelving, marks on the floors and dust on the walls and all over anything exposed. They refuse to cooperate in helping to get my house cleaned. I have 2 kids with Asthma so this was infuriating!

Aren’t they supposed to cover the work area and clean up after they finish?

Did anyone else have a bad experience?

I have contacted Americal Plumbing, Ross Construction and the HOA and Im still waiting for over two weeks to get help to at least clean my carpets snd upholstery. I’ve already deep cleaned the rest myself.
