After a year of having these cabinets in place they look like they've been there for 10 years. No matter what you do the drawers never stay in alignment. The self closing tracks close at different depths, the screws for the racks loosen and fall out from normal use. This is a kitchen for 2 adults but it looks like it's getting commercial use. They were cheap and delivered quickly when others had long lead times, but now I know why.

I was contacted before you reply here. Then a local installer was sent out to do what he could to fix them, but he pretty much confirmed the low quality of the hardware and inability to truly adjust them more than side to side. The back adjustment gets knocked out of alignment with the slightest touch, so they never stay adjusted. They also confirmed some of the faces are warped so no matter what the adjustment they won't line up. I'm just going to live with it. But I do appreciate the response and at least an attempt to fix them.

Please folks get your cabinets here you won't regret it they are reliable and they and they can upgrade your place, office,etc. The people here they are friendly and will get your stuff without being hostile or having a smart tone and they with they word I'm glad meeting them. They rock at they job.Don't listen to the haters

They are also contacting people who wrote honest bad reviews to remove them or modify. Plenty of better cabinetry companies out here in AZ that will actually care about the customer and employees.

I started my order for cabinets near the end of 2021. I still have not been able to install my cabinets (due to building issue on my end) so I can’t give an opinion on how well they hold up but will revise once I do.

The short version of how everything went- during the time (2021-2022) everything with their business was completely disorganized. I was given false promises, I waited around multiple different days for my cabinets to be delivered, even with me calling the office and being told they are on the way that day. That was a lie. I could go on but I’ll just say the whole experience was just awful and draining. I eventually received my cabinets because of one amazing employee who quit shortly after because of how bad everything was.

Right before my cabinets were delivered I was so frustrated and didn’t know what to do so I filled a complaint with the BBB. Eventually I was in contact with James Mcalister, the VP I believe. He did the right thing by the customer and refunded part of my money for the time I wasted waiting around. I really think they are trying their hardest to get their company back up to par. I have been told there were individuals in the company that caused a lot of these issues and they no longer are employed there. They have offered discounts to me for future cabinets but I am not a contractor or a house flipper so I have no need to order more. I am satisfied with the agreement that was made in the end and I really do think they are trying hard to satisfy their customers currently. But the whole experience I had was very traumatizing -I realize that sounds a little dramatic. But paying a company a large sum of money, being disregarded and having no way of knowing if you are going to get that money back or get you product is just awful. So unfortunately I cannot give a 5 star review. Hopefully current customers are getting a 5 star experience, it does seem like they are trying.

I ordered cabinets from them at the beginning of June with a promised delivery date of July 6th. On the 6th, nobody called, the cabinets never showed up, and my Account Manager Kimberly would not respond to any emails or phone calls. Similar to what some of the other recent reviews have said, the customer service here is absolutely horrific. My cabinets still have not been delivered, and I continue to not hear back from anybody at Highland Cabinetry with an update as to when I can expect them. I would never do business with them again. Find another Cabinet company.

Update #1: After giving me a THIRD delivery date and me emailing to ask if I could still expect my cabinets today, they told me they are putting a temporary hold on processing all orders. Completely ridiculous considering they've promised me these cabinets on multiple days. I ended up cancelling my order (which they never acknowledged) and having to contact my credit card company to get my money back.

Update #2: 6 months later, someone finally reached out to me to apologize and ask me about my experience and they attempted to make it right, which I appreciate.

I have been working with Highland for a few years now. They have went through tons of changes in the past 2 yrs. I must say I had the privilege of working with Raina Calderon on my last few orders and it has been awesome. She has made it so simple for me to put orders in after checking stock and very prompt. Raina thank you for your hard work and dedication on making sure all orders are correct and answering any questions I had! You are what the company should thrive there selves on to fallow. Thank You again!

UPDATE 3/2023: well HCI must have under went changes because now, they do care! Abby reached out to me to rectify the matter and make things right. There were still a few hiccups alone the way but they have proved to me that customer service is something they are working on now. They have sent a few pieces to replace the damaged we were forced to keep, and set extra supplies for touchups. HCI made sure our contractor was paid for the updates he did for us after the fact. They also sent me their warranty that I thought we were going to be SOL on. We are now very happy with our new kitchen and bathrooms. Thank you!!

I can’t even begin to describe how awful their customer service is. We ordered cabinets from them through Window Depot. They told us our whole kitchen order was in. Turns out we are missing 2. No, problem we have 3 weeks until our countertops are to be installed from another vendor. That vendor confirmed installation with us and aren’t available for 3 more months if we aren’t ready. HCI told Window Depot no problem. Well that turned out to be a huge lie. These 2 are on back order and we were not told until the week before countertop install. Window depot called all their stores to see if they had anything. They even had higher up executives trying to solve this issue with their executives, president and CEO. No one at HCI called back. Everyone is scrambling to find a solution and HCI is MIA. If you want a company with customer service and morals, this isn’t the company for you. They literally will take your money and not deliver. Now my contractor has to install a placeholder, install counters, destroy the placeholder at our cost, and try to not break the counters to install something else, from somewhere else later. This is 100% completely and entirely unacceptable and disgusting behavior. Save yourself and RUN away from them. They will ruin your project.

Really great, they got the job done. That Madison is a keeper. She is on top of everything.

Wanted to share my experience with Kerry the shipping Manager. He went above and beyond to make sure I received my cabinets as quickly as possible. There had been problems getting my order filled but Kerry always answered his phone and made sure that he got back to me in a timely manner. I really appreciated the customer service I received from him.

Working with HCI for over the last year has been a great experience. There have been multiple times that i have been in some binds and they are the place to go to when you need your cabinets. My rep Brittnay has been the absolute best to work with and placing orders with her are a breeze! Thank you and keep up the great work!

The customer service and inventory tracking at this company is disgusting. I have called over 40 times in the last week to reach my account manager, still haven't heard if this item is in stock. Not to mention, they delivered a cabinet that is broken, after it was 12 days late on delivery.

I have ordered many times and I cannot think of one order that has actually gone smoothly. I would avoid Highland Cabinetry at all costs if you like your sanity.

Let me begin by stating that I would strongly NOT recommend doing business with this company. I placed an order for kitchen cabinets to arrive in mid May. Upon the delivery driver showing up, I was at that point informed that two of my cabinets were on backorder, no communication previously so that I could make arrangements with my contractors and no idea when they would be in stock. In addition, there were a couple of shortages, the delivery driver was able to go back to the previous delivery to retrieve one of them, the other shortage I was told I could pick up at the warehouse. I experienced several quality control issues with the cabinets not being squared, one of the cabinets literally fell apart out of the box, one of the roll out trays the dovetails did not align, I received incorrect slides with the trash kit, etc...All of this said, Highland was very non apologetic about the whole situation. It's very difficult to get ahold of anybody via a phone call and their preferred method of communication seems to be email. When one of my backordered cabinets arrived I was basically told that I would have to wait more than a week for delivery because they couldn't fit me in their delivery schedule. I spent numerous hours dealing with unnecessary aggravation, I had to drive two times to their warehouse to pick up my products that I had already paid for delivery and I had to delay my counter installation twice. BUYER BEWARE!!!

Waited an hr for 8 trim pcs and when I got home I realized they gave me the wrong ones.

This company makes pomises they can't keep in order to get you in the door and then pull the old bait and switch, resulting in their inventory is never an issue and supply is always in stock being a complete LIE/marketing scheme.

We were promised that our cabinets were in stock... only to be told that they just sold their entire inventory and didn't have them but would in about 3 weeks... OK, no big deal., things happen and we can wait.. I was told the order would be ready 03/28 and if there were any delays we would be informed BEFOREHAND. On 03/29, I took a day off of work to drive down there to pick up the cabinets. Guess what?!?!?!? After 2 hours of them digging around trying to find our order, they tell us the order actually isn't ready and the items are still backordered... We go home and wait...

I receive an email 2 weeks later saying our order is ready and we take off work again, go back and GUESS. WHAT?!?!!? They STILL aren't ready.

It's been 30 days since this happened and our sales rep and the entire customer service team is MIA and nobody seems to even care. This company is terrible!

Ordered 1 cabinet. Sky Otto said it would be ready last week, Friday. Called Friday, no answer. Sky Otto out of office. Not able to get ahold of sales rep Cim Loren. Called this morning. Said it was ready. Hooked up trailer and drove 45 minutes down there. Waited for a half hour till a guy came out and said they didn't have any. Went back inside waited another half hour. Finally told them to just refund my order. They never sent out my sales rep, manager, or Sky Otto. Been in contracting for many years and can't remember a botched job handled so unprofessionally. Won't be going back.

Disappointing experience, this company does not communicate with each other. It's difficult to get an account manager to process an order, two weeks went by we still had not received our product. I called I emailed I got transferred multiple times with zero answers. I find out that my order was not even processed but my card was charged and my order was not given to the appropriate people within the office. Even spoke with James McAllister. That was pointless I'm not sure why he's the VP. He's all talk and zero action and does not follow up at all. He basically blew me and my order off. Jame is not professional at all. I even asked the front desk when Jame would be in to speak with him face to face. Sadly the front desk had no clue of his schedule and he vary rarely in the office because he doesn't answer his phone.. This is completely unprofessional. I had to provide my original order
confirmation three weeks after the order. James said he was going to follow up he didn't. Sun we have place orders in the past we may not be a large company, but we r your customers. We are not impressed with the changes that have been made. There were 2 saving graces, both helped get my order to me asap awsome communication and superior customer service.. Tony and Shannon, you 2 rock you found the order and you 2 helped out so much. You 2 are rock stars. You need more employees like Tony and Shannon. Sun you have a bad seed named James McAllister. Sadly we won't do business any further with Highland because of this.

Having issues with cabinets being available. Not sure what is going on here but since they've made some personel changes they've had more issues. Cabinets not built correctly, missing cabinets from order.. this has been my experience and my opinion.. I am still a frequent customer and will edit my review in 6 months.

Our contractor sent us here and we were very pleased with the cabinets. Raina help us and she was VERY helpful!

Pricing was rock bottom. They are making these in China and selling them here. The two contractors I sent there both said prices were under what they were paying and quality seemed just fine. So, it appears we have changed cabinet suppliers.

I can't speak about quality as of yet, but other local cabinet sellers were not even close on pricing. Should the quality be sub-par I will add that on later but Windy was super helpful and easy to transact with.

They have a cabinet showroom for customers, they do not sell to the public but, they can give you one of their dealers information for homeowners to buy.
