I submitted an online request to the company and received a message back from them within an hour. My delight at this speedy response was surpassed by my delight in learning they could visit me that very same day. Scott and a squad of tree pros arrived exactly when they said they would, removed a tree and ground the stump in less than 30 minutes, and left that area tidier than it was when they arrived. They took extra care to protect a building that was very close to the tree. I feel they respected me, my time and my property. This is easily one of the most efficient home-service experiences I’ve ever had. Thank you Scott and team!

I also had a large stump from an evergreen tree in my backyard that they did a great job removing. They skinned my California Fan palm as well. This palm really pops now in the front yard and makes me proud to own it.
Not only is this company extremely professional and knowledgable, but the owner's communication sold me on this company. Eric does a great job explaining how they'll take care of all your needs and then delivers. It's hard to navigate through all the different companies to know who will take care of you. This company now has all my business and referrals moving forward.
Scott came by for an estimate and gave the most reasonable price and then some. Was able to fit us in the very next day due to a cancellation. Crew unloaded and went to town right away removing ten palms including stump removal back to back. Trimmed two trees to include a pine and olive tree desperately needed. Communicated throughout job. A few of our palms were strategically removed being close to the house and garden. Crew worked efficiently without any damage. Trunks and branches hauled off after chipping and cleanup was all done all in about 3 hrs. This company knows what they are doing and price honest. Will use them again for future work indeed. Thanks for your hard work. Other outfits wanted double the price not to mention no call backs.
Fantastic job by Scott and the guys. The job wasn't easy, as my Ficus tree is taller than usual and is thick/overgrown. I was somewhat worried going in because the job had been too difficult for less professional companies that were used in the past. After an informative tour of the job with Scott, the team went at it like an Indianapolis 500 pit crew and kept at it until the job was done a couple of hours later. I Immediately knew they weren't messing around. Their effort and enthusiasm was remarkable - they worked professionally and efficiently and cleaned up the surrounding property so well you couldn't tell they were there without seeing the tree.

Eric and his crew were outstanding. They were very polite and happy (hence the name I guess). They were on time and did a great job thinning multiple huge trees and trimming a 40ft long hedge surrounding my backyard… everything looks amazing! The company I have used the last few years did no where as good of a job and I switched because they kept getting worse and worse.

Eric and team did a great job on our multiple trees that need reshaping. He listened closely to what I was looking for and stayed on the job to make sure it was done. The crew did a great job cleaning up and the price was fair.
Dead tree in the back yard was gone before I could blink an eye. Called competitors and they wanted 3x as much money to do the same job. Very friendly and well-staffed. Cleaned up all debris when finished. Very impressed with the service and highly recommended company!!
Eric and his team were fantastic! We had several trees that needed removal and trimming; Happy Tree Guys were well-priced, efficient and took great care to clean up the mess from all the work. We will definitely have them back next year for our annual pruning.

I had other quotes for far more than I paid Happy Tree. The team came with a manager (Scott Johnson) and literally saved my three remaining trees, One had recently fallen. They professionally trimmed a lot of my trees, almost looking barren, but a lot more resilient, wind could pass through and not over them. Thanks guys

Couldn’t have had a better experience! Scott came over the same day I contacted him and quoted a great price. A few days later, Scott & his amazing crew showed up on time, took down a large pine tree in our front yard, cleaned up every speck, and were gone in a little over an hour. This is the only tree company we’ll be using from now on, and I will be recommending them to everybody I know!
They trimmed and thinned out a very large over grown Ficus tree and cleaned up all the previous mess that was there from the tree. The tree looks beautiful! I will use them again!!

The only company I will consider taking care of my trees in the future. Do yourself a favor and line up some of your neighbors to also have their trees trimmed (like I did). Not only does my property look nice…theirs will as well!

Scott stopped by within a few minutes of my call this morning and, after agreeing on the job and price, Scotts team came over and within 3 hours had 5 stumps ground and the front yard cleaned up and ready for our next phase of tree and shrub planting. Excellent team and very good at what they do! Highly recommend Happy Tree Guys!
They crew did a great job and cleaned up after. They also asked good questions as far as trimming trees and keeping views. I’ll use them again.
Eric and his team did a fantastic job bringing down a huge tree next to a property that I own. The tree was right next to a block wall and 8' from the house. They were professional and safe and priced very reasonably. They took care of the tree, ground the stump and cleaned up the mess leaving the area nearly better than it was before. I would defiantly use them again and encourage anyone who is looking for a good company to consider the same.

I was very pleased with the service provided by Scott and Eric's crew. They were on time for the appointment and very efficient in their execution of the removal of my huge Sisso tree. They did a great job of cleanup after the work was done as well. The price was great and they were able to start the job 2 days after they quoted. As with many of the 5 star reviews Scott and his crew (5 workers) did an amazing job in cleaning up 4 mesquite trees that had been neglected for more than a decade. They also trimmed a couple of other trees, including a large mature yucca that was dangerously (for the yucca) growing over our road and subject to collision with garbage and delivery trucks. But the thing that got us to Scott was a 20+ year old lemon tree that had started dropping a significant number leaves, had significant bark cracking, and had been subjected to bad pruning (read: hacking) in the past. Scott came out to look at the tree, identified with a camera app with photos of the leaves on the tree, a number of issues (salt, lack of sufficient fertilizer, and need for deep watering). He was very conservative with pruning leaving some interior branches what probably should go, since they provided some bark shade and their removal in June might have overstressed the tree. They came to work, had several trucks including a large chipper, were efficient and cleaned up the grounds among a variety of cactus plants under the trees. There pricing was fair, they honored Scott's verbal estimate even though I suspect they ended up doing more work that Scott initially expected. I have no reservations in recommending Happy Tree Guys.

I had three palms and one pibe tree removed, one mesquite tree trimmed, and a bush cleaned up. All the work was done thoroughly and as scheduled. Team was professional throughout and I would not hesitate to use them again.
Eric and his crew have done tree work at my house for a number of years. From removal of dead palms to trimming of trees and palms the guys are always on time and do excellent work. And most importantly, they clean up after themselves. Highly recommended.

We had a real mess on our hands with 5 overgrown big trees and they cleaned them up and made them look great. Their crew was efficient and easy to work with.
