I hired Matt to do hardscape around pool 3 yrs ago. He did a decent job. Took longer than expected but ok job. In the weeks after,, I saw some cracking in travertine and a part broke off, that needed repair. When we called no-one got back to us. We decided to deal with it. Then fast-forward to three years later we decide to call them to get a quote for our front yard...all new landscape. Matt comes out and is agreeable and seemingly professional, even agrees to also fix the travertine left broken from his original job. Apologizing about it. Says he will send the bid for new front yard project and set up date next week to fix old travertine problem. He never sent bid or fixed anything. We texted him and he said he will be out in a couple days, but of course never came. We tried getting in touch again but no luck. Wasted my time! This company is totally unprofessional and can't be counted on. I would not ever use them again. I did end up using another company that did a great job (and also had to hire them to fix Venetian's orig problem).

We unfortunately had to take this business to small claims court. We rightfully won our case against Matt stealing our deposit for work never started/completed. Very sad and such a headache. Matt is such a phony, he became childish and extremely rude. We honestly just feel sorry for his wife and family after dealing with him.

Beware! What others say is entirely true, they sell you and will meet with you a couple times and then fall off the face of the earth. We’ve paid them to provide construction plans and an estimate (something most pool companies don’t charge for) and it’s been over a month since we’ve heard from them. We have tried multiple times to get our money back to no success. Just go with someone else, don’t make our mistake.

We really liked working with them originally. Rich was communicative and quick to get us an estimate and mock-up. Everything was great until we paid our deposit, which was 1/3 of a big backyard job, and then radio silence.

The only time they communicated was when we reached out. They kept telling us different start dates, further and further out. Finally my fiance requested to just get our money back so we could get someone who would actually do the work.

Matt Coyle then tried to keep our deposit, stating business costs that he refused to provide dated proof for or any record of. It's all pretty disheartening. Matt said he would refund us in full (see texts), but then he never sent the check. 2 weeks later, we texted to see if it was coming, and he ignored us. Then we wrote our 2nd review after 3 WEEKS of no check, and he finally then responds to us with the below text.

The entire team has been and IS a blessing to work with. Throughout the entire process from the meeting with the owner, management and workers, they are truly visionaries and do excellent work. If you are looking for a company that stands a head and shoulders above the rest, look no further. I highly recommend!!
