This plant shop and plant yard is the perfect size for exploring, and also for finding what you need. Came in to learn more about my dying pothos, and to get a new vine, along with knowledge about how to keep them both alive. Alex hooked me up, answered all of my questions, and even took the time to show me how I should pot the plants together. Awesome experience. Will make this my plant shop, hands down.

The staff is so helpful. My family doesn't have the greenest thumb(s), but the Dig It Gardens staff suggested some low maintenance plants that we've managed to keep alive for months now! I've gone back multiple times since then, continuing to add greenery to our home. The hospitality remains the same, amazing. Highly recommend. Quality of plants, 5 star. Quality of the staff, 5 star.

Found this place on Google. Awesome place, big selection of both indoor and outdoor plants, and extremely helpful. We will remember out trip to Arizona for many years to come with the beautiful plants we are taking home.
I don’t know much about plant nurseries but I do know a lot about genuine, upbeat customer service. This place has it!
It’s a local gem buried in central phoenix. The selection of vegetation is immense and almost overwhelming. I came in to get a gift card but I am completely confident the person that helped me would have made it easy for me to pick a plant.

Dig it is hands down one of the best and coolest nursery in the valley! The have such a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor plants. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I was extremely impressed with Lauren, their new marketing coordinator, she’s doing a kick ass job with all the new swag! Honestly dig it has made so many improvements on the esthetic of the store and solidifying their style plus partnerships with other local small businesses. I always look forward to going to Dig It.

My experience at Dig It Gardens was a sweet delightful surprise on Memorial Day Weekend. After getting off early from work I stopped by to receive some help for plants I won at an Earth Day event. I was confused and very lost as to what to do with my plants to make sure not only did they survive but thrive. Upon my visit the team at Dig It Gardens took me under their wing, helped me to repot my plants as well as made sure I have the knowledge to keep my little green babies happy. Specifically Alex did such a great job at providing warm customer service. As someone who newly relocated to Phoenix it is important to me to find new locations in the community that I can trust for my every day needs. It brings a smile to my face knowing that I have a spot in town where I can go to have fun, buy quality products, as well as trust the individuals serving me.

They didn't have a very big selection of houseplants. And what they did have was way too expensive. When I walked in I was greeted by a young man who seemed very nice and after I was looking around for a while I picked up two plants- a prayer plant and something else- I was going to buy but he never came back. He disappeared so I put them down and left

Fair prices and great staff. You won't spend $28 for 6 inch potted plants like other places in the valley. Whenever I'm near downtown I always stop in. Usually always have something new and expanding.

Bryan designed the front yard we didn’t even know we wanted!! We have a flood irrigated lot, and he combined this with the most beautiful desert plants. He finished our yard and patio months ago, and even now, almost every time we are out front, someone walking by tells us how great our yard looks. Bryan is absolutely the best to work with - we loved his plan from the beginning, and when we requested a couple plant changes, he was so patient and receptive. His crew also could not have been more professional. We can’t wait to use Bryan and Dig It again for our backyard!

I came across their house plant 101 class and thought it would be a fun date activity for my fiancé and I. We were not disappointed! The owner taught the class and he was very informative, helpful, and opened our eyes to all the things we were doing wrong with our house plants! Very nice nursery in the middle of downtown. Great outdoor options as well as a good selection of houseplants.
This is a beautiful little nursery in the heart of Phoenix. It was a serene place to wander with interesting displays of their own in addition to the items for sale.
They had a large selection of succulents and desert adapted plants in all sizes. They also had a small area of vegetables, but with a large variety, including plants you don't find at the big box stores. They also have nice selections of pots and indoor plants. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helped get my purchases to the car. Great experience!

I want to tell everyone in Phoenix about Dig It. Their selection of plants, pots, and necessities like soil and fertilizers are great, it's an experience to just wander, shop and listen to their always great music. Their indoor showroom is so well done and they're constantly changing it around, they stock local art work and products like candles, etc... but all of those things aside...their staff is on a whole different level. If you have questions, ask them, call them, come in and chat. They are knowledgeable, friendly and so communicative. Recently I found a giant un-potted plant by the dumpsters of our housing community, I called Dig It, they told me to send them a photo... They identified the plant for me and left outside two different size plastic pots for me to come by and grab... for free because they're awesome. I will shop my local favorite any day over the big corporate Home Depot's of the world. Thanks Dig It!

We visited this shop on a recent trip to PHX. The selection was awesome and it was just a cool palce to hit up, even you aren't looking to buy anything. Like a little botanical garden in Central PHX. Paul guided us through the different plant/cacti and answered every question we threw his way. We found two cacti that we wanted to take back home with us and asked Paul if he would be able to ship them to us. Paul was extremely thoughtful in his packaging and handling of the cacti and got them out in the mail very quickly. I can't express enough how amazing of a job he did boxing these prickly bad boys. They are now safely in their pots and we were so appreciative of the extra effort taken by Paul to get them to us. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.

Super excited to have gone here and gotten the help I needed from one of their representatives! I do not know what I am doing with plants, so she was super helpful, let me pick the right plant for my 2nd story apartment with a cat. I feel super confident about my ability to take care of it and I definitely recommend this place! My work also gets their plants from here and someone comes in weekly to make sure they all look good as we are a big business. Very accommodating!

Sooooo many fun succulents and cacti at this shop! I’ve seen lithops, h. Tesselata, and h. Truncata here. They have some cute indoor plants too if that’s more your thing. I also have seen some awesome outdoor stuff that was absolutely gorgeous. There always seems to be something new and fun in the shop.
The people I’ve met working there are fabulous as well! I have very few windows, and they were able to help recommend some grow lights for some of my tropical plants. Care instructions are great, and very detailed, and they seem to really want to make sure that you’re plant is happy. If you’re worried about a sad/sick plant, I’ve heard them mention they will help identify what’s wrong with your plant and how to correct it.

Best garden center I have ever seen! Amazing selection and the staff is so helpful. Especially the owner Ryan. You can tell he has a strong passion for this and loves what he does. They made these cool potted flowering succulents for my friends wedding - so unique and cool. I took mine home! Highly recommend!
This is one of my top favorite places to buy my house plants. The plants that I have bought are the fullest and fastest growers. Great quality plants, and pots. The people are so nice and if you have any plant questions they will answer them , even if you didn’t buy the plant from them.
Dig It is wonderful. Their staff are helpful and can tell you how to care properly for any of their plants. They always have new pots to choose from everytime I've been there. They'll even pot your plant for you and it always looks amazing when they're done

Amazing store! Loved that they helped me pot my succulents when I took them in today along with giving me feedback on how to maintain them. The only thing that I may say I disliked was that they have a cactus near the entrance door and my mother got stuck with the spikes which gave her wilts. She is thankfully alright but it can be a hazard for others not being careful as in this instance.

Really cool place to go if you are new at getting into plants.
I was asking about different plants and they could tell I had no idea what I was doing. I asked about a plant I really liked and they said you had to really know what you are doing to keep it alive so they recommended it wouldn’t be right for me at this time. I ended up getting a few different ones that were a big more for beginners. I appreciate their info and not trying to sell me something that I wasn’t ready for.

This is my favorite store in Phoenix. I visit nearly every week! The selection is incredible and always changing. The staff is always happy to help with any questions you might have. The prices are great too! I have bought my rye grass and fertilizer there, small and large indoor plants, and even local made candles. Great for weekend landscaping projects, or for a last minute birthday gift for a friend. Do yourself a favor and stop to and say hi!
We went here today for the first time. They are the only ones that had the potting soil I needed for my Venus fly trap so I can transplant it. They are very nice and very helpful. Will be going back for sure.

Wow! They went above and beyond to offer recommendations, re-pot some plants for me, and help me figure out how to recover one of my sad houseplants. The plants and pots that I bought from them are healthy and beautiful. HIGHLY recommend!

So I was looking for somewhere to go to get a plant for my boyfriends birthday and found this place. Dig It is a beautiful nursery! The guy there was great, very big help. I absolutely love the vibe here and I will definitely be coming back anytime I want more plants!
Give the staff the opportunity to educate you and your garden will undeniably be better for it (healthier, more diverse, more supportive of local wildlife, etc). They know what they are talking about - no surprise given their past with Baker Nursery. Extensive selection of air plants, carnivorous plants, and pretty much everything in varying stages of growth and size. Be sure to check out the marked-down section, where you'll find plants on the cheaper side who need a little TLC but are definitely salvageable. Great place for gifts, as well! Say hi to the parrots for me.

Best place in my downtown Phoenix area to get plants. The staff are very knowledgeable about the plants and what is best for my yard and my location in the yard. They sell more unique plants than what you will find at home depot or Loews.

Dit It Gardens came highly recommended by friends, and I have to agree that they are outstanding. I met 3 staff members today and they were all friendly, warm, and very knowledgeable. The selections were wonderful.
This is such a cool little nursery tucked in a relatively small lot. Great variety of plants and trees including various organic and non-organic vegetable starts, sub tropical trees, and plenty of succulents. Their prices are reasonable and they provided me with a $5 off coupon for my next visit. Very friendly people. I'll be back again.
The owner is great and everyone is really helpful. But I bought some $75 bushes that I was told would grow great on my southern facing wall. Well they didn't make it through the summer despite a healthy watering schedule. I was a bit disappointed. I will be back again and will give them another shot and update my review accordingly.
I LOVE THIS LITTLE NEIGHBORHOOD NURSERY! I've been a customer for years and it's so nice to see it alive again. The first few times I was here, the variety and staff were AMAZING. Then, it seemed like the entire shop went into hibernation. Now, it's back and great as ever.
Ryan and Jessica are very professional and knowledgeable about their craft. They do a great job of educating people about their plants across any level of knowledge, from beginner to expert. They are a great benefit to the community and provide excellent customer service.

This was my first time here, and was immediately made welcome and taken care of. I brought in a small potted rose, with a bigger pot that I had intentions of replanting, and came in to ask for guidance on what soil, fertilizer, and if the pot would work. He assured me the new pot setup I had would work, and to my surprise, took care of the repotting, including fertilizer. No charge! Just that I buy something sometime...which I totally am. I already know which planting project I'm coming back here for, and I think I found my new go-to place for plants. Thank you guys so much!
Such a cute little shop. Went in today and got a curly spider, medical aloe, and jellybean plant. All the plants inside looked happy and healthy. There was the biggest elephant ear and ZZ plants I have ever seen, plus reasonable prices to top it off.

Not an experienced plant person at ALL. But i want to try. Came looking for a specific pot that a good friend had purchased from them. Initially couldn’t find it so i picked some other things. Ryan was super knowledgeable about the plants and gave me great tips that i likely can’t mess up! Then when i mentioned what i was looking for they pointed out that they had one up high. It had a plant potted in it that i really didn’t want so they removed the plant and sold me the pot! Really hppy with my experience. Will definitely be back! ?

Great nursery. Staff is very knowledgeable about all that they sell. Will help you find the perfect plant based on your landscaping needs not just to sell you something. Will be returning for all future plants and cacti!
Design center is impossible to work with, they make an appointment with you and then cancel it, they make an other appointment again and then cancel it, third time just didn't show up, not even cancelling, they surely send you invoice and take your money, but no-show, really disappointed, won't recommend. Our budget for the landscaping was 100K+, someone else will get the business now. Now they are just sending lame email, not even phone call, really shady. stay away from them not worth of your money and time

I love this place, has a great variety of plants, I have gotten 6 plant babies from them and they are all doing good. I am always greeted by super nice people.
Very helpful staff. They know their plants and are happy to give out advice when asked.The organic potting soil I purchased was half the price of the same brand at Home Depot. Will return again.
The staff here is knowledgeable, friendly and willing. The plant selection is focused on what will grow in AZs challenging climate.
They have a design arm too! For the urban gardener, this is the place.
Love going to this place they have great pots and even cooler plants, I love the large selection of cacti they have! Will be back soon

I had an idea of what I was looking for and with some guidance Jessica was able to put something together for me while I waited. i went to a $10 ‘how to grow herbs’ class. worth every penny. i decided not to grow herbs because it is a demanding hobby in this weather, but i learned a lot just about growing plants in the desert in general. i would take another class there to continue to develop my plant growing skills.
I found this place a year ago, and I haven't gone anywhere since. The staff and owners are amazing. Everyone is very knowledgeable and so helpful. They take the time to answer any questions you might have. You can tell their passion is plants. Great selection at great prices too! You need to check them out!

Great set up. Need more variety
Paid for them to show up and give me an estimate for landscaping. Waited a month for them to get back to me. And called them to find out where things were with my proposal. Was told that they were booked out for the next 6 months and that they would refund my estimate fee. Then got a call from the owner who gave the excuse sorry we got busy. This is not how you run a business. You do not forget that you have a paying client, and not bother to even start on the proposal you were promised. Making things right is not giving a refund, you do the work you were hired to do.
