We had a 1 1/4 inch apex type water main damaged while our crews were trenching. RR tech quoted over the phone about 300.00 to “do the job”, but after job was completed price more than doubled. Workmen ship was good but his quoting was bad! We had the pipes exposed so they didn’t even need to dig to get to them and they knew exactly what had to be done so I don’t understand why price doubled. I had to get it fixed so we didn’t have a choice but wasn’t expecting twice the original quote. Not happy!!! I have used RR on several of our other projects around our development/property, guess I will shop around for firm price next time. RR will not be my first and only call next time. Lesson learned.

Alex and Troy were great, showed me some things I can do myself. The price of $240 an hour was quite outrageous though for 30mins of time. The office never gave me a heads up call either. My experience lately has been the guys in the field are better at communicating than the office that drives them. The service guys get 5 stars the office gets 1 star.
The technician was very professional, I was very disappointed in their customer service, they told me on Saturday night that they would be there between nine and 1 o’clock on Sunday. They showed up at 9 o’clock Sunday night. They told me plumbers called out sick, if that happens in the future they need to notify the customer so they can make other plans I had no toilets all day and we had a Christmas party. Very disappointed in the customer service very happy with James he was a great technician. Proffesional and he fixed my problem

The men that came out did a great job. Reyes was very polite and had amazing customer service. He spent hours helping me last night and then came with 2 more equally helpful men today.They went above and beyond to assist and was final able to unblock the drain!I would recommend them to anyone who asks!Reyes and the young man with him ( brand new on his first job today) went the extra mile!Kind and thoughtful. My technician Caleb Sadler was very professional and knowledgeable!
As always he was in time and professional. I have always been able to depend on them to get there within 2 hours, even in off hours, which is great in emergency situations. When changing got water heater, I was offered addition things I didn't know we're available, which really improved performance of the heater. I would recommend them & will call them when I next need a plumber.

I had a sewer line clog, the guy came out as I was told, he called me 15 minutes before arriving and did not try to sell me anything, he answered my questions honestly, thank you Quintin.

Worse experience ever. They told me they would arrive in an hour but they took 5 hours because they kept having “Delays”. First it was a system error then they reached out to someone that wasn’t even on the clock all in all 1 hour took 5. Then they told me I would get a $100 discount for the long delay but once the plumber arrived he said that he had never heard of a discount and the Company does not do that. All in all unprofessional and terrible service.
Service provided was efficient and timely - the only negative was when I asked the technician when he was on his way what the charge would be, he told me 79.95 but when he arrived he said the charge would be 79.95 plus $260,00. We had an emergency so I would have still used them, just left a sour taste in my mouth to not have been given an honest answer to my question when first asked.
Came the same day as the call and cleared the clog in our drain. Just what we were looking for.

I needed to replace a toilet and wanted that service done. My bathroom counter hoovers over the tank which caused a major problem. James looked the problem over and over, and spent time calling multiple places to locate a toilet that would work. He offered to go the the local Home Depot to check the inventory himself because the web site didn't make that information he needed easy to find online. He offered another option to make the something explaining that would be a additional charge. I opted to not replace the toilet because I am moving and it was a cosmetic issue rather than functional issue. I had pre-purchased a toilet for him to install which now I have no need for. I made a comment about having to return it and he lifted up the toilet to be returned and placed it in my van. The he showed the the experts' life hack on how to get it out of the van when I get to Home Depot. But I am EXREMELY HAPPY to have used Roto Rooter. I ended paying a service visit fee which he discounted based on the situation. when I didn't have anything resolved, which the discounted.Josh was the technician who made a terrible situation seem good. I learned a lot about plumbing issues. He was courteous friendly and efficient.I will us Roto Rooter from now on and will recommend to friends, Thanks and kudos to encouraging customers to donate to a food drive.

Would NOT recommend. High prices and we had to resolve the actual issue ourselves.Plumber came out Thursday morning due to a clogged toilet. We paid almost $500 for them to auger what was diagnosed as a partial clog. Initially I was pleased with the service despite the high price. Thursday evening, the toilet was leaking. They came back out and said it was leaking from the tank. This issue was not covered in the seven day warranty. Rather than pay another high price, my husband decided to replace the seals himself. Upon replacing the seals on Sunday we noticed that the toilet was now very wobbly. (It hasn't been used since Wednesday night due to the clog and continuing issues.) Not only is it wobbly, buy its still leaking around the bottom. We pull up the toilet to replace the bolts and see that the wax ring has roots growing around it and down the pipe.I realize that diagnosing plumbing issues is not always easy or accurate. In this case it was a good thing that the plumbers messed up the toilet as they fixed the partial clog. Had the other issues not occurred we still wouldn't know about the roots. That said, I'm also not happy about paying so much to discover and fix the actual problem for ourselves.

Technicians Kyle & Eric serviced my resident today with such professionalism. They were extreme punctual and addressed the problem right-away. After expressing my frustration of the numerous service vendors (plumbers) I had to deal with in the days prior, I explained the existing problem and they got right to solving. Technicians are inexperienced and unable to resolve the issue. After one-hour the first technician called 2 field supervisors to assist buy bringing a camera + snake at no extra charge. The field supervisors said they were too far away from his location. Instead, a 2nd tech was dispatched. He wasn't interested in looking at the kitchen sink, the origin of the backup. He spent a few minutes snaking the cleanout in the laundry room to no avail. After 2 techs & $400 still have a clogged/backed up sink and leaking pipe.

The fact that your technicians work on commission gives them the incentive to charge as much as possible. I was given an initial estimate of $413.00 for a drain cleaning that takes 30 mins. Who charges up to $800.00 an hour for a simple drain cleaning?This is post-pandemic robbery. Independent plumbers would never attempt a rate this high. We settled on $280.00 which was only somewhat closer to acceptable.You should take your company back to its roots and pay your techs a fair wage, and pay your company what leaves the consumer less suspicious of price gouging.

These guys are THE BOMB! They came within an hour of my house backing up GOO. BLACK GOO - and not the Texas Tea kind. They got the job done, cleared my drain and, here's the best part. They are super honest. I asked - given that they had the lid to my septic off - if I should just go ahead and pump it anyway - but it was far from being needed and they told me so. I will always go to them for issues now. My friend told me to call them first. She was so Right! Sunday night and my washing machine drain started backing up. Mild panic set in- I wasn’t even using the washing machine, I was using the kitchen sink! Called and help was on the way. Service was performed well and quickly, but scheduling was not great. Originally scheduled for Sunday between 4-8, didn’t get a call until 9:30 and had to reschedule. On the reschedule, the appt window was 10-2, but the guy didn’t arrive until 3:30.
Roto-Rooter was super fast to arrive. First competitor I called wanted to schedule 2 days out. Roto Rooter arrived in about 45 minutes. Rep was super open about what they believed to be happening, solved the issue and gave me great recommendations on how to possibly prevent the same issue in the future. 1 week earlier, just by chance, I had a different issue in a different area in the house and used Precision. 2 trips from this competitor and they were trying for a 3rd (never seemed to have all the equipment in the truck) quotes between 3k to 20k to do it right the competitor said. Ultimately I told this competitor to just fixed this issue alone and they did for $1300 (replaced 1 ft of exposed pipe).*Roto-Rooter* was way more honest, could fix the issue first time was quick about it and charged me 1/4 to 1/3 the price without trying to upsell a full home overhaul.

Roto-Roofer really responded expeditiously to our emergency. Steve, the technician was outstanding. He was very courteous, extremely knowledgeable regarding his craft, and was able to resolve our problem in the minimum amount of time. Great job!!!
I called Roto-Rooter after my tenant called and said they had standing water in the kitchen. I called other plumbers before calling them but the earliest any of them could come was approx 4-6 hours. Roto-Rooter said they would be out within 1-2 hours. When the technician arrived, he let me know what the problem was and what it would cost. He explained that the plastic tubing that runs to the fridge for the ice machine and water dispenser was punctured, leaking and needed to be replaced. He said it would cost $225 - his hourly rate. I asked how replacing a hose would take an hour and he explained that the minimum they charge is for 1 hour. I then called the Roto-Rooter office and asked them about the price and they said the technician is responsible for creating the estimate. I was pleased with their prompt service, but the price was a shock.

We had an issue with very slow bathroom drains, which in the past indicated the vent needing to be cleaned. When I spoke with the technician (via phone); I ask him what the cost would be for having the main vent cleaned as well. I was advised that the charge is a flat rate of $379 which was for the bathroom issue. Well, since we needed the bathroom fixed; I authorized the work.Fast forward to when I get home, I review the receipt and find out there was not flat rate; we were charged $249 for the bathroom issue (ok, get this) AND $129 to INSPECT the main line. If the technician was honest with me, I never would have authorized the main line inspection as we currently do not have an issue with it (just trying to stay ahead of a yearly issue).That was issue number 1. Issue number 2 came in early the next morning when I was getting ready for work. I went under sink in bathroom that Roto Rooter worked on and found the cabinet floor under said sink full of sediment (large clumps of debris) and water. Not only was I not comfortable using my hair dryer (due to it sitting in water), I had to throw away a brand new container of Q-tips and an entire thing of Bobby pins.I have not had issues like this before, however it appears this technician needs an ethics class and how to clean up after oneself.

10/10/2023The kitty Liter Clog. The shower drain in a secondary bathroom in a rental somehow became clogged with kitty litter. Didn’t seem like it would be a big problem so we called George Brazil to send out a technician. They did, three hours after arriving the problem was not solved. Not to worry we will send out a second technician. They did and 10 minutes after he arrived he determined the solution would require digging under the floor in the bathroom over to the P-trap for the shower and replacing the P-trap and the corresponding lines. Time to worry! The cost would be $5300. He then asked would I like to proceed. I did, but not with that solution but getting another option. So I called Roto Rooter, the following day two young gentleman arrived, 10 to 15 minutes later the drain was cleared. The cost $376. Next time you have a challenge choice wisely, the cost of a poor choice could be significant. Thanks Roto Rooter and more importantly James and Tasha.

$650 to fix a leak underneath the kitchen sink! The water pressure in my kitchen sink now is very low. When he was putting it back together, overtightened it and broke reverse osmosis system. He could not fix what he broke. I had to order the part and pay to get it installed by another plumber.Very unsatisfied with the end result, would not use again.
Fast, reliable service. Had Emil as our plumber. He fix the water leak in short time which gave us water in the house. He cleaned up the mess and even went one step further by starting our hot water heater. What a great experience. Please ask for Emil when you call he knows plumbing,but he's even a greater person who cares for his customers.

I've tried all of the big plumbing companies and a number of small ones. This company has the best quality plumbers. They show up quickly and on time, they don't wear stinky cologne, they're polite and very pleasant to work with. A tad bit expensive, but you get what you pay for!

We had a sewer issue. Some of our sewer pipe was failing. They did a great job. Always expensive to do this, but it was worth having truly professional and quick service that was done right the first time. They even did a recheck with a camera several days later to make certain everything was good. We even got a warranty on what they did.

She worked extremely hard to fix our problem, kept us informed throughout the whole process, and maintained a kind and pleasant attitude. The initial telephone appointment and scheduling were perfect. The plumber, Tim, was cordial, neat, well-prepared and informed us of what he was going to do and how it might go. The price surprised us as to how low it was! A+ service.
We cannot say enough wonderful things about Roto-Rooter. Our sewage water started backing up in our house, filling our bathtubs and toilets with all sorts of gross smelling water. To make matters worse, this all happened on Father's Day (not how we wanted to spend the day). We opened our sewage cleanout pipe in the front yard and toilet paper and water came out, we were throughly grossed out and super stressed. We previously used another company and weren't 100% happy with the service and their costs. So instead, we called Roto-Rooter, they were able to get someone out in under an hour. Our technician, Jiuhua, was a fantastic. He was able to quickly assess our situation, give us a quote and even coupon for a discount! He quickly went to work and was able to fix our problem quickly. He even found our missing sewage cleanout by trimming bushes and uncovering it the second cleanout quickly. He was so professional, so nice, a great communicator and all around a wonderful person to work with. He resolved our issue quickly, cleaned up the waste water mess and even trimmed and cleaned up our bush where the cleanout was. He went above and beyond what we expected and we just want everyone to know how great our experience was. We will continue to use Roto-Rooter in the future for our own home and our rental properties, and will recommend them to everyone we know! 10/10 experience.

The first plumber they sent told me I need a new toilet, bought the toilet, second plumber came and angered my original toilet fixed water level and so far all is working well. I returned the toilet and luckily the second plumber knew what he was doing and saved me lots of money.
They were very professional and flexible. I really appreciated their quick response and they about 30% less expensive than the others I had bid on the project.

I had a plumber try (and fail) to clear my line. He told me my pipe was broken and I had to pull out my kitchen cabinets, jackhammer the floor, and replace the pipe. Cost into the thousands. Instead I called roto rooter. He came out, gave me a quote, which had a rider that if he didn’t fix it, there would be no cost. It was therefore a no brainer to accept the quote. Half an hour later the line was clear and I was back in business. If I ever have an issue again I will call rotorooter first!

I called this company because one of my pipes was clogged and water was coming off the shower and toilet. They told me that they wouldn’t charge me until the problem was fixed. They charged me $329 dlls to put the snake in and the problem seemed “fixed” for a day. I called them to see if they could come back and help me and they told me that job was not guaranteed. They wanted me to pay again to fix the original problem that they didn’t fix in the first place. The pipes in my house are still clogged and I don’t have anymore money to hire someone else. They just told me that I had to pay again before they can help me. I am very disappointed about this company! Please make sure they write guaranteed on the ticket if not, you could face the same problem I am facing now.

I had a positive experience with Roto-rooter. The person who took my call was very pleasant! I was given a rough idea of arrival time, but received an update half an hour before arrival and the operator DID arrive on time. He was very pleasant and got to work immediately. He did a very thorough job, cleaned up when he was done and I would recommend Roto-rooter.
Updated post:I explained the whole situation to the General Manager, Mark at Roto Rooter and he promptly resolved the issue and made the whole situation right by refunding all the money that was paid. I do respect how this was handled. I discovered this was an anomaly in the work Roto Rooter does and they do deserve 5 stars for their response to my complaint. I will let people know that they do listen and act when mishaps happen. Thank you Mark.I also want to thank Pat Swanson for responding to my first post and getting involved and helping the whole situation. Thank you!Previous postI was told by the technician that he could not fix the problem permanently but could fix it temporarily because I did not have a clean out and he could not use the right type of snake. He explained to me that he would unclog the main line at least temporarily to last awhile until I pay them more to come back out and dig out a section of the pipe and replace it. When the technician left the main line was still clogged as it was before and the toilet was put on wrong. The toilets should have not been removed in the first place. They charged me a ridiculous amount and made the problem worst. I will be contacting the BBB, since they will not refund me the amount they billed me. I will not use them again in the future and I will tell everyone I know not to use Roto Rooter.
Josh was on time, professional, kind and very personable. He completed his work quickly and also found the humor in fishing bumblebee the transformer out of the toilet. It was nice that he discreetly threw it away (upon request) before the kids could see it and throw a tantrum. He was also willing to give a free estimate on some additional work needed in the future.When we called this morning about a non working toilet they got right out within 2 hours and were fair in price.The staff that scheduled the appointment and later called to confirm we were home were also kind and professional. Professional, knowledgeable and did not give up on fixing the issue with our backed up toilets. It was cousing the showers to back up. The tech assessed the situation and got it cleared. Bieng that it was the 4th of July they were prompt on arrival and did not have to wait forever. Very satisfied!

A employee buy the name of Richard fixed a leak under my sink. Turns out it was a condensation line. He came in on a Saturday and was unable to get parts until Monday. Emil was so throughly was Abe to attack all my drainage problems.He was very professional explain everything. He resolve more of the problems that were link to the main problem. He saved me from having to call a plumer to resolve the rest of the issues.
I had a sewer line blockage that was backing up the toilets and sinks of a rental property with a disabled tenant. They were able to get out there within an hour of my call and solve the problem. Tree roots had grown into the sewer line creating the blockage. They ran the cutter through several times to ensure it was cleared out. The technician communicated with me the entire time. I was very pleased with the service and response and will definitely use in the future.

The RotoRooter technician, Matt Craighead, came to our house late Friday afternoon, and gave us an estimate to have our very dated and damaged Orangeburg sewer drain pipe replaced using their Trenchless Pipe Burst System. Though half our toilets were inoperative due to a plugged and broken line, we still had the use of one toilet, so timing wasn't critical, but Matt said they could do the job the following Wednesday. We got other estimates on Saturday, but all exceeded Matt's bid by $500 and more. We called Matt and scheduled the work. He and 3 other strong guys showed up at about 9 AM, Wednesday morning and got to work digging the 4 holes needed to access the old pipe. It was an amazing amount of excavation work, all hand dug, with one of the holes over 7feet deep. The crew worked incredibly hard for over 12 hours, digging, hydraulically pulling the 65 feet of new HDPE sewer pipe, and making the solid connections to our house drain and the city sewer line. At 8PM Matt asked that we test the new line, which worked perfectly. He and the other 3 then proceded to fill the access holes. When they completed their work at 9PM (the last three hours having been conducted in partial darkness!) they had done such a competent job we could scarcely believe they had even been in our back yard. An incredibly fine job done by a seemingly tireless crew of highly trained professionals. In my 43 years as a Real Estate Developer, it was one of the finest pieces of work I'd ever seen done. We just had the best experience with Roto-Rooter! We had a clog and dirt backing up into our bathtub and the toilets bubbling and clogging. They showed up on time and were so kind and helpful! They were able to clear our line and take care of the problem. They were absolute gentlemen and without a doubt, we will call on Roto-Rooter if we ever need help.
Roto Rooter service was fast. The cost is a little pricey but I think it will be worth it. They even guarantee their work for 120 days. I would definitely recommend Roto Rooter

Sewage coming up out of all our bathtubs and toilets on a holiday weekend morning was not ideal. So we called roto-rooter (a pricey plumber we had used before was closed for the holiday). Roto-rooter’s Quinton and Mike were good at plumbing AND at customer service: they did the job right and efficiently, were on time on a federal holiday, and just generally nice people who know their trade well and can explain it to customers. I am pleased and will use roto-rooter again based on this first experience. Their prices were fair and the effort was high.

I had a badly clogged sewer line with years of grease buildup. Allen Davis showed up earlier than expected. He took the time to explain their hydro-jetting process and the benefits. Sewer pipe from house to stack for mainline to street. Valentine cleared the pipe then used the camera to discover a down slope where a tree root was pushing it up. We went through options for a fix to excavate and replace our sewer line. Valentine's explanation of work involved and how it would be done was spot on. He was here for as long as it took to determine what exactly was required. He also had a great personality and was happy to meet him.

Technical came out to unclog the drain, we paid $240 . For this price, our bathtub and bathroom should have been spotless like when the technician began. It was not. He left black stuff all in the tub, on the floor and smudged fingerprints on the toilet seat. If this was the $69 special, sure but at $240 the room should have been spotless like no one had been in there. Wouldn't recommend or use again. There was confusion about pricing, the first agent Carlyle said $1,300 would be my total, the second agent Tyree said that would be the labor part.Once we sorted that (I paid the higher amount), Tyree had arrived at my place early while I was still working at my own job, then left with no way for me to reach him. I called dispatch and quickly got a callback from Justin. Justin said Tyree would call me within 15 minutes. Over Almost an hour later, I heard Tyree and two others working in my garage getting the hot water heater installed. They said they would be done in 45 minutes. Happily, that was true.Glad we got this handled today, but it seemed like a bigger ordeal than necessary. 😳

So I called little before midnight and I ask about the service we needed the person on phone said it was going to be about two hours for the next available technician and so I said if I could have an estimate of the cost the guy said he didn't know that only technicians knew so I said ok 3.30 am came by and I called again to see what happened person on phone seem confused and said he had to called me back and he did he apologized and said he didn't know what happened and said someone was going to come in about 30 minutes and the tech came just to take a look and said it was going to be about $529.00 seriously.. for a clogged drain.. late and expensive no thanks.

The service I got from Roto Rooter was AWFUL. They completely gave me the run around. They tried charging me $500 to fix a pipe that was so called “the issue”. Got a second opinion from a different company- that wasn’t the issue WHATSOEVER. On top of that, Roto Rooter tries to separate the one issue and charge you for multiple things saying each issue is different. They lied to me multiple times AND I lost $389 through a billing dispute where they were not truthful- asked me to first cancel it with the guarantee of their service again. But after I cancelled- they had amnesia. Overall NOTHING got fixed- this lasted over a month of us going back and forth. The technician they sent out each time was rude while on our property. Didn’t wipe their shoes, disrespectful to my tenants etc. No craftsmanship. Listen to the negative reviews on here folks. If you want to be more stressed out and lose money, contact Roto Rooter. Would not recommend.

it was a pain to get an appointment. I was contacted by a driver/serviceman and he was pretty rude and vague on the phone...i had no one get back to me for five days and when I called again we set up an appointment finally and the service man was an hour late. however, it was quality work and the service was quick.

Cleaned the J-trap and drains perfect
So the exact service we received isn't on here... But after our curious, adventurous boys discovered some cool, unknown holes (aka our sewer main accesses), they decided to explore and one accidentally dropped a water bottle down it. This was all unknown to us as they apparently did it while we were loading up to leave the house... Since they are older and I have two littles I need to get things for and get loaded, they sometimes roam the front while we load.Last night, I put two and two together when our toilets started backing up and water was coming into the bathtubs.... Roto-Rooter came out quickly and the technician was able to get us up and running...the next day a supervisor came out to see if he could dislodge the bottle.. hopefully we are good to go!I was impressed at how fast they responded. This was at about 8pm at night. He was extremely professional, kind, and non-judgmental. I wish I knew the names of the gentlemen that came to our house as they both deserve recognition. Thank you Roto-Rooter!
Great customer service. I had a garbage disposal malfunction on Sunday evening. I called a handful of plumbers and Roto Rooter was the only one who not only answered (not an answering machine) but could give me an actual estimated time of arrival (not a we'll call you back).They called to confirm my appointment the next morning. And when their technician was running behind, they contacted me well ahead of time so I wasn't sitting around wondering where they were.The guy (can't remember his name) showed up, was courteous and professional. He took one look at my disposal and knew that it wasn't, as I thought, broken. It just needed to be reset basically. It took him 5 minutes, for which he could have easily charged me for an entire hour. But he didn't. He was gracious enough to label it a service call and didn't charge us anything.We've all heard horror stories about plumbers/mechanics/contractors, but Roto Rooter was awesome. Definitely recommended for any plumbing questions.

Way overpriced. $525 to cut out a broken t joint on a metal pipe and put in a replacement. I almost laughed it was so rediculous. $20ish of parts and maybe 30 minutes of labor is all it would take. How is that adding up to over $500?

Toilet was blocked, needing removed to auger from the bottom up. They did not lay any plastic or ANYTHING down to lean the toilet over other than our own personal towels. Ok, but without asking, stole a good bath sheet towel. And then, since we had online coupon from original contact of $50 off. Oops he said as he didn’t include that in our $390 bill. Use it next time. What next time?! So even though they come 24/7, I was disappointed with the mess to clean, the cost, and the loss of the towel.

We had a main sewer pipe collapse causing sewage backup into one condominium unit. After having a local plumber deal with the immediate situation... we called Roto Rooter. They came out 1st thing the next day. diagnosed the problem and had a crew onsite several hours later. Their crew worked tirelessly well into the evening to restore service. We are sincerely greatful to Chris (Proj Mgr) and his crew Matt and Steve.
The technician was very persistent at getting the drain to work. The sink had been badly clogged for quite a while and it took him well over an hour to get it opened, but he was successful and it runs better than it has in years

The price was almost $200 difference for the guy to remove the toilet which I agreed to. I told the tech that there was some silicon under and instead of cutting it loose he tried to pull it up and ripped the vinyl flooring and then left the toilet off for my person to repair and reinstall the toilet with no price break either. So basically i,paid $200 for my toilet to be removed and flooring ripped and left open!!! Not a satisfied customer!!!
Roman was the technician that came out. He was punctual, knowledgeable about is trade. He explained everything he was doing and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend Roman for any future work.
Roman was super knowledgeable, was able to get to our place within the hour, took care of a huge backed up plumbing issue we had, and they even cleaned up the mess from the initial overflow of sewage! The crew was very kind about everything and kept us very well informed. Highly recommend! :)

Great job in fixing our drain clog. The tech was professional and did it in a timely manner keeping us informed as to what was going on until it was unclogged. It ended up being clogged at the city connection and or something in the city side of the drain. A camera follow up to view the obstruction area as part of the original service was performed. Again very professional technician, friendly and detailed. The camera could only get out to the city drain where water was backed up in the city main. Once a camera hits water you can no longer see through it. I will be calling the city to deal with this Tomorrow (01.24.22).
Our technician was awesome. We had some issues with you guys setting up an appointment for us for Saturday between 1-5 but no one showed up. We we received a call apologizing stating the crew spent all day on a job and after it was done there was no one on call to come out to our house. We ended up scheduling someone for the next morning.

James shared his profound knowledge and years of experience with myself and the landlords to help us to Better understand what needed to be done to protect my family. Had a late night clog that was coming out of the toilet. They let us know when the plumber was on his way, and came in the time frame they provided. He was very friendly and professional, and got the glog cleared. Had helped repair the toilet.

HORRIBLE!! Spent $ on a plumber, no fix cloged drain, plumber suggested roto rooter. HE came, went on roof, cleaned 3 roof vents, charged me $. 525. and still.not fixed,, worse, floods all over. Told me septic was full. no fix and already cost $$$$. Another $250. to clean septic, problem solved. Blew $525. guy was here less than 30 min, wasnt rude, but definaately not friendly. Never this company again. Were in our mid 80's and cant afford paying for a job not accomplished.

Called them for a leak which wasn’t even fixed properly had to have another company come out and actually replace whole toilet and they still tried to charge me for services they didn’t even do when I asked for a freak down of what they were charging for the woman who handles payments was so overly rude they would not cooperate with me what’s so ever nor would they respond to me. They will do anything to try and do anything to take your money. And last but very much not least one of their employees went into a restricted part of my home and left a cell phone where my kids play. Weird! Highly do NOT recommend this company!!!!!!

I was shocked at how quickly I was able to get someone out to my house. It was less then a 2 hour wait which was such a relief on a Saturday when you have a ton of cleaning to do and not plumbing. Tim was super friendly and got everything back in order while also helping me figure out what was causing the issues, since my home is 60 years old. Glad to finally have a solution to our ongoing issues with plumbing here.
I really expected I was going to be told my main line needed repaired or replaced. The guys were friendly, professional and honest. Tech was great. They came out within a couple of hours on a Saturday. The estimated window was 2 to 3 hours. Upon approaching the second hour, I received a call informing me that I would be next in line and they would call again when the tech was a on the way. Very professional company.
Texhnician was here within a couple of hours of my call. Was knowledgeable and had my drains unclogged quickly.
Jiuhua was friendly and prompt. He explained what was wrong, how he was going to fix it. He finished quickly, showed me the work and I am satisfied with the job he did.

For the 4th time in my home owning life, Roto Rooter has provided me with excellent, fast, courteous and knowledgeable service.Today they performed a sewer rooter on a difficult and long sewer line on an early Sunday morning.Previously they did another rooter service, repaired a slab leak at my old rental property, and replaced a partial sewer line at my old house.Whether the job was large or small, they completely explained what I needed and for sewer issues showed me with a camera exactly what the problem was.Any time I’ve ever tried a different company, I got exhorbitant quotes for services that were unnecessary or overkill. I only call Roto Rotor now.

*UPDATE* Did receive a prompt email from Pat followed by a call from Mark & I was allowed to voice my opinion. In no way did the tech do anything wrong. Aaron was fantastic as i mentioned in my initial feedback. They made it right & I would use them again based on my conversations with Mark. Thanks for making it rightThe tech was perfectly fine, polite & all the rest. Your prices are way way gouged but I know how u work. There is a camera service and a main sewer, but I knew already that was the issue, but they still do it to collect more dollars. $775 dollars to take out a clump of hair seems excessive.

We had a blocked line on our commercial grease trap and made several calls before getting to these guys. Should have called them first. Within a few hours of the call Joe (our tech) was here and had the problem solved. Joe was awesome and we will definitely call them if we have a problem in the future.
Service tech Chris was very professional and informative due to the issue with the toilet.
The tech was professional and did a fantastic job. The clog was in a commercial building and difficult to work on.
We have had issues with roots in our main sewer line. I new that calling Rotor Router first would correct the situation. I called a local plumber who showed up in his personal vehicle and pulled out a snake. He managed to unclog the drain. So he packed up his tools and charged me $75. Said job is done. Did not correct or fix issue so had to call another plumber from the internet who did the same thing the first guy did. Now I'm out 150.00 to wack people who claim to do a job and fail at it. Long story short call the professionals Rotor Router for all plumbing needs. Yes I paid more but the service is well worth it. Thanks Mason C. For taking care of our problems.

On Sunday at 10:38 am I called Roto-rooter for a clogged drain. I was given a window of 3-4 hours. Eleven hours later they showed. I called multiple times trying to get an update, but was only told they would get back to me. The service was good. But I felt there would be some compensation back for the inconvenience. The bill was $350!! I will never use them again and will spread the word here in my small community. Customer beware, call another provider!!!

I had a major clog in my main line, nothing would work on it and water would not flow and was backing up. I called roto-rooter, it was a Sunday and they sent a tech out to me earlier than my appointment was scheduled which was amazing considering how far away they were. The Tech arrived, his name was Stan he was super professional, polite and knowledgeable. The clog was caused by roots and it wasn't a problem. I've dealt with other plumbing companies before, this was by far my best experience. On a scale of 1-10 on how I recommend, it's definitely a 17. If I need a plumber again I'm definitely calling Roto-rooter and requesting Stan. Couldn't be more happy with my service.

The Roto Rooter crew showed up on time with all the right equipment to pump out and thoroughly clean the grease trap in our church kitchen. The price was fair and the job done right in under 1 hour.

Doc and Joe were awesome! They came right away. Turned out to be a minor issue and did not charge me for the service. They are honest and knowledgeable. Another plumbing company came over prior and said I needed $400 water pressure jet cleaning job. I'm glad I called Roto-rooter. I will certainly call Doc and Joe again if I have any plumbing issues.

ROTO-ROOTER is honest and fair and fixed the mess the others left behind. Roto-Rooter is cheap, and if they don't fix it -you don't pay.The other guys( plumbing masters-the smell good)were liars and scam artists. After paying them about $300 to clear the drain in the kitchen, they told us we needed to pay another 300 to have them Hydro jet it because they couldn't get through. so the kitchen drain cost us $600 and on two occasions I had to mop the entire kitchen floor and wash the walls because the guy left sludge everywhere.Then in the bathroom, they couldn't get through so they gouged a hole in our pipe which was how it finally drained. When I told them about the hole, they claimed that we did it and charged us $400 to fix the pipe he gouged. In the end the drain would not clear, so they tried again and could not get through. They told us it would cost $1700 to tear up the ground and go fix the pipe underneath.😠Nope! Michael at Roto Rooter did it for $240.🙌

Why I went with RotoRooter was the fact they gave a 6 month guarantee which was double of the other company I checked out. The man the came to the house was very professional.So far so good but this was done only about a week ago. I also like when I called the office I could get a human being. Everything was explained to me before I booked. All questions were answered.

I called Roto-Rooter to come clear a clogged shower drain. Was quoted $95 and when the worker showed up, he said it would cost $240. Seriously?! To clear one drain? What happened to the price quoted? There was no additional work he needed to do other than run a snake down the drain. called a reputable plumber, was quoted $45 and indeed it was only $45. Took all of 10 min. Will certainly never use them in the future. Behaviour like this has the appearance of being disingenuous, deceitful and duplicitous.

I had one backed up sink in the kitchen and called this company to have someone come out. They let me know they couldn't quote a price over the phone but that the assessment was free. The man who came out was very professional and on time. He took one look at the clean out and quoted almost $500 for ONE clog. This is an outrageous cost for a simple clog. I told him no thank you and called a different plumber that did the job for $125. Definitely try anyone else before using this company.

The techs came out to clean out the sewer lines and I paid to have the camera scope service completed. The Field Supervisor quoted me a price and told me he would get back to me by the following Wednesday to see what he could do with the price (I just moved in less than 3 weeks prior to this disaster being discovered under the house). I never heard back, he’s not returning my calls, I’ve left voicemail, texts, called and spoke to Diana, she said she would be in contact with him. I never received copies of the images or videos of what he found. I paid for it and want what was taken and found. Im still waiting to hear back. So, far they have taken $700 from me, but I don’t have the pictures, images, or videos of what was found from the canes scope. I paid for it, I want it so I know how I am going to proceed.
Will Jones went above and beyond to get the restoration work done at my house following water heater breaking down and creating a flood. He's the guy you want to help restore your home to what it was. He was very effective at communicating his restoration strategy, what needed to be done, and what steps that I had to perform. He makes it look easy. Highly recommended.

I had three plumbers come by to assess our water pressure - which had progressively went from bad to worse. We went months with such low pressure, then I woke up one day and the water was coming out as a trickle. We had the city of PHX come by to assess, and THREE plumbers (different companies), even the water softener company came by to assess, and none of them found the root of the issue or even did as much research as the employee at Roto-Rooter. I'm skipping everyone else and going straight to them next time. I wish I remembered his name - Thank you soo much for finally getting to the root cause of the issue that EVERYONE ELSE missed!

The technicians were professional, experienced and succeeded in fixing our clogged pipe that another plumber was unable to resolve. Prices are not the cheapest in town, but quite often you get what you pay for. In the end, Roto Rooter saved us a ton of money by getting the job done without resorting to extreme measures that other plumbers were pitching to us. We will use them again in the future.

Josh came to my house yesterday and cleared a washing machine line and the bathtub. He is an outstanding employee and deserves all the recognition. 5 star service from him.The company did send out another two employees the night before and asked for over 800 dollars to root out the two lines. Those employees said things that weren't congruent with what Josh said the next day. Those employees ended up leaving that night and didn't fix the problem, leaving it for Josh the next morning.

To my surprise, this Roto Rooter does not jack-up the price for an emergency weekend call. NICE! I have used this company before and will continue to do so. They have gained my trust! I called roto rooter they gave me arrival time 1-2 hrs. A tech was here within 30 minutes. My drains were cleared quickly maybe 30 at most. Quick professional . I had called another ad just wasted money. Recommend roto rooter .

I called one company they gave me a arrival time any where between 8am -6pm. I called Roto-Rooter and was given a 2 hour arrival time. They arrived 45 min early and was done by 11:00am , Easy Peasy! it was pricey but if you don`t want any Melvin`s doing your work then you have to be willing to pay a little more.

We found ourselves with major plumbing leaks to the older home we just purchased. Feeling lost and horrified at what may need to be done to fix our home was very scary. The plumbers with Roto-Rooter went above and beyond to walk us though the process of lining our cracked pipes. Troy was always calm and thorough it all he did which was a lot. He was always positive in his mission to fix our home. Chris and Dave who did the liner also went above and beyond to ensure the job was done well and that we were comfortable with the process. Roy was so good with scoping and showing us what needed to be done to get us up and being able use our water. When a jackhammer is used to access the pipes your heart hurts and the stress level rises. The staff kept us grounded and understood our pain and always understood our need in everything they did. I called for a fairly simple clogged toilet that at home remedies couldn't solve. They got someone out within a few hours, which is where the positives end. I was not able to be home, my adult daughter was here and was told it would be $446 for the fix. I assumed this meant he was having to remove the toilet and spend quite a bit of time to fix the clog. After I got the quote and my daughter paid, she texted me he was done - 15 min later. He didn't tell her what he had to do and she paid and he left. I was shocked at the price and waited until I got home at 10pm to look at the paperwork to see what plumbing wizardry he must have done. What did I pay $446 for 15 min of work for? Augering the line for a few minutes, turning water back on at the toilet, and flushing it to check. I called two other companies and they said this would have been a max of $150-200 for this type of work. This is clearly a company and plumber taking advantage of a young lady who does not know what to ask. Unacceptable and I will be filling an official complaint with BBC, Plumbers union, and the ROC. Or the company can hold their own plumber accountable.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Steve and Scott. They were courteous and listened to my thoughts on what I thought was the problem. They didn't speculate on the issue but told me what they planned to do and kept me informed. They are truly drain experts.
They came out within 30 minutes of the initial call. Showed the guy the bathroom, then the backyard he threw a $400 dollar bid at me. When I said that was too expensive, he turned around and left. He walked right in my house without wiping his feet and was gone before I realized what was going on. His whole visit lasted 5 minutes. He didn't offer any alternatives. He didn't even tell me what I was going to get for the money or any alternatives. Will never call them again.
Great quick and professional response. All the work was completed in a timely fashion. Beyond satisfied. Will use them again, like we have in the past.

Excellent service. Estimate was completed one day and the next day the entire list was completed including 3 bathroom faucets, 2 shower faucets, 2 toilets, 1 kitchen faucet and a garbage disposal. All the tasks were pretty difficult as most equipment was original from '85 so there was lots of skill needed. Chris #1119 completed a mammoth task and with quality. Chris is also very informative. We had an excellent experience with Joe when he came to my mom’s mobile home. He assessed the issue, explained throughly what was happening and why, and gave us practical advice. The people here were AMAZING!! I had a pipe burst at 11PM on a Sunday night and I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day at 8am which is just unheard of. I set up an appointment for early in the morning and accidentally slept through it. But I called up my technician and he immediately turned around which I am extremely thankful for. Johnathan and Quinton were both very professional and I appreciate that they both wore face masks and avoided staying inside the house as not only a safety thing but as to not track mud. They were very honest and straight forward about the repairs and didn’t give me any false promises or try to sugar coat anything. They had told me it was going to take a couple hours but finished a little bit ahead of schedule which was amazing. The work that was done looks good and they even took care of installing a new faucet which will save me from having this issue again in the future. Wonderful people working for a wonderful company. I wish every repair man was like the team that came out to my house today!!

Overall, the service / experience left a fair amount to be desired. The plumber showing up almost 2 hours outside of the scheduled window wasn't too much of an issue, and is fairly common these days. The majority of the frustration came from the plumber, upon arrival, saying your garbage disposal is broken. We don't do repairs, only replacements, it'll be $550. The new garbage disposal is working, but I find it extremely misleading that on the website (and this review service list) they advertise the service of garbage disposal repair, only for that to be immediately shot down as an option. The experience definitely has me planning to find a different service provider moving forward.

The woman who booked my appointment was very friendly and made sure I knew that if I was willing to wait 24hours for service I could save a lot of money due to holiday rates being in effect when I called. That was super helpful!When Lorenzo showed up he was respectful of my home and explained everything he was going to do, and was willing to teach me why certain techniques we're better than others to snake a drain. (I'm super curious and always want to learn.)He fixed the problem in under 1 hour, and I couldn't be more pleased.Thank you RR for such great customer service from start to finish! I was told that it would cost $418.00 just to get the snake out of the truck but I also thought we had a serious problem and thought it might take some serious snaking to get to the problem. Scott was sleepy, as it was a mid-night Emergency. Another plumber I called couldn't find the clean out, but Scotty did! Got his equipment out and quickly got to work. I offered him a warm, freshly brewed coffee and he couldn't resist. I was happy to make it for him as it's the least I could do. He got my drains cleaned and flowing within an hour from arriving to departure.Had a smile on his face and knew what he was doing. I'd call Scott again if I need help!

We called at 1pm for an appointment for a badly clogged drain. We were assured a plumber would arrive between 5-7. At 5pm Chris arrived and went straight to work and fixed our issue. Chris is a great communicator, friendly, and good at his job. Couldn’t ask for better service.

Jason came out to unclog our drain that I had unsuccessfully tried to unclog with an electric snake that I had from Harbor freight. He said it was a stubborn clog but with his professional equipment patience and perseverance he was able to get it unclogged. Well worth the price.
10/10 recommend! James and Justin were both very professional. James was very helpful in teaching me how to prevent my current problem.

I called Roto Rooter to replace the water softener filter and the osmosis system filters. Got quoted 416 for one hour of work. The tech who quoted told me probably it would be half since the work should not take the hour. This was Saturday. Came back Monday because he needed to buy the part. Told me he would be around 11 am and got here 1.5 hours later. The filter allegadely cost $78, the other filters I had. They left a bit after 4 pm. They spilled water around the cabinet and had tobopen one of the tubes. Just now I had to re open because it was leaking. Next time I'll do the work myself. High prices and poor quality of service. The two plumbers were nice, polite, and respectful. Other than that, I would not reccomend.Update-after the review received an email inquiring about the review. Was asked if the manager could follow up. I said yes and this was over three months ago; no one reached out. Deficient customer service.

Rip off !!!!!Way too over priced for under rated services. The maintenance tech was very polite though. I was not going to pay 160 on top of the 90 already paid to get coils cleaned that take 20 mins to do myself. He also have me a simple, everything looks good. No details. Spent less than 5 minutes on the roof and did all the supposed tune up work in that time. Just seemed fishy so I sent him in his way.
This company charged WAY too much for an hours work. The job was done correctly but WAY too expensive. We will never call these greedy people again.

Fast service that was thorough and complete. We had a clogged drain pipe and our washing machine was overflowing. We are a busy animal hospital and needed it to work again quickly. Took great diligence and initiative in diagnosing the problem. Performed several routines to accurately define and build a picture of the issue and made the necessary steps to make sure we ultimately solve the problem! Great perseverance and leadership qualities!
Aaron was very professional! He was able to diagnose and resolve the concern quickly. He was very positive and smiled during our discussion. His confidence was comforting.
Terrible Service. My problem occured on a Saturday. I know it's a busy time but I never received a call back.

James and Arianna were great. They came in, explained to us what was going on, disclosed things appropriately, and gave us different options. The work was done on time and they gave us a maintenance schedule looking forward.I would recommend them.

The staff was very friendly and honest with us. Was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was honest about the cost, which was very close to his initial estimate. His installation was done well and was relatively quick. I would recommend you to anyone.

Had a toilet leaking (minor) and asked for appointment next morning. They gave us a window time frame and arrived accordingly. That in itself impressed but when Jason B assessed the issue gave honest estimate which was incredibly reasonable plus he fixed a tub clog and hose bib valve free of charge! These guys are super fair and professional highly recommend and will use again (hope I don’t need them) but if I do...Best plumbers!!!

I had a shower drain completely clogged. On a Saturday, no less. Called Roto Rooter around 3 PM and the drain was cleared before 6 PM. Very courteous man and his trainee took care of the drain and I paid a fare price for a Saturday service call.I would highly recommend this service to anyone in a similar situation.

James was great! I was well informed of everything that he was doing he walked me through the process and made this whole stressful situation so much easier! Not only did he unclog the stoppage but he was able to diagnose the full issue with his professional equipment!

Kyle and his other technician were both very nice and upfront with everything they were doing when I called them out to our restaurant for a floor drain problem. Very honest and thorough work from this company - I would highly recommend them for any plumbing jobs, especially commercial ones!
Roman was AWESOME…..arrived quickly, assessed the situation and got to work. He did a great job, was friendly, efficient and explained everything he was going to do. He was great!!
