Scott was able to help us with a severely stuck cartridge in our shower. What should have been an easy diy turned into a problem. We called hoping that he would be able to come as the water could not be turned back on with the handle off and not in a workable condition.

Scott was great. We had a leak under our kitchen sink that needed repaired from the outside, through the stucco. After Scott fixed the leak outside, he came inside to test everything out. He found and fixed another leak inside the cabinets. He was very thorough and didn't leave until he was certain he had all issues corrected. I walked downstairs early in the morning to what sounded like a waterfall in my kitchen. A broken angle valve left me standing in a pool of water. Enter The Flying Plumber. I came across the Flying Plumber on a Facebook post and gave him a call. He was at my place within 30-45 mins and replaced both of my angle valves at a very reasonable price. All done, end of story right? Nope, Scott recognized that the water damage was worse than I had thought. He took the time to explain to us that although it looks as though we had gotten everything clean and dry, there was more going on behind the scene where we couldn’t see.

Scott referred us to a restoration cleanup company that responded within the hour. They used some fancy equipment to show us the water hiding under our cabinets and under our hard wood flooring. Just while he was explaining the insurance claim process with us, I noticed 3 planks of my wood flooring were already starting to pull up. So the insurance claim game begins. If Scott had not taken the time to explain what what really going on and just “fixed the immediate problem”, we wouldn’t have realized the extent of what happened until we noticed the wood floor curling up. Scott will be my go to plumber going forward. He’s one of those honest, old school plumbers that looks out for his customers without ripping them off like some of the big names companies. I will recommend him to anyone I know that needs a plumber. Thank you Scott!

We are in the process of selling our home and needed a repair completed. We had two other plumbers send us quotes and schedule times but neither showed up or tried to contact us. Scott provided a quote within a day of us reaching out. Then once we committed he scheduled for the next day. He showed up when he said and completed the work exactly as quoted. While doing the work he noticed a valve and spigot in the same area that needed replaced. While completing the work he took care of those too. He didn't charge any additional for that work. This is a true professional that delivers great work! We appreciate the prompt and accurate quote but we really appreciate the quality work delivered for a reasonable price!

Had a temporary emergency with the kitchen drain one evening. Freaked out enough that I began calling “big box” plumbers that offer 24-hour service. Was able to connect to a few and was quoted several hundred dollars to clean out the problematic drain. Thankfully the emergency part of the problem subsided, giving me a bit more time to figure out an alternative solution. In fact, the next morning I never received a callback I was promised from the larger plumbers I had contacted the night before. This was a bit disappointing.

With time on my side I made the conscious decision to look for small business plumbers with a solid online reputation. After searching my neighborhood’s FB group I came across The Flying Plumber. There were very nice comments about owner Scott- how he was flexible, fair in price and performed quality work. Seemed like a good fit so I gave Scott a call. As advertised, Scott was super friendly and willing to make a SAME DAY visit. He empathized with our situation, understood the importance of getting our kitchen back in service and showed a sense of urgency to make a visit that day.

After agreeing on a time, Scott texted me with an ETA when he was on his way. Gave me plenty of time to get the pups put up and clean the laundry area (we had backwash from the clogged drain coming out of the laundry room- hence the initial emergency). Once he arrived, Scott was quick to look things over, explain what he was going to do and started setting up. He used his 75-foort auger to root out the clog(s) between the laundry and sink’s plumbing. He also identified a couple of area that needed addressed underneath our sink. They were small things, but it was very thoughtful for him to recognize and offer a solution.

Scott offered tips/tricks on how to keep the drain open and uncluttered, which was a nice touch. The service took about an hour and everything was put back in its original place, leaving the work site clean. We spent a few minutes talking about a reverse osmosis (RO) line as well as a soft water system (we have the loop already built into the home) and it sounded like his options were affordable.

So to recap: small business plumber who is flexible with his schedule, able to accommodate a semi-emergency situation, showed up when he said he would, provided quality work AND changed an extremely fair rate (half of some of the larger competitors I had received quotes from the night before). If you’re in need of a regular plumber, look no further. The Flying Plumber is a top-tier business! And it feels nice to support local business!

Scott replaced my main water line from the meter to the house. I had an issue with spiking pressure, so he installed a regulator for that.. Scott is very professional and he takes pride in his work. Even underground stuff looks as clean as above ground stuff. Scott is a plumbing artist. I will definitely call him for all of my plumbing needs.

Scott came out to replace my Pelican water filter sump & head (that big blue water filter part) because it was leaking where the last plumber didn't seal the pipes correctly (and I had to rig something). He even reattached it to the wall since the previous plumber didn't anchor it correctly. Scott was on time, cleaned up after himself (I'm surprised how many workers leave a mess!), and very friendly. I highly recommend The Flying Plumber. Scott even gave me some silicon grease for the filter seals. 5 stars!!!

Great experience using The Flying Plumber to replace a bathtub drain stop and install a new toilet. I knew Scott beforehand but he was still very professional when he came in my home to do the work and he did a great job! He went above any beyond to wrestle out the old drain stop and also spent extra time making sure the closet bolts for the new toilet were perfectly straight, solid, and secure to the subfloor before installing the toilet. He made sure the job was done right the first time and I really appreciated that! Definitely recommend Scott and the Flying Plumber for all your plumbing needs!

Great and honest guy. The only one that I have found that does work better than what I would have done for myself and that is saying a lot! He has done a water softener and heater replacements for me. Prices are very fair considering the attention to detail and quality of work.

Pilot light wouldn't stay lit, water not heating properly. Came out, troubleshooter the problem and took care of it. On time, fair estimate, backed up his work as he had to came back a second time to make repairs complete.

Scott is a known plumber in my neighborhood as the go to guy. Now I got to see why? Got my drain unclogged and showed me why it was clogging and made the fix so I could avoid it in the future. Picked up my 1st call and showed up when he said he would (rare these days) and the price wasn’t bad at all. Will happily call the Flying Plumber again!

I have used Scott several times for numerous issues in my very old home. The latest was today with a 2 gas line leaks from my hot water heater. Scott is dedicated to doing a wonderful job under many adverse circumstances in this case he had to work in very close quarters pulling out the hot water heater to even get to the valves but he did and went the extra mile to put the valves in an accessible location should they need attention in the future. I recommend him to one and all. He is the greatest!
