Rembrandt Countertops

I would highly advise you to stay away from this company. I have been going back and forth with Rembrandt Countertops through Lowes since early June 2022. After months of back and forth, my counters were installed with stains and a white glow. They came back out a second time to replace the originals (after months of back and forth) and did a terrible job with the caulking and the countertops had obvious stains. As of today, October 28, 2022, I have not heard about a follow-up. Please stay away from this company and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

We were very impressed with Rembrandt and their work to install our new countertops. When there was a supplier delay (nothing to do with Rembrandt), the owner Dwayne located alternate materials for us so we could expedite our project. When there was a minor accident and a kitchen window was broken, Rembrandt immediately sent out a window repair service to replace the pane. With supply chain issues and everyone being so busy these days there will always be some unanticipated delays. So our expectation of great customer service is not that there won't be any problems, but that a company will work hard to fix them when there are. Rembrandt really did that for us and we would recommend them to anyone.

I connected with Rembrandt Stone through IKEA (Tempe AZ) and I feel very lucky that I did and glad that I did not take that decision on myself. Oh, I picked the quartz I wanted from the IKEA lineup of options, but did not have to search out a contractor. From the beginning, it was a pleasure working with this company: from Blake for high-tech measuring, to Duane with scheduling and Luis and his partner for installing. Everyone was so nice. Even with the holidays, I only had to wait from 22 December (measurement) to 5 January (installation) for completion. I recommend you use this outfit if you are in the greater Phoenix area whether you connect with them through IKEA or directly.

I got Rembrandt's name from Ikea, and I spent over 2 weeks just trying to talk to someone about stone options and pricing. Nobody ever got back to me. They're unprofessional at best and incompetent at worst.

Do yourself a favor and steer clear. We used this company successfully 2 other times. But with the new owner Duane, we received the worst customer service-or lack there of we have ever experienced. We picked a remnant slab for a bathroom remodel. After weeks of no communication, unanswered phone calls and emails, we went into the office and began proceeding with the office manager. We paid our deposit and were assured in multiple emails that our slab was there. We continued to communicate-our project was measured, we picked an accompanying sink, we were told that our piece was fabricated, we were given an install date. The date comes and goes-no install, no phone call. No answered phone call or email. We had to go into the office to get answers. We were then told by the owner Duane-oh we don't know where your slab is. Then when we showed him the slab we were told they didn't own it. Stay away! Not the same company as we used in 2014. We wasted 6 weeks and now have to start over....... WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

I had the BEST customer service experience with this company. I went to one counter shop nearby and felt like my purchase wasn't important to them. I researched other counter companies and found Rembrandt.

From the initial estimate to the finished product, they were awesome. We had issues with a sink that arrived damaged, and Howard said, Do you want it perfect? Of course, my answer was yes. That meant he had to make another trip after the replacement sink arrived.

The installers were wonderful, as well.

The finished product is amazing! I'll post a pic once Sav-On Plumbing installs the plumbing.

I can't recommend this company more highly. From start to finish, I felt important. Thank you, Howard and all your great staff!

Rembrandt did an excellent job on our kitchen granite. Results are fabulous. Installers were top of the line. Only one cut line in the whole kitchen and stairway, and a shelf next to the kitchen. Pricing was good last year. Howard lives in our neighborhood. He came back himself to install a granite desk top several months after the main kitchen was done since it took time to order the cabinets. The whole remodel took some time but not because of Rembrandt. They kept to the schedule and showed up on weekends to make it work for us. Could not ask for more. I am a professional license engineer with 30 years experience in construction and I know a good contractor when I see one. With Rembrandt no flakes, over-booking, poor scheduling, shoddy work and the other problems I have encountered trying to get project done on-time and correctly with other contractors. Our project had eight pieces of granite. They reinforced the Island with plywood so any chance of cracking is eliminated. They gave me a bottle of Italian high-end polish for maintenance. I am big on the kitchen as most important room int he house and with Rembrandt's granite job it is stunning!

Our shower project in our master bath was redone by Rembrandt 5 years ago. Howard and his employees are professional and completed the project on time as promised.

We show our project off to everyone that is thinking about remodeling their bathroom. It is truly a jaw dropper when they see it.

We feel very fortunate that we saw their work and picked up their business card at Diamond Kitchen and Bath. It was the best remodeling decision we have ever made to hire Rembrandt.

We needed our Rembrandt provided and installed 15 year old countertop cut because our new range would not fit. The problem was this was happening during the Christmas and New Years holidays.
I went to their offices trying to schedule something ASAP because otherwise we would have a useless new range sitting in the middle of our kitchen.
The folks at Rembrandt were not only extremely understanding and enlightening about how the countertop should be cut, but also scheduled the work to happen immediately. I drove back home and their repair crew arrived less than an hour later.
In about 1 hr, our problem was resolved.
I will recommend this company above all others without reservation.

Rembrandt recently completed their second job for me. The first was removing my bar height counter top and replacing it to one height with a beautifully fabricated piece of granite. There was enought granite left to do my guest bath. The second job was in my master bath. I went to Rembrandt and looked through their boneyard with an employee. That employee was so helpful in helping me find something that was big enough and then to tape out my measurement positionings. They did a great job in the fabrication. Their employees were very professional when they installed on both jobs. I would certainly recommend Rembrandt to anyone.

This service was recommended to me by a chef friend. Their in-store sales staff were very friendly, understood what I wanted in a countertop, did not try to up-sell, and were prompt sending out someone to do measurements. The job was complicated requiring intricate cuts but they did it superbly (with nice clean-up). I've had these countertops for five years now and still totally love them. They are a solid laminate and hold up to rolling out cookies and pastries and daily scrubbings. I had quotes from other contractors but Rembrandt was by far the best for price, wide color/type selection and pleasantness/promptness to work with (even though it was a drive to get to their location). I've renovated houses for more than 30 years and worked with many vendors and contractors - this was totally worth it.

Rembrandt installed out kitchen counter about 3 years ago. We ordered the granite from another supplier but Rembrandt handled all the details. We needed two slabs due to the length of the counter and they were installed so well that you cannot tell there is a seam involved. We also had several backsplashes installed. One of the backsplashes cracked at least twice while being installed but Rembrandt kept replacing and installing it until it was correct. Rembrandt was recommended by our cabinet maker and we were very happy with the recommendation. We would higly recommend Rembrandt for any granite work you may need.

Rembrandt has fabricated a round conference room table, a small kitchen countertop, a double sink bathroom countertop and also done some maintenance upkeep on some other stone finishes at my brother's offices. There can't be a better place to get stone work fabricated. I've toured their facility and have never seen another fabricator set up the way they are (I've been in 10 other stone houses in AZ and NY).

Rembrandt fabricated and installed solid surface countertops in my office 8 years ago. They also made a custom aquarium enclosure that is removable. Integrated sinks are very functional and everything they made for me still look greats and have required no maintenance. Everything was installed flawlessly.

Great customer service and great quality of work. We are extremely happy with our countertops and highly recommend Rembrandt.

We have used Rembrandt on many of our jobs as a general contractor specializing in kitchen and bath remodeling. They take pride in fabricating their countertops and even after their 2 yr warranty, they stand behind their work.

We had Rembrandt install solid surface in our kitchen and then had them back to create work desks for our computers. We still get compliments on the kitchen and the desks.... Thanks

Howard did a great job for us and saved us money as well. He was creative, came up with affordable solutions, and his bill came in as promised -- No hidden costs or fees.

Rembrandt did our kitchen and bathrooms in granite and they did a wonderful job. I would recommend them to anyone!

Went in to shop. Salesman was very helpful and patient. Gave me great ideas and information that I would have never thought of. First time flipper. I will be back.

Worst ever. I do not recommend this place. Forman Rafael so selfish and never answer my questions. I'm glad I found someone better to fo my kitchen. And employees look so scare of him..

Talked to a couple people in the office. Did not get the sense anyone cares about the customers at all.

THEY ALSO FABRICATED ANS INSTALLED CORION SHOWER WALLS, CEILING AND FLOOR IN OUR SCOTTSDALE BATHROOM REMODEL.

EXCELLENT WORKMANSHIP AT FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION, REASONABLE COST.

The new owners have no idea what they’re doing. This isn’t the same company it used to be. Steer clear.
