This company is a joke. I have a new home, and the AC did not distribute evenly. Took them 3 visits over a few months to figure out they didn't install dampers. They also did not install furnace venting correctly, and couldn't figure out why there were issues until multiple visits. Then it takes them over a week to order the main circuit board for their own product. REALLY? So while waiting for the board to arrive, the AC goes out. I quickly find out they do not have emergency service. Tried calling them, since my home is still under builders warranty, and they close at 5pm...although their website says they will only handle emergencies (that they determine whether or not its an emergency). Even when it's 99 degrees outside and my AC dies, they won't send someone over until the morning. Unacceptable for any HVAC company not to have 24 hour service. I do not recommend.
ADDED COMMENTS (post-reply):
The thermostat is one that is through a vendor recommended by the builder. I am far from the only owner who is using a Vivent product. The expectation is that it should work. The issues at play however were irrelevant to the controls--it was specific to construction (dampers, venting directions, furnace issues)--NOT the thermostat. Most specifically, I will not do business with 20/20 because it is M-F and closes at 5pm. This is absolutely unacceptable for any reputable HVAC company. With the weather in the desert, it is critical that companies I do business with is 24/7. Of course, on your website you say that YOU determine what is an emergency--when it was 100 one day and my AC went out, and 20/20 did not see that as an emergency, it's time to go somewhere else now that my warrantee has expired. Furthermore, all of my issues and complaints about 20/20 have been reported, as instructed, to Beazer Homes customer service that I would expect to be reported to 20/20 management, since I am not supposed to work or talk to you directly according to the warrantee explanation. The fact that the initial construction was poor (so much so that 20/20 had to one day come in and change direction of two of the vent pipes out of the furnace--something that should have been done right from day one), tells me that there are more issues than can be solved by calling a manager. People have been nice and recognized my frustration, but obviously that didn't go far enough.
