I have had BWR out to my home a couple different times for my air conditioner for different problems. They are always kind and ready to fix the problem. They don’t try and sell me parts/services I don’t need, but so make suggestions to help me extend the life of my unit. I appreciate their honesty and will call them again if I have a other issue.

This by far is the most professional and honest AC/Heating company on the planet. From the time we made an appointment to the time spent at our home their communication was on point. Both of their technicians were not only friendly but went above and beyond to make sure that our entire unit was in pristine working condition when they left. We highly recommend this company. If we could give them 10 stars we would.
The service man that came was nice and professional. He explained what was needed and how much it would be. He also explained why it had happened. Great service will call again if needed.

Update - April 2019
I decided to give these guys another shot for an AC tune up. The experience this time around was a complete 180.
Brian once again answered all my questions, explained what he was doing and why.
More importantly for me, all of my prior gripes have been fixed.
I didn't have to leave a review before I got my report.
Everything got emailed to me right away and was accurate from the get go.
I'm glad that BWR takes their customer feedback seriously and actually makes changes. This gives me much more confidence in using Brian and his team in the future.
When it comes time for my system replacement, BWR will be on my short list.

Update - December 2018
I got a call from Kara the office manager at BWR. She apologized for everything and how it all went down, but more importantly added some clarification.
The messages that get sent out in the reports are pre-canned. The tech on site did not type them in himself and there was no malicious intent with inaccurate messages.
Kara said she will be working on the new system to not require reviews up front and for better training.
I am satisfied with the results of the call as these changes should help other customers down the line.
I'm also updating my review from 2 star --> 3 star based off my conversation with Kara.

I really wanted to like and support the little guy. BWR seemed like a good small, local company. Values that I always try to support!
First issue I had, their customer management system requires you to rate them *before* you get invoices, service information or quotes emailed to you. I can understand that, but in practice it just doesn't work.
Brian took my phone, rated 5 stars on my behalf and deleted the original review text so we could get an email of the service visit to review. That didn't sit well with me at all. Don't delete stuff on my phone.
The review/invoice/service visit system needs be fixed such that invoices and such are sent out *without* forcing a review.
Now onto the actual visit.
It was fast, extremely fast. As in, he seemed like he was running late for another appointment fast.
I've actually gotten 3 winter tune ups done to compare services between companies for when I do my system change out. (Cheap way to review workmanship before dropping thousands)
Brian did inform me that there were two sensors on their last legs, the other two companies didn't catch this. BWR didn't do a CO duct test like the other two companies did, but maybe this isn't standard practice with BWR?
The end of the visit Brian read through all the checks and services performed on the visit and two things stood out to me.
1) The report stated that the drain safety switch was working
2) The report also stated that the drain pan was clean
Regarding 1) this is an older installation that actually does *not* have a drain safety switch. The other two companies highly recommended that I add this to prevent water damage. I will be doing so.
Regarding 2) this might be a difference of interpretation between the coil drain pan and the overall furnace drain pan, so I won't read too much into this. However the furnace does *not* have a drain pan under it, this was pointed out by the other two companies along with the drain safety switch deficiency. But the report said the drain pan was good and checked out, hmmmm.
I did ask about the two bad sensors and Brian quickly walked me through what they do and what jobs they have in the furnace so that was good.
Overall, probably won't be doing more business with BWR.
I don't intend to sound like a Negative Nancy (sorry Nancy), I just wanted to provide an honest, constructive review of how I felt the service visit went.

Honestly, the gentleman.. and I use that term loosely... was not interested in fixing our ac unit . He was only interested in trying to sell us a 22k new system. And when we stated we would need time to think about this and get a second opinion, he turned from a nice gentleman into a complete jerk. I really feel all they wanted to do was to upsell us on an expensive new system for our 8 year old house...ridiculous..run as fast as you can from this company!
And as you can see from the response, what kind of people they are! Avoid these this company at all costs!

I appreciate Rodney and Brian coming over to help diagnose and repair my cooling issue. Rodney was new to the company, but brought with him ov 15 years of experience. I appreciate Brian (owner) for still coming out on calls and working alongside his employees to get the job done right. The best thing about BWR is that they are honest with their customers. It would’ve been easy to say, my forced air unit is dead and I need a entirely new unit. Would’ve probably been a lot easier to install a new unit as well. But the professionalism and expertise that BWR technicians possess is worth more to them then whatever makes the job easier for them. Rodney did an awesome job diagnosing the problem and knew right away the steps necessary to complete the repair. Brain was straightforward with me and laid out all the options that I had. Thank you BWR! Although it means that somethings broken when we meet, it’s always a pleasure having you guys over and doing business with you.

BWR is the best most professional Heating and air company I have ever used! They cover everything in plastic, and put tarps, replaced all the registers on the house and swept and vacuumed twice the first day! Brian and his crew, Jon, Thomas and Robert are so personal and work hard to get the job done. Having COPD they were very careful to keep the dust to a minimum! And they’re local! Very happy with the service I was given. Brian and his team did an excellent job. The goal was never about selling me the most expensive unit but instead to get my house comfortable and balanced.
My main issue was my AC unit wasn't putting out cold enough air and wasn't being pumped to the hot upstairs. Brian's solution was to increase the duct size going upstairs and put dampers on the downstairs vents in order to force air to flow up. IT WORKED! I have amazing air flow and am expecting a much smaller electric bill this year!

BWR saved us thousands of dollars compared to 3 other companies recommendations. Brandon is extremely knowledgeable in his area of expertise. The other companies claim they know what their doing, but they clearly don't even have the knowledgeable or the right equipment and diagnostic gauges. The other companies just say to replace it all. Brandon and BWR diagnose the true issues and only fix what's needed. I have 50% more airflow, less energy being used and extended most of my equipment life by many years for thousands less. Brian responded first to our call about our upstairs heater having problems. Brian was very nice and was able to keep our heating running until the parts came in that needed replacing. He also gave us recommendations to prevent it from happening again in the future. Dane responded on the day the parts were to be replaced and he too was very nice. After the repairs he did a walkthrough with me and gave me a few more suggestions for heating our house more efficiently with the unit we currently have. All around the service and response time was fantastic and I will definitely use BWR again in the future.

Dane & Christian arrived in less than an hour of placing a call for an air conditioner not working. They worked for hours diagnosing the problem. At first it appeared the compressor had frozen but they checked a few more things and fixed the problem for much less than a new compressor costs. Preston did a fantastic job educating me on my air and heating system. He not only explained how my system works, he also took pictures of it in the roof of my house and showed them to me and explained what was needed and why. We are a little late in the review of our excellent service we received from Brian and his staff in September. From the office to our home it was a very wise investment on our part. Brian came and took time to answer our questions, as, we were told what he suggested could not be done by previous salesman! Review update- 3 weeks after the technician came out we hear this whistling sound coming from outside. We go out to find the A/C spewing ALL of it’s refrigerant into the air. How did Tony not catch this?
RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I would give this company a negative 5 stars if possible. We entered into a contract with Brian Weaver of BWR Heating and Cooling almost 2 years ago. They were contracted to replace ALL ducting and remove any ASBESTOS in our home and install an air-conditioning unit. It was not until we started a kitchen remodel several weeks ago did we find out that Brian, known as BWR, never fulfilled his contract and he NEVER removed the Asbestos or replaced the ducts in our home. We have now been living with asbestos blowing in our house for the past almost two years. When I asked Brian what went wrong, he said contact my lawyer. Is this the type of company you want working at your home??

This is the second time I requested a service with Air Flow. Both Technicians were very professional and hard worker. David showed to be a honest person explain me step by step what was wrong with my A/C unit. I was glad to contact Air Flow, and I will do it again. Totally recommend it.

Staff at BWR we’re so professional . They came out to service our ac unit and it’s working great. They also gave us a military discount !!! They always do everything they say they are gonna do!!
I had called BWR Heating & Cooling for tune up on my two AC systems. As the summer going to come in a few months, I don’t want to be the people on the waiting list for a week till I can get service. Brian had fix one of my AC system two years ago. He was back today checking both of the systems. He took detail pictures for the company file and I am going to get a copy too for reference on next service when needed. I get text service reminder a day before and when the technician is on route, I get a text to inform me. Brain is friendly and really professional. I received a detailed invoice within a few minutes.
BWR installed our QuietCool whole house fan and we love it! The customer service was nothing but professional and friendly. Thank you for being there for me and my family.

Omar & Adrian were FANTASTIC!! We had another of the big firms in the valley, who advertise a lot in Palm Springs, and they failed to respond to the specific request and my amateur diagnosis I had done by searching the web. They charged $400 to do, basically, NOTHING!
Omar understood exactly what I was explaining, went directly to the wiring problem and rewired the NEST thermostat and the termination point on our package unit. Only charged the $99 service call since is was a straight-forward fix!! And, they were very friendly and courteous!!
BWR is now our new go-to for all HVAC problems (we have one large package unit and 2 split units). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Brian recognized the problem immediately. Unfortunately had to pick up a new motor but got the AC temporarily back on that night. On the return trip, he cleaned and repaired the unit and found a bad capacitor after checking the condenser outside. I highly recommend BWR for the quality of the work and the professionalism of the company.
